I'm wondering if we might start to see hybrid payments. Part bitcoin, part dollar. Dollars to pay expenses based in dollars and Bitcoin for real money. It sounds like it would be overly-complex but there way be a way to make it run smoothly.

On balance, I'd say it probably is (anti-semitic). The features of most of them seem quite clearly to be caricaturized stereotypical Jewish.
As to the reaction of covering it up? Down to the property owner, I'd say but the UK has all kinds of anti-hate speech and other thought crimes on the books now.

This is less of an issue than the fact that in the waste of that capital, it consumes goods services and labor. For example, Instead of doing something that helps grow the economy, Billy Bob is standing around in the airport, frisking up innocent civilians. Jimmy Joe is managing Billy Bob and friends, Mary Sue is managing their payroll, Marky Mark is cleaning their crapper, Big Dave is building the office they all work in and *it's all for nothing*. Repeat this many, many times over. It's a tragedy of waste.

It's important to remember that Europe is having its own issues right now so stunts that are a distraction are to be expected.
Not that the Germans don't have reason to be genuinely concerned, of course.

Bitcoin is the new gold.
+1 I bet on parity with gold within much less than a decade ! 1 BTC = 1 Gold what? Oz? Ton? Liter? How about a new comparison thread? Bitcoin is on parity with an X made of gold... Currently it looks to be a "Disney Dee Bee Pin" (Whatever that is). Personally, I'm holding out for a gold toilet.

This thread is all hype. I to, wish and pray that Bitcoin may one day reach 10,000$ a coin, but lets be realistic. It can as easily fail from another superior cryptography as much as it may succeed.

I'm hoping that my tax return this gets gets me enough to afford one of those fancy MakerBot x2's. If I can pull it off, I'd gladly sell print time for BTC. Ouch. 8 weeks lead time. I'm hoping to get into 3d printing soon but I'll probably go with one of the more homebrew solutions. OTOH, I kinda got excited by cnc aluminum milling over the weekend. Decisions, decisions...

if this is meant to be put in your back pocket you might want to round out the edges.
+1. Though you may get sued by Steve Jobs. Rather than thickening it for more rounded corners, you could just make it a bit wider on the thin edges Now, if you were to have the public key embedded in the plastic, possibly in a contrasting color...

Does this mean the new rally already ended before it started, or is this warning signal obsolete now?
Double hump rally!!!

... You might be best put to focusing on the antenna. Have you considered a cantenna?
Lol, tried gutting the core out of a cheap generic one and punching a screwdriver through a bean tin with the help of an online calculator and got a 30% boost in signal strength Might make a one properly sometime but decent non-directional outdoor high gain ones are cheap should make a big difference on the AP. Building to building is a PITA, particularly if there's any metal siding or metal structural members involved. I spent ages getting it just right at the in-laws place then someone parked their SUV in between and killed the connection so I gave up. If you're on the same phase, it might be worth considering one of those ethernet-over-power-line things or maybe go fiber optic. Wifi is definitely the easiest and cheapest if you can get it to work easily though.

A wireless router would be the best route for me to, I needed a connection in a hurry so used a spare PC for now but I'm looking for a router, need a decent range though as this is going between houses. Nothing suitable on Bitmit atm and there's nothing like the cheap ebay listings on Bitcoin Store :/

Windows has nothing to do with the POST process.
If it's not making any kind of beeps or anything, first guess is your PSU is dead (even though lights are turning on). Try and swap it out with a known-good one. After that, it's real troubleshooting.
Or the motherboard could be fried. Could be. That would fall under the real troubleshooting.

What you need is enough confidence that you'll be able to physically track down the person you're loaning to and a goon that looks like he'd enjoy and is capable of making peoples' knees bend the wrong way.
And how much is a goon paid to perform this retribution so that the banker feels better after losing out on a $100 loan? Hell, come to think of it, I'm not sure if a goon has even been approached to perform said task on any of the scammers who have gotten away with big chunks of loot from individuals. It's no good getting the goon after the fact. He's supposed to be a deterrent. Don't forget that this happens with mainstream banking. They just give the goon a nice shiny badge and you can end up with worse than a decent knee-bending.

It's possibly been discussed elsewhere but assuming bitcoin takes on, I wonder what the future of bitcoin exchange will look like. Little booths like you see in large European cities? Presumably banks would offer it as a service (at unreasonable cost most likely). Presumably there will be some online competition too.

I'll just chime in that rather than messing with all the hostapd stuff and making sure you have the correct chipsets and all that guff, you might just want to get hold of a small Tomato capable wireless router* and throw that on there. I think I paid $20 for mine. Of course, you might have good reasons for going the hostapd route in which case, good luck to you.
*Stock firmware may do what you want.
