6021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will hit $1 million in 2020 because of mathematics: John McAfee on: April 21, 2019, 12:01:23 PM
McAfee is old news now.
like any other addict, he overdid it in 2017 with his ridiculousness and he exhausted his temporary and illusionary popularity as much as he could to make the most amount of money from it. and exactly because of that, nobody cares about what he says anymore because everyone already knows how full of himself he is...

Hey if anyone buys bitcoins based on his tweets then he’s really foolish, while I like his optimism to see growth in bitcoins the target he’s given is impossible to achieve. I also remember reading his tweet where he says he claims to knows the identity of satoshi, here again he’s misleading people and lying openly. I don’t understand what gains does he get by making such absurd statements.
6022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $10k Before June, Possible? on: April 21, 2019, 07:38:28 AM
This is not easy . rise of 100 percent in price bitcoin and that mean 200 percent in prices of ltc , eth , bch..,  Within three months!!
Let us be realistic. And do not regret in  the end for buying expensive.
I do not know why prices crashed to 3200 per btc before 6 month or less?
Those reasons of crash have not been resolved

Hey you have echoed my sentiments it’s not possible to see such a rally in such a short while, and I feel we should not even hope for one cause it shall not be sustainable in the long run. I feel at max we can see $6.5k levels by June, as these are sustainable levels for bitcoins. Also since you’re not aware of the crash let me inform that we were in the extended bear phase, people were dumping bitcoins hence the crash happened.

6024  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: April 20, 2019, 05:47:50 PM
Has anyone ever gave away 200 thousand dollars before ? I still can't believe it, this will be the biggest promotion done in crypto space ever as far as I know. Not just casino by the way I mean like in any crypto business/services in general. Maybe like back when bitcoin didn't worth so much and some people gave away money and now those bitcoins worth 200 thousand dollars, that is a possibility but it is not remotely the same because at that time it wasn't 200k, you had to get it and wait for it.

Plus, if we get it now and wait for the all time high prices to come back it will be like 800k giveaway anyway. I know I sound like a crazy excited silly guy right now but honestly I am a crazy excited silly guy right now Cheesy. This is going to be so huge, I can't wait for it to start and than end to finally accept I am not the winner Cheesy.

Hey you’re absolutely correct this is one of the biggest and if I may add legit giveaway in the crypto community, they have been paying faucets to users for a long time but this is as big as it gets. Also the final price of the giveaway shall change depending on the current market value of the Lamborghini when the winner is declared. It’s also pertinent to note that with the value of bitcoin prices rising, the winner is destined to make lots of profits.

6026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's your favorite to win this year's Europa League ? on: April 20, 2019, 11:09:02 AM
Chelsea and Arsenal have a great opportunity to win this season. But I favor Chelsea a lot, there are several factors such as the readiness of the player which is the benchmark that Chelsea are far more prepared than arsenal. This is indeed the second Europa caste title, but the prestige is still there because anyone who wins the Europa League champion will automatically enter the champions league zone group phase. This certainly makes Chelsea and the arsenal compete because the two teams cannot be sure to enter the top 4 in EPL. There is still a lot that can happen so the europa league is a very beautiful way to enter the champions league next season when they fail to enter the top 4 of EPL this season.

Hey I don’t think Chelsea will win the Europa league as their players yet haven’t got used to Sarris methods, their fans keeps on shouting against them which demotivates the players. I feel Arsenal are a very strong team, and more balanced in comparison to Chelsea. Also I am praying those two do not win it as they’ll automatically qualify for the champions league round, and my beloved club Manchester United will miss out on a champions league spot.
6027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: April 20, 2019, 06:57:38 AM

Real Madrid must be restrained again by a team whose position is in the middle of the standings. It seems like Zidane's return hasn't changed much mentally from the Real Madrid players. Last week's draw reduced the Sevilla points which are just below Real Madrid in the standings. If the Real Madrid game continues like this then this will be dangerous for them.

Hey I don’t think anyone was really expecting Zidane to step in and arrest the slide, his role now is simple target a top 3 finish decide who needs to stay, and who needs to leave. I would not advise anyone to gamble on thier matches this season, as their players do not have the winning mentality they once had. Also I have heard they have 500 millions to spend in the summer transfer window, so I’m excited to see whom they spend it on.
6028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Now FREE to JOIN] IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussion on: April 20, 2019, 04:00:02 AM
I don't know what Uthappa was thinking when he was out there at the crease. 9 runs out of 20 would be recognized as a poor display even in 50-over matches. And this was a T20 match, with a target of 214 runs. In the end even Russell could not save the KKR. They had plenty of wickets in hand, but fell short by 10 runs. Yes... just 10 runs.

Hey Uthappa has been out of form since the last few matches and I was surprised he made it to the playing 11, I feel KKR should drop him and select someone else. While KKR batsmen played really well it was their bowlers, and their sloppy fielding which let them down in the end. I feel KKR would have win this type of match on any other day, but RCB had lot of luck going their way and ultimately they got the victory.
6029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 19, 2019, 05:35:09 PM
Bale is better suited for the English Premier League. Pace, speed, strength and athleticism. But he has had a fair share of injuries as well and the price is too high. I think that at times he has been unfairly criticised by Real supporters and often booed out.

