please do more on btctc

If you were not paying attention, the number on each exchange is determined by the number of shares bid on each exchange. So if you want more shares to be put on btct, all you have to do is put up more bids on btct. The power is in your hands (if you have the money).

Quote
yeah, someone still has to explain me why bitfunder is so popular, I really don't get it
I don't get neither. Havelock and BTCT are way more comfortable to trade on. ASICMINER for example has twice as many shares on BTCT than on BitFunder.
Must be the pass through thing. But it is stupid since all shares are equal and TAT is managing them all.

Why anyone is placing bids higher than IPO price right now is beyond my comprehension. Do they think that 6,000,000 shares are going to be bought up out of nowhere in the next hour? Sometimes I fear for the average Bitcoin Securities investor.

I get that the higher bids are going to be filled first but at what point are those below IPO going to be filled? First in first out? If there are no bids for the total amount of shares at IPO or higher it means that those below get filled then?

The issuer has set the IPVO price of 0.003. So unless you find an investor who's willing to sell shares at below IPVO, I don't think those orders will be filled unless the price drops below IPVO price from open trading.

Could happen - someone commits BTC hoping for short term gain, price doesn't go anywhere for a couple of weeks so he sells. Someone picks up his shares at < IPO.

Anyone know how the shares will be divided amongst exchanges? Looks like buttfunder has the highest share count in bids

At the time of the IPO starting, TAT will look at each of the three exchanges and place shares proportional to the number bid at or above IPO price on each exchange. It looks like we are nowhere near overbidding for this, so he will just fill all the bids for the IPO price on each of the three exchanges. After that, if I understand correctly, he will place some number of shares on each exchange (like 100,000 or something) at the IPO price. As the shares are sold on each exchange, he will replenish the ask until the total number of bitcoins desired is raised or we get to the end of the IPO.

you should really read what the asset issuer has said in this thread already.

Sorry didn't see that. Thanks for helping!
