6001  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: June 08, 2016, 05:38:02 AM
It definitely matters because we need to pay for mining equipment and power in cash, if the price was worthless, no one would  mine

As quoted by above mate the price really matters, if it goes worthless no one would prefer bitcoin as an earning or for any other needs. Even now the increased price is the most attractive feature it has got.

Not just mining bro, for miners also need the buyers. Why would I buy a thing that will just stay at its price. It is the bonus of all the bonuses. It is better than those banks that says you will get profit from waiting or piling up your fiat in their hands. Yeah wait for a year there.
6002  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: June 08, 2016, 05:31:18 AM
We all have some amount of bitcoins in our wallets..
Do you really think bitcoin is a currency Worthing you more than a real currency...
I do because real currency price won't grow up or down as bitcoin...
So do you or not ??
And also have a discussion about its prices in future..!!
in my opinion the bitcoin is nothing worth because it can only be seen as a trading method. Why buying
things with bitcoins if there is real gold. And bitcoins his price is gold so i don't see it.

If you could evaluate bitcoin further, you will realise that it is more than an object of trade; it is an internet currency that has the potential of being used globally on the net if not physically. If large agencies such as Microsoft and Steam are accepting bitcoin as payment then its definetly more worth that you think.

That's true. If large companies see the potential of bitcoin for them to accept it as mode of their payment, why not us? I believe that the companies who accepted bitcoin have done a lot of research and analysis before adopting it. I believe that they will not risk their business for nothing, for an online currency who doesn't have any potential of growing. Since they adopted bitcoin, they are believing on it. If other's don't see that potential and bitcoin will still be unworthy for them, then it's their opinion. It realy depends on how we see/take such things. For me Bitcoin is really worth it  Grin

Oh and they are now profiting from it too. Just like us but better to them. They can buy a lot of it and grow it even further. If they can have a huge amount they can also control the fluctuations of it.
6003  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: June 08, 2016, 05:18:53 AM
Bitcoin is really hard to spend right now so i think that cash is better for people who using bitcoin as currnecy, for people who using bitocins as investment bitcoins is better.
But with bitcoins the more you hold you money you are give a good earnings that you can consider as interest, while in cash it will not grow and will be subject for inflation. In terms of spending, cash is really good as you can spend it anywhere you want as it is government regulated currency but when it comes to online transaction nothing can beat bitcoin.

When it come to online transaction there is still the US dollars. I still see some websites or online shops that wants your money changed to USD first before concluded the transaction. They dont want to accept any other currency.
6004  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: June 08, 2016, 01:36:37 AM
I think the only easy ways to double bitcoin quickly are also more risky like gambling and ponzis. You can try those if you are willing to risk it or you can just do it the hard way. Faucets, signatures, trading, lending, etc. can make you a little at the time but it does take a while.

I don't know why did you put ponzi schemes and gambling in same context. There is big difference between this two things. After months in bitcoin I found that gambling is less risky then ponzi schemes. At least in gambling you choose a game, and you know odds.

Doubling bitcoins is not easy thing to do, but its individual who will choose what in the end, everyone have different skills and different knowledge. So what is important to use smart what you have.

True. In gambling, we will not be blaminh anyone and we enjoyed our own money. But in ponzi, yes you cant blame them you risked your money but that is still stealing. You wont enjoy it.
6005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: June 08, 2016, 01:29:52 AM
I think the bitcoin is not being used by people because it has a bad name all over the world because of the media that is talking bad about it.

Maybe that's one of the reason why people are not using bitcoin, since we all know that a country can be run by a very hypocrite news by media.
And tell can just tell what they want and if they want to destroy one's image and reputation they can just do it easily.

Media controlled by government. We are already twisted by those television stations or even the radio they say they tell the truth but what do we know. They have their own agendas and they would not like a free currency that will exist like bitcoin.
6006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 08, 2016, 12:24:27 AM
It's very easy question to answer, the best way to teach someone about bitcoin is show how you are doing and then let to try to reapet to your "student"

Very easy question but hard to do and hard to detail it specially to those who gets bored in just a few words. They lose patience in something that they cant gain some yet. They dont see what could happen if they would just listen.
6007  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: June 08, 2016, 12:20:57 AM
There is a chance that this will happen if the bitcoin continuous to grow more and more I really think we can achieve this.

Is it not achieved yet? I think it is a global currency now. I guess we are thinking of fiat when we say global. It is not physical money but online it is global. Even if you go in Africa you can access bitcoin.
6008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: June 07, 2016, 02:11:40 PM
Do you think that people hate bitcoins why?
Are you hate bitcoins or like it.........
But my answer is I LIKE BITCOIN.
i dont necessarily think that people hate bitcoins, but to my knowledge people usually associate bitcoin with illegal activities. until people start using bitcoins themselves i dont think they would like it

That is the catch here, people listen to rumors around them and start believing the same without making their won efforts to know what bitcoin exactly is.
People do not really hate Bitcoin but I think that they hate the fact that you have wait to wait a long time before you get the chance to make some money. The price is now rising so money can be made right now.

I think that is lack of knowledge and too much depending on just waiting for it to grew buy time. For me, that is just a freebie. We still need to work it out to get our own bitcoins.
6009  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: June 07, 2016, 01:49:57 PM
Bitcoin cannot replace the dollar currency.  Because the two currency's are currently stable and strong and has its own demand for its own purpose.  The question is will the dollar currency dominate bitcoin trading more than the other currencies?

