Dank, I hope you'll get the help you need and eventually experience egodeath.  Being at inner peace with one's self is quite rewarding and uplifting.  You don't talk suicide when you don't have an ego.  Smiley
For him to get the help he needs, he has to admit he has a problem first. Not going to happen.

Of course, help can be forced upon him but I doubt that would make any difference at all.
6022  Economy / Lending / Re: .65 BTC loan on: April 28, 2014, 08:37:29 PM
Vod, you're going to hell.  Not that I wish you to, but you are.  Unless you change shit drastically.  Hopefully you get it straight next lifetime or the next few thousand.
LOL, you just can't make up stuff like this. Yeah, Vod is the one who needs to change shit drastically Roll Eyes
Now to stay on topic, stop asking for loans on this forum and ask one from your parents to pay back all your debts.

I have another suggestion since it is going pretty slow at the moment.
Raise my contribution to 0.02 BTC per page (will keep aside 0.06 in total for 3 pages).

Do you think this is a good idea?

Done, I raised our prize as well.

So, now everyone can get up to 0.04 for every page of this thread.

Btw, we have to give prizes for page #3, which one do you choose?
You can just reply to a qualifying post of your choice and let him know that he wins and how to claim the prize.
Make it bolded or something Smiley
I think I am the only one who is eligible for a prize on page 3,  and it would be silly to send myself a prize for that.

Danks sig address, Total Received   447.68602302 BTC

WTFLUL

Back from the days when bitcoins were only a buck or so apiece.

He doesn't even control the address anymore, but he can't modify his signature because he is a scammer.
I'm guessing a fair share of that is now probably in the FBI's hands.
6028  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin 2014 in Amsterdam on: April 27, 2014, 10:01:20 PM
Not that expensive imho, certainly compared to some tech conferences.
Plus the connections you could make there could be far more valuable than 400 euro.

I agree with you. But I wonder is this event the most worth visiting one. I googled and found out that there are other Bitcoin conferences that will be on almost the same period as Bitcoin 2014.
It depends, for me it would be since it wouldn't require me to travel far. But I'd also like to attend some smaller meetups first to meet some of the people in the community.
6029  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MechanicalBit on: April 27, 2014, 09:06:06 PM
I would only be interested in investing if you already had something to show.

I'm sure you could already make something without having to pay for hosting etc.

6030  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER: Scott Harding, Durham - Bitcoin Sales on Facebook, bitsoctty on: April 27, 2014, 05:35:54 PM
How is it possible that he scams through Paypal?
Is he using his own Paypal account?

I mean when you charge back, you just get your money back after a certain amount of time, right?

Edit: He asks to send it as a gift so you can't charge back, missed that.
6031  Economy / Lending / Re: Small loan via bitbond for server fee on: April 27, 2014, 04:55:16 PM
Can't lend you because Vod would give me negative feedback, sorry.
6032  Economy / Lending / Re: .65 BTC loan on: April 27, 2014, 04:08:47 PM
I am not laughing at you Dank, I only pity you, that you can't see that this isn't the right path to follow.
The loaning has to stop, people may think it's good entertainment, but it's not.

What happens if someone actually gives you another loan and you lose/spend all the money again?
You would be causing more pain to more people, you would be undermining your own goal of ascension.
6033  Economy / Lending / Re: .65 BTC loan on: April 27, 2014, 03:40:30 PM
Dank, if you really wanted an ascension of consciousness, you would not be asking for money.
As long as you keep thinking "What can I do to help Dank", that will never happen.

You need to be thinking "What can I do to help others" without expecting anything in it for yourself.
You say Vod's ego is too big, well it's quite the opposite, it's actually your own ego that has grown too big.
6034  Economy / Lending / Re: .65 BTC loan on: April 26, 2014, 09:43:58 PM
So what do you all wish for me to do?  Become squall's slave for the next year while the government pushes their agenda of world domination?  Not happening.  I am going to free the world, give you all the universe and squall will be paid back in that process.

It is essential for me to have the equipment necessary to create the change I envision, including guitar equipment.  The further I progress with guitar, the more momentum I will gain and the more peace will spread through the world.

You may not see the plan now, but trust me, it is unfolding perfectly and I will be able to pay squall back much sooner this way than if I continued paying $100 each month for years.
Does the completion of that plan require you to get 'loans' from people?

Really guy, just take your responsibility and do everything in your power to pay back squall, so yes become Squall's slave for the next year.

6036  Economy / Lending / Re: .65 BTC loan on: April 26, 2014, 06:46:04 PM
Please, stop spending money on everything but the bare essentials and pay back Squall before you do anything else.
Even if you had collateral to offer, I would advise anyone from lending to you until you have paid back Squall.

I know you have an agreement with him to pay back what you can, but let's be honest, that won't cut it.
Your only option is to get a job and pay him back with your wage. (Unless you already have a job)
If you start any more 'projects' you will just end up deeper in the hole, I am 100% certain of that.

Also, imagine how Squall must feel when reading topics like this, it would feel like a slap in the face, seeing how you continue to ask for money for yourself without any regard to the debt you are in.
I really hope, for your sake, that you see some value in this post and at least think about getting a job and paying Squall back.
6037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's everyone's bitcoin story? on: April 26, 2014, 05:40:05 PM
I heard about Bitcoin from a friend of mine Len Sassaman, a cryptographer.
This was back in 2011, I believe.

After he passed away he was memorialized in the blockchain, you can check it out in this topic:

6038  Economy / Lending / Re: .65 BTC loan on: April 26, 2014, 04:31:42 PM
Why do you need the money anyway? If you want to share that...

You need to collect collateral that you can easily sell for .7BTC ($360) and have it in your hands before you send this thief any coins, or you are just encouraging more scammers to come here.

Squall initially lent dank coins in "good faith" that he would be repaid in one month.  Dank screwed him over.

Dank is making "monthly" payments - paying as little as possible as late as possible each month with no interest.  Squall won't be paid off for 8 YEARS!
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=325070.0

Dank forced this on Squall.  Then dank takes what little money he has, borrows more and buys material greed items for himself.

Why?  Dank believes the world is ending soon and he won't need to continue making these payments.   Undecided

Ok I think I have some catching up to do, though reading all Dank related topics would take me a couple of hours at least.
About the collateral, I would not need to sell it because I could use it myself, but on second thought it would be pretty unethical of me to do this loan.
