6041  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the useful tips for beginners? on: June 12, 2018, 05:05:23 PM
Hello guys and gals , it is certain that the field of trading is very profitable, but regrettably, I have seen many beginners start in this area without any knowledge of the basics. In fact, this class always fails and lose a lot of money because of their hastiness or rashness.

So, according to my experience, I want to give some useful tips, and hope they will help everyone, and will be as the following :

1- Read and learn the basics of trading:

-I think the best way to start understanding this field  is by reading books related to digital currencies,  but unfortunately, the issue that many people  read only the first pages of the book, then they stop.

"The more that you read the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you'll go "
                                                                                                                                                            -Dr. Seuss
I suggest some books, and they will be as the following :
Cryptocurrency: Beginners Bible:

Mastering Bitcoin for Dummies:

Cryptocurrency Trading & Investing

-Learn how to analyze and deal with different situations ( pump, dump ..) in a smart way. Plus,  try to help yourself  with yourself, Do not complain and ask for help from the others, because no one is in your place. And even if you fail in the first attempts and lose a lot of money, then It is not the end of the world.
Believe me, learning from failed experiences will help you in order to improve your next choices, and you may start to gain a significant proportion of money.

2-Stay away from media news:

Media are always manipulating traders through some false news and even the social media (Twitter, Facebook..), They may even control what happens in the market (crisis, jump), in order to achieve the interests of some (the capitalists) and regrettably, many believe the information and fake predictions.
" Do not be a sheep and act like a wolf "

3- Be patience  and  try to be brave , not afraid:
The field of trading is profitable when you are patient and not hasty like many, and of course you must take advantage of the opportunities intelligently.
Fear is one of the most important obstacles that lead to losses, especially in difficult situations (big crash), like, panic selling...

IMO, Courage is by taking the risk, especially when there is an unexpected event (Big drop).
"Big risk, Big gain."

Cheers,  Grin

Crypto trading would not be so easy if we don't have enough idea about it so it is important that we'll have enough knowledge and wisdom about what we are doing. We could seek help to traders pro that we know or we could also find tools through the internet for us to gain more knowledge about the basics of trading.
6042  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: June 12, 2018, 08:41:57 AM
Its no longer news that an ICO in Japan has lost over $400 million to hackers. They promised to pay back investors who invested in their ICO. Thsi is a huge loss. After I read that news, I began to wonder. How safe is Bitcoin and Other altcoins? What measures should we take to avoid being hacked ?

I wonder why there are still lots of people who aren't contented for what they have but still choose to take what's not theirs. I think to get rid of these people , we should just keep all our private keys and accounts secured all the time. We should not entrust it to anybody who we don't know well.
6043  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Reasons Why Many Families Are Feeling Extreme Financial Stress on: June 07, 2018, 11:17:33 PM
Based on my experience that many families are feeling extreme financial stress because nowadays it's hard to find a stable job and a job with a big salary, and it's hard to earn money. Many families have a financial stress because they purchase too much they don't know how to budget their own money that's why it leads to financial stress.

I certainly agree with you. Financial stability and permanent source of income which is enough to sustain every family needs is a necessity for us to survive a without too much stress. Since all the value of our daily necessities are getting high each day, we should just have something to support our needs.
6044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happen with ETH Price ? on: June 07, 2018, 10:56:44 PM
I Confused with the Etherium price When BTC down ETH down and now the price of Bitcoin is up but the price of ETH still down.
is there a reason for it? and give advice to me about Etherium.
Thanks before  Cheesy

It is just normal for it to change it's value because just like any other cryptocurrencies, ethereum is volatile and the vakue is always changing. We must just learn to deal with our emotions towards it. The history might repeat itselt so that means that the green market is about to come.
6045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is GREEN today! Bull Run starting now? on: June 07, 2018, 10:27:04 PM
Bitcoin finally awakens from its dragon nap and had a push to 7.7k usd +

Is this Bull Run starting?

