Start trading ANS on Liqui Exchange right after ICO
IOU market is about trading coins purchased by traders in the ICO and that so far have no own network. Until recently there has been no possibility to trade such tokens (no network – deposit/withdrawl doesn’t work). But today everything has changed
Liqui team has found a solution: when a trader/investor participates in ICO indirectly but through our platform (all transaction IDs are of course provided to developers’ wallets) – we can credited the balance of the relevant coin to them once the crowdsale is over!
Therefore, trading begins hours after ICO and there’s no need to wait until coin developers release the network (which often takes months). Or you can just keep the tokens on the balance (like it happens in any ICO) and once the network has been released – witdraw them. When the network is ready – IOU flag disappears from the relevant pair and then this pair functions as an ordinary coin.
What’s the technical backdrop of all that?We haven’t managed to implement an application for participation in ICO inside the exchange yet, and we’re planning on doing that in several weeks.
Nonetheless, you can participate in the first IOU market today – and get your ANS tokens on your Liqui balance within 5 days.

2) Send a request to
support@liqui.io specifying the amount of your investment.
3) We collect applications every 24h and then transfer them to developers’ wallets in a single transaction.

And here’s why: investors, who understand that they can return to BTC any moment after ICO is over, feel fewer risks and therefore the total amount of crowdsale can be higher.
But we understand that developers are different and some may be unsatisfied or disapprove of trading IOU tokens. We are prepared for such a reaction but still believe that there are no violations on our part – we invest clients’ money in the coin in good faith and our clients get extra opportunities. That is why instead of panicking developers should put all their efforts toward support the price of their coin.
IOU tokens will be listed for trading regardless of whether developers want that or not – investments in their project are made and now they have certain obligations before the investors ("I owe you" is actually an abbreviation for IOU market) – to give coins to their investors.
