601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: October 20, 2019, 11:23:12 PM
So far this year , a lot of scams have occurred in the crypto sphere ranging from projects scamming investors and as well as projects not paying hunters for their works.

What do you think can be done to counter this ill manner behaviors that has been painting cryptocurency bad?

i think the only counter is knowledge
as once you become knowledgeable about cryptocurrencies and the current technologies and what can and can't be currently done
you never fall for scams, they all become super ovbious.
People just need to gain more knowledge in crypto, and NEVER invest in something you dont fully understand

Totally agree with this. With a sufficient knowlege how this and that workout we may be able to avoid scams project with a necessary means. Although it is hard not to fall on their traps. Scams projects are way too promising, which new ones would easily bite with these schemas. Besides, if there are still people who keeps falling on their traps, I guess, there will be no ending for those fraud projects.

To fight scams you have to be less greedy and spend more time researching projects. Greedy people are taken advantage of in real life and in the Internet.

As well as this. Never ever let greediness over control yourself. When both ends commits with this attitude. Even an enough knowledge would mean nothing. Because greed is the very root on why fraud projects works.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Cryptocurrencies Predicted to Dominate the Market in 2020 on: October 20, 2019, 10:19:55 PM
Well!! As you all know currently crypto is down, cryptocurrencies are not performing as expected. Moreover, various crypto influencers like Mcafee and others predicted particular coins as per their potential in the crypto market.

2020 is near.. knowing the top 10 cryptocurrencies in 2020 is very important which will benefit the traders to overcome problems.

What do you think?
Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum are still in there. As expected to the major one. And there are new, how I wonder how could they possibly be grinding with today's market.

As I see Bitcoin will be dominating the market this year. As financial crisis are now happening in different countries. Troubles like this will be a big opportunity for crypto community to be absorb by those who are in crisis as we seen to Venezuela. Government starts to recognize the potentiality of crypto to help the community somehow about the crisis. Argentina as well.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic situation around the world and Bitcoin on: October 20, 2019, 05:47:16 PM
Do you think this Economic situation will push More People into Bitcoin?
Venezuela economy situation made the government start accepting bitcoin. So, yes! It could be Venezuela government are starting to recognize bitcoin's potential to lift and lessen the economic crisis happening around Venezuela. Truly bitcoin could be a tight rope for opening a new path towards economic growth which blindedly opposing by developed, and partially developes countries.

China USA  trading?  Do you think that has impact too?
China stand point is basically a wall. Government were not even changing decision, they totally opposed bitcoin.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A million altcoins on: October 20, 2019, 04:55:09 PM
I seriously doubt there is a decent altcoin. Any reason that someone will provide in order to follow and buy into a project, is looking like advertisement that has no foundation.
I can't find anything solid that makes me want to follow an altcoin. Between 30,000 cryptocurrencies I don't see something that will surprise and evolve into a major player.
if the old one is still functioning properly and produces why you have to gamble for new altcoin. if you really want to invest in altcoin, you have to search carefully if you are lucky you will find diamonds in a garbage heap.

Totally agree with this. Why go farther if the existing one could still give you a sufficient benefits. You don't have to look something solid about altcoin as long as you can get the benefit you are looking for it is good.

Bet you have high standards there?

Besides altcoin doesn't even have the ability that could surprise as long as Bitcoin still dominates the market. Invest and then if it grows that's good, it may be a little but it could be enough for a while 'cause bull run ain't in the scene yet neither been exposing signs. Be cool, and do your thing.
605  Economy / Economics / Re: First Bitcoin ATM in Venezuela on: October 20, 2019, 04:13:07 PM
https://blockmanity.com/news/bitcoin/venezuela-to-get-its-first-bitcoin-atm/

CryptoBuyer, a cryptocurrency ATM manufacturer, is planning to install the countries first Bitcoin ATM. The news was announced by the company’s CEO Jorge Farias on a Union Radio podcast. The ATM will be installed in Caracas and will be opened in the next two weeks.

“We are going to install the first cryptocurrency ATM in Venezuela, in the course of the next two weeks (…), we already have the equipment physically installed in Venezuela, in Caracas and they are in their final tests and we will be announcing them in social networks “, Jorge Farias said.

This must be a good story for venenzuela citizens and must be a catalyst for further economic growth. Due to economic crisis, political tensions happening in Venezuela accepting cryptocurrency will surely help citizens be stable somehow since it is tough to even earn a half decent income. Relying on crypto currency isn't a bad idea though investors in Venezuela might encounter more financial drought due to market fluctuations but what could be a good option rather than drowning in so much debt.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What opportunities Cryptocurrencies have created since it becomes very popular on: October 19, 2019, 07:23:35 AM
We're talking about jobs, livelihood and fulfilled dreams What opportunities Cryptocurrencies have created since it becomes very popular
in my case, it changes my life I made a job out of Cryptocurrency by just giving my opinion and doing stuff from other people, so how about you.

