6041  Economy / Economics / Re: 2016 Has Brought a Bitcoin Awakening on: May 08, 2016, 07:01:41 AM
Indeed an interesting article that had valid reasons (almost). Regarding the trust in exchanges for purchasing BTCitcoin, overall there might be few that stand out but in general, there have been rather a lack of trust lately due to recent events surrounding exchanges. I also do agree that regardless of the halving event, the price is on the rise and it's matter of time before governments jump in and make a good impact in it's value.
6042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many of you can honestly profit playing poker? on: May 08, 2016, 04:53:05 AM
I doubt the percentage you give is anything near real number unless there's a source that I'm missing. I've lost most of my money when I used to gamble in real life with playing poker games. It's the hardest IMO and requires to have some sort of luck as well plus the whole playing style of players in terms of confidence and the way their face look has a saying on our decisions as well, in which most of the time are misleading.
6043  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lottery Game in Bitcointalk Forum on: May 07, 2016, 07:06:30 PM
Based on your 2nd comment on this thread: Regarding the need for a trustworthy escrow provider so he would verify everything and makes it safer for user, your in the right path however I'm not so sure about the transparency of your plan (even with more chances of winning). If I understood it correctly, this would be purely automated, right? If yes, then verifying the whole process for being fair is actually a hard one unless a well known coder, reads the whole coding system and verifies it himself. A better option would be to make everything transparent in a way that how traditional lotteries are. Everything to be streamed live and with this way, you could eliminate the need for extra code (just a suggestion).
6044  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: iPayYou Launches New Bitcoin Wallet, With Ability to Cancel Transactions on: May 07, 2016, 05:26:05 PM
Although it seems interesting, the following are my insights:

1. It's based on Seattle therefor like every other american brand, it restricts certain countries to use it (all american finance related sites do this).
2. It seems transactions will be handled manually by a person, instead of a automated procedure since transactions are done via email or text so it most likely slower than others.
3. I like their "Withdraw to your bank account" option but there wasn't any information about the percentage they will be charging for this.
4. I like and don't like "Lock your price" feature due to, if someone asks to be paid in BTCitcoin alone and not in certain amount of $, could end up not getting what they wanted but on the other side is good as well for those that intend to send certain equivalent amount of $ to someone and eliminate extra cents.
5. Their "Cancel transactions" is a bit misleading since there was always a way prior to the confirmation of the initial transaction.
6. About "Integrated shopping experience", it will only be useful if the discount rate they offer, is better than others out there.
6045  Economy / Services / Re: [Crypto-Games.net] ★Signature Campaign★ | Best Rates | Senior - Legendary[FULL] on: May 07, 2016, 04:17:47 PM
Thanks to Lutpin for counting on time and an advance thank you to DogecoinMachine and Joter85 for this weeks upcoming payment later today.
6046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What to do whit an old Antminer S3 on: May 07, 2016, 05:20:31 AM
Why don't you sell both of them instead? Even though mining rigs sell have been in a slower rate due to the halving, you'll still be able to sell them if the price you will be asking is reasonable and as result, considering you already got ROI on them, them simply earn you easy money by selling them. Another option, you could host it with someone trusted that has cheap electricity as well.
6047  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info wallet: Button send doesn't work on: May 06, 2016, 03:48:13 PM
Not really often using browsers to open my blockchain wallet, but it is working fine on the android application. Maybe if you have an android you can download the app and use it as a secondary way to open your blockchain.info wallet.
Thank you for the advice but ever since last time that I used it's android app, due to bugs, I refused to go back and used the app and instead only used the wallet directly from browser. The problem has been solved now (thanks to Mandrik | Blockchain.info Support).

