6021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: give your best advice on: April 03, 2018, 10:30:17 AM
Seeing the current market my best advise to you would be stay away from ICOs right now. I am interested in ICOs too since it is a great way to earn huge money in a short time but seeing the current market situations with the falling of BTC price and most of the ICOs turning scams, I am myself staying away from them and will advise you the same. It would be better that you invest in potential coins like BTC, ETH, EOS, ADA etc...  as these coins are very cheap right now and are more prone to give profit in the upcoming months.
6022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [UNI] Union | Ecosystem for collaborative savings on blockchain on: April 03, 2018, 10:18:36 AM
The project seems interesting to me. Can you please elaborate what type of lending authentication you are going to do ?
Is it just the authentication part on the lending platform or you have other things planned on the lending platform.

Thanks pwanjain for your feedback, we will employ a combination of our own developed algorithm, with some of the commercially available licensed technology solutions to detect and prevent fraud when it comes to lending. As we grow we will collect the transaction history and past dataset and uses techniques such as knowledge based authentication (KBA), and also behavioral analytics.

Having said that we are just providing the platform to facilitate collaborative saving. On the consumer product people can create their own group and save collectively, and people will initially only invite someone who trust so that there are lesser number of default. On the Business to Business/enterprise product, manufacturing companies will initiate and invite collaborative savings for their distributors, this will give distributors opportunity to buy products from manufacturer and provide a way for interest free credit for longer period without exposing the credit risk to the manufacturing company.

Thanks,
GetUnion Team
Good to see that you have planned out the things well. I would like to say that in order to succeed the project you will have to gain more tryst and credibility from the people so that they get involved in your ICO.
All the best.
6023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The FBI Warns About Scams On Crypto Users on: April 02, 2018, 02:58:09 PM
'Fraud Technical Support' by the FBI Internet Crime Compaint Center (IC3) the agency released a public notice regarding the increase in fraudulent activity. By 2017, they receive 11,000 complaints with a total loss of $ 15 Million.

IC3 notes that criminals act as security, customers, or technical support representatives who offer to resolve the issue. And when contact is formed, they go to their plan.

This is nothing! Why they don't publish how many non-crypto complaints they got and what is the loss there. I'm sure that the numbers will be x100 the crypto losses!

They are making it to scare people who are still staying away from crypto. If you don't have common sense and you are greedy as f, you will be scammed anyway.
Exactly ! Media is just following the orders of those big whales who want to create a panic in the market. This why  the media keep coming up with these kind of news which creates a negative impact on the people. The bews might be true but then what is not so corrupted in this world. Hackers and criminals are spread all over the world. The crypto community is effected with the same crimes as in the real world. Why do media keep on blaming crypto for this whereas it's the people who does this and should be blamed for.
6024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do you cash out... on: April 02, 2018, 02:51:49 PM
First of all, you will have to find an exchange that supports your national currency and then you will have to exchange your coins for it . You can directly exchange BTC for fiat and get the cash in your bank account. If you are not able to find any exchange that supports your national currency then you can visit localbitcoins.com and exchange BTC to fiat. You will have to trade your BTC to a trader on localbitcoins and then the trader will deposit the money into your bank.
6025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency price predictor based on Artificial Intelligence on: April 02, 2018, 01:47:55 PM
First of all, there is no point of making any predictions on cryptocurrencies since it does not depend on any technical activity and is based on psychological factors such as news and events from around the globe. It rather acts in the present and so it is waste of time making any fakse predictions.
Secondly, most of the coins have a red cross in your website and the coins with the green ticks have no predictions inside at all.
6026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: April 02, 2018, 08:46:52 AM
You have invested at the peak price of BTC Shocked . You should have waited a month as you would have got it then at half the price. Anyway, it's good that you are still holding whatever you have got. Many would have sold their coins in your case. It's true that the market can't be red all the time. I believe the same, a coin has to go to the opposite direction after a while. Lets see how long BTC takes to move towards the other side.
6027  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling is not a bad thing. on: April 02, 2018, 04:50:28 AM
It is an obvious thing because nothing can ho in one direction for eternity. A coin that goes up for a period of time has to come down one day. A coin that goes up and down, which moves in both the directions gives the sign that it's a healthy coin and is more prone to stability. Bitcoin has been going up and down  since 9 years and this is how a steady coin grows. So for me , whether coin goes up or down doesn't matter unless it is moving in some direction.
6028  Economy / Speculation / Re: What causes Bitcoin to drop? on: April 02, 2018, 04:34:52 AM
There are many derivatives through which Bitcoin is getting depreciated in price. The reasons you stated above might be true but they are not the only reasons for Bitcoin's depreciation. Bitcoin has been down now for more than 3 months and it needs multiple reasons for it to be down for such a long time. Obviously BTC is getting through a bad phase right now and only time can take us through this wave. We will have to wait until the things get settled for once.
6029  Economy / Speculation / Re: Opportunity to Invest in Bitcoin !!! on: March 31, 2018, 05:33:21 PM
Yes it indeed is in its bottom of the month. How are you so sure that Bitcoin will recover its price and cross $20k by the end of the year. It may or may not cross $20k by the end of the year but at some point it will increase in price which is why we should invest in it now to gain more profit in the future.
6030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin and other coins need is REAL demand on: March 30, 2018, 01:16:10 PM
2013 was way worse: the trading action happening is controlled by a single insider bot to artificially increase the price that isn't sustainable that resulted into the 2013 ATH, or the first known (or sensationalized) bitcoin bubble. Right now, I can say that the demand during the 2017 run isn't artificial, or isn't purely manipulated to be precise. Mind you, the power of FOMO has been proven countless times in numerous occasions, so you cannot simply say that everything was a manipulated turn of events. As for bitcoin's use case, many people see it more of an asset rather than a currency. It could be a viable currency with limitations, but right now it works excellent as an investment vehicle and people are surely taking advantage of this hype.
Thats quite true my friend. Not everything that happened last year was a market manipulation. There were many number of new investors that took part in the game and some are here for the long run. The ones who know the real value of Bitcoin will stay in it for a long term and those who are exiting the market now causing decrease in Bitcoin's price are most probably the ones who were in this game just to make money. I believe in Bitcoin and the blockchain technology which is why I am not worried of the price dump because I know when the manipulation is over the price will start rising.
6031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When will we get there on: March 30, 2018, 01:04:47 PM
That's a really tough dream you have mate Grin . You know that there are thousands of people out there who have thousands of BTC in their wallets. Even if it was a few people, yoir dream "might" have been achieved but since there are so many people with such huge amounts of BTC, it will take a whole lot of time for their accounts to go null. I don't think it can even happen . So instead of dreaming such thing, we can think of a better strategy to gain profit despite the whales manipulating the market. This is the only way we can survive in this Crypto market.
6032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Soon the trend will be green which ALTcoin better to buy ? on: March 30, 2018, 12:40:21 PM
Well done mate.  That's a very good selection of coins you have done. EOS definitely has the potential and it will result in good gains. I have myself planned to invest in it.
Neo and Cardano also are my coins of interest but will wait for the right time to invest in it. I believe Ethereum is under valued right now and it will be great to get it at the current price. Let me know your thoughts on ETH.
6033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am surprised !!! I am confused what is happening right now. on: March 30, 2018, 12:16:31 PM
There has been a lot of FUD lately in the crypto market due to which the people who entered the market lately are in a panic. As we can see, the market was growing in a stable way until last mid year. But then a surge was there in BTC's price and many new investors joined the rally which in turn spiked up bitcoin's price. Now since the FUD, the latter people are exiting the market in a loss which is why the price is keeping on decreasing. Do not worry and just hold on to your investments because after a few months the price will again spike up. It will, it has to , at some point of time.
6034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I do not believe ico anymore on: March 30, 2018, 10:25:50 AM
Its sad to see people like you loosing money in scam ICOs. Despite being a Full member, you weren't able to analyse a scam ICO. Its better not to invest in ICOs at all unless it is from a trusted source.
According to research, therr are around 80% ICOs which turn into scams and are not listed on exchanges at all which makes me wonder why people invest in them at the first place. Its a lot better to buy altcoins and loose money in them than to invest in ICOs.
6035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Planning to sell all my btc as its too low now :( on: March 29, 2018, 02:39:43 PM
The truth is that all the BTC supporters will say you not to sell your BTC and the ETH supporterd will say you to buy ETH. In this case the best option would be to diversify your money into both of them. Sell half of the BTC you have and conver it to ETH. In this way you will be able to get the peofit in both of the cryptocurrencies.
6036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Request: Blockchain Project Promotion Ideas, Experience & Best Practices? on: March 29, 2018, 12:56:24 PM
Hi there Crypto-aficionados, our team is actively launching a Blockchain Platform AtlasPlatform.

