We all know the ICO market is kinda dead right now. Not many good projects are out there. And if there is indeed a good project there is the fear it won't go well considering how the 2018 was for the ICO's. The last ICO I invested was 11 months ago and I don't even to get started on how it went and all the problems there are even now. But regardless that, I've seen the hype shift from ICO to STO. Seems that S in STO is really giving security to the investors.
STO in the other hand is not another utility token (most of them have no utility at all), but actually gives you shares on the company and you have some return on your investment just in e few months. Obviously not the whole investment but you can see smth entering your wallet.
My question is: Will 2019 be the year of STO?
Most probably 2020 and 2021 will become years of a new STO hype. Don't expect any miracle during the bear market while everything is bleeding. In a best case scenario we'll see some really popular STO project at the end of 2019 and it will become a start of STO era. seems like that, lately the STO project is very popular and interesting. I hope that in the future the STO project will be even better. this is a good start for the STO project to be developed. |

I know it might be a bad idea asking for advice on here because people will try to pump their bags, but I am hoping there are a couple of coins that stand out from the rubbish that will be suggested  I Already invested 600$ split even between Cardano Ontology Stellar Lumens Vechain but I want to invest another 600$ in two more coins to expand my portfolio so would really appreciate it if you can give some suggestions of good picks. The poll is with the coins I am considering right now but I know some might bring bigger profits than others. Thanks in advance ! My advice is that you better believe in the coins that you will invest rather than choosing the advice given from this forum. because everyone's opinions must be different, and this will only make you confused. for sure you have to choose coins that are in the top 10 in the market, because I think the coin already has a large volume and a clear concept in the future. |

Itīs completely clear that all Coins/Tokens will be valued zero. Why?
1) Because they are not securities. You donīt own any shares of the companies. You don`t get any dividends from their gains in the future (if any of them has the capability to earn FIAT money in the future).
2) ICO ... Initial Coin Offering, itīs just an other form of crowd funding. Whatīs the main problem with this approach? You finance the companies business operations. They must sell their tokens to sustain running their business. Or do you think they earn money other than in cryptocurrency? No, they donīt. It will last until all tokens are sold, then this companies are down and out. Simple. You sit on worthless tokens. Scams are just the rapid version of this process. Would ever a venture capital company invest FIAT into their business? Zero price is inevitable.
3) Point 1 and 2 are not clear for many users here ... Itīs a big pump and dump scheme. Greater fools theory, not more not less.
Now I want to hear your opinions. We donīt talk about Bitcoin here, just about altcoins.
Yes, I know, you say that because the altcoin prices in the market are decreasing. this is only a matter of market conditions, if it is time for sure prices will recover. and I don't think all altcoins that use ICO will end zero. |

Devs should stop blaming bounty hunters for dumping ,they work hard to promote your projects and they have every right to do what they like with the tokens if this is really what you don't want then
Don't pay bounty hunters in your tokens ,pay them in USD ,USDC or ETHEREUM to avoid dumping your tokens and that will have positive impact on your tokens ,dumping will always happen and if the project is a strong one then it will quickly recover
those who throw away must have certain reasons, this might be done for fear of losing the price of their tokens. I know it's good to do, but it doesn't have to be all thrown away. there are times when waiting until the price really matches what was expected before. trading requires a good technical method, if the token has good development potential in the future, then hold on. |
