6041  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did i make or lose money on this trade? on: July 29, 2019, 08:41:25 AM
You cannot compare the usage or interest of both, when did usdt come into existence that people would trade more for it, the reason why many people trade for now is to earn some fiats and the most popular fiat we still know right now is USD, although we still have some people that are holding usdt, but they are doing so to actually continue to keep the value of the fiat that will be used for further trade.
Its called hedging and I would say they are being practical about the price if they are doing so. Not that I like USDT, I feel its a big ponzi nothing different from what fiat is in reality and it is just a digital representation of the same, just done by Bitfinex to promote it, powered by the FUD news spreading mass media. Again as long as it is present it is good option to tide over a bear market or just save your assets in some other form of value. But when is it going to collapse or when is another tether induced pump is coming is still a mystery.

Quote
Once people trade, they tend to convert it straight to USD because that is the best pair to use for getting their money into their traditional bank.
There are exchanges that allow directly payment on credit card if you need that. Cex is one such exchange but you would need pay some decent fees if you decide to proceed with this.
6042  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: KuMEX on: July 28, 2019, 07:29:09 AM
I guess every other exchange is envious of bitmex and their platform and is now willing to create their own version *cough* *cough* "Copy" of bitmex. The legal problem with bitmex just gives another window of opportunity to prey on the users of bitmex for a new derivatives platform and that is a good marketing method by launching it at this time. If it does launch that is.

Even then I was never a fan of leverage trading. More of the spot trading people is what I prefer. Take your risks if you like them though. I would be cautious about any new exchange even if it was being prepared by a previously known name.
6043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your advisable source of capital to use for trading. on: July 28, 2019, 07:03:18 AM
I would never advice someone to take a loan for trading. After all trading is something that needs you to be able to hold that money for a long time, basically to get a proper price to buy bitcoin. Because that entry point is crucial in determining your exit strategy and profit thereafter, you would want to use your own money to trade and not someone else's.

Secondly, do not invest more than what you can lose. I cannot emphasize that enough, because once you have made a mistake and you start to regret it, a vicious cycle of depression and anxiety will start which you will not be able to break unless you have faith and emergency money at hand. These markets are very volatile and unpredictable such that investments should always be made strictly within limited amounts of incoming money.
6044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin usage and misaligned expectations on: July 28, 2019, 06:59:46 AM
I'd say we do enough with our freedom of speech.  We call them out on their shenanigans and it seems to work for the most part.  Hopefully only a very small number of people still go away with the wrong impression after we've intervened to combat any FUD.  It's not the easiest job sometimes, but it keeps us in good practice for when the next troll inevitably appears.
Truely that is what I have been trying to tell. Both sides have full authority to say anything that want. Without looking at what others say about you make some enlightening discussions about bitcoin and its good and bad properties. How people have tried to make it look bad and what others think about it. Make a discssion which is both constructive, promotes constructive thinking and is objective enough and not too subjective.

We have only the power to telling people to become aware of frauds and we cannot make people not invest in them. So if we do our part, I think thats enough for one human to do their part than waste time on trolling trolls.
6045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is parlay an effective betting strategy? on: July 28, 2019, 06:55:20 AM
None of the strategy gives the assured winning or recovery of the loss happened in the previous games. This way parlay strategy is completely related to the money flow of a gambler. Strategies were just a way to give hope to the gambler and with this it isn't possible to win. Maybe one in ten times of betting the strategy wins.
Parlay is not even a strategy. Its a method of playing that the casinos know gives an advantage to the house like always. They pry on the self-confidence of the players in order to make them bet a parlay of several games which they think will win but often times because of the confidence and rush they make a mistake, on which the casino banks.

If you have full confidence about some bets to be spot on then go for it. But bear in mind that the risk is also pretty high if you lose a few of the total bets in a parlay.
6046  Economy / Digital goods / Re: libraforums.org on: July 28, 2019, 06:51:49 AM
Too low.
Ends when I receive a decent offer.
This shows clearly that you have no idea what an auction is and how it is to be done by the one organizing it. I doubt you have this domain in possession to sell. Can you show any proof for that? If not to publicly but to any trusted escrow of this forum like Minerjones if you are worried about leaking sensitive information.

