6001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Alternate cryptocurrencies]Litecoin on: October 30, 2011, 11:03:04 PM
Litecoin is, like any other alternate cryptocurrency, just a scheme to steal the BTC from clueless newbies.

Can you explain me what you saying?
Are you telling me that I should mine BTC with my NVIDIA GPU, dump $$$ in new rig or something else?

I'm saying that dudes like you only want BTC in exchange for the scamcoin they mine, and eventually the scamcoin you are mining will die, and the persons to whom you sold those scamcoin will be out of their BTC.

But by all means, keep at it. Mine scamcoins and dump them, I'm not the one who's going to lose my Bitcoin anyway.

Dude you already opened 5 threads today... What's up with that? You scream SCAMMER and SPAMMER every time you open another thread. If you want i can rent you a bot by the hour...
6004  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CoinExchanger.com - Secure Anonymous Trading on: October 30, 2011, 09:22:31 PM
Care to explain how you managed 100 new users in 30min on a thread with 30 views, and also why is your address a restaurant?

Anonymous trading. Learn what it is, why is it needed, then you will understand why the address is a restaurant.

Visit, www.coinexchanger.com

Anonymous trading has nothing to do with the operator of the website being anonymous...
6005  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying 20 BTC on: October 30, 2011, 08:30:21 PM
What assurance does the person that sends you the 20BTC have that you will pay him, and even if you do it, using paypal you have 60 days to ask for your money back given that the person will have no proof whatsoever that he sent you the coins, plus it's against paypal ToS, so he's fucked.
6006  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This mr. Anonymous on: October 30, 2011, 08:27:39 PM
Maybe it would look a bit more professional if the topics made by him were replaced with new ones. I mean, this is the first place new members can post and all, wouldn't do to have the main information topics be by someone who was kicked off the community.

He wasn't kicked, he voluntarily deleted his account(or asked for it to be deleted), and he's still around, with a new username.
6007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Alternate cryptocurrencies]Litecoin on: October 30, 2011, 08:25:27 PM
Litecoin is, like any other alternate cryptocurrency, just a scheme to steal the BTC from clueless newbies.

Just ignore it and eventully it will die out, like others before it died already.

Namecoin was the first fork and still hasn't died.

I suggest you take your own advice and think outside the box (rather than with your wallet.dat) before dismissing all alt. currencies as scams.
But namecoin is not a bitcoin clone.

It can be used as a dns alternative.

No point on reasoning with scammers... They all will try to push their agendas and scam you out of your Bitcoin with their scamcoins.

@JohnDoe I don't see Namecoin an as alternative cryptocurrency, but as another type of thing. Sure, it can be traded, but it uses the Bitcoin protocol for a something that has nothing to do with currency, so your point is invalid.

On the off chance that you simply don't know any better, this screams "scam."

uh??
"Go" as in "Yaay, I love". "Solidcoin", as in... uh.. Solidcoin!

Yaay, I love Solidcoin!
So what was my quote doing in your post and why were you talking about solidcoin when this thread is about another scamcoin, in this case, litecoin?

I don't give a fuck about solidcoin.
I never implied you did, nor do I give a shit.
But you just said above you loved it... Confused much?

And the guy with the scammer tag, the one hosting litecoin sites is you, so, just STFU.
Are you trying to compare bearing this beautiful tag to hosting a website, condemn me from offering a free service to a project which I believe in, condemn me in some other way, or just be the usual dumbass that you usually are?
Yup, scammers tend to believe in scams very much!
6010  Other / Off-topic / Re: DEA agent discusses Bitcoin in class today on: October 30, 2011, 06:58:49 PM
All I want to know is, WHY in HELL did you CHOOSE to take a government propaganda class?

Probably he didn't choose, he was forced to, even if he doesn't realise it and thinks it was voluntary lol

6013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Occupy Wall St. Debating whether convert funds over to Bitcoin on: October 30, 2011, 06:13:47 PM
Any body else thinks that most of the donation money came from wall street just to fuck them up and show them that a lot of money makes them miserable? lol

Not sure if I'd subscribe to that level of conspiracy but it is likely wallstreet had the forsight to know that holding funds would subject some to legal issues. It has the capacity to 'single' people out and allows law to put a 'face' on the protestors more easily, imho.

Edit; To fix a few typos.  of to if and laws to law

Interesting, but I doubt 500k is 'a lot of money' to 'wallstreeters'.

That's like half a week of pay for some of the lowest paid(major) ceo's (i think)

But it is a lot of money to the losers that are there protesting, taking into account that most of them are students and homeless.

Dude, why do you need 3 threads on 3 sub-forums? Stop spamming and maybe someone will fall for your SCAM. You seem desperate spamming like this.
6016  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: (Experimental) pident — a pool-biased blockchain representation on: October 30, 2011, 02:01:37 PM
I wouldn't mind hosting it. Have an empty VPS I could use for it. But fixing it is out of my capacity as I'm not a programmer ;P

What would be the minimum requirements for the server?
6017  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Client should ask for password twice before encrypting wallet.dat on: October 30, 2011, 01:56:09 PM
It does. After you type it the first time it asks you to type it again. If you fail, the encryption fails and that's it, no encrypted wallet.
