6041  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice for newbies on: June 22, 2019, 12:19:40 PM
Hardware wallets are the best wallets and totally storing it to exchanges as your primary wallet is a naive idea and with the recent uptrend of bitcoin for sure many frauds, scams, phish, hacking and similar incidents will happen on exchanges.
6042  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WARNING! to all VLC player users! Stop using VLC and update it now!! on: June 22, 2019, 09:56:04 AM
Thanks for the update OP. Actually I use it always for watching animes whenever I have new ones been downloaded. There are types it pop up for a download but sometimes I ignore it because of low connectivity I have or sometimes whenever it pops up it was just for a moment so I never mind it at all. I'll update mine later.

There is some trick to do it I believe. Suppose a user is looking for an anime episode. Hacker can make a similar file, hosted it on their server or upload it to file-sharing services and then make google ads. Some user who doesn't have favourites website to download anime videos could download that file, even random stranger who googles the episode of that anime could get exposed too.

He can also share that link to various forums, and it won't look suspicious as he's sharing a download link just like any others uploaders.
So far I have my favourite site to download those and far it is an underrated anime website for download but I will stay very cautious at all times.

For sure there will be a dump as I can see bitcoin is overbought at I guess we should keep on steady for some fluctuations at doon maganda mag enter as I can see ang speculation na $60k is achievable this year. Shocked

before i joined bitcointalk few years ago i did my homework first, searched some information about it,blockchain and bitcoin related shits,so whats the problem of being clever after few hours of joining? does it mean all the newbies here are all newbies at all? lets say he has main account did he violated any forum's rules/TOS? nah? yeah because multiple accounts are allowed, abusing it will be the reason why you'll get reds/flags.
There are no problem of being clever but by being clever just to cheat are the real problem especially creating multiple accounts just to abuse bounties, and I guess that really means for a trust flag.

When I read your complaining post here, I am curious when are you joining into this forum. As newbie, you are too clever by very fast to know bounty within less then 6 hour after joining into this forum.
Likely that's a good reason for a doubt just as actmyname said he's confident enough to post here in Meta. But let's not be too easy to judge, what if they are just invited here for that reason (bounties)?

I am not seeing as a death threat but probably hate to bitcoin lovers, my guess is that maybe you're not the only one been pm by him, maybe a disciple of roach in a sense. Just be cautious at all times @GreatArkansas, I'd suggest as well to report this to police if you think this harm you.
6048  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pilipinas Board, Bumabalik sa Dating Sitwasyon? on: June 21, 2019, 03:46:11 AM

Pero kung may lumabas man na bago at has to make a lot post require on the local board mind me they will just think about the quantity requirement over quality kahit paulit-ulit lang mga input nila. At kung crypto related man na thread yan for sure konti lang mga replies dyan but something na off-topic threads for sure it will be flocked by replies.
6049  Other / Meta / Re: [Ban appeal] for funnychain - article is not plagiarized (EN/FR/ES versions) on: June 21, 2019, 03:37:51 AM
I guess that post you just presented is really the one been reported, because as per investigation I am sure that you are not a plagiarist the only thing that you've done wrong is you just have quoted it instead of just posting it directly. I guess the one that reported that post misinterpreted that it's been copied, only because your account here and the author on the article is different. Hope this issue be resolved to get back your account again.
6050  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Anong expectations ninyo sa maaring pagbabalik ni YOBIT? on: June 20, 2019, 09:20:26 AM
I guess there are only few more things to consider kung magsisimula man sila ulit.

1. Reputable signature campaign manager that negates spammer at yung mga one liner.
2. Put their minimum post at maximum to lowest na hindi naman masyadong spammy na like 10 minimum post/week or 25 maximum post/week.
3. They should get signature campaign participants na may work ethic kung paid man mga signature nila hindi lang for quantity.
4. They really should apologize to theymos that it will never happen again, sure baka hindi nalang temp ban ang ipataw.
6051  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pilipinas Board, Bumabalik sa Dating Sitwasyon? on: June 20, 2019, 09:10:42 AM
How about disabling signature here sa local board natin, to see who really into the improvement and betterment of this board? I know it's better to have a paid signature na pwede ka mag post kahit dito but I guess there's no harm if you input what you really know or somehow you don't understand dahil meron namang mga knowledgeable sa crypto ng mga pinoy members. Even just asking questions can lit up a whole bunch of discussions and the incentive you'll get from it is "enlightenment".

I have a paid signature too and there's limit on how much it will be, but if there's something I can learn or I can input I really don't hesitate to ask or respond here pag may oras na maibibigay.
6052  Other / Meta / Re: [BRAINSTORM] Any requests for custom extensions/user scripts for BitcoinTalk? on: June 20, 2019, 06:44:55 AM
I was wondering if TryNinja already did this but if not maybe I should ask this here.
You can alredy make a quote manually (by getting the unixtime, link, author and using it in the quote format). So, Maybe I can try creating a script for this, if anyone is interested.

