I don't understand! Why?
Someone on BF bought 100 shares at 0.05, he could've bought 1666 with those 5 bitcoins...
That person is remedial. Simple as that. Well, I'm mind blown... That guy payed .05 but we can see quite a few amount of orders above .003... I don't know, this is my second IPO, all new to me! Those who payed more than .003 were most likely afraid, that they won't get shares at IPO price. So they took a gamble an bid more. 0.05.... idk i'd call it a donation I understand that, but paying a few satoshis higher is one thing, 16x IPO price, or the other one who bought 5 shares at 0.031 each, this stuff is beyond my comprehension... Not a FUDster, but this was a mammoth sized IPO. It was never going to be a quick flip for anyone. I think that as we see the massive collapse of these faux mining securities (happening at this very moment), we'll see more investment in operations like this one, where transparency is there and it operates more like a legitimate business.
The IPO will eventually sell out, it just won't be today or tomorrow. I think most holders are genuine long term holders looking to make a fortune off of the potential of this stock.
Signs of significant progress over the next month and a half wouldn't hurt sales either.
Just Dice has something like 55k coins invested and it's just another dice type casino, NEOBEE is as legit as something can be, 24k coins don't seem to be such a high amount to gather.

Wait a minute, people who bid more than 0.003 actually pay their bidding price?
Absolutely. I don't understand! Why? Someone on BF bought 100 shares at 0.05, he could've bought 1666 with those 5 bitcoins...

I get that the higher bids are going to be filled first but at what point are those below IPO going to be filled? First in first out? If there are no bids for the total amount of shares at IPO or higher it means that those below get filled then?
Sometimes I fear for the average Bitcoin Securities investor.
Sometimes?

Yeah, two hours is less than a couple days, so my statement is technically correct.
Haha, true!

Good idea + transparency + communication = good Bitcoin security
This, plus ROI. The new offering NEOBEE is opening up on a bunch of exchanges within the next couple days, they are an interesting developement (basically making a bitcoin based bank).
Actually in about: Timer removed. End time: 2013-09-20+17:00:00UTC

well, i tried making a bitfunder account just now in hopes of getting in the ipo.. and so far i'm not liking it.
-the green "FREE Sign-Up!" button in the top right corner seems to be a dead link -the charts cause my browser (firefox on unbuntu) to horribly lag and rarely even work at all, sometimes freezing the whole browser. -after finding my way to the registration menu and signing up, the email-verification never shows up in my inbox..
imo this website still isn't ready for public release. these shares are distributed very poorly. more should be placed on btc-tc.
You have two other exchanges where you can buy these shares, no need to be crying here about your inability to use a simple website.

Bumpity. Want some feature not present in the faucet? Post here and I'll look at what I can do.
Letting the faucet open and when time comes to make a new dispense a bip sounds. What do you think? I don't really get what you are saying. Could you explain in more detail? Oh sorry, I was really sleepy when wrote that... Keeping a browser page open with the faucet, people make a dispense request, a timer starts counting down when hits zero a sound is made to alert a new dispense can be requested. I'll think it through how should it be done and I might implement it unless other people won't like it. With an on/off option...

Depends how much you need the coins. Yes, someone is dumping, but I don't see an obvious reason why. As to the general price decline over the last week or two, I put it down to (a) bored traders, with no real ActM news expected for a while, (b) day traders stepping away, perhaps burned by their Labcoin experiences and (c) people removing funds in anticipation of the Neo Bee IPO.
Yap, that's a good possibility!

Works fine here. WTF happened while I was asleep? Labcoin and ActMining worth peanuts now!!!
