601  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: January 30, 2016, 08:00:29 PM
If i did not belive in it then i would have been wasting alot of time reading on this forum and posting here and not to talk about the money i have invested in btc. so guess most of the people posting on this forum believes in btc.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: Japan adopts negative interest rate in surprise move on: January 30, 2016, 01:06:10 PM
So how exactly does negative interest work? They PAY you to borrow their money? Isn't that kind of like getting paid to do trash removal?
Normal bank account: people save their money and get annual interests = You earn money by leaving it in the bank.
Negative interest rate: people save their money and pay for it = You lose money by leaving it in the bank.

It's kind of like lending your money to people and giving them free interests at the same time. With a cherry on top.

very good description , was about to type this but u got first and typed it in a better way. but this pretty much sums it up.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ...and THIS is why I prefer to use Bitcoin. on: January 30, 2016, 12:55:18 PM

607  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: January 24, 2016, 09:24:42 AM
Selling right now is madness!
Sell at 600$ in few months if you must but probably we can ses 800 or 900 by the end of this year!
But nothing for sure!

agreed, selling now just for cashing out and not trading is madness, 600$ feels like a certainty but like you said we cant know for sure. but we can believe Cheesy
608  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2016, 09:15:54 AM
One of the worst mistakes I've made with bitcoin was investing
Investing in scam sites and losing everything I've invested.

It sucks if this has ever happened to you but you'll get over it once you figure out a way to make more money or get more btc.

feel you lost alot on investment sites and i dont talk low sums under 0.1. but now i stay away so i learned my leason i guess. i guess it would make me angrier if i did not have a job. and i was dependent on the btc in some way.
609  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: January 24, 2016, 07:40:18 AM

613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Washington Post: 'R.I.P. Bitcoin. It’s time to move on' on: January 22, 2016, 10:32:02 PM
Human nature is just naturally pessimistic. You will get more views writing about the 'failure' of bitcoin than its small successes.

This. alot of people want bitcoin to fail not only big banks , people that did not get involved with btc to begin with and now spend their time bashing it hopeing it fail. just asking around my friend circle i can see most people have a negative view of btc. they have never even tryed bitcoins have never bought a bitcoin and they still want it to fail, easier to bash something than trying to understand it. pretty much sum up the country i live in lol.
614  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: January 22, 2016, 08:49:07 PM
1 btc is not even much money to invest in the first place. so yes ofc you should invest in 1 btc! its a good long term investment . it might not make you rich but it will make you some money atleast i believe.

1 bitcoin is not a big amount to investment at the moment. But in a few years, it will be a big amount. So it is better to buy some now.

yes sir. thats what i meant its stupid not to buy since they are still cheap Smiley so its a good investment
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What regular people think about bitcoin ? on: January 22, 2016, 11:28:05 AM
i find it funny that most people say its to expensive asked my friends, and i tell them you dont need to buy one whole bitcoin at the time you can buy parts of a bitcoin. then they all seemed pretty mind blown. i dont understand how they could not think of that on their own lol. but then they just say its to complicated getting into. so i guess its just all excuses.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ecuador's Digital Currency is a Fraud on: January 22, 2016, 11:25:06 AM

618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: January 22, 2016, 01:14:08 AM
i would avoid both trading and gambling becuse they will just lose you money in the long run.signature campaign will make you money . maybe not 1$ an hour but still some money each month.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some one paid 1.0394BTC as fee for 2 transactions. on: January 22, 2016, 12:39:06 AM
yes this has to be a mistake. when i read the topic on this thread i looked forward to see some big transaction and i was disappointed. those fees for such "small" transactions has to be a mistake.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is growing faster than Bitcoin on: January 22, 2016, 12:32:02 AM
There's another topic comparing the 2: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1260666.0

The subject here is that between 2014 and 2015, Paypal gained 16 millions new users (https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/about). There's no way to be sure as it's impossible to count how many users BTC has, but I believe it's more than BTC. Much more. So I'm asking why? And ultimately, what can be done to reverse this trend?

Since BTC is cheaper to use, I guess Paypal is more successful because it's better at making its users feel safe, without any dark cloud/block size issue above their heads.

I sincerely believe BTC's one hundred times better than Paypal because it's a currency, and unregulated, but something clearly has to change. I've been here long enough to remember guys writing that BTC would kill Paypal, it hasn't, and it doesn't look that it will.

cant see how you can compare btc to paypal. 2 diffrent services one handle online payments with fiat money, one handles a digital currency. one has been around for like ever it feels like and one is "new".
why dont we compare why more people watched star wars episode 7 than star wars episode 4....