We realize that for making this a success our perseverance and desire are not enough to stand out from the hundred of ideas out there. So we need your help to answer this questions:

- What is the best way to promote our project to you? what medium makes you pay attention to new ideas?
- Where are you getting your crypto-related information?
- What are the promotional best practices in your opinion?
- What channels of communication you use to get that daily crypto-juice?

We are very grateful you took the time to read this.
First of all Congratulations on the ICO . To answer your questions,
1. The best way to promote an ICO/project would be here on Bitcointalk. Launch signature and bounty campaigns on the forum which will grab more attention and attraction towards an ICO.

2. I personally get my crypto related information from websites such as cointelegraph and coinmarketcap . Also this forum is a repository of all the crypto information one could possibly need.

3. Campaigns which promote projects on twitter and other websites and telegram channels are the best option for promotions .

4. I use my smartphone as it is able to handle all of my work. I rely on telegram and bitcointalk to access all of my stuff.

6038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help, I'm looking to grab some ETH.. on: March 29, 2018, 12:30:07 PM
what's a good entry point I have a couple extra bucks I would like to grab 0.5  of ETH does it look like it will drop much lower from ATM prices?
Looking at the current market conditions it is hard to predict whether the market will spike up, decline or remain in the same condition for a while.
The crypto market has been facing continuous declines over the past few months which is why it is tough to say if it will go more down or will it spike up. There are chances that it might go up since it has been long enough now with the declines but then there are rumors spreading that the price won't go up until a few more months. Now, it depends on the individual person whether he wants to buy/hold or not.
You can also try splitting the amount and trying your luck. Just buy around 0.2 ETH now and wait. If the price goes more down then buy more and if not then you might hold/sell depending on you need.
6039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wepower. Sell or hold in wallet? on: March 29, 2018, 12:17:27 PM
I believe wepower really has a potential in it. It has many number of followers and a good team behind it. The developers are constantly trying to improvise the technology which is why there is a good chance for it to be worth a lot more in future. You must decide if you want to sell the tokens or not. If you don't really need any money right now then it's better to hold the tokens as for now.
6040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is these the REASON why crypto-currencies are dropping? on: March 29, 2018, 11:00:15 AM
Panic is what creating a lot of sells in these days. People thought that the G20 summit meeting would bring a spike in the price of BTC but that didn't happen. Bitcoin was already suffering a decline from 3 months and nothing has created a good spike yet. After it fell from its peak value , BTC hardly reached $11k once but then fell back and is struggling hard to recover the price. All we xan do is wait until half the year is completed because it is at that time when people start investing loads of money into it. May be  we can see a good spike after July.
