601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know which coins are good? on: April 01, 2018, 03:55:54 AM
If you want to find just like kind of coins you need to read some of there whitepaper of in the website of the project and or if they are active of the project. Actually we need to read some of their information if this coins have a potential to increase the value.
The best thing to do is to check for the latest updates on legit crypto sites. Do research on its background and coin dimension, check if there is a reliable team working behind the project, and if there is a good business plan implemented in it.
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you love Bitcoin? on: March 31, 2018, 03:06:17 AM
I love bitcoin because it helps me a lot,  And it is really helpful to everyone who believes on it. I think bitcoin is becoming now a part of our life and it is slowly becoming trend almost everyday. It is all maybe because many people do eoeve on it and many people wanted to have it for gaining purposes.
Bitcoin is a gateway to a healthy and productive well-being. It does not only look for the welfare of itself alone but for the security and benefits of everybody, those who are willing and serious about it. I love bitcoin because it truly helps me a lot like earning at my own comfort, it teaches a lot of lessons that would influence both personal and professional aspects, and it offers a lot of opportunities. I hope everyone should take this amazing opportunity and together as one we shall march towards success.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: March 30, 2018, 12:52:14 PM
It is know that bitcoin has made a few millionaires, but many of these people don´t have any particular knowledge of the economy nor business. Do you think that is a fair situation?
Of course they deserve it. It is the result of their hardwork, no matter what the reason whether they don't have knowledge on business or economy as long as worked out from it. Those knowledge can be learn so it is not a big deal. As you remember there are some people who become millionaires even though they cannot finish highschool.

Exactly! We can't blame them if they became millionaire and they're not knowledgeable enough about it. It seems like OP is envious with those people who  became millionaire. I don't really see any problem with those who became millionaire because of bitcoin. They worked hard for it and they deserve it. It's their destiny to became millionaire. Even if your knowledgeable about a certain thing, if you don't give your 100% effort,  you can't really be like them.
I commend to their hardwork and dedication on why they reach that peak of their success. They really much deserve their wealth because of their persistency and patience to deal with all the trials along the way, despite the unpredictable world of cryptocurrency. Not only in bitcoin, everything that you do with passion in it, sincerity and with constant perseverance, then you deserve on top of your back for the job well done.
604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting tired of waiting on: March 29, 2018, 11:52:20 AM
I don’t know how much more. My $1350 investment is worth $526.78 as of this moment. My coins were BTH, LTC, and ETH.

Thats bad and it is happening with everyone in here. Even I am down to XYZ investment because of this down trend and hating that I have to wait for so long. To be honest I am the guy who always keep telling people keep your holdings as it is no matter what happens but sometimes it does feel like this that, how long to wait. But again as I said we cant loose the hope and keep telling ourselves that just keep holding this bulls and we will have the perfect ride sooner than we think. Blink :-)

Just to let you know, I keep earning the bitcoin or tokens no matter what happens in the market so that my most of the time gets divided here and it decrease the load of such devil thoughts. You try it too. Smiley
We all feel the same way, but our respond matters. That's why you should have understood the nature of its market so you know how to deal with it and to have a back up strategy to whatever may happen. Patience is a virtue amd whoever will pass this challenge will be rewarded and blessed. Believe that something ahead is waiting to ease the tiredness you feel. Keep the faith and positivity going.
605  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin, how far it can go! on: March 28, 2018, 01:44:25 PM
Regardless of whether or not bitcoin encounter associate degree Brobdingnagian dump I trust that it will rise and go way probably a year or evermore on the grounds that bitcoin is that the most drifting currently a days and it's very the most wellspring of an extra wage that is significant currently a days,we can't deny that we have a tendency to as a full want bitcoin for people to select up a big live of profit.
We might not know when things on earth will be over. We don't have any control of what might happen in the future. But as bitcoiners, each of us has roles for its progress and success. It's future depends on how we manage it wisely and strategically. And if we do our role faithfully with passion and persistency then you will be guided and blessed.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the market recover? on: March 28, 2018, 01:15:45 PM
Yes, there’s no way that bitcoin will die, not ever. As of now, we’re experiencing a huge correction and we cannot say when will this end. By checking at the charts, I think it is still pretty normal. This situation happened last year as well, so I don’t really worry. I also think that the dip will end and recover half way this year and the value of coins will skyrocket again at the end of the year.
Let's be realistic, cryptocurrency is unpredictable due to lots of factors and one of these is the most common supply and demand. In times of its rapid drop and decrease in value, we part of the crypto world have to remain strong, positive, and patient. Let's always bear in mind that life if life is not always at its best, then for sure it's also not always at its worst. We fail, fall, stumble, and bombarded with trials, but let's use all these as our weapon to move forward and go on with life.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stop listen to false news on: March 28, 2018, 05:47:20 AM
This fake news propogate by some people who want to crush Bitcoin just to buy it in smaller price.

