People is stopping using Bitcoin when they are know that they cant earn money with Bitcoin on that moment and that is really bad because it will be later have a higher value.
But of course it will be nice if you can make fast profit but that is not every time possible.

I think bitcoin is still not yet brand new or maybe in the mind of people it is still brand new, but brand new things are easy to study. And I guess block chain now is more easier to use you just need to explore things and learn it by yourself. But I know there are some people that these reasons are really stopping them to use bitcoin. |

The big reason people stopping using bitcoin is the price of bitcoin. Why ? Because, if the price of bitcoin goes down to $1 or more, i'm sure people will not using bitcoin again.
AHHA moment this is certainly true and everyone will immediately turned his on bitcoin. But I think this can only occur if in the future there is a digital currency is much better and much more friendly than bitcoin. I think that the future of the bitcoin will be much better and grow taller again. |

So after reading this article and especially the ending: One thing is for certain: having made Bitcoin less of a security worry, transparency will now be key in attracting users to new models, placing control of funds and fees in an upfront way in their own hands. I'm wondering what's stopping people from using bitcoin? And now I'm talking about people who already aware of bitcoin and how it works but still not using it. The price is now pretty much stable for more then a year, security issues are out of the question - so why we can't see in 2015 more companies switching to it, especially considering the unstable condition of moden economy? In my country their only one reaso why they stopping in bitcoin. I think this is the also reason why other people in other country stopping in bitcoin. The reason is they loss many funds in bitcoin and they think that this bitcoin cant earn more. They loss in hyips, gambling, and many sites that promising their investors to double thier money. |

so many reason, for example: they got bored , they think they dont need bitcoin anymore, they think that bitcoin dont have bright future (i believe bitcoin have bright future)
That's what exactly the reason of some people I know. First, they got bored, they find it really hard to earn bitcoin, without exploring it, without knowing different ways on how to earn it. They just focus on faucets and betting. Second, they got more interested on different ways to earn dollars, since they knew and used paypal first, they find it more convenient to earn. Third, the unstable price and yes the future of bitcoin, worries are there because nobody knows if bitcoin will be there for the long run. But since most of my friends enjoy the benefits of earning bitcoin like me, I'm still believing that bitcoin will still grow and accepted in the future. |

It's the way bitcoin is conducting making itself the ideal currency voor scammers. Sure it's not something you can fix easily since scammer will be scammers, but it gives bitcoin a very bad name...

yeah that is true,. Media did something that made this currency so bad in people mind. And some stayed that way. Hating this currency but someday if they will knew the true goodness in it then they might use it also. |

some people stop using bitcoin because some cant control their gambling addiction , especially when using bitcoin every thing are easy to reach, they can gamble whenever they are because you only need internet and mobile or laptop to be able to gamble. well having a bitcoin is already a form of gambling ,
yeah I agree with that because my friends are also experiencing the same thing. defeat and the loss could make people stop of bitcoin. they become bankrupt because of gambling and hyip. so be careful with the defeat and loss. maybe it will make you become desperate |

I think there are some reasonable reasons why other people is not using or being stop to use bitcoins.One thing is maybe they are thinkinh that "hey bitcoin is an online thing everything thats online is not always secured my money can be gone".Maybe also they are thinking that bitcoin is worthless and cant give you profit if you invest on it

Maybe that's one of the reason why people are not using bitcoin, since we all know that a country can be run by a very hypocrite news by media. And tell can just tell what they want and if they want to destroy one's image and reputation they can just do it easily. Media controlled by government. We are already twisted by those television stations or even the radio they say they tell the truth but what do we know. They have their own agendas and they would not like a free currency that will exist like bitcoin. |

I think it is because if the inherent lack of knowledge of the common people about bitcoin and the technology behind it. It's hard to use something that you hardly know anything about, what the risks and weaknesses are, what benefits they might get, and how best to use it their advantage. These are just some of the things that serve as hindrance to greater adoption of bitcoin.

yeah someone who is hard to get bitcoin, and has struggled but the result is very small. then they give up and eventually stop using bitcoin. but I think this kind of person is less intelligent. whereas many ways to get bitcoin, just need to be patient, or learn to do it |
