6041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin twitter account today asks "If you met satoshi what would you say?" on: April 22, 2020, 10:32:53 AM

I just want to say hello to him and ask him what took you you so long to show yourself. wanna thank him for everything he did, he made something that made the world government changed their perspective about money and finally I will tell him to give us some more enlightenment about what else can bitcoin does.
6042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 21, 2020, 12:29:40 PM
It is true, however, how can you obliged an employee to gather funds in this kind of emergency, and what if their salary is only enough to support their daily needs, this will be hard for them. In times like this, employers should at least show that they care about their emplyees who work hard for them.

The employer should have some kind of funds to give to their employees in order for them to help their guys. these employees are now in need of anything they can give them. of course, the first thing they must do is to go to their respective employers to ask for help because they're the ones who can help these guys in their financial problems. they can do like giving them their advanced 13-month pay to somehow survive this pandemic or something like that.
6043  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Account Selling on: April 21, 2020, 11:10:15 AM
6044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This guy gambles and wins a total amount of £400,000 and quits while ahead. on: April 21, 2020, 10:34:27 AM
If I were him, I wouldn't even tell people that I won that much. I will just disappear on the gambling site and continue to live my life as nothing has happened. this will bring him so much attention andI'm sure he can't walk on the street without someone accompanying him. this is the toughest situation you need to face you are going to the public after a huge win. this will also serve as a lesson for us too.
6045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DON'T APPEAL TO ANY ONE'S EMOTION on: April 21, 2020, 09:45:57 AM
The catchy part of the teaching was when the few who participated in the airdrop was able to see it through their local fiat currency,  people often believe in things they can see, things put in practice, if not for that little display, many will not show any interest,
It is a good thing you warn them about market fluctuations, better to have full knowledge of what they are involved in than start apportionning blames at the end, most times many people are not too concerned about the technology, only the money aspect.

Same method as brainwashing people to invest in their imaginary project which doesn't even exist in reality without the help of investors. Things are not going to work if we just listen to some strangers about how we can effectively invest in cryptocurrency, it doesn't work that way. what we need to do is, spend some time to educate ourself about it with some proper step by step guide. legit threads that thought us about the pros and cons are matters as well because this will be our first step whether we start to invest or not.
6046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to know whether it is right to join bounties? on: April 21, 2020, 09:08:03 AM
If you have some free time, it is better to read threads pertaining to bounties from the basic things you need to know when joining bounties to prevent yourself from joining scam one. you can find all related bounty questions and answers in this section of the forum, just head over to the search field and type what you want to know. every person has a different perspective about bounties, so you better get their strategies and work yours along the way when you become familiar with this kind of job later.
6047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does success mean? on: April 21, 2020, 08:45:10 AM
Agreed with the number three-term of success in this industry, in my years of experiences about some projects that emerged with a lot of funds, they will mostly fail because of their lack of resolutions and you can see something like this when you go back to the year 2017-2018 when there are many of those projects has emerged. but look at them now, some of them have spent millions of dollars just to become known to the investors and yet they failed to gather enough resources to survive up to this time. they failed, that's why.
6048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another crypto youtuber given a ban for breach of terms of service. on: April 21, 2020, 08:25:20 AM
I think I know this guy here, He is banned? I wonder what's going on with youtube nowadays. He can be not teaching unnecessary things or something that will break the youtube's rules and regulations cause he was doing this for years now. His channel is one of the channel that I recommended in my thread. This will affect the crypto community on youtube, they need to be careful now cause they are being hunted one by one.
6049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will another altcoin rise to overtaken Bitcoin? on: April 20, 2020, 02:28:51 PM
This kind of question has been asked since the emergence of Altcoins, some claims that they can overtake the Bitcoin throne in years but 10 years have passed and nothing has happened. the answer here is obviously clear, whether they say they will rise to overtake bitcoin or just some deluded speculations. Nothing like that will happened unless bitcoin will become forbidden to own in the next decade. We won't what will happen but right now we can assure that no Altcoin will rise to take over what bitcoin has had today.
6050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pet shop want to become a bitcoin exchange? on: April 20, 2020, 01:35:41 PM
Seriously man if you do so, you are the first one to accept bitcoin as a means of payment to their Pet shop. I never heard anything like this. mostly I heard stores that are accepting Bitcoins are restaurants and other beverages stores. I never heard of Pet shop accepting bitcoin, If you implement it, then you will become the first one to do it in the world.
6051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: April 20, 2020, 12:56:35 PM
When I was in high school I was so addicted even after class I rush to the gambling den. there was no online gambling at that time when I was playing. I saved my money in school just to be able to play at that time. but suddenly I always lose right after I was about to graduate from high school, I stopped playing. till now, I never went to that place anymore.
6052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever lost access to your Bitcoins? on: April 20, 2020, 12:07:51 PM
What is your story of not being able to access your Bitcoin wallet with Bitcoins in them.