It took my time. It did changed my way of life 'cause way back then I used to be away from my cellphone, and computer I do read book and watch some movies a lot, and then go to school if I have classes. But as crypto been introduced to me, and I somehow made some cash out of it. I let myself to have time with this, and often let go of what I have always been doing back then. On the other hand, it as well made me stand on my own feet financially talking.
607  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: October 19, 2019, 06:17:11 AM
Would things turn around for good  if underdeveloped countries start to add value to their natural resources themselves without selling to the countries with good economy?

Political crisis usually was the reason why underdeveloped countries can't even step forward. The option to cope a little up was to sell natural resources as you stated. Besides, developed countries just keep on progressing as it dominates the underdeveloped side that as well made an another burden for chance to advance as well. What must be solve is the political crisis and an individual who would choose their own country product than the foreign one. But it seems it would take a long time for the underdeveloped countries to solve unless they have a good political system.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your crypto before death? on: October 19, 2019, 04:00:12 AM
Which is why, I'm eager to know which are the best practices to preserve my cryptocurrency in case I die in the future? Any recommendations or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
There's nothing better than to let someone know your stuff. It might be risky 'cause they may possibly spend your crypto without you knowing it. But the thing is if you're not in your capacity to be able to spend it anymore, at least there is somebody close to you who will be able to manage so that your efforts just to obtain such amount won't just go to waste. Nothing's wrong on letting someone know your thing. Besides, you have your own decision to choose who's worthy of receiving it.
609  Economy / Economics / Re: Millennial generation are screwed! on: October 18, 2019, 11:27:02 PM
First they spend more time on video games than any other generation, an average gen millennial spend 8 hours on games everyday!
It maybe way too long but video games is one of biggest sports everyone are waiting for. Major events about e-sports are happening around the globe, and it will soon be a part of Olympics near 2020. That's why spending too many time playing isn't bad 'cause video games has something to do with the individual playing.

They deep on student loan
This has something to do with their personal life. Can't assumed though generally speaking. In addition, this happens wayback then as well. Studying is to survive you gotta need to do what must be done for you to graduate. Loan is a part of being a student specially if you're not wealthy to survive the entire year without worrying financially.

Now they spend more money on bitcoin than all generation!
How so sure? Is there any research, statistics out there?
Quote
Can crypto make millennial more screwed or otherwise?
Definitely no, crypto has nothing to with their own mistakes. They are their own responsibility.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The top 5 countries are ‘paradise’ for cryptocurrencies on: October 18, 2019, 04:48:04 PM
Switzerland as highlighted in this link https://cointopper.com/news/list-of-top-cryptocurrency-and-ico-supportive-countries-in-the-world . Most cryptocurrency friendly in the world as stated. Even in the third world country cryptocurrency paradise exist like in the Philippines . There are too many out there too mention. Just wondering why those countries who banned bitcoin in their community doesn't even dare to try. Bitcoin isn't bad though nor good but indeed worth using even though risky.
611  Economy / Economics / Re: The 2nd generation of banking is going digital on: October 18, 2019, 08:49:28 AM
As technology progress everything seem to improved as well. A cashless living is in the process towards universal usage. However, those who grew up away from technological may found out such thing difficult to adopt, and would stick to traditional cycle in a specific case those who live away from urban places and those are in aged. It is in the talk that Digital banking security aren't safe as Traditional banking, well, in reality Digital Banking did the same measurements on what Traditional Banking could offer. The problem arise within the user itself. It is in the end of banking to protect client's informations and security. On the other hand, digital banking returns what has been lost if fault is in their end.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Camouflage bounty manager? on: October 18, 2019, 05:25:20 AM
is it possible that the prize manager and the entire project crew including the developer, they work together and deliberately promote fraudulent projects?

I see how easy they are to erase red trust and promote fraudulent projects repeatedly?
Is this what is called a camouflage manager?

Fraud bounty managers appear around here. A project without a trust worthy manager couldn't gather enough advertiser here. Usually, specially those who are in this community for a long time and experienced different projects with different managers tend to be strict on choosing what project and who's manager they will be working with.

It is sad to know that who must be our partner in the long run is one of the reason of us being the victim. Nevertheless, trusted bounty manager is one of the key for a successful project.
613  Economy / Economics / Re: China cracking down on bitcoin again on: October 18, 2019, 03:44:13 AM
Chinese government is very serious in cracking down Bitcoin, I think they will never change their stance over this asset...
Simply speaking the communist party is afraid of bitcoin and other independent means of exchange. Those can have unnecessary influence on peoples views or ideology and as such are not welcomed. Who needs billions of independent, smart and knowledgable citizens rather then obedient workers?