Hey you’re right had Bale returned to the premier league he would have set it on fire with his pace, while his injuries did hamper him in his prime years he was sidelined for Ronaldo which also hampered his progress. I don’t think any team will pay more than 50 million for him, so it’ll be interesting to see which team bids for him. Also it’s rumoured that Real Madrid have a budget of 450 million to spend, so I would say they would go for Hazard, Pogba, Mane and Sancho what do you think?.
6030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: April 19, 2019, 01:45:16 PM

I just posted an update in our Cloudbet thread but I thought I'd share here too:

Quote
Our Game of Thrones markets went down on Sunday before the start of series 8, but now they are back in black like Jon after a night with Melisandre!  Cheesy

Not only have our minimum stakes dropped on our existing markets, but we are also offering new lines on specific outcomes from series 8! Here's a few to whet your appetite:

- Will Jon Snow marry Daenerys Targaryen in season 8: Yes (2.36) No (1.54)
- Will Bronn Kill Tyrion Lannister in season 8: Yes (4.33) No (1.19)
- Will Sandor Kill Gregor Clegane in season 8: Yes (1.45) No (2.62)
- Will Arya Stark marry Gendry in season 8: Yes (2.55) No (1.47)

You can find the full list of our Game of Thrones markets here.

My favourite out of all the new lines is probably Brienne to marry Tormund (Yes - 5.340), but only because I ship those two hard and want to see 'ol Tormund finally get the girl of his dreams  Wink

Has anyone placed a bet after episode 1? There wasn't too much revealed that changed the odds, but it'll be interesting to hear if anyone has seen the lines they bet on drop significantly after it aired.

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Hey while I would love to see Jon marry Daenerys I feel she’ll die with his child, so I don’t think he’ll get to marry her. Also it’s all but confirmed Bronn will kill our beloved Tyrion, for all those who need proof remember Olenna who poisoned Joffrey, died of poison and so did other stars like Ned, Littlefinger met their deaths the same way they gave it to others. I don’t think Arya is a wifey material, she’s not going to marry and settle down.
6031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 19, 2019, 10:59:40 AM
This week Juventus will meet Fiorentina in their next match in Serie A and they must immediately forget their failure to qualify for the CL semi-finals, even though they already have a good opportunity and opportunity to be able to get the most prestigious trophy in continental Europe by bringing megastars like CR7 this season. I think the next match Juventus will make this match as a result of their feeling of disappointment with a landslide victory.

Hey I feel Juventus will definitely be effected by their loss, I’m sure not even a single player in their team would have thought they would have been eliminated by Ajax. I agree with you it’s important to shift focus on the league, and try and win by a big margin to send out a message to their fans and their competitors that they’re yet strong.

tomorrow's Inter-Roma derby will be for sure one of the games you have to see live or on the TV

I'm giving a little advantage to Inter to win the game, and there will be over 2.5 goals scored for sure

Also I’m not keen to bet on Serie A teams they’re very unpredictable, so I would advise caution with your bet on Inter.
6032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 19, 2019, 06:51:02 AM
Another one of my favorites, Tsitsipas was beaten by Medvedev, 6-2, 1-6, 6-4.

Djovokic had a easy day, disposing Fritz, 6-3, 6-0. Thiem is fighting hard in the first set, down 0-5 against Lajovic. While Nadal up 6-0 in the first set against Dimitrov. Fognini vs Zverev in the next 40 minutes.

Hey I was bit surprised to read that Tsitsipas was beaten he’s been in good form lately, so was counting on his victory going ahead I hope he wins more matches. I’m not surprised that Djokovic had a walkover he’s been in great touch, and he just keeps on improving with each and every match. Also I was expecting Nadal to be at his best despite his recent injuries, and he didn’t disappoint me at all I hope he continues to play like this.
6033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2018-2019 on: April 19, 2019, 03:58:39 AM
Another good results for premier league team Chelsea and Arsenal, congrats to them. Both champions league and Europa league have premier league team, so nice. Chelsea vs slavia match, nice try for Slavia, i thought they will make a big comeback lol but nope. Also good job Arsenal win on away match.

Hey indeed this week was good for the premier league clubs first Tottenham makes it to the semi finals of the champions league, and then Arsenal and Chelsea win their respective games in Europa. I feel both won with a very small margin, and it’s risky in my opinion as it won’t afford them much protection in the next match. Also I feel Arsenal can progress ahead, but it feels Chelsea will crash out they don’t look sharp to me.
6034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 18, 2019, 04:19:31 PM
The Australia team has been named for the World Cup and guess what? Smith and Warner have been named in the team which is great to see. On paper Australia have a strong line up that will be tough to beat. They would have to be favourite or second favourite to win the World Cup after Smith and Warner being named. As we know they haven't had much match practice so I'm expecting both players to play in all of Australia's warm up matches.