As best this topic is shady because the name of this domain would be quite sought after considering libra is a buzz word at this time and both legit users and scammers will be trying to get hold of any libra phrase domain asap.
6047  Economy / Economics / Re: IS THIS HOW USD IS CREATED? on: July 26, 2019, 08:53:03 AM
It was created by the banks by backing up their gold resrve but now a days the fiat money printed on no bases, they keep printing fiat as much as they want and issue the loans to get the prices inflated and keep on going.
Also the reason why inflation rates in some countries are beyond the skyline and people are thinking how to get their daily bread earned without going broke and also having enough money for daily expenses. Some countries have been able to control it although partially and temporarily but the things keep breaking out every now and then causing panic in the general population. Sad

Printing of fiat continuously have been the reason of inflation and economic collapse, but then again governments dont want to recognize this as a threat or look for alternatives to correct this problem.
6048  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China Control Bitcoin? on: July 26, 2019, 08:44:37 AM
Therefore,   I don’t think it is United states that controls crypto market neither. We could even say that it is china, because that is where 70%  of the miners are from, and what is crypto without the miners, so these is where we may say the control comes from majorly, even though they don’t have much influence in the market.
Miners do not control the network. That is the first thing what people are mistakenly writing here. What miners do is confirm transactions but they cannot take control of the network just because their mining power helps secure the network. If a group of miners like the Chinese decide to go rogue then other miners can take the upper hand are remain sound in securing the network making the former attack useless.

So that said, we can assume that nobody has the power or the ability to control the blockchain. Where this topic comes from is this misconception that some people have.
6049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the *easiest* profitable betting strategy? on: July 26, 2019, 08:40:40 AM
For me it is the the sports bet because most of the times I know the team who is playing the matches who is stronger and what are the probabilities of the them winning or losing. Though it may not always go correct but better than me gambling in some other games.
You should scout properly and see what different odds you are getting on separate markets and which one is getting your maximum confidence. Agreed sports betting is all whole different ball game since you have to analyze and do a lot of homework before you actually bet something. Some people do bet without thinking going with their favorite teams but that not logical at all.

At times I feel dice and other EV- games are like cheap thrills while sports poker and other EV+ games are for the grownups. Just my 2sats. Grin
6050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Slot Tournament on: July 26, 2019, 08:35:39 AM
Slot games really depend on luck. I personally experience defeat more than victory. However, this online slot tournament is a good choice because the prizes are very large compared to the usual slot game prizes. I will try it, hopefully, this time luck will be on my side.
Its better to say that slot games are only dependent on luck. Games like slots and dice are EV- games, so they dont need any of your so-called "strategies" to win because you cannot win them if you are addicted to them and keep on playing. The only way you can profit is to cash out the money when still on a green streak. Most people are incapable of doing so because they are in a rush at that time and want to win more and more leading to a huge loss all of a sudden.

I wont advice you to play, but its your choice what to do with your money.
6051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Live long and prosper on: July 26, 2019, 08:32:43 AM
I believe that bitcoin can make many strong hands people to have stable life in the future. I really do hope so.
Bitcoin is not the magic pill to poverty, buddy. It is a monetary system which is decentralized and censorship resistant but that has nothing to do with removing poverty or improving lives of people. In other words, the rich people will remain rich and the poor will remain poor. You see those who are rich will buy more bitcoins than what the poor people can. In the end the price will rise so high that the poor people can only dream of buying a few satoshis while the rich ones will dump at huge prices.

How crypto will encounter poverty is something that is not the focus of discussion but it is a good investment, I agree considering the price range variation.
6052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rush money and BITCOIN on: July 26, 2019, 08:27:55 AM
Bitcoin is controlled by the holder and has nothing to do with the government, holding long-term bitcoin will be profitable, maybe there is a possibility that your country has bad politics and public trust in the government is also not good.
Bitcoin is not controlled by anybody. Get that fact straight. You are in control of your own coin and not anything more than that. As soon as your have made a transaction, it will be added to the public ledger the blockchain and the new owner of those coins will control them. Governments have no control over bitcoin and they will not in future under any circumstances be able to take control of it.

Politics in every country is bad, but you have to live with that because the absence of politics leads to struggle of power and anarchy. What that has impact on bitcoin will be seen in future as time passes but for the time being it is a good investment if bought at the proper price. Whether you like making money from the pump and dump is your decision to make.
6053  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whats better holding many coins or fewer coins? on: July 26, 2019, 08:23:13 AM
Holding many coins is better because you have a lot of options to have a chance to meet your expectations to multiply your money .While if you have fewer money you can have a small options to have a big profit.
Both of these are wrong statements because none of them are absolute. While this may come out to be true in one instance it will fail in another instance and thus you cannot universally use them. If you buy too many coins you have actually wasted capital on buying nothing but shitcoins which are never going back up.

This leads to a vicious cycle of depression and anxiety and the only way to get out of it is when you sell, maybe at loss or not. But you wont be getting much of a profit. Luckily if one of those coins skyrocket in price and you manage to sell then you would profit. But the odds of the second outcome is very small.
6054  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 Basic Tips For Currency Trading Success on: July 26, 2019, 08:19:55 AM
In general I agree with your points, I would just put it more simple: education, strategy and cool head, in that order.
As a general method to follow, you are correct here. Without these three any type of work is going to fail, be it trading or anything that is not a speculative market game.