It's hard to predict since we all know rhat cryptocurrench is volatile and it's always changing. We should know that we can't predict it's value. However, it is still a positive thing for us and we must be hopeful about it. Let's just hope for the best as we patiently hold our holdings.
6046  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: June 07, 2018, 04:47:01 PM
I read this article, but I want to see opinions, would you sell all your alts to have only bitcoin now ? I don't think this is recommended

https://cointelegraph.com/news/buy-bitcoin-sell-your-altcoins-says-pioneering-wall-street-blockchain-analyst

I agree with this strategy and I find it a wise way of earning good profit. There are lots of altcoins these days but most of them don't have a good value so I think it is better if we'll just sell it and buy more bitcoin to hold  specially these days that bitcoin is currently low and is in red.
6047  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the risk necessary to make a big profit? on: June 07, 2018, 04:25:37 PM
Hello guys, I see that many traders are afraid of risk, and they always want a guaranteed profit, but unfortunately, this gain is always  a little in value.
And in many threads, they always ask about "how to make a safe method in trading".

For me, the risk is essential in every field ( especially in  trading) to win a lot of money. Furthermore, when you are afraid, then you will never achieve what you want.
Many businessmen/women (billionaires) and  successful traders become rich because they take risks.

Come on , overcome the fear, make a risk , we will only live once.
Now the market in crisis,  you must  take advantage of this opportunity, your life may will change for the better.

This quote is  very expressing :
"If you want it, go for it. Take a risk. Don't always play it safe or you'll die wondering"
                                                                                                                            -Ms.KG

What do you think guys?

It depends on your skills. You won't find it risky if you know what you are doing. All kinds of investments are risky and we can't change that fact. It is our ability to face all the risks that would make us earn better because the higher and harder the risks are , the more we get closer tobour target goals.
6048  Economy / Economics / Re: GOOD NEWS ! Cryptocurrencies 'Are Not Going Away' Says CFTC Official on: June 07, 2018, 03:28:10 PM
Cryptocurrencies are here to stay, a U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission official said this week.

Rostin Benham, one of the CFTC's commissioners, spoke during the Blockchain for Impact Global Summit, held at the United Nations Plaza on Monday. During his speech, he emphasized the major potential for blockchain to address issues in healthcare, employment and crime, among other sectors.

Calling cryptocurrencies a "technological revolution," Behnam said:

"But virtual currencies may – will – become part of the economic practices of any country, anywhere. Let me repeat that: these currencies are not going away and they will proliferate to every economy and every part of the planet ... Virtual currencies could transform the economic and social landscape."

That is a great news that would calm the hearts of most users and investors because there are lots of doubtful people about it these days. There are people who aren't confident about bitcoin which is actually a negative attitude in holding. We should just be hopeful about the capability of bitcoin.
6049  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't hold your coin on exchange for long time. on: June 07, 2018, 03:11:18 PM
If you wish to hold some coin then use exchange only for during exchange. Just exchange your coin and transfer on your personal wallet that you have controlled. Specially you can use hardware wallet.
Because many exchange hacked buy hacker. Many people loss their capital by hack.
So please don't hold your coin on exchange for long time.

I don't entrust my coin in an exchange because I find it so risky since most of exchanges these days are hackable. There are lots of phishing victims nowadays and it is really hard to keep calm while storing our money on exchanges. It is better to keep it in our ledger and safer wallets.
6050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you know its time to sell your altcoins? on: June 07, 2018, 02:49:54 PM
Just wondering if ya'll have a typical formula you go by or a certain X percentage profit or loss.

I've been playing around with coins for just under a month now. $23750 total investment and currently up just under 10k in profit. One of the coins (IOTA) has gone up about 288%.  Obviously it would suck if it crashed but it would equally suck to sell if it continues to grow.

Just wondering what a lot of you folks do. I'm considering investing another 25 or 50k into coins. Ideally I'd like to net 15k a month off them but I know that may not be realistic on a monthly basis.