Yes, it could be true. They make negative news so bitcoin prices go down and they will buy at low prices and they will try to make positive news so that many people are interested in bitcoin and when many bitcoin price demand increases, then they will sell it for profit, and that is politics.
so many people who want to drop the bitcoin price just to buy it in large quantities. but false news sometimes makes many arrests panic, and sells heavily. well, for now there are so many stories about cryptocurrency, and the like that is fake.
Fake news has increased rapidly and its proliferation has become a trend. Social media has become the platform of fake news in different part of the world, and all of us can be a victim of it. What we can do is to be scrupulous, know where the issue is coming from or the source of it, and be liable to share and deliver legit news. Don't be a victim of fake news, and fooled by inappropriate information. Let's all be aware that it exists and be vigilant.
608  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to work on bitcointalk effectively? on: March 28, 2018, 05:04:48 AM

609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End of Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2018, 06:45:37 PM
Such incidents were taking place even before the introduction of Blockchain technology and would continue to take place for years even IF bitcoin was to end. Ending a billion dollar industry because of one story doesn't seem practical and I highly doubt whether bitcoin would end for this reason.
But yes, since the currency is not regulated by government, it does give criminals an easier way to launder money. That is one aspect that government would want to curb in the near future.
No Bitcoin cannot end on this note so easily. Bitcoin has a lot of capability and potential to rise again and spread its popularity again. Many people still use Bitcoin. It is the best option for investment in today's date even when the prices are low. Many people still hold Bitcoins as they have faith in it.Bitcoin has faced many ups and downs in the last nine years but has always emerged victorious. After the price fall it recovers quickly and goes up again. It can give competition to fiat currency.
It's good reputation and kindness has brought Bitcoin farther, that's why a lot of people still believe its potential, credibility, and integrity. Let negativity and fake news be overpowered with faith and passion to lead our journey to the right direction. There's no easy way to eliminate bitcoin, it's backed up with strong hold of systematic and technical functionalities that can hardly stop Bitcoin from operating.
610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading don't work for me too well on: March 27, 2018, 07:12:46 AM
Have lost so much money on coins that doesn't work well for me. My flaws are I'm  impatient and ignorant this maybe a good time to find some insight and good answers on how to get better
If you are not good in trading, you must focus first on improving your skills and knowledge. You are aware that you don't have patience and you can easily lose your money. You can be successful trader if you will focus on improving your skills and knowledge.
Failures are part of success. Every failure is a chance for us to stand up from fall, and evaluate ourselves if where we went wrong, check the grounds for improvement, and identify what your strengths and weaknesses are. Don't ever think of giving up. Trading works well if you know how to let it work for you. Study more of it, do research, consult experts, and read legit articles for tips and strategies. In doing so, it will help you hone your skills and knowledge of trading.
611  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: March 27, 2018, 06:49:41 AM
Forums are being filled with speculation, almost all topics that appear lead to falling bitcoin prices, whether this will continue, this is the right time to buy, blah blah blah. Come on, the storm must pass, let us focus on the positive topics instead of continuing to discuss this 50% decline. Start talking about the positive news from Singapore deputy, bitcoin that has gone up 20% today and others. Think positive and positive things will come.
most people still do not know that one of the factors that make bitcoin or altcoin decrease is because of negative news! but there are also people who deliberately make negative news so that when bitcoin and altcoin decrease they can buy at a cheap price.
The biggest challenge I face every single day of my life is to always stay positive. In a world full of inevitability, and fear that have overpowered humanity, we have to remain devoted and have a positive outlook in life. What you think you become, fill your heart and mind with love, passion, motivation, and commitment to have the best and positive outcome. Bitcoin is volatile as we all know, it might give a negative impact, but the way we look at things positively will give a positive impact.
I agree on that, I believe that if we think positive we can really bring positive thing. Being positive is one of the most important behaviour of human. It will really make us more motivated because we can have hope by thinking positive even of we are experiencing a hard situation today. So then I suggest to be more positive we are not permanently on the hard situation.
I'm so inspired and grateful how people in this forum continue to stay positive and keeping their outlook in life seriously, despite the struggles and hardships we face. Positivity is contagious, like a perfume that gives and spread fragrance to everyone and whoever smells it will feel its essence and it will live in every heart and mind. A positive outlook in life can bring us all farther, it's a matter of mindsetting, like bringing good thoughts and taking a look at the brighter side. If you know yourself well, if you keep your faith firm, and have goal to target, then nothing can stop your will and burning desire to be directed to the right path.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creativity in crypto world on: March 26, 2018, 02:53:46 PM
I'm not bored with the crypto world. Here I experience the most vivid emotions. Work in the office was boring. Here I'm as at roller coaster - this all causes a hurricane of emotions.
Creative mind and soul play a vital role in crypto world. Experimenting, taking risks, failures, mistakes while having fun make it more worthwhile to deal with crypto. We have to be innovatively wise, persistent, curious, and should have a tremendous spirit. These are the qualities to be well-versed, creative, and be successful in crypto.
613  Other / Archival / Re: Help a Beginner to understand... on: March 25, 2018, 12:02:19 PM
Hello guys...