Quote
But all this comes with time and experience so it's not realistic to expect to become successful trader over night. And no one can actually teach you how to trade, there is no universal receipe, you have to figure it out on your own.
One can study the different methods shown in different sites and videos on the internet to learn about trading but being vigilant about paid media which are rampant nowadays because youtubers are money grabbing shills and nothing more. I would be skeptical about being taught about trading because I feel mistakes are our biggest teachers and if we dont rectify our mistakes then we will repeat them and that what we mostly lack and that is possible by doing trading and not listening to someone else.
6055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you buy lottery online in bitcoin payment? on: July 25, 2019, 07:56:57 AM
Need very luck in lottery, i think maybe lottery game is for something that we don't have anything to do to spend our rest of money. Because if we really force our life or money to only spend in lottery, if luck not come to us we wouldn't get any win from it. Except, those who win 12 times in lottery that can found in this subtopic.
You should not waste money on lottery. That would be an absurd thing to do because you also have other expenses to cover and a future life to take care of. Lottery should be seen a fun mode of attempt to make money because nobody is going to win it everyday, otherwise casinos and bookmakers organizing them would not exist.

I can only think of retarded people going all in on any type of gambling, any logical person would refrain from doing so. But then again the casinos are flourishing so I can guess the majority of the gamblers who end up broke even trying lotteries are from the first group.
6056  Economy / Economics / Re: is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments? on: July 25, 2019, 07:49:40 AM
C'mon man, this speculation has been ongoing for years now and not a single piece of evidence was presented that will swing our perception that bitcoin is not created by Satoshi but rather by 3 letter agencies by the US. So unless something concrete came up today and says this and that organisation made it then I will stick to the legendary man - Satoshi Nakamoto.
It is useless to argue with them. Those who use their false logic to make assumptions and try to convert that to a new theory are just dumbasses. But the truth is different because they do this for their own profits. Probably their are trying to promote the names of other people as those behind bitcoin, probably bitcoin cash propaganda shilling. All these lead to making newbies brainwashed about the wrong bitcoin.

But then it is their choice who to listen to and whom not to so I wont blame them for going in the wrong direction.
6057  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin believers/investors are foolish or low IQ people ? on: July 24, 2019, 07:40:17 AM
Personally, I admire those people who have knowledge about this new emerging technology. They are willing to accept and adopt something that has the potential to change the world. And for me, IQ doesn't always make one rich. Strategy does.
Without IQ a person cannot build a sustainable and feasible strategy. So those two go kind of hand in hand.

People believe in bitcoin because they see its good and bad properties and how they weigh out against traditional fiat system. Some like the fact that they can evade taxes and thus try to run their business through bitcoin payments. Not that I like this though, because I feel for the overall development of a country taxation is important. Anyway the users who have been developing blockchain technology have gone far and wide and gained acclaim. That is also another reason why bitcoin had gained faith of investors.
6058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: July 24, 2019, 07:34:22 AM
That's the reality tho, most of us thinks that a professional gamblers do always win the house which is ultimately wrong. Losing because of making a bad decision for a certain game won't make a professional gambler labeled as "don't deserving" to what their profession is. Most of them tho will overcome this during their next gambling session while others also don't.
Gambling should not be taken as a profession, it is a mode of entertainment and even though some people call themselves as professional gamblers their credibility about "gambling" is often misleading. They are mostly living off affiliate marketing from casinos and are like paid promoters of casinos and their games. If someone gambled for a living then they would not be living at all.

For some reason, the gamble for the poor sounds very funny.  I am sure that a gambler who is addicted to gambling, despite having a big captain, will someday become a beggar and lose his money if he does not control his desires and think about his capabilities.
True, but you see that person who is rich did not become rich by just inheritance and thus they know how to manage their money and what is going to be a profitable spending. While a poor person knows that they are poor and thus try their luck. That is why the rich remain rich and the poor become poor. The opposite is possible for those who are willing to change though so these are not absolute.
6059  Other / Meta / Re: why are more posts deleted in this few days? on: July 24, 2019, 02:40:57 AM
The recent increase in deletion of posts is because offtopic or low quality replies are being removed and a consequence of this is that if you had quoted such a post which got removed in future then your post would be removed as well to prevent drailing the thread.

This was brought up a few days ago in another thread in Meta. It can be some other reason as well, though.

As per your post history I would suggest engaging the topic in a greater depth and not just making a reply to the OP of the thread as a suggestion to increase your post quality.
6060  Economy / Digital goods / Re: libraforums.org on: July 23, 2019, 07:35:40 AM
Selling this domain.
ONLY serious offers please.

Just a suggestion: If you are "Selling" something then it is not an auction. Specifically selling goods of this type should be moved to "Digital Goods" section. If you want to auction it then be clear about it in the title and text.