It would be a great time to sell our altcoins in due time. I have set an amount  on when to sell my altcoins which I am patiently waiting for. It still depends on how long could you hold your tokens and how long your patience it. You should be ready to handle your emotions upon entering trading.
6051  Economy / Economics / Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto! on: June 07, 2018, 01:44:46 PM
I have read many threads talking over this subject and came to know that many people are very confused about their real job and the crypto world. So out of the panic they have started creating many threads like this. I thought to write some suggestions and kind of roadmap so that people can actually choose what is right and wrong for them. Hope this will help.

If this questions concerns a lot to you then you should know the difference between two.

                                                        _____Real Job______.
|.    _____Crypto Job_____

                                                            1. Secured fro lifetime.
| 1. Unsecured for lifetime
                                                            2. Gives you fixed Income.
| 2. Income is not fixed
                                                            3. Promotion Opporutnities.
| 3. Not Applicable
                                                            4. Yearly Hikes in the Salary.
| 4. Not Applicable
                                                            5. Recognition in the Colleagues.
|5. Not Applicable

These are the most vital points in both of them or at least this is what concern a lot to us while following both of them.

However I believe that what matters is the output which is "Money" And when you have enough money then that = Stability in your life.

This can be achieved in easiest way when you have all the point that are covered under the list of "Real Job". I mean if Im coming home everyday with hard work and for which I will get the sure shot salary at the month end then I would be happy for that and will loose most of the tension over that fact.

Lets consider the same case with the crypto currencies and earning through that.

What options do we have under the Crypto venture?
1. Signature Campaigns
2. Social Media Campaigns
3. Bounty Programs (Same thing with token payout)
4. Media Publications
5. Trading
6. Gambling
7. Lending
8. Hardware Mining
9. Coding (Hardest One to get in)
10.Becoming Managers (Very Stable but tougher to reach that level).

Woof! Thats lot of ways with which I could actually earn from the crypto currency. So I might just think that I will leave my job and will focus on all of them.

But what, lets think about it for a moment! Are they really reliable sources with which we could really go for rest of the life? Im pretty sure most of you will say may be, or some of you who are already very old in this field might just say yes. But, I believe its not that easy to work with all if them altogether and you have no assurance that you will get into campaigns all the time and you may not earn the fixed income form these options creating the instability in your house.

Most of the options above need initial investment and some of them are not even fool proof.

We have to agree that becoming manager here is not everyones play so we should consider that option equal to null.

However, real job salary covers all the points in it and we could easily survive! Thats the whole point.

The End Results?

I wish I could have easily said that we can live happy life just on the crypto currency. Unfortunately, I believe that real job is better than the virtual games. I would really suggest that we should look after the family planning, house stability in all possible ways. There is no way we can have that much stability with just crypto world.

You can make it part of your life, but you can push your life depending on it. Not at all!

Suggestions are all welcome!

I would prefer to have a real job over cryptocurrency since I believe that it could provide permanence which I think is necessary for me to have a sustainable life. I believe that we really need to have a permanent source of income which we can only find in a stable job.
6052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Much Should You Invest in Bitcoin? on: June 07, 2018, 12:45:32 PM
I often get asked privately if Bitcoin is worth an investment. My answer is a whopping yes….invest your time.
The price fluctuation of Bitcoin is certainly fascinating, but how cryptocurrencies (and blockchain, more on that soon) will affect you, your job, your business, and humans collectively is far more lucrative.
The financial (and in turn, geopolitical) institutions are about to go through what the media (music, books, TV, newspapers, cinema) industry went through since the rise of social media during the past decade.
Your investment in time learning about blockchain uses will far outweigh the investing of your $ € ¥ £ etc..

I have just invested my time and effort for cryptocurrency since I don't have much savings to invest, I only joined bounty campaigns which provided  me something to invest which has grown in time through hodling. It depends upon the amount that we want to invest.
6053  Economy / Economics / Re: DO NOT SELL! JUST HODL - You've not loss any money if you haven't sold. on: June 06, 2018, 05:27:45 PM
Bitcoin dipped to 7500$ and i think now it is danger zone could go to 3000$-4000$ again.
Good chance for newcomers, sorry for those who bought bitcoin at 18,000$ an 11,000$ Cheesy

What do you think? How low bitcoin can go?