In case someone stumbles upon the same issue, here's it's solutions:

1. Clearing all your browser data, including cache & cookies - (I didn't do it but was advised by Mandrik)
2. Try logging in via an Incognito window (Chrome) or a Private Browsing window (Firefox) - (Also advised by Mandrik and I tried incognito mode and worked for me)
3. If your accessing the wallet using a saved bookmarked page, like I used to do all the time, you have to delete that bookmarked page, close browser then open again and simply type in browser the blockchain.info website and try logging in and try again to send - (I found out this myself after doing step 2 and worked as well, so it seems that there were a slight change lately that triggered the buttons not to worked base on a bookmarked version that was from last revision of the site).

Locking the thread now.
6048  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin in the hotel on: May 06, 2016, 01:47:20 PM
The discount percentage, would surely attract more customers and some might even be forced to understand what BTCitcoin is (just for sake of availing the discount promo), so it's good proposal. The only problem would be with tax law's governing your country in regards to this, specially for something this big, there might be a need for a review and some sort of approval license for the hotel to be allowed to accept BTCitcoin instead of fiat (IIRC there have been similar cases).

To some that have concern about how their going to use BTCitcoin if their traveling tourists, AFAIK almost all the hotels nowadays provide internet connection to their customers so they could use their cellphones and in case their mobile internet wasn't accessible, they could use hotel's wifi. They could use a VPN to make it more secure then easily do the transaction from their phone (no need to have a laptop).
6049  Economy / Web Wallets / Blockchain.info wallet: Button send doesn't work on: May 06, 2016, 05:53:32 AM
Since couple of hours back, I can't send any funds due to the buttons loss of functionality. I've tried both, using the normal way with Send Money tab > Send payment and the Custom > Review Payment option but upon reach both last named options, the buttons don't work and nothing happens after clicking Send Payment or Review Payment. Have tried using multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox and IE) and tested on my laptop and desktop but had no luck.

Haven't seen any announcement from them if their trying to fix something. Anyone has the same issue with blockchain.info wallet?
6050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LOL Antonopoulos Destroys Banks’ Blockchain Delusions Once Again on: May 06, 2016, 01:52:55 AM
As always Andreas is great at pointing the flaws of banks but the problem is would they bother to learn at this stage (Bargaining)? I doubt and they'll do whatever they could to go with their plans and waste a lot of time. The thing is, they could try all they want, but one thing for sure the blockchain their trying to make, won't be near the blockchain that surrounds BTCitcoin due to the obvious differences.
6051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright relents aka Satoshi (air quotes) in Public Apology! on: May 05, 2016, 01:49:21 PM
Still not a good move by Craig for trying to say goodbye to the story he started, without proper ending. His trying to go with a humble ending and saying don't have the courage to do it but were also not 2 year old kids here, can't see what type of courage he needs to prove and back whatever he has been saying lately. From what I'm seeing, it's just a big excuse for him since he can't really prove his identity as BTCitcoin creator.
6052  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone tried all4btc.com? on: May 05, 2016, 09:17:13 AM
Anyone tried their service? I've tried it on a small purchase.
Are they reliable? So far, they've been reliable.
Do they return the BTCs if shipping was cancelled? Haven't been on this type of scenario yet but according to the information's on their site, they would return it.

Regarding their refund policy, you may refer to the following pages:
http://about.all4btc.com/refund-policy/
http://about.all4btc.com/100-get-money-back-guarantee/