I have diversified my portfolio to about 25 different cryptos which were worth about 7000-8000$ just before the bitcoin crash came and I am wondering whats the exact reason behind this, when or will it recover (and so the alt coins I hold, don't have any bitcoin).

Why do almost all alt coins crash because of the bitcoin crash or correction?

My portfolio is worth only 4000$ atm.

Sorry for being an beginning idiot and asking this and thanks for everybody who can explain it to me

Maybe they all said that kingdom will follow to the king. And bitcoin is the current king of crypto.LOL...
I think market crashing always happen every year but it always recover. Just dont panic. Hold it and all will be green soon

don't panic is the only way that we can do right now and we need to be patient for a while. until the bitcoin price moves up again, we cannot predict when altcoin price will increase but we still have time to see all altcoin price increases again. this crashing will end soon and we can see the market make a good movement with the green light again so don't worry about this because soon you will make a big profit again.
To beginners, the best ways to help them understand is to provide examples, make learning fun, let them read and watch related articles and videos and do sharing and comparison. The message I could give to beginners is to relax and be positive. When you're in need of help, and there's nowhere to go, always remember that we are one team and family and we are all here to support each other. We are in a crypto journey of uncertainties and unpredictability, and the best way to deal with it is to have the right attitude.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to put all of your money into only 1 crypto, which would it be? on: March 25, 2018, 11:38:13 AM
I think it would be bitcoin because at the moment it is a more stable currency with the largest volume Wink
I am going to go with this one as well. Bitcoin is the coin that I would put money into, Bitcoin is a fast coin to trade.
I would put it all in ethereum, because I believe its potential and value. It has a great edge over bitcoin. Ethereum blocks takes about 14 seconds per confirmation compared to Bitcoin’s 10 minutes, coins Market Cap are actually Ethereum-based tokens, and core development team is very healthy. If I were to invest, these are the main factors I'm gonna watch for, and good thing I found all these qualities in one coin, which is Ethereum.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: Working smart vs working hard - an ultimate guide on: March 24, 2018, 03:02:45 PM
in university I have seen so many people reading all the stuff written in the books by spending lots of time and hard working but some werr reading only the necessary parts which were giving cruical info and was linking with others by resulting in lower time and greater efficiency.

I think what you say makes another "crucial" point in helping you understand the difference between working smart and working hard. I am always shocked at what we are taught in schools and even at universities or colleges. Most of the stuff taught there is sheer nonsense, and you have to sift tons of trash to find a few pearls of wisdom and things that actually work in real life. Add to the cocktail the ingredient that most people don't even care about working smart in the first place and you will see the current status quo in the business.

