Pag ang bitcoin bumaba then the alt season will start you'll see some storm coming sa kanila unti unti yang magpapakita mg resistance. If I were to invest I will not go for stablecoin rather sa mga dips na altcoins.

Maybe you can also hpdate the OP instead of just pksting a new one. ( sorry mate, I just love to see my name everywhere hahaha 😂 ) you can do it just like what Coin-1's doing on his thread. It's more better, I think, for the reason some of us are still looking at the OP.
I just hope you don't mind 😁
I second that and also instead of just linking the profile summary of the member why not linked it to their actual merit summary? I am sure may information pa naman doon na maglink sa mga sent and received merits dito sa local board natin though it is limited to 120 days only. For example: rhomelmabinirhomelmabini

yes, I got banned three times. You've been banned three times yet you still don't know the rules of those who evade their bans? You're the best example of a person who think that this forum are only for monetary purposes. I'd like to wave a goodbye for you. source

I think there is no need to compare these two, In fact they complement each other sa tingin ko maka help ang libra mag spread ng awareness sa public about cryptocurrency and blockchain tech, etc.
No they are not, because for sure Libra will compare what are there advantages over Bitcoin, it will not be sound friendly over time as most partners of Libra are anti-bitcoin for example si Paypal, VISA at Mastercard, you name it. They may spread awareness about the good usage ng blockchain technology but if you'll see the main concept it is all about who will dominate.

Come on! If you have same aim of the project Pundi X why you haven't said so on the very first place on your whitepaper or on your site. Now been caught underhanded you'll just explain what your project want to be? Seems unprofessional. On where you mentioned Newbies bumping the thread up:
Yes that is correct that it's full of shitpost from spambies with all context of only "good project", "nice project" blah blah. You want proofs? Here is my report history and I highlighted just one report to see that it is really your thread.

I did put my private key there, not my main stellar address, but zero balance. I am just generated new stellar address and waiting what scaming happen next
I do not know if that's wise decision at all but let us see what will happen and as it has zero balance I guess no activity will be done likely if it's to true they'll airdrop 1:1 for all XLM holders and as it is zero balance too and sure it's scam no XLM will be gone. Safe to say let's wait for the hardfork this 27th and sit around and watch what will they do.

thank you for the thread link, what alternative wallet would u suggest?
Please use hardware wallet as it is more secure, alternative to blockchain.com will still be an online wallet, nay. can u plz suggest me any desktop wallets (i would be really happy if there are desktop wallets, which ui is as great as blockchain com)
I suggest you should read this first https://cointelegraph.com/bitcoin-for-beginners/what-is-bitcoin-wallets#hardware, it indicates there not only type of desktop wallets but also some ways to provide you better security and choose the best wallet you can use, still hardware wallets are the best.

Cybersecurity researchers from at least two firms today unveiled details of a new strain of malware that targets Windows and macOS systems with a Linux-based cryptocurrency mining malware.
It may sound strange, but it's true.
Dubbed "LoudMiner" and also "Bird Miner," the attack leverages command-line based virtualization software on targeted systems to silently boot an image of Tiny Core Linux OS that already contains a hacker-activated cryptocurrency mining software in it. Spotted by researchers at ESET and Malwarebytes, attackers are distributing this malware bundled with pirated and cracked copies of VST (Virtual Studio Technology) software on the Internet and via Torrent network since August 2018. This new malware, first detected in August last year, comes in at least 4 different versions and, it can be completely removed only by resetting the operating system.
At the moment it is not known how much damage it has caused or how many Monero have been mined, but it is clear that once again Monero (XMR) remains the preferred cryptocurrency for this type of illegal activity. For those that runs these cryptominers this was a serious issue for you, imagine this has been running for almost a year now wonder how many users been affected.

Good to know that those kind of threads really help, I'm keeping eye on the many security topics so maybe it will be useful to post important flaws/vulnerabilities here. Just wondering if this is a good place them.
There isn't/aren't a specific guideline/s where to post these kind of threads base on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0#post_guidelines. I guess it will still be appropriate to post here or maybe Meta? If there will be a childboard for B&H just for warnings related to software and hardware security that will be a nice feature.