So basically if you have a valid reason for availing the refund, from the time of contacting the support, you should expect it within the next 2 days.
6053  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit on the process to become the next cryptsy? on: May 05, 2016, 05:33:39 AM
In the past, I read some where that Yobit is somehow related to Russia and with new imposed punishments (few months ago) towards Russian users of BTCitcoin as brand or person, perhaps it has a saying with recent complaints towards them. I've seen some complaining about withdrawal time that takes couple of hours before reaching whatever their exchanging (not talking about their campaign participants, but purely about their customers).
6054  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is it worth it to invest in Antminer S7? on: May 04, 2016, 12:54:11 PM
Honestly it won't be worth your try or anyone's try at this time as mentioned  by "VirosaGITS". If you were asking this question with free electricity and 2 months earlier than now, then I would encouraged you to go and buy it but right now, there's isn't a way to give you a reason worth investing in an S7 (even though it's the most efficient available miner in the market). The estimation you got, is as if nothing goes wrong and you never know when you get dead boards and as result even slower ROI so definitely not a safe move. Soon there will be much more efficient miners out there and you might actually have a chance with those (better chips) but again you pay for your electricity and unlike some that have free one, your going to have tough time finding something worth investing (anytime soon).
6055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan Officially Recognizes Bitcoin and Digital Currencies as Money on: May 04, 2016, 07:45:01 AM
Bold move by Japan and yet others always wonder why their considered to be one of the most successful countries out there (simply because they do know what improves them and don't care if they created it or not). This will surely make a way for others to follow the path and as result more demand for BTCitcoin. Also the articles mentioned regarding woman wanting to buy some BTCitcoins in order to fund their husbands mainly due to the negative interest rate of banks which even for short term basis as their investments, it will have positive impact on BTCitcoin and banks would be used in smaller scenarios instead (like for receiving money that were converted from exchanges and immediate withdrawal to cash).
6056  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Mining part shop on: May 04, 2016, 04:31:56 AM
Due to your level, there will always be the issue of trusting your shop (if ever you go with this idea), so you should acquire one of the known escrow providers (OgNasty for instance) to help you make it happen. There's already few (good ones) shops that have been doing what your trying to do for some time and the only way if your going to be successful is, if your going to offer something that none of them offer, perhaps something like purchase rewards that could be added to their account and used on their next purchase and etc... Regardless of what I said, it will always be good to have another competition for those out there and could surely make all of them improve in the long run too.
6057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Big Boom: When Will Bitcoin Go Mainstream? on: May 03, 2016, 03:11:03 PM
I do agree with the speaker and he seems to know what his talking about. I also think it's going to take around 10-20 years before there be any significant changes to the status of BTCitcoin in regards for to go mainstream since were still on it's initial phase and most don't know much about it nor use it. I also like how he explains separately that BTCitcoin and blockchain has importance and each could do good when used as a single unit or together. In about 20 years, BTCitcoin would be the center of online world and hopefully PayPal is far gone by then (although this is my speculation and hope).
6058  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: May 03, 2016, 12:30:27 PM
Yes as Lauda and some others have pointed out to the obvious that it will be even much more popular than now and much more widely used. In my case, stability of BTCitcoin (when happens), is not the reason for my usage but rather the ability to transact without limit and anyone controlling it, is the reason and most use it simply because it enables them to operate in the online world and a small portion are in it just for the sake of profiting when they price goes up and down by selling or buying respectively.
6059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING: CMEGroup announce launch of Bitcoin reference rate and real-time index on: May 03, 2016, 09:46:06 AM
This is actually a huge news as well, specially for traders. It will give a real exposure and added demand as result of this move (when is launched in 4th Q). I really do like the effect RTI product could have in terms of impact but what's the point of BRR, I really can't understand it's benefit towards BTCitcoin in a any way, unless I'm missing something.
6060  Economy / Economics / Re: thought on wht bitcoin will buy in the future on: May 03, 2016, 06:27:21 AM
I have to disagree with the following lines: "bitcoin will go to a million dollars, simply because u.s.a. keeps inflating its currency" and "i don't think bitcoin will necessarily buy  more goods and services than it does right now"
BTCitcoins value could and would go way up but that doesn't mean it's due to inflation of $ but rather other factors that surround BTCitcoin directly. Also BTCitcoin could surely be used to buy more things than are being sold at the moment, like up until now, there were house and car sales that BTCitcoin was used directly and it will be matter of time, before we see other types of sales (big ones), use this method as well. There's no limit on what BTCitcoin can be used, but rather the matter of who accept it and when they do it.
