6001  Other / Meta / Re: New ways to earn merit. on: April 07, 2018, 03:25:43 PM
I believe that you will be put into Ignore List of some high ranked users in the forum, and the topic has low probability to receive merits.
Good luck, merit beggar.

I've done that - these polluting threads are really annoying.
6002  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Will gold and silver coins return as currency? on: April 07, 2018, 03:12:55 PM

Why would they want to collapse the fiat currencies that they already own and control the supply of?

Governments don't own or control the fiat currencies, the Rothschilds do. This includes the Bank of England, Bank of Japan, and the US Federal Reserve amongst others. They are so debt laden, that they have no choice but to collapse the fiat currencies and the current banking system.
6003  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Is it right to kill a violent burglar? on: April 07, 2018, 03:07:59 PM
The good news is that the prosecution service has decided that there is no case to answer.
6004  Other / Meta / Re: The future of the signature campaigns on: April 07, 2018, 03:00:09 PM

It is a good graph. However, it should be noted that this is everyone with a signature, not everyone with a paid signature.

Also 'paid' is a bit subjective. I often put an affiliate link in my sig. I do this for hosting, domain registrars or domain sales sites. Obviously I hope to profit from this. I often include domain names that I want to sell, or my sites that I may want to promote. A signature is quite useful for me, but I don't have any pressures to display it.
6005  Other / Meta / Re: How do I get out of newbie status? on: April 07, 2018, 10:08:15 AM
You need to get your activity up to a minimum of 30 first to get out of your Newbie status, which then you become a junior member.

Everybody knows that, and you don't have to bump old threads to clog the board just to try to scratch a few merits and activity.

I've put you on ignore for doing it, so no merits from me ever.
6006  Other / Meta / Re: Posting in Wrong Sub-Forum on: April 07, 2018, 07:45:30 AM
Suggest they move it to the correct board, and explain how they can do this.

This will reduce the amount of work for the mods.
6007  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Concern on: April 07, 2018, 07:37:35 AM

Great! This just shows that the merit system is working as intended.
If you are here in this forum purely to try and fleece bounty campaigns, you shouldn't be able to rank up and misuse them.

Isn't that the truth? Smiley

The problem is not lack of awardable merits, but lack of posts that deserve the awards, or difficulty in finding them.

It is getting better though, and some of the boards have become useful resources.
6008  Other / Meta / Re: Merit in my Profile on: April 07, 2018, 07:30:31 AM
I've put him on ignore anyway - so no merits from me ever.
6009  Economy / Reputation / Re: Rep and feedback question on: April 06, 2018, 05:57:27 PM
I didn't see a neg in your trust, but I did see this comment, you might want to clarify that, as some members don't like account trading.

Bought few various accounts from him, all went nice and smooth. Very polite guy, too.
6010  Other / Meta / Re: The future of the signature campaigns on: April 06, 2018, 01:15:07 PM
If we can get rid of the bad signature campaigns, and reduce the low quality spamming, then the forum can grow back into the valuable resource it was a few years ago.
6011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Upgrade my Win 10 notebook with HDD to Linux with SSD on: April 06, 2018, 09:16:28 AM
Sorry for the delay instarting this project. I've blown the turbo on my second van, and I've been a bit distracted by that. Hopefully I'll pick up the SSD next week, and get moving on the "upgrade".
6012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I've been fight the core download for months on: April 06, 2018, 09:14:02 AM
Is this sorted now?

Have you any idea what may have caused the problem with the earlier downloads?
6013  Other / Serious discussion / Is it right to kill a violent burglar? on: April 06, 2018, 09:10:53 AM
An intruder killed during a raid on a pensioner's home was a career criminal who worked in a family gang and had spent time in jail.
Henry Vincent, 37, from Kent, was stabbed during a break-in at the home of pensioner, Richard Osborn-Brooks, 78, in Hither Green on Wednesday.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/04/05/burglar-killed-pensioners-home-wanted-previous-robbery/

What do you think? I think that a 37 year old career burglar who attacked a 78 year old pensioner in his own home, deserved what he got, and I hope they catch his accomplice. It seems the police don't agree, and they have arrested the pensioner for defending himself and his family.
6014  Other / Meta / Re: [Proposal] Enable sending of less than a full sMerit / Gold and Silver merits on: April 05, 2018, 08:43:26 PM
Well half a merit is already there, but I tried to use it, and it didn't work. Smiley
6015  Other / Meta / Re: Is there anywhere private where we can discuss trust, reputation amd merit? on: April 05, 2018, 07:24:45 PM
It's about my private policy, so don't worry guys. Smiley
6016  Other / Meta / Re: Whether Banned Account Can't Longer Removable? on: April 05, 2018, 06:45:13 PM

Also, stop posting several thread on the same issue. If your account is banned, you need ONLY one thread.

You don't need a thread, you just need to close the door behind you.

Phishing is theft.
6017  Other / Meta / Is there anywhere private where we can discuss trust, reputation amd merit? on: April 05, 2018, 06:39:50 PM
I'd like to discuss forum policy privately with a few senior members.
6018  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit points to reach Member level on: April 05, 2018, 06:34:35 PM
You don't just need merits, you need the ability to read posts, and sadly, that seems to be lacking in the forum now.
6019  Other / Meta / Re: Some Question regarding the merit system on: April 05, 2018, 06:16:30 PM
I've put 5 people on ignore in the last 10 minutes. Please stop all the rubbish posts about merit.
6020  Other / Archival / Re: Selling/exchanging merit. on: April 05, 2018, 06:09:56 PM
I'm putting so many people on ignore these days.

If all you can do is to make low quality posts that aren't deserving of merit, why would a sig campaign manager want you associated with his programme?