This is opened by iasenko on his topic Quote posts from locked topics? Why it's not allowed?, I guess this will be better script for a hassle-free quoting of replies even it is locked.
6053  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin all over the Philippines on: June 19, 2019, 11:26:24 PM
there's low adoption yung mga tao sa crypto sa Pilipinas, what I mean not just on survey of people who search for "bitcoin" on google because I guess that's obsolete AFAIK, people will search for it because that's what they invest for yung ang sinabi sa kanila and that will not means that people are into adoption.
This is just a cut statement of mine from one of the thread dito sa Pilipinas board. What do you think guys? Just want to hear your opinions regarding this one.
6054  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your trading day? on: June 19, 2019, 11:18:13 PM
hey guys,
really interested in how full-time crypto traders work.

some questions
1) What sites do you visit?
2) How much time do you spend on trading?
3) What websites help you build your strategy?
4) What instruments do you lack for a more precise analysis?
5) What is the biggest problem in trading for you?
6) What price trackers do you use?
7) if you have time, please describe your typical trading day Smiley

Thank you for participating!

1. Binance
2. I can really estimate how much I spend but I guess it's too low as I'm not on a day trading strategy.
3. Sometimes on CMC but I am doing some TA on Binance too as I there UI on doing some TA out there.
5. I guess the biggest problem only I have is the unavailability of money to go on full trading.
6. Telegram channels has lot of price trackers, usually those is where I can easily get some price info of coins/tokens.

I'm not really into full time trading but hoping that those I inputted will help you get some knowledge.

I need a hat man, homer are you around? Would be amazing if I could get something like one of these?
<snip>
I wanna be one of the cool kids. Maybe if I wear it we will see 10k soon Smiley
So far I guess this will be the coolest hat I will see when done. Can't wait to ask homer too for a design of my own. If you wear it a new ATH will come.
6056  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To all Firefox users, UPDATE your browser now before it's too late. on: June 19, 2019, 01:34:07 PM
Just updated my Firefox browser to the latest version 67.0.3 but mine is new as it just been installed recently from version 67.0.1 but just to be sure I've updated it to the new one. Seen this across telegram channels and group too about a possible attack, good thing it has been found by the Coinbase Security Team and Samuel Groß, a security researcher with Google.

@bL4nkcode I know your Filipino as well, I guess it will be best too to post this onto our local board for some notice, I guess some users are using Firefox browser too in there, the more it is disseminated throughout the forum the better.
6057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LIBRA - Facebook's Stablecoin Cryptocurrency - Reinvent money on: June 19, 2019, 04:29:30 AM
I hope this is not a fake, and this coin will really make something worthwhile.

I just said above your post that it isn't fake here is the news about it https://techcrunch.com/2019/06/18/facebook-libra/. But I am not into them, I don't think that they really are something worthwhile for a cryptocurrency, they are alike somehow with XRP.
6058  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie accounts should not be allowed to post in certain forums. on: June 19, 2019, 03:57:10 AM
At least the head admin does not have intention to reimplement Newbie Jail, and has not shown any signal that he will change this approach.
Disabling the right to wear signature of newbies, and restrict newbies whom can not earn a single merit to become Junior Members are good strategy to control them, and somehow motivate them to contribute more in the forum (to receive at least a single merits, before start to spam again  Roll Eyes ). There are some other contributions from forum community, such as Spambuster club, and plagiabot, are also helpful to eliminate Newbie-spammers, whom are too lazy and dumb.
I am support into the disabling of the signature of those newbie on some boards as some only wanted to comply the quantity of their posts because of what they wear, hoping more managers are onto this as well.
6059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LIBRA - Facebook's Stablecoin Cryptocurrency - Reinvent money on: June 19, 2019, 03:49:31 AM

I hope this is not a fake, and this coin will really make something worthwhile.
It isn't fake moreover they aren't something worthwhile for the true meaning of decentralization.
6060  Local / Pamilihan / Re: RIGEN MARKETING - Investing on Cryptocurrency is a SCAM! on: June 19, 2019, 03:10:44 AM
That's why when people can't brought back their money because the founders and team run away saying they are trading crypto or they use bitcoin the one thing comes up to people that "bitcoin is a scam". And so far even bitcoin has on surface for many years and gain such names what others think is on that way that it is scam because of this ponzi schemes using the name of bitcoin. Tao nga naman gusto lagi quick rich, hindi nila alam na yung sinasabing nag trading daw yung founder eh to be honest yung payin lang ang mga binbayad sa payouts dyan eh. At dahil rin ata dito sa mga scams na ito na there's low adoption yung mga tao sa crypto sa Pilipinas, what I mean not just on survey of people who search for "bitcoin" on google because I guess that's obsolete AFAIK, people will search for it because that's what they invest for yung ang sinabi sa kanila and that will not means that people are into adoption.

Hoping many will be enlightened sa mga cryptocurrencies at how and why are they built for.