As expected to China. China's government always want a full control to everything like what happened to Huawei company and America. They are afraid of losing something that is very difficult to recover. Besides if bitcoin arise in their country, it would be something out of their hand, and regulations is not even enough. In addition some ICOs are fraud, and unregulated and majority of Chinese are business minded thus, losing funds are something that matters the most to Chinese. That's why they banned Bitcoin in their country.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are excited everytime we see a new coin without knowing it first on: October 17, 2019, 10:52:39 PM
I think we should understand that everything are not perfect and we should be willing to move on after it , instead of wasting time and hate over the project this should be what we should do

New coin or new token means new opportunity, new possibilities. People are just excited to embrace it, isn't it a transparency affection to crypto community? They already knew the idea of cryptocurrency that it was not perfect it is just captivating to know that there are new coins 'cause with those new coin comes with new may be big or may be small opportunity, and bitcoin enthusiasts are just looking out for such opportunity to grab it.

What made people to have a good portfolio was there attitude to seek new possibilities. They are diversing themselves with the old one, and trying out with the new one. It might be way too risky since it is new but it is worth experiencing than not.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: October 17, 2019, 09:16:02 PM

It often appear to me like i do not have the luck when it comes to trading.

Neither of the two methods were good nor perfect for you to fit in. It is still all depend right there in your willingness to risk, and persistence to make further growth to your investments.

If you want to maximize your profit from a day to day basis, although it takes extensize effort, you better go with trading. You might be able to recover what you lost for a long period of time. On the other hand, holding is good if the token holds a better future which at least could be done with an effort through researching.

Keep that in mind do not overexpose yourself to a single opportunity, making yourself more diverse could help you alleviate potential risks in the future.
616  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: People Empowerment on: October 17, 2019, 04:26:25 PM

I personally believe that one of the big reasons why we have to be a part of the Bitcoin bandwagon is that this is a tool for people empowerment and that can means we are getting back the power that should have been in our hands long time ago.

Unfortunately world wide adoption of using bitcoin would just lead to improper use of it. Although it carries no objective nor rules. As being said, bitcoin is decentralized, government wouldn't buy a thing they cannot even control, regulation isn't enough to standardized not even the individual who use it because in the end it'll just lead to massive chaous.

Biggest obstacle is that bitcoin would affect country's economy flow by just an instant. Bitcoin needed to be pretty more stable, and intact to as like country's currency, which in fact cannot. With that no one wants to be left behind not even a single step at least, that's why government couldn't agree more but to either banned or limit on what Bitcoin could, and people could do.
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stacking cryptocurrencies with Interest on: October 17, 2019, 02:34:34 PM
Coinmarketcap has recently published a page where they track the interest rates from various cryptocurrencies on different platforms. The highest Bitcoin APR is now 6.20% at BlockFi. Looks like BNB and stable coins have even 10% APRs. I wonder what are these platforms doing with your crypto to offer such high interest rates..

My question to the community is how much you trust these platforms to hold your crypto safe and don't scam away? Is the 4-6% annual interest rate worth the risk for you?

4% to 6% of annual interest is quite big for third world country. Usually interest in third world country offers lower than 4% depending on how big the balance of investor is. Non-investor or people who have a bit idea in investing thing would find those worthy specially those people who lives in third world country. On the other hand, persons who made investing as an activity cycle will find out those platforms not worthy at all, what matters to them is the security of the money in the end 'cause investment purposes came from the desire of harvesting the interest after the long run.

In the end, risks attached right behind of every investment but risks with those platforms weighted more than the risk of what the bank has.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Money Losing Worth, Bitcoin and Gold Getting Important on: October 17, 2019, 01:31:55 PM
If you see, we might be heading towards a global recession. Trade war has lead to economic slow down in many countries. If that's the case people are likely to shift towards a safe investment asset which won't be much affected by the slowdown in economy. Gold has always been a safest option in such situations.

Due to sudden changes bitcoin and cryptocurrencies hasn't yet been a sufficient a so-called safe investment like gold. Nevertheless, cryptocurrency got to be an option for an abrupt growth of investment. Lowkey investor are all looking for an opportunity of bull-run before investing.

Besides fiat money is the place for commoner's investment although it has small interest but it has a minimum balance requirement for everyone to get the interest. Slowly, if bitcoin or the whole cryptocurrency market got intact it would definitely be for everyone's investment.
619  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mining o Trading? on: October 16, 2019, 11:57:42 PM
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What needs to happen in order for bitcoin to replace gold on: October 16, 2019, 11:27:20 PM
To be in solid form to? LOL, just kidding. I mean, bitcoin will never replaced gold as a whole even bitcoin will receive every modification it needed. If you are talking about as a form of investment only, then yes, those you have mentioned can be the ways. But if you are talking about replacing gold as a whole, then no, it would never replaced gold. Gold has different important purposes other than form pf investment like it is used in medicinal equipments,  and etc, and on these purposes clearly bitcoin can replaced gold.
