6021  Economy / Speculation / Re: There Bitcoin goes again. on: September 05, 2020, 12:39:34 PM
Browse my recent post weeks ago and I've already said that it will happen again Cheesy.
Well, it just came from an analyst which I followed for a long time in Youtube. He also predicted that it will go at around $12,000 then will go down to around $10,000 and his prediction came true Cheesy.

Anyway, if you are here for a long time already you know that the price of Bitcoin will just go back up soon. This is just another buying opportunity for us who are holding Bitcoin for quite some time. Go accumulate more Bitcoin now. There is a chance that this is the last time we see Bitcoin at $10,000.
6022  Economy / Economics / Re: Famine is coming next ... on: September 05, 2020, 12:25:03 PM
Famine has been experienced by so many poor families already for quite some time so it is not coming next because it is happening already.
Its just that we are all focusing on the virus itself that we forgot the other things that can happen to other people like famine.
I've seen some families here in our country that are begging in the streets already just to have some money to use to have their daily meals. I found it unfortunate for them but I know that there will be a time that this will end but there will be casualties above it.

Time to stock up on a few decades of MREs, not that anyone can afford that many.
For sure many people are doing it already but I already have the feeling that some of the families can't even afford to buy some MRE's. Feel sad for them Sad.
6023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Bitcoin giveaway scams and how can you avoid them on: September 05, 2020, 12:12:51 PM
If you are in the crypto space for quite some time already, you probably seen different kinds of scams.
This is just one of the very common but effective way scammers are using to lure some newbie investors.

I've seen many ads in Youtube regarding BTC, XRP and ETH giveaways (like doubler thingy). The recent twitter hack just to scam newbies are very obvious too. Its just that investors are ignorant and they get fall easily to these kind of scams. Well like I always said, investors will not learn if they will not experience it so... let them experience it first in order for them to adjust Smiley.
6024  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who sets the bitcoin price? on: September 05, 2020, 11:44:03 AM
Many people who new in the crypto world think that Bitcoin is managed by a company and the owners hold all of the Bitcoin and they are selling them into the market when they need the money that's why Bitcoin price is change daily.
If a newbie in crypto did even a little bit of a research, I think that they will see first that bitcoin is a decentralized currency so I don't think that this statement is true in any way unless that new in crypto didn't even tried to at least know the true definition of Bitcoin.

Supply and Demand is one yes but investors are related to it so in general, the investors are setting the price of it.
I think right now, the whales and large institutions are the ones who are controlling the price of it. No evidence but just a theory. The 2 reasons that you shared are true but you can just say that the investors are the ones who are setting the price of Bitcoin.
6025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is here to stay on: September 05, 2020, 10:27:50 AM
This is a mistake.

For bitcoin is not a currency; it is not money—it is a speculative hedge, an investment, a form of trading, and, quite possibly, the great white whale of finance.
Bitcoin can be used as whatever the investor wants it to use.
Bitcoin for others can be a currency (unfortunately this isn't the case as most of the people aren't using Bitcoin for transaction purposes like customer-merchant transaction).
Bitcoin for others can be a form of investment like the stock market and the like.
Bitcoin for other can be a speculative hedge like what most are doing now. Investing some of their money just to hedge. No evidences regarding this just my opinion and my feeling Cheesy.

Bitcoin will be here to stay for sure and please remove your spam link in the end of your post Smiley.
6026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gambling in the wake of covid-19 on: September 05, 2020, 10:21:01 AM
"Due to the stress of COVID-19 people tend to gamble more."

Even though the offline casinos are closed the online gambling is as lively as ever. Gambling when done in moderation is a healthy sport but when it's done excessively especially at a pandemic; it might cause a lot of concerns ; not just related to money , but having an addiction might permanently change your life .
I'm not surprised by this thing to happen because I know what an addicted gambler can do.
Gambling addiction is like Liquor addiction and cigarette addiction. Nobody can stop them to do it even though there is a pandemic that is happening especially here in our country where even though liquors are banned already, there are still people who will drink secretly.

Same goes with gambling addiction. Gamblers will always find a way for them to gamble and since many gamblers can't go out, they have many time to gamble online. People are getting bored in their home so they tend to spend their time gambling instead of spending their free time with their family.

Am really sorry for the losses of everyone but I do understand for a fact that addiction is something that we can beat using two things :

1. Support
2. Willpower
Easy to say but that is very hard to do especially the willpower. A gambler who lost a huge amount will not have that high willpower anymore but still those 2 will help you to get out from gambling addiction.