I spent most of my life looking back at the time I felt I wasted in formal education, though in my latter stages of life I came to appreciate the soft skills that teachers had and stopped blaming them, since they were just tools of a flawed system... it was great being young and able to compete with a lot of more educated people, even lent me airs of certain arrogance. But if anything, it did teach me the value of working hard. I found it funny also that some teachers encouraged "smart working"... telling you what worked for them, thinking that it'd also help us in life. Again, not blaming them but experience sometimes is necessary. You do need to make mistakes to learn from them. Wisdom is something gained with age (and prerequisite mistakes). And for that, I will say that wisdom isn't a big commodity in crypto yet. A lot of people who think they've stumbled on the smarts by being involved with crypto yet lacking the wisdom to see that a lot of their good fortune... is fortune, not knowledge, not smarts, not skill.
These are two different things, and both have a great impact on how we view life. Both aims for common good and goal but differ in quality result. One can be very hardworking but it has one way of doing the job and  does the job without intention  about the result, while working smart aims for always having end result in view, adds value, and has many ways to do the job done. In a cryptoland where uncertainties and fears have taken over, let us work smartly not only for the team but for ourselves. After all, it's not how hard you work but by how much it gets done.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really gonna be dead? on: March 24, 2018, 12:41:54 PM
Blockchain does not care about the price of bitcoin or what the media say about it - it just works and every ten minutes it continues to create a new transaction block. Until it stops, bitcoin is alive. He just keeps moving forward, one block at a time.
Blockchain technology is one of the most amazing creations in the cyber world. It can provide a very high level of security due to the chaining of blocks. Bitcoin is secure due to the usage of this technology. Though bitcoin is decentralized but in my opinion, it has anonymity due to blockchain.

But bitcoin won’t die out. Many countries admire this digital currency.  Only those who are afraid of losing their control and power will be badmouthing bitcoin.
The fact that it has been banned in other countries and not accepted globally, it creates an impact that it somehow destroys its name and reputation. However, due to its dominance and undeniably amazing effect to community, economy, and the people who benefited it, it gives profit even in a shorter period of time, that's why still it's leading in the market and still being accepted in some other sectors. So, I think instead we think for its death, let's be positive to have it lasted longer and forever. Let's set aside our political differences and social preferences, and let kindness and persistency rise above all.
617  Economy / Economics / Re: Time is money, how you manage your money and time ? on: March 22, 2018, 09:25:16 AM
for now, I'm just trying my best to raise capital. maybe for the future i will form some business so i do not need much time to take care of business. well, for now, the time I spend more for business, than my own.
Time management is a very vital part in every aspect of any job and activities. I believe the best way to do is to have a specific plans, make a to do list, and be committed to prioritize your list and plans. In this way, it can bring and help you achieve your goal freely and confidently. On the other hand, spend mindfully, create a budget, save for the future, and do spending the basics.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: March 22, 2018, 08:37:35 AM
Before, Thailand was open to special currency and now Philippines. There will be more and more Southeast Asian countries starting to accept bitcoin. There are many people in Philippines. I believe this news will have a great impact on young people in Philippines. As long as Philippines keeps the opening of the special currency in the field of Commerce and services, there will be more and more followers of the digital money in this country.

Honestly, it's just a seminar, nothing more than that and was held only in one part of the country. It doesn't mean that Bitcoin was widely used/known in this country. Probably it's good that some people are educating others about Bitcoin, but as I've said it's not a live telecast, or nationwide.

Snip
Well, I guess Philippines is one of the countries which is open for possibilities and change. It is indeed a good news that our country is now accepting bitcoin. I hope that this will go on until we can already use bitcoin to do our transactions especially online.

As I've said it's not a big event that could change the economy of this country.
If this is true, then this must be a good news! If bitcoin will be widely accepted and embraced in the Philippines, I guess it can give both advantage and disadvantage. Considering the fact that centralization is still growing and is widely recognized. Still, the interest of general public would still be hard to divert. What is important here is educating every people what truly bitcoin is, how it works, and what it could give to the economy and community.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethreum the new king of crypto? on: March 21, 2018, 01:55:09 PM
Well is it now, I sees that ethereum has a great potential future, as a smart contract. It has the ability to compete with bitcoin even beating the price of bitcoin. Looking at the high transaction rate in blockchain now which I think is one of the reason the price of bitcoin is dropping as a result of investors not coming in.
Ethereum as the stiffest competitor of Bitcoin, has a great potential and has a brighter future, no wonder it can take over bitcoin in the nearer future. Though it may be seemingly hard, but ethereum also already started to be known in the global market and the global interest has grown.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the common challenges for bitcoin user? on: March 20, 2018, 04:32:46 PM
these days it seems to me like the biggest challenge that newcomers (which are a big part of bitcoin users) are facing is all this FUD that is flying around. imagine you are new and want to know more about bitcoin and you keep hearing all this misinformation online from news sites, even big ones like Forbes and CNBC and all you can see is doomsday!
unfortunately we can not do anything about it. they will keep on spreading their FUD as much as they can.
The most common challenges of a bitcoin user would be the volatility and unstability. On this case, persuading somebody to join and invest may be hard, it takes a lot of time to explain and change their misconceptions about bitcoin as a whole.
