601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: September 26, 2017, 02:21:35 PM
hello, it really would be a great course for economics, finance faculties. In Romania, many years ago they were in the Western European states. I hope the governments will understand the new wave and adopt bitcoin
Bitcoin is very interesting to learn,  bitcoin is such as a solution to the world's troubled currency market's.  Global investors are preffer to choose something firmer than the promise of central bank because the troubled government's financial and credit will causing major problems for their currencies. So people should learning how bitcoin give the possitive impact and how to make it easier to accepted at all of countries of the worlds.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: September 25, 2017, 09:52:01 AM
An investment is always better because your money grows with time. But you should not invest 100% of your money, you should always save some of it and invest a part of it. It is always hard to take risk but you cannot gain something without a risk.
We better to invest our money in something that continues to grow in value every time like gold,  property or bitcoin.  If we only save money then its value will only decrease due to inflation,  I agree with your oppinion about not investing 100% of our money,  succesfull people usualy inveat some of their money on any type of investment so that if one fails they will not lose all of their money.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: September 25, 2017, 07:10:30 AM
I think billionaires reached their positions because they are not afraid of investing, one more thing is they are well aware of what is happening around them and in the world market, so I believe most of them, if not all, have already invested in bitcoin and atlcoins maybe way back at year 2010.
There are some billionarie's who invest in bitcoin, even the people loughed at the billionarie because of investing in bitcoin. But now the loughing people only can see the billionarie's success. You are right about investor That do not put all of their capital in bitcoin but they divide it into some kind of different cryptocurrency. One billionarie who invest in bitcoin is Mike Novogratz, he invest 10% of his money in cryptocurrency. Bitcoin and etherium is the best cryptocurrency for invest our money.
604  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all on: September 24, 2017, 09:41:29 AM
This is a serious discussion. I mean, after I've seen how bitcoin (and other cryptos as well) got dumped badly after an irrelevant law that makes ICOs illegal. I can only imagine now what would happen If more countries do the same thing and It could get worst by make itself bitcoin illegal. Whether we like to admit it or not, most of people would sell everything they have once its made illegal, some may continue to fight the central banking but the sad reality is that as soon as people start making profits, they will dump it and move on.
But you can see that the price of bitcoin is go up again,  the banning ICO actually does not directly affect bitcoin, but it affects the price of most altcoin. The government tries to stop cryptocurrencies in stage of grow it value at a crucial early stage before it becomes too valuable, has high liquidity and unable to control them.  In my oppinion is the banning ico in china could make the current crypto currency become more valuable because the investors only  can invest in the current crypto currency that make its price go up.
605  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: September 24, 2017, 08:01:03 AM

Today many countries accept bitcoin as a virtual currency, is it because bitcoin is so high that they think bitcoin can change the country's economy, or because the country has many bitcoin users already?
I think bitcoin can change slightly the economy of a specific country. Yes many people get money from bitcoin even they don't find a job because they can easily earn the money from bitcoin. But to change the economic status of a country it must have a lot of job, resources and investors.
Bitcoin can improve economy of all countries by help the enterprises in the country to expand their business internationally because bitcoin could help facilitate their work and payments globally. The benefits are no extra fees,  no limitation on the amount they can send,  and no middleman to hold up payment that mean reduce the cost. The economy of a country will improve if the business enterprises in that country are develops.
606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: September 24, 2017, 06:39:13 AM
Yes I believe bitcoin is used some for criminal activity. But I resist the bitcoin affecting the increase in criminality in some countries. I think bitcoin makes it easy for criminal activities without any casualties, like the example is Silk Road. The Silk Road site bridges buyers and sellers with no casualties killed in gang fighting.
Every currency have been used for criminality,  the law enforcement officer were panicking when bitcoin first emerged. They think that bitcoin is dangerous and made it harder for them to do their job. But now, FBI said that investigators can follow the money.  So, when law enforcement can handle bitcoin / understand how bitcoin works, then the crime rate can be reduced.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: September 24, 2017, 12:58:26 AM

