One correction, ''Bitcoin mjenjacnica'' don't have crypto exchange office in Zagreb, it's from another company, my mistake, sorry. I don't know yet about spread for the exchange. I didn't see any statement from Croatian government about this project but the state owns the Croatian Post, so if they allowed this deal, it means they accept crypto.

buwaytress, all the tourists are coming to see Game of Thrones locations in Dubrovnik, not Zadar but any way Zadar is also very famous tourist city and on the way to Dubrovnik. I don't live in Zadar so I didn't try this crypto exchange and don't know about others because this service just started, a few days ago. OK, I just find out answer about fees on the FB page from ''Bitcoin mjenjacnica'', it's only 4 % but ID is required. Nolimitz84 , ''bitcoin mjenjacnica'' also have crypto exchange office in Zagreb but, as you can imagine, it's expensive to open directly such offices so such deal with big state company, which have many offices around Croatia, is great deal for them but also for postal service as well because they will get more customers and increase profit eventually. It's win- win I guess. Yes, Croatian post offices are multi functional, and you can buy there baby toys, watches, books, send money with Western Union, open a life or health insurance, open a TV subscription and many other things.

This seems very cool. I wanted to ask a few things, though. Like, what are the fees for this exchange? Are they typical, like in any other place in general? And if not the fees, the rate (price) at which they exchange Bitcoin. If it were in my country, I would choose the post office over another place if the fees in total did not exceed, say, 7%. Another question, which is not a big matter for me but is for some other people, is KYC. You're probably required to give your passport to people in the post office, right? Oh, and my final question, which is of interest specifically to me about this whole thing. In my country, we have both public (governmental) and private post office. Is this on the main official post office of the country, or a private one?
I'm not sure what are the fees for this exchange. Here https://bitcoin-mjenjacnica.hr/?fbclid=IwAR1n4ws9iZAtexYKDXpF8s9U-rVPI3EOwdnEJOXuRxs2hbANrtSygag1IZw#exchangeyou can see fees from their partner in this project, ''Bitcoin mjenjacnica'' but maybe they have some special deal with post office. On the FB page of the company is explained that for crypto exchange users will need only wallet and ID. We are talking here about 3 post offices in Zadar, which participated in pilot project and in future they have plan to include post offices in whole country. There is no private post offices in Croatia.

Really a good news for the cryptocurrency users of Croatia. Following the same maybe more countries will analyze the need for such services. At the initial stage making it reach the common people partnering with the leading cryptocurrency exchange of Croatia is the right way of service implementation. I would like to know about the stand of Croatian Government on bitcoin usage, from the service provided through post office it seems Croatian government is crypto friendly. Is there legal support from government for Cryptocurrency usage.
I don't know about Croatian government but Croatian tax office recently shared their official opinion how to report and pay taxes on crypto earnings. Also, we already have legally registered company for crypto exchange, a few Bitcoin ATM etc. So, yes, it seems that Croatian government is crypto friendly. 😀

Nice, but why in earth are they using XRP ? Could be in partnership because you know, RippleLabs is a company so.. Anyway, this is good, though with that kind of premium I don't think a lot of people would be willing to use the service. This is a one step closer towards the big boom in crypto but I think it's best if exchanges are held by private entities and not government entities. I might just be paranoid but seriously, it's a nice strategy to get/snoop into people's crypto profiles/spendings and keep tabs on them and make sure that they are still spied on. This is good but I'd like my DEX/private exchanges more. Right now I could just find out that they offering this exchange service in partnership with "Bitcoin mjenjacnica " first officially registered btc exchange in Croatia. It seems they created special application for the postal service. I contacted Croatian postal service and asked more info. When they answer I will post it here. Don't forget that this is pilot project and available only in one city in Croatia. I believe that soon this service will be available in whole Croatia. I think they chose Zadar as first city to accept crypto because it's tourist city with a lot tourists from all the world.

Can you believe it? We, the Croatian Bitcoin community, are really shocked with this information and we did not expect this. It seems that right now Croatian post office will offer this service as pilot project only in one city in Croatia- Zadar, but hopefullythis service will be extended soon to all post offices in the Republic of Croatia! It's great step for bitcoin acceptance in Croatia. So, what are you waiting for, come in Croatia and spend your bitcoin and other crypto here So, you could now send a letter with some satoshis? Or do you mean a full exchange like the online exchanges? Its good to see adoption. I'd like clarification, Is this (postal) service private or state owned? No, we can't send a letter and pay with bitcoin but we can exchange bitcoin to local currency. This is state owned postal service.

I also contacted directly Croatian postal service and will post here their official answer about future plans with this crypto exchange.

When I see how hot is now, and every year is worse, with lots of weather disasters, I really think that our climate changing very quickly. It is a long time for politicians to agree on this issue, and to do something.

It seems that Trump started a trend and other countries following, like Boris Johnson in UK but also Rodrigo Duterte in Philippines, Bolsonaro in Brazil etc. They are all populists without content and concrete philosophy, only interested in power and popularity. They all manipulate the truth and the facts and live in their world of delusion and lies.

We should enjoy these matches and moments because it will not last long. It's obvious that that Federer is nearing the end of a magnificent career and we have maybe just a few years left to enjoy in the magnificent matches of this ''great three''. I believe this will never happen again to watch three of the greatest players at the same time. Unfortunately, it seems to me that Federer no longer has the strength to beat Djokovic.

There's money in China but you'll just be lost from the media buzz and soon people would forget you. Similar is USA or middle east. Some players don't seem to care about all of that. Maybe Bale is one of them, maybe not, time will tell. Remember Oscar, the Brazilian who played for Chelsea? He was a good player and went to China at the age of 25-26. The only motivating factor for him was the money as he could have easily stayed in Europe and play for a top club. Nobody even talks about this guy now and he can probably forget about playing for the national team ever again. Another example is Hulk, another Brazilian who is currently in Shanghai. Chinese league is a total waste of time, I remember Oscar well. He was quite a good player with Chelsea. I kind of understand when players go to China in their mid to late 30’s to end their careers but it’s insane to go to play football in China in your 20’s. You are right here but today's players are different. For many of them, most important things are earning, fun and enjoyable life. No more fidelity to one club as Francesco Totti for Roma and sacrificing more profits because of loyalty and love to the club and fans