Just hodl it

Bitcoin's future is actually unpredictable because it's votality always surprises us. Bitcoin has passed all the tests of time and I'm still hopeful that it could reach the best value again by the last quarter of the year. Bitcoin could repeat it's history so I don't doubt about it. I would love to hodl longer.
6054  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade or HODL? on: June 06, 2018, 05:02:38 PM
Hi guys, I have a couple of alts in my wallet right now and I want to gain profit.

I want to earn a profit while waiting for a better market value. Should I enter trading(where I don't have an idea on how to and where to start) or should I stick on HODLing my coins?

Looking at the market movement, is it a good time to start trading?

Is it risky or not an ideal move if I start to study trading using some of my holdings/alts?

I am eager to learn how to do trading(short-term or day-trading).

Any thoughts? TIA

I think it is still best to hodl now if you would want to gaina good profit bit if you're too eager to do trading, you must first learn the basics of it to avoid losses. It is our actual experience in trading that would give us more knowledge about it. Think of the right decision first before doing it so.
6055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Strategy on: June 06, 2018, 04:39:14 PM
Hello friends,
I am going to participate in bounty signature campaign. Can you guys suggest me some strategy. Like which bounty should I choose, how can I speculate what bounty is good for earnings etc.
thank you.

There are forums which would provide you more details about the current and legit bounty campaigns. As you join a program , you should do series of research first. Try to read their whitepaper and don't hesitate to ask questions about the project. Be eager to know more about the Ico of it.
6056  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest personal bitcoin loss on: June 06, 2018, 04:05:34 PM
I am not sure if I am putting this in the right section.

Anyway, what are some of your guys biggest bitcoin losses?  Did many people here loss everything with Mtcox?  For me it is online casinos.  I do have a moderate gambling habit so it was bound to happen.  Cry

I haven't heard of that before but I think that is a gambling site. I don't join any gambling sites for I find it so risky so I prefer joining bounty campaigns. So far , I don't have any losses yet because I am still hodling what I have for I believe that I could gain better in the future.
6057  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade is more a lucky thing or skill on: May 31, 2018, 01:22:07 PM
I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing.
They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works.
My friend told me that is just about how lucky you are, and not a skill.
So, should I stick with holding or playing day trade is a better option?

Skill. As a trader, you won't be able to do daily trading without enough knowledge and wisdom about it. If you love what you are doing , then you must be eager to know more about the basics of it. In daily trading, you can't just rely on luck but you have to work for it. You need to gain knowledge about it.
6058  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: May 31, 2018, 12:35:13 PM
The news in term of development are actually decent, with LN getting closer to a release, so I think this is just temporary. Smiley

Simply because cryptocurrency is volatile and we should just expect that the value might strike high or down anytime. Dropping down of the price is normal and is just part of it's changing value but it is not permanent. No matter how low it's value might drop, it would still strike high and recover in time.
6059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is technical analysis useful? on: May 31, 2018, 12:12:02 PM
Do you believe in the reliability of information obtained by technical analysis on crypto-currency market?

I think it is useful but it is not effective all the time since we all know that cryptocurrency is volatile and is changing all the time. It is just useful and effective in stocks. However, no matter what strategy of resource that we use, cryptocurrency is always changing but would still be able to provide us a positive outcome.
6060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto going strong! on: May 31, 2018, 11:39:32 AM
Hey guys, what do you think about today’s market situation? Market is growing really fast. Will it keep going like this?

The market is growing fast and it is an advantage for us users but as we all know , cryptocurrency is volatile and is changing it's value all the time. We must not keep confident about it because it could still change anytime. However, holding is necessary and advisable since the market will recover again soon.