according to my knowledge, many of the countries are thinking about the effects of bitcoin risks, it is the consideration of some countries that prohibit its circulation. in terms of properties that are not easy to set, and come to crime.
Most of people think that the anonimity of bitcoin is the most controvertial features of bitcoin because made it easy to use by outlaws for money loundering and other criminal purpose, probably the countries which not support bitcoin are because of this reason.  But I think it is just miss conception, the bitcoin transaction is transparent although there is no information link to the owner of bitcoin. Some countries fight this thing by instruct the country's cryptocurrency exchange operator to report identities of their client.
608  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 23, 2017, 11:21:59 AM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?
Money is ordinary thing but very extraordinary. It is very important for our live.  Money also has negative side,  everyone is competing to earn as much money, some people even do criminal to earn money. But money has important role for our life,  people drive their business using money that create welfare for their self and the other self. But money is not above  anything, there are a lot of thing that more important like happiness,  family and love.
609  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not just print dollars? on: September 23, 2017, 08:46:01 AM
While it is a good point, you simply cannot print off your debt. Printing a lot of money creates inflation, and if there's one thing you don't want as a country, it is inflation. This has happened to many countries before. Huge debt, print money, huge inflation problem. You really don't want this, really.
This is how the government manipulate their fiat by print it. Before we use fiat, people use gold as currency but it is not practically to carry. Then people agree to use banknote ( paper money)  as the representation of gold. So the amount of fiat that can be printing must be the same as the amount of gold. If government just print dollar as many as they want it will dangerous for the economy of the country.
610  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: September 23, 2017, 07:33:07 AM
Of course not. Bitcoin is a commodity and not a currency. How would a commodity replace a currency? Do you think that I'm going to start going into the stores and using pork bellies to pay for my purchases?
Bitcoin is a currency,  the purpose of creating bitcoin is  to make it into as currency.  You even can read there is a word coin in its name. We can use it to purchase something in internet or store, what you need is find the place that accept it. Although the liquidity of bitcoin is still low but the bitcoin adoption is still growing. Bitcoin has a chance to replace dollar but not in a short time.
611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: September 23, 2017, 04:39:32 AM
I have come to realize in recent time that holding bitcoin in ones wallet is more profitable and a little bit risk free as compared to trading altcoin or what do you think ?
It is depend on you, if you have good skill in trading that can make you get a lot of profit,  so trading is better. There are a lot of traders and mainstream finance that interested to the rise of all cryptocurreny,  but when they get into the cryptocurrency world for the first time,  they will choose bitcoin, because it has the biggest brand name and most of liquidity. The market cap of bitcoin is the biggest among of all cryptocurrency, it give the investor sense of security to the investors.
612  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: September 22, 2017, 04:20:56 PM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
I think no,  the transaction of bitcoin is transparent and publicly viewable.  So people can know where the money flowing. Although there is anonimity in bitcoin but people can see that someone is sending an amountbof bitcoin to someone else, but there is no information linking the transaction to anyone. So if we know who was the user of the address, we can supervise it.
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: September 22, 2017, 03:37:15 PM
I was just wondering that is it possible to earn steady income without going 8-5 hours regular office job.. I mean you got some bitcoin in your wallet .. are you the enough for living ?

another option is to regularly working on Bitcoin related trading/activites .. that earn you enough amt of monthly income ..

what's your opinion

Note: this is not for poor fellow who just discovered bitcoin or altcoins
I think the best is doing both,  keep doing your job in regular office job.  I have a job in real life just ike you.  You can earn bitcoin after you go home I think there is a lot of time to do that.  Get another source of income bitcoin as many as you can but don't leave your job except you get another job with bigger salary.
614  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: September 22, 2017, 08:21:55 AM
Many people are now curious to know what bitcoin is, whereas once bitcoin was just underestimated, now upside down many people stop working instead they prefer to focus on bitcoin

Is this the impact of rising bitcoin prices?

