what is the BONUS stage??? Huh Huh

why have another 1.5 billion???

It's the dev wanting more money xD
None the less I will probably still mine...
but dev says "A total of 6.72 billion pre-mined"Huh

I think the dev needs to do a bit of explaining... A high coin price is good. It means IPO investors as well as miners get their moneys worth...

606  Economy / Services / Hiring altcoin developer (Again) on: February 21, 2014, 09:18:05 AM
Ok, so I am looking to hire an altcoin developer to fork a coin for me. It will be PoW/PoS and I would like KGW added into it. I can pay .1 now and I can do another .1 after launch. If you are a trusted developer I will go first if not you go first or escrow.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Δ Altcoin Creation Service Δ 3 Combos Δ Black Dragon Δ on: February 21, 2014, 03:10:30 AM
Have you made any coins here before? Do you offer escrow? If not would you be willing to do a coin for someone to prove you are legit?
Sure, I think we'll offer a free testcoin for someone when my parter wakes up (he lives in a different timezone). We can use escrow if you want and we are offering to send the windows wallet before you do any payment.

Sure thing. PM me when he wakes up and we might be able to work something out.

Thanks for this. Is there anything other than mining we can do to help the network?
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Compare pools: MiddleCoin/CleverMining/HashCows/WafflePool/Hashbros on: February 18, 2014, 09:36:36 AM
The only real way to test it properly is to point 10 Mh/s at each of the 5 pools over 7 days to find which mines the best coins. Reason being is that different coins pop up all the time with different earnings for each...

How does tekcoin's PoS work? Is it %40 every month or is it one of or?
612  Economy / Services / Re: Get your own Alt-Coin on: February 17, 2014, 01:25:15 AM
Can you do PoS/PoW as well? I am looking for a fork of CGB.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IPO, premine, both or neither? on: February 16, 2014, 01:05:50 AM
What is the coin for? Or who is it for?

What is it about all existing coins that makes them unable to perform the function this coin is intended to perform?

-MarkM-

This coin is aimed at investors mainly, it will be a pos/pow coin used to retain value similar to bitbar.

It's main competitor will be bitbar. The thing with bitbar is that there was a lot of controversy surrounding it with a premine/instamine as you can see here: http://cryptolife.net/crapcoin-of-the-day-bitbar/

Now understandibly we are talking about premining a coin that is a fixed version of a premined coin... Although it will be done in the eyes of everyone to see and understand. It will be fair for everyone to get in on and it will not spam out thousands of coins straight away and then just stop producing any coins at all.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to start a dead coin? on: February 16, 2014, 12:45:06 AM
Anyone else got any ideas?
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IPO, premine, both or neither? on: February 16, 2014, 12:44:51 AM
Rather premine than IPO, that way he can make money out of his own coin without wasting other peoples btc if the coin fails hard.

Why not a mix? A small premine just to keep the coin up and going (Can do public wallet or whatever) and then a small IPO to raise funds for services and such.

619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Not picking up monitor with no graphics cards? on: February 15, 2014, 08:46:29 AM
Ok, so recently I had to send of my 7950 to get fixed under warranty so ever since I have been using teamviewer. Now the problem is when I try to connect a real monitor to it through the onboard hdmi slot it won't display anything. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it to display.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Building altcoin (Battle windows or go Linux?) on: February 15, 2014, 06:37:38 AM
Ok, so as the title pretty much says, I am trying to build an altcoin and I am wondering if it is worth trying to compile it in windows or should I go to linux? (I have no real linux experience but there is a tutorial) or should I just persevere? I have a computer already running windows but I can just plug in a live USB with ubuntu or something on it.
