Although there is an increase in number of players at these casinos, I think that the overall revenue has dropped in the last few months, since people are less willing to spend money since they might been laid off at work or have poor job security.

What I know is the opposite, I read somewhere that the revenue of crypto casinos have increase since gamblers are not anymore allowed to gamble in a land based casino, so they have no option but to gamble online and the situation also helped for the crypto casinos to be introduce to them.

Las Vegas has been opened up, well partly and I think there are still loads of people that know nothing of crypto and play in a local casino. While I do think that more gamblers have joined crypto gambling, I think its just a case of variance that the yolo has been hit by. A whale can come in, get lucky, come back and be lucky again... then come back and lose it all...
Small time gamblers will build up the BR again, but of course it will take a lot longer...

603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Open discussion: Won 171 BTC and settled for 48 BTC on: July 08, 2020, 01:30:06 PM
This goes to show that casino's has no really intention of paying users and violates the compromise to pay in full if player manage to win huge amount to a legitimate gambling session. I think they've underestimated gamblers in the ability to strategize, they've probably thought they can milk those compulsive gamblers with difficult odds of winning.

In these the player probably thought that settling is the best option than to not get paid. I guess this is one of the disadvantage of unregulated casino and gambler operators.

171btc is huge money though.

They had 2 choices:

1- Go bankrupt and pay the winner in full
2- Make a deal

If the 2 parties are happy with the outcome, I can't really blame the casino for this.

Read post above or 2 above... He was a known Scammer.

Hi guys,

Unfortunately the main thread got closed before we got our long reply together, but we've left a reply on the Reputation area thread.

Please have a look as there was never a settlement.

Cheers,
Karl

Thanks for opening an open discussion Royse777.

I was following the thread and there was a lot of question marks left by OP.
First he was very excited and scared he wouldn't get the prize, then he went silent and deleted all of the posts...

He lost alot of the money and deleted all of the posts, good to have them archived.

Interesting to see what and if anyone from Bitcasino opens up and clears out out some of the questions.
605  Economy / Gambling / Re: edit settlement agreed on: July 08, 2020, 11:46:34 AM

Of course I can also understand bitcasino!
They want to make 100% sure this was a legitimate win and there was a bug used or such...
Its a huge amount and Im pretty sure they will pay out, but want to make sure everything was working at the time and there was no glitch used....

Im pretty sure the lock is a security measure!
608  Local / Treffen / Re: German Bitcoin Week in Frankfurt am Main on: July 08, 2020, 07:19:48 AM
Generell hört sich da Ganze ja ziemlich gut an!
Und auch nicht allzuweit von mir weg.
Die Frage die ich mir stelle ist jedoch mit Corona... wird es stattfinden können, laufen alle mit Maske rum etc.?
609  Economy / Gambling / Re: URGENT. just won 171 btc (5700x bet) on bitcasino.io and now im locked out on: July 08, 2020, 06:28:27 AM
I'm not really sure why they would lock the users account? He may play while waiting to be paid and lose some back.

Hopefully the user gets paid if it was a legit win, but if the casino comes back with some claim against the user they better post proof. Otherwise i see DT such as myself going on a tagging spree against them and their other site.

Im pretty sure the site would be done for after a fiasco of not paying a user for a win.
If it is a legitimate win, he should be paid.
No excuses!

613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 07, 2020, 11:10:30 AM
Was he hoping for an offer from his "former" Team? Cheesy

lol Grin Dude is 33 years old and he should be happy to still have some good years in 2. Bundesliga Grin But that goal was pretty nice indeed, 99% of high paid forwards fail to put it in the net like that. A real circus shot. He must feel really bad, because of all the things Heidenheim didn't want to happen, an early Werder goal was probably #1. The game would/could have gone in a complete different direction, if Theuerkauf just would have thought like a forward being very keen to score a fantastic goal and instead kicking the ball into the stands, while trying to go for glory.

lol Cheesy I agree on the shot, it was nice but sadly into the wrong net...

his Face on this pic says alot...

Im pretty sure, Heidenheim will have a good year in the 2. Bundesliga. I wouldn't call the 2nd Bundesliga terrible, there are some good teams there to make any Bundesliga Team fight for the win...
We will see if Werder can catch themselves and hopefully play a better season then this one
614  Economy / Gambling / Re: URGENT. just won 171 btc (5700x bet) on bitcasino.io and now im locked out on: July 07, 2020, 11:03:28 AM
I can't say congratulations for OP until this issue is not resolve hopefully Bitcasino will return back your account first and pay what you win, that's a extreme luck so I assume you deserve to get what you win this time. Anyways good luck and don't sit around to wait for the response message them time to time so that you will get an answer, it's a big amount and extend a effort so that you will get compensated.

Bitcasino responded to the tread in a bit over 30 Minutes so they arent ignoring the win at all.
Im pretty sure the account got locked as a security measure because the win amount was so huge...

He already was sent info to do a KYC so its moving pretty fast.

If they werent going to pay out they would for sure ignore this thread and not respond and try to take care of the matter so quickly.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 07, 2020, 10:52:50 AM
The funny thing is, that the guy who shot the goal was a former Werder player  Grin He was playing some years in the youth of Werder Bremen.

Makes the whole thing even more curious!
Was he hoping for an offer from his "former" Team? Cheesy
616  Economy / Gambling / Re: URGENT. just won 171 btc (5700x bet) on bitcasino.io and now im locked out on: July 07, 2020, 10:35:36 AM
KYC checks are usually done whenever users win big, abnormal errors etc and this is usually specified in their T&C. I wouldn't worry about it since submitting KYC isn't a big deal especially when you win such humongous amounts.

I doubt anyone would hesistate doing a KYC for an amount that huge...
But yes, kind of makes sense to do one, since it is a significant amount!
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 07, 2020, 10:33:21 AM
Well done for Werder they managed to stay on the Bundesliga division.
It was the best thing to happen as Werder is a historical team that needs to stay in the first division. I hope they are going to have better luck next season and perform better.

Werder is definately a historic team, they haven't been demoted in 40 years...

At the beginning of the season I didn't see them fighting to stay in the first Bundesliga... they almost got to stay in 1st Bundesliga without having to score a goal themselves... although I must stay that own goal by Heidenheim was very curious and weird...

First of all, Congrats on the win! Thats a life changing amount!

What wonders me is why a KYC check is done here?

620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FOX prepared to add virtual fans and crowd noise to NFL broadcasts on: July 05, 2020, 06:05:49 PM
Yeah, You're right, the 21st-century version of virtual fans looks fantastic and have almost the same atmosphere with the real fans.  I think this pandemic has brought us something that we don't use to see every day including this one. people always come with some fantastic ideas of alternatives regardless of what we are facing today. this is the good time to try these kind of stuff and I think this would work like some real ones.

Wow, this actually doesnt look that bad! Of course they cant replace real fans, that sometimes do unexpected things when being filmed but I think that would at least make us feel more comfortable watching sports.