I tried to answer all of it but my total score is 0 since I never did what it is on the questionnaire Smiley. Not addicted and I have control of myself.
6027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 05, 2020, 10:12:47 AM
Bucks lost today.  Undecided

They have to win all of the remaining games for the series against the Miami Heat.
I knew it already that the Heat will be a good match-up for the Bucks since in their last 3 meetings in the Regular season, Heat won 2 of it but I didn't expect that this series will be a 3-0 in favor of the lower team.
I already said that Giannis has been exposed and the Heat has so many good defenders and they are a well-balanced team but I didn't expect that this will happen.

We know already that no team in NBA history won in playoffs with a 0-3 deficit. I'm not saying that the Bucks are eliminated from the playoffs already but this Game 3 is a big momentum shift. The chances of them winning are very low and maybe they are the first one to win in a 0-3 deficit. Kudos to the Heat team. The roster is well balanced and they have a player that can match against Giannis Cheesy.

If you like to bet in this Game 4, maybe you can go to the Bucks with a higher risk though but higher odds Cheesy.
6028  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Tanks to $10.4K; ETH Market Dominance at 2020 High on: September 04, 2020, 01:26:18 PM
I already said it in my previous posts days ago that I'm expecting for Bitcoin to go down at least near the $10,000 or below that price since it has been going upwards for days already.

Now it happened already. We can say that the investors are selling Bitcoin to join in the DeFi hype but still I already expect that this will happen Smiley. I think that we will stay between the $10,000 to $11,000 for some time though but if it goes below the $10,000 price, ready your money Cheesy.
6029  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are decreasing? on: September 04, 2020, 01:21:39 PM
I am thinking why Bitcoin price are going down?
Many reasons. Investors are selling. Whales are selling. People are panicking and they sold out of fear that they may incur many losses.
There is another reason that investors are choosing to buy ETH for the new DeFi Projects

Is Bitcoin Bull run is finished?
Can you say when the bull run has started so we can answer this question?? What a stupid question.

I want to buy Bitcoin, so is it the right time to buy Bitcoin or I will wait for a while.
Buy anytime you want and don't ask here. Learn to read the charts and learn when to enter and exit. Asking here will not benefit you at all because in the end it is your money not us. We can troll here and say that you must buy at the $20,000 price because it will go up there.
6030  Economy / Speculation / Re: 3 Reasons Bitcoin Just Tanked Below $11K for First Time in a Month on: September 04, 2020, 01:07:35 PM
1. Bitcoin slid in sync with traditional markets
Some are saying that the stock market and the crypto market are somewhat correlated with each other since their price movement is somewhat the same but I don't think that this is the main reason though.

2. Bitcoin got pulled down because of DeFi unwinding
Probably this is the reason since the DeFi hype is there already. Investors and Bitcoin holders are selling their Bitcoin to buy some new projects.

3. Miners sold some of their bitcoin
Somewhat related to the 2nd one because aside from the investors, probably miners are also selling their mined Bitcoins to buy some DeFi Projects.
6031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now the 6th largest world currency on: September 04, 2020, 12:51:37 PM
Does Bitcoin really fit with the other fiat currencies out there??
Bitcoin's price is still pegged with USD and other fiat currencies there.

You see Bitcoin as a currency? Most of the investors see Bitcoin as an asset more than a currency for sure but yeah it has been compared to things that it isn't in line with Cheesy. That rank will also change too whether if the price of Bitcoin goes up or goes down.
6032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Other cryptocurrency related alternatives on: September 04, 2020, 12:43:12 PM
~
Some of these are very risky like betting.
Some of them are waste of time like Faucet.
Mining?? Maybe it can be profitable if you are not paying a high electricity bill and that isn't the case for most of the countries.
Blog writing is good too since they can pay you. On the 4 that you said I think the last is the one that I will recommend for the newbies.

I earn my Bitcoins thru Signature campaign and trading it to gain more profit Cheesy.
6033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not so far from getting BTC globally accepted! Pornhub now accepts BTC & LTC. ;) on: September 03, 2020, 10:52:57 AM
I see this article already in my phone but didn't have the time to read the whole of it.
Well, a good thing for the crypto users right now that they are accepting Bitcoin and Litecoin.

I still remember when Pornhub accepts XVG coin and at that time, the price is pumping heavily and got FOMO'ed of it and because of the FOMO I lost half of my total trading capital. Fuck Verge shitcoin and fuck Pornhub. There are many coins to accept why XVG at that time Cheesy.