Hey there’s nothing surprising about those two being included for the World Cup, they were called to Dubai earlier in the year to gel with the team. I’ll second that Australia have a very strong team, and both of them are getting match practice in IPL too. Also I feel Australia and England are the team to beat in the World Cup, so it’ll be interesting if these two make it to the finals.
6035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: April 18, 2019, 01:43:28 PM
@ raja bhai I understand your sentiments about Dhoni's failure, I have seen his bad performances as well but only with the bat so far. Having said that.

Indian fans and team management not expecting Dhoni to play match winning inning with the bat. Everyone is aware of that he's not young anymore and can't play destructive innings.

Dhoni's role in middle order is more like a anchoring the inning if Indian top order fail to perform and wickets keep falling from another end. If in this world cup Dhoni managed to maintain his strike rate close to 100, then job well done.

It's true that during his innings sometimes he creates pressure on non striking batsman but it's part of the deal and comes with the packaging, no one can argue or do much about that.

His main role here is wicket keeping and he's arguably one of the best and clever wicket keeper in the world cricket. Dhoni has tons of strategies to share with bowlers and viral from behind the wickets.

Hey while it’s true the ex Indian captain has been been choosen for his experience, and his abilities behind the wicket. I feel the selecters have erred in not picking Pant who would have provided support for his slow batting, and he could also play the game changer innings which would have won India many matches. Also let’s hope their decision to drop Pant doesn’t backfire, cause India’s batting line up is weak except Kohli who can alone score a lot of runs.
6036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's your favorite to win this year's Champions League ? on: April 18, 2019, 10:33:55 AM
Bookies are showing barca as greater fav vs liverpool to win this - the market has gone mad liverpool are way ahead of barca right now smart money would be on liverpool.

Hey while Barcelona and Liverpool are the obvious favourites I feel Ajax may just stun the world and win the Champions League. I know I’m being harsh on Tottenham by not even considering them in the contest, but I don’t feel they’ll make it to the finals. Also Ajax may not have the star studded lineup that other teams have, but they’re young and hungry to win the league in my opinion.
6037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: April 18, 2019, 06:52:19 AM
Most of the people states that gambling is form of entertainment but the reality is different gambling is like business where people look to make more money from investing little money but most of them will get failed.

So in your view gambling is business or entertainment, answer honestly. Cheesy

Hey this question cannot have a universally accepted answer as each one will have a totally different view towards this question. In my case as a gambler I consider it as a form of entertainment, part of my leisure activities however others may consider it as a way for earning money quickly. Also those who’re running casinos will consider it as a business, as they’re investing money into it for profitable returns.
6038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 18, 2019, 03:44:59 AM
Oh my god, what a game dude, what a game! Manchester city vs Tottenham, VAR is man of the match lol. I can't believe it, i thought Man City will win after that super last minute goal, unfortunate no goals allowed VAR strike. Sad for Pep but grats to Tottenham, Son is really good. Thanks for both teams, what a game.

Hey these quarter final matches were one of the best matches I have seen in a while, Barcelona dominated Manchester United and rightly deserved victory, Oles team selection were poor to be honest. I had said it here last week Ajax shall knock out Juventus, and I’m glad they did as now they’re my favourites to win it. Also last nights match between Manchester City and Tottenham was an epic match, Var did play spoilsport but both teams gave it all they had and happy for Tottenham they deserved the victory.
6039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A city in Canada is letting people pay taxes in Bitcoin on: April 17, 2019, 07:02:47 AM
Canada has long supported cryptocurrency, but this can be good news for the world. So that other countries can imitate Canada in the use of bitcoin, and educate the public about bitcoin

Hey yes their Prime Minister has a lenient approach towards bitcoins, and that’s why adoption rate has grown a lot there. I really like the idea of paying one’s taxes in bitcoins as people won’t hide the fact they have money in the form of bitcoins, and government will receive a steady revenue from the taxes. Also like you have said I’m hoping other countries imitate them, and allow taxpayers the option to pay taxes via bitcoins.
6040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Arthur Hayes predicts bitcoin rise to $50,000 and the end of cash on: April 17, 2019, 03:28:52 AM
Too soon to call it the end of fiat money as we know it. There certainly is a problem from banks printing more and more money each day though I can't seem to find any direct correlation of both from each other, even though it has been pointed countless of times that bitcoin's rise may be attributed to the fall of cash in the next 2 years or so. Also, the governments and banks would surely not let their toy get beaten up that easily and will surely find ways in order to revive it. We are too far from a cash-less society for as long as we don't take up the initiative to use and receive bitcoins and crypto whenever possible.

Hey fiat money will never end and there’s no way to make all that fiat money suddenly worthless, as crypto’s are yet not favoured by most countries. I also know places where internet doesn’t work, how will they pay for their services?. Also as you have rightly said it banks will never let fiat die, isn’t it obvious by the way bank ceos try to bash bitcoins everytime it rises.