You got that right. I dont really think it should be compared with dollar. I would rather compare Bitcoin with Gold for it is like the same. Mined and being depleted by the human race.
6010  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: June 07, 2016, 01:45:53 PM
I would rather spend cash then Bitcoins because the value of the Bitcoin can go up again which gives you the option to make money. I suggest that you spend as less Bitcoins as possible.

Yes less but at least some and more frequently. No need to deplete your wallet just use it as a means of different transaction. We cant just keep it forever or fluctuations will also stop.
6011  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: June 07, 2016, 01:42:00 PM
cash are not that easy to use in different countries, you need to exchange them everytime, a pain in the ass, bitcoin is a global currency, and very easy too move also

and cannot be faked like cash so easily, add on top of this, the less fees required...

I can use my mastercard in a lot of contries without even knowing what currency they have.

we are talking about cash not electronic money, also your other issue is the withdrawal limit on basically any atm, you know that with your master card you cannot withdrawn more than a certain amount, with bitcoin there are no restriction of any sort

yes you can use your mastercard but they will charge you a great fee for conversion, with bitcoin you don't need to convert in the local currency because bitcoin works globally
why have bitcoins instead of cash. i think its better to say have cash instead of bitcoins because bitcoins will not be much worth for ever and cash is always there and will never lose his worth. so i dont think you should have bitcoins instead of cash.

This are different things. Bitcoin is now used for transacting online, or an investment in a better way like gold. Cash is cash. You use it for your daily needs and other stuffs to buy. Although you can now buy online using your bitcoins.
6012  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: June 07, 2016, 08:39:07 AM
Bitcoin is now rising indeed and that is nice for the people with already Bitcoin because they also waited a long time until they can earn profit with Bitcoin.
And maybe the time will be soon so they can earn some profit with it so that is nice, but just have to wait and see for what will happen.

That is true. Lucky for those who had bought it at a really low price. I think I started it when it is at 350 not that high in profit yet. Plus I dont have that much that is why I do more jobs.
6013  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: June 07, 2016, 07:29:29 AM
I think Bitcoin is more guaranteed than money, because it is not controlled by any government. In 1990 in my country (Brazil) the government seized all bank accounts including applications. It was chaos. Despair. If there were the bitcoins at that time and if someone had bitcoins, that person would be calm.
Let us just look it into simple way, cash is subject to inflation while bitcoins will give good value in the future. In terms of investment I would choose bitcoins and even in online transaction as it is fast and safe.

That is the problem if someone is controlling something. They can do what they want and those who are under it cant do nothing. Vice versa with bitcoin. We are all owners here. We are CEO, we decide when to close it.
6014  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: June 07, 2016, 06:11:33 AM
After the recent jump of bitcoin price from $450 to $585, I think your question holds no value.

That is what we are buying bitcoin for. The price and the huge potential for the price increase in future. Holding bitcoin is also an investment. Not necessarily you have to invest it in anywhere. Just hold it for long time and you will get a massive return.

You will be needing a massive amount of bitcoins also to see the profit in it. If some average guy just want to try it and buy just a few of it then it will not be felt and it tooks a massive amount of trust also to do that.
6015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: June 07, 2016, 06:06:55 AM
Now that its almost clear btc is going to skyrocket during halving i guess I'd be saving a more.
I did even consider buying another account just to join some signature campaign but then again i'd be spending again..

I think multi accounts in a signature campaign is not allowed. You joined yobit you can do some prediction on some altcoins to gain some more bitcoin. That is a fast method also if you are trying to hoard some more.
6016  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 07, 2016, 04:48:08 AM
I would never leave my job to commit 100% to bitcoin, bitcoin is something I do after work and in free time. Cheesy

Great. Break time is bitcoin time rather than idling in something like social media websites. It will be better to just do faucet or trade some altcoins see new one or charts on how it goes up and down.
6017  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin halving to be canceled? on: June 07, 2016, 12:27:47 AM
We are looking too much in the halving thing and we dont see how great the price of this currency had grew. It is $100+ dollar rise my friends. Let us not get our hopes too much on that halving and do what we can to increase our coins in different styles.
6018  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: June 07, 2016, 12:23:59 AM
Reading this thread I am afraid that speculators do not consume. How can we increase consumption with Bitcoin?

Yes you are right. Too much hodlers, keepers, hoarders and store. Yeah bitcoin might end because of that. It needs to be used. Always be used as a means of a currency if you want a good future out of it.
6019  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: June 07, 2016, 12:19:07 AM

Because let's face it. No halving, no expected growth which means you won't get more value from your bitcoins...

No you are wrong. Halving is just a big rewards for us to make profit. Even without it, we can still reach our desired target price. It's just by large numbers of volume year by year.

Also big holders can start such rally that can lead to price surges.

Yeah how does he know there will be no such halving thing. Have he seen the future. But anyways halving or not look at the growth of this good currency.
6020  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 07, 2016, 12:16:41 AM
Bitcoin is still not that stable compared to gold, and it is going to take a while before the price stabilizes, the reason is the small number of bitcoin users and transactions.
It is not yet at the level in which it can be trusted as a stable currency, which favors those who are into trading, as the price can swing wildly in a matter of days.

That is true. If all bitcoins are mined then we dont know if this will stilll fluctuate like it does today. Large scales of changes now because there are still lot to be mined. Just like gold.