Ohh well that was 2 years ago and I already moved on with it Cheesy. Just happy that they accepted both BTC and LTC. Wonder why they didn't try to accept ETH.
6034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your advice on: September 03, 2020, 10:41:51 AM
Been seeing great men in here, some legendary and some hero members, some with high ranks. I love to aim high. I'm just making my way into the world of Cryptocurrency and I need the advice of each of you all. So my way into it can be very okay. Thanks in advance.
I find your post very funny in anyway. You addressed those high ranks here for some reasons and you love to aim high Cheesy. I don't know what is the meaning of it but.. yeah Cheesy.

You're newbie so you just put your money into Bitcoin and Ethereum first or just in Bitcoin if you don't have that much funds to use right now. As you are investing, try to learn at least the basics of Bitcoin or crypto in general and a bit of technical analysis. At least you know how to use the indicators and you know how to read charts so that you know when to buy and when to sell.
6035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COCK FIGHTING: COVID-19 health protocols violators, caught on: September 03, 2020, 10:37:39 AM
~
What's your thoughts about this? Is it worth to risk your health just to be able to win money by not abiding the law?
When people doesn't have any money anymore or at least they want more money, they will rather use it for gambling than using it in a good way like putting a small business or the like.

My thoughts about this?? F*ck them.. Let them do what they want to do. They aren't kids anymore that hasn't have minds to use. If they want to risk their health and choose to gamble then let them do it. The problem right now with our countrymen is that they don't know how to cooperate with the government and they will rant online if they see something wrong.

Risking your health for the small profits isn't worth it and its already obvious. Possible reasons why they did this is that they are bored possibly or they want to earn money thru gambling so that they have money to use for their every day lives.
6036  Economy / Economics / Re: Money printing about Australia on: September 03, 2020, 10:30:05 AM
This is expected already LOLS.
Please share your prediction for the next year Smiley

U.S started it and now other countries including Australia are doing it for their economy to be saved. Your'e affected by the QE that the government has been doing?? Better hedge and invest your fiat money to different assets.
6037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin such a big risk? on: September 03, 2020, 10:26:26 AM
but I'd like to ask the community. Is it riskier to place your money in Bitcoin or hold them in a fiat savings account? What's your opinion?
In terms of risk, fiat savings account would be better since it is less risky compare to your money putting in Bitcoin or crypto in general but in the long run putting your money in savings account will not be profitable since it will be eaten by the inflation.

In terms of profit, crypto is better. No further explanation as we know it already unless you are good in trading Forex then you can disagree with me Cheesy.

For me, holding most of my money and putting it in a savings account would be more risky compare to investing my money into crypto. Inflation is the big problem in fiat currency and we are in a pandemic right now and most of the governments are slowly printing more money to save their economy - more than the required money to print annually.

I know how crypto moves already and volatility isn't a thing for me anymore but for those newbie investor then they may lose their money because of it. Just hold bitcoin Cheesy.
6038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police reportedly seize South Korea's largest crypto exchange Bithumb on: September 03, 2020, 10:18:56 AM
Am I the only one seeing this news as a good thing??
If you are an investor then this is a good news since the market is affected by this news causing the prices to go down or this isn't the one affected Bitcoin and other coins' price.

Perfect time to accumulate more Bitcoin rather than buying it near the $12,000. Feel sad for the investors though since Bithumb is one of the largest crypto exchanges right now. I'm curious what will happen to the exchange right now and how this news will affect their reputation to their users.
6039  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it alright to invest with bitcoin at the current market price? on: September 03, 2020, 10:13:56 AM
As of today, Bitcoin went down to $11,300 right after its price went to $12,000.

Either way, it will depend on the 2 things.
1. Time frame on how long you will hold your Bitcoin.
2. Risk tolerance.

These 2 are important especially the risk tolerance. Most of the investors right now doesn't know how to manage their risk. If you can't see Bitcoin falling and you panic easily as  you see its price going down, use small amount only and vice versa.
6040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 03, 2020, 10:08:30 AM
Now, it is Lakers against Rockets, who would guys pick? Me, well I'm going to go with Lakers of course  Grin.
Rockets are one of the best in Offense right now in the league with their small ball roster no doubt.
Lakers are also one of the best in Offense but at the same time, they have bigs who can dominate inside the shaded area. Thing that Rockets doesn't have right now.

I'd go with the Lakers with this series too but they must defend the 3 point area in order for them to dominate the series.

Looks like nobody is talking here about the 0-2 deficit by the Bucks right now against the Heat.
Giannis has been exposed and will say it again Cheesy.
He choked 2 times already and now they are at a 0-2 deficit. If Bucks will lose again in the next round, the chances of them being eliminated in the playoffs would be huge and there is a higher chance too that Giannis will be traded to other teams. Just my prediction only Cheesy.