yeah this is the impact of it many people are not aware what bitcoin is, but now as of today the bitcoin is almost 6000$ people now are asking what bitcoin is , that is the effect of the price of bitcoin in people
The growing price of bitcoin has caught people atention. But the reason why it is happen is because the growing adoption and institutional investors interest. Probably the agreement on mechanism  to speed up transactions and regulatory steps that will help bitcoin broaden its reach are also the factors of increase in bitcoin prices.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: September 22, 2017, 06:43:30 AM
We have bitcoin instead of cash because its easy to use and trusted currency. Bitcoin has a value and profitable, there is opportunity in bitcoin you can invest and trade in bitcoin. Having bitcoin instead of cash is faster payments than cash, you can transfer money anywhere on the internet and free no fees. The price of bitcoin is continue to rise and gives profit to the investors. Having bitcoin instead of cash is best in investment and the price of bitcoin is increasing.
Yes,  by using bitcoin, we will be protected from fraud because bitcoin cannot be  counterfeited, unlike cash,  or reserved arbitraly by sender,  as with credit card charge back. And also using bitcoin is better than using cash because government can manipulate their local fiat because but no government can do the same thing to bitcoin.
616  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: September 22, 2017, 04:22:01 AM
Bitcoin is very power nowadays because of its value high value. They are using bitcoin as a pay in every buy and sell transactions. And soon, bitcoin can be use worldwide
As a currency, bitcoin is appropriated for this century. Since bitcoin is not bound by interest rate and charge of any country,  therefore it can be used at all international level without any problem, thats how bitcoin recognized at universal levels.  The bitcoin characteristic in it self is better than current fiat,  the decentralization of bitcoin makes it is free all government oversight, the bitcoin economy is monitored by a peer to peer  in internet protocol and bitcoin is managed by its network, not any one central authority. All features of bitcoin make it has power. .
617  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: September 21, 2017, 02:26:38 AM
many of my friends did not work but a lot of money away was great when compared, to me that is still working in the factory, I was confused from where producer obtained from bitcoin?
Its a big YES bitcoin is like a job or by using this yuo can become rich like others if you collect a lot of coins  Wink like my friend he stop his job to focus in bitcoim becuase he have a lot of btc and he knows that bitcoin can givec to him a goodlife.
It is fine to leave the real job if the income in bitcoin is bigger. Some people who do not know about bitcoin will feel so frightening to get in bitcoin world. Do not forget that the value of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency can go up and go down substantially, so do not be panic or stress if the price of bitcoin has fall because the price will rise again. there is limited amount of bitcoin in this world, as new bitcoin is mined, there is less and less bitcoin left and it becomes harder and more expensive to get and mine.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: September 20, 2017, 10:19:36 PM
Bitcoin is already an international currency. Only it can not be used everywhere because of the fact that in many countries it is simply forbidden or there are no places where it is possible to pay off with it.
Yes bitcoin is already become an international currency but not the main international currency. Bitcoin still faces some challenges and obstacles,  One of which is volatility. Regarding the issue of volatility this is one of properties of the new currency with relatively low liquidity. As this currency gets more and more accepted, it is expected that wild price movements will less frequently happen. But the callenges can be overcome.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: September 20, 2017, 10:03:49 AM
I practically have account in all the online wallets but I don't use them and its because of the conflicting information on the forum that one have to read on the safest one to use. I use blockchain mostly because of its flexibility why I also use Electrum for long term savings and basically its due to August 1 need to coins safe.
Use different online wallet is good to determine which online wallet is the best one.  Blockchain wallet is very good in flexibility and transparency in showing a transaction on bitcoin.  In this wallet we can see the hours,  date,  month,  year,  a transaction on the bitcoin is done.  There is good feature in this wallet namely quick send, by using this feature we can send bitcoin without having to set the amount of fee. I'll keep using this wallet for store small amount of bitcoin no matter what.
620  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: September 20, 2017, 04:32:41 AM
If something like this happened in my country the bank would have to pay you more than the amount they seized.Well it depends upon which country it is and what kind of bank it is. But its so sad to hear this. All your hard earned money gone maybe thats the worse thing that I heard in the whole day.
Is there no scope of that money coming back ?
I wish you get all your money back its not easy to save.
Yes,  each country have their own bank regulators. We still need bank, although bank is not perfect for storing money.  Bank is such as another business that looking for profit.  Bank use their investors money for lending or anything else.  The peak of the banking crisis in 2008-2009, over a dozens banks failed with asset of over $5 billion, in terms of asset size the collapse of First NBC bank is one of the biggest failures at that time.  First NBC bank experienced a combination of bad timming and aggresive lending.  Save money in form of bitcoin in hardware wallet is the best way to save money.
