604  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whats the best cloud mining site? on: November 02, 2014, 11:17:04 AM
I enjoy cex.io.

They have developed themselves as a reputable service provider and have never had an issue with them.

Very professional site in my opinion and deserves the traffic it is receiving.

+ Another good hashing site is the GAWminers hashlets one.

606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silk Road bitcoin auction - Australian edition on: November 02, 2014, 11:13:55 AM
I still remember during the last open auction had the btc price tanking. It's like suddenly you introduce so much supply into the open market

It bounced back relatively quickly though.

People realised that the coins were still being sold at market value and not 50% under as people assumed they'd be sold at.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Foundation to repair relationship with community on: November 02, 2014, 11:11:15 AM
I don't see how they can improve it. They have done absolutely well to demoralize our community, let's see what they can do to solve it.

They'll implement new improvements in their transparency issue for starters.

And probably talk about the team, give a lot of background information on every member, and give their reasons for their conduct in the past year(s).
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest more than you can afford to lose on: November 02, 2014, 11:09:14 AM
Basically you're telling us to invest all we have into a cryptocurrency that still hasn't fully proven itself and has been around for 5 years.

I agree that people should invest, but everything into 1 commodity/currency is much too risky.

609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CNNMoney - Where did bitcoin go wrong? on: November 02, 2014, 11:05:13 AM
Honestly, I didn't mind the video.

It did make a few fair points, (about the number of pumpers/fanatics of the cryptocurrency). But I still think bitcoin will remain number 1 for years to come.

612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which of these bitcoin units do you NOT want to use? on: October 26, 2014, 12:46:15 PM
I would prefer that we stick to mbtc, btc and satoshi. They are simple and don't overcomplicate things when we move onto bits and ubits.

616  Other / Off-topic / Re: VOD & Tomatocage slowly shitting in their pants? on: October 04, 2014, 11:03:52 PM
It will not be a good move to sell out of fear. Trading is risky, when the risk is high there is also high rewards. Many knows this price is temporary it will be going back to 500+ within 2 months. Last year the price goes back as low as $65 then within 2-3 months the price goes to $1000+.

They probably not sell their stashed they probably bought when the price is very low that even the price on $100 - $200 price they still have a profit.