Seen this one on "Forbes" website about their blog for cybersecurity. I want to post it here as well for the bitcointalk users to know especially those DELL users but I was getting out of time and moreover I really forgotten this one. Thanks for the heads up @iasenko.

None of the above i think is likely what happend.
It's more likely that some ICO or airdrop sold their database and IP adresses of users who signed up for them, and now checks if people have a deribit account using that email list. If so -> they send an email with your leaked email adress + IP that someone is trying to log into your deribit account to phish you.
Or perhaps deribit is lying and their database got hacked. In which case the attackers would probably get the user's IP adresses + Emails + hashed passwords. (Although the emails & ips are probably hashed as well. so i doubt this.)
Exactly the scenario would be like that; it is some breached from some ICO or exchanges or Deribit has some issues about their database yet still silent not to panic people. Actually those above images are not mine but for some people that have accounts at Deribit that geeting some issues but luckily so far no account been compromised, 2FA really is a good thing. I have no account in there it just happened when I joined in there telegram group this chat been the sole topic most of the time.

Haha na guilty ako nito kasi meron din akong nagawang thread na translated siya from other board although I revived slight but parang ganun na rin eh since it is already posted on other board outside. When it comes for the sake of merit parang ganun na rin kahit ako o lahat naman tayo naghahangad niyan kasi yan ang big barrier natin to rank up. Pero ang pag translate to a tagalog version from other board is para sa akin walang ka effort2x kung nagtranslate ka lang. Mas maganda kung you add something spices para din madagdagan yung kaalaman na makukuha natin from the original post.
But for me that's effort in a sense parin na mai-translate mo ito into our local language remember the time you spent just to make it clear sa iba nating kababayan na not so familiar sa mga tenikal na mga kasulatan ng crypto. Though in my opinion that's half-effort as that content already made by other user but it's still worth emulating na may naiaambag ka parin at nakakatulong sa iba, pero kung for sake of merit lang likely that's a different story.

so deribit database was hacked then? and there are no further steps to make sure user account is safe except than telling their users that they need to use 2fa and update their password?
It isn't hacked but somehow an attack from random email list and co-founder said maybe it was a breach from ICO or other exchanges. https://haveibeenpwned.com/ you can check there if your email been part of some breaches.

How do you really know that MrDongyy is actually MrFreeRoMan other than by seeing someone liking to his Facebook and Twitter accounts?
His response to my statement I guess. You're one of the most merited member from the forum but ban evasion is one of serious violation you did, I can't still find the reason of the ban but I guess it's for sure a plagiarized content.
Absolutely agree! But this is not good, at least for me! Thanks to the forum, gave me a lot in terms of information and rethinking everything that is happening! I appreciate it. All the best and further progress! And to be exact it isn't witch-hunting, I'm no Hansel or Gretel, I'm no affinity or whatsoever to them, I'd just came to search for the plagiarized content (seems that's the reason of his ban) but those accounts I just came to encounter as he used it on VEIL bounty so I search for some similarities. Probably the "Mr" might be a good linking, and besides MrDonggy hasn't just used those social media accounts once and I am sure no frame-up happens. Yeah it's not a violation to have some alts but ban evasion does. Well, this is kind of gray area here
For example, you have two alt accounts (which is allowed and sort of normal on the forum). Now one of your accounts get banned for whatever reason (though reason may matter in this case). Should your second account get automatically banned as well? If it should but wasn't, would then posting under the remaining account count as ban evasion? If it shouldn't and wasn't, should then posting from the live account not count as ban evasion either? Are the forum rules crystal clear about these possible cases or there are no such rules at all?
Yes and to be honest I guess it's ethical that you should declare your alt accounts.

From Deribit chat group. https://twitter.com/DeribitExchange/status/1142061912198438915Message from one of the admin at Deribit. [In reply to SHIELD CYBER SECURITY] We are aware of this. It seems a database was breached somewhere. If you don't re-use passwords and have 2FA enabled for log ins you have no issues.I guess this was due to the uptrend of bitcoin touching at $11k, there will be likely some possible scenario to other exchanges so I advice stay cautious as always. Always secure 2FA on all your accounts.