What have you tried to retrieve them?

I was a victim of a runaway scam that leads to losing access to my bitcoin. it was a promising investment method known as cloud mining and everyone seems to talk about it at that time and I also started to joined them. I was a newbie at that time and wanted to earn as fast as I can little do I know that the site is about to become unreachable in a few weeks. I got my first payment but after that, I never saw the site works again after 5 years.
6053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 20, 2020, 11:31:47 AM

Better to have a copy of this. There will be times when you just want to watch how great MJ is. Specially this quarantine times.
Also, a good display in a furniture near your television.  Grin

I wish I have some source to download those, anyway, watching it all at once is good rather than waiting for another episode to come. just like my way of watching anime episodes, I let it all end the season before I start downloading. MJ prime is amazing, it'll be fun to watch with NBA fans like my dad.
6054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: April 19, 2020, 02:35:17 PM
Anytime is good to come out of gambling adiction when you have realised that it is enough. It is not at all easy and you would need professional help. Staying sober is a big responsibility, I have seen people calling back after a period of time.

Due to the virus outbreak people are not able to visit a casino but they are still able to gamble online which means you need self realisation to stop this addiction.

Yeah right, when you are alone and have nothing to do. thinking about your future and wanted to regain your honor or to prove everyone that they're wrong about what they think of you, you can start to change your course and be motivated with something else. Most of the time when we are alone we can think peacefully and fix our self effectively because when you are the one who wants to change, no one can ever stop you from that except yourself.
6055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 18, 2020, 03:18:29 PM
Ah man, the NBA playoffs were supposed to start today, 18th April.  Embarrassed

Anyway, something that may cheer you up, ESPN will air "The Last Dance", a documentary following Michael Jordan and Bulls 1997-98 season. Five consecutive Sundays and 10 total episodes starting off tomorrow April 19th at 9 p.m. Eastern. Director is Jason Hehir, "The Fab Five" and a few other memorable '30 for 30' documentaries.

More on the story and full schedule here: https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/warriors/michael-jordan-last-dance-documentary-how-watch-online-tv

This will at least refill our hunger to watch some NBA games, I think MJ game in his prime will be the best to watch. I can wait for this to be shown on ESPN I will definitely watch this with my cousins. The one team that called the dream team has also had some documentary is also nice to watch, I hope that they will air it too.
6056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 18, 2020, 02:05:07 PM
It is a good decision if you will win. But it is very risky since after you lose, there is the possibility that you lose more if you won't get that winning after doubling your bet. It might be the reason for you to do the same mistake and you might end up losing your funds so fast.

most often this will occurred when you put a double amount bet after you lose. the worst part is, you keep doing it when you think you can recover after you lose the double bet. If you can stop yourself from doing it, it'ss becomes a habit and you will always bet a huge amount every time you lose.
6057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't this the best time for Bitcoin? on: April 18, 2020, 10:36:50 AM

There is no other time but to buy than now. Don't wait for BTC time to dominate because by that time BTC price will also go up and you may not be able to afford it. Its got its time maybe tomorrow, maybe next week or next year but don't wait for its moment. Just look at how those people who regret because they had not bought earlier before 2017.

I agree with this because we have seen so far that even though the price of Bitcoin went down this year, it recovered just before the Bitcoin halving comes. this is one of the reasons why bitcoin is unique than the other cryptocurrencies because of its historical recoveries. now we need to think about it if we want to invest the time right now is just right.
6058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: April 17, 2020, 11:22:18 AM
In my country, 40% of population are active in gambling.
Gambling nervousness affects health in a negative way, remember that.

In our country may be close to that number but more active even though in the midst of this pandemic, they still want to pursue their addiction. in the past days, there are several gamblers who got caught by the authorities. they caught because they violated the quarantine rules and most of them involved in cockfight which is prohibited nowadays because of this pandemic. their cock has been slaughtered and has been feed to prisoners. Well, that served them right.
6059  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: [fake news] Senator Manny Villar on: April 16, 2020, 03:48:56 PM
6060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: April 16, 2020, 03:12:39 PM
I know that many articles have been written about it. But gambling should not get out of hand.
Only play with money you can afford to miss. But I can imagine that it is difficult for people who are sensitive to addiction.
Of course, gambling should be fun, not obsession or coercion.

When we say about fun about gambling, it will only occur at your first game by the next day you still want to play then it's not for fun anymore. by that time you are changing the course of your life by letting yourself falling addicted to this thing. When you are doing it every day, I think there's no other thing to call for it except addiction. If it is overdone, there will be some bad consequences.
