I spoke with most if not all of the previous participants, the reasons for skipping this season are as follows:
1. Lack of time, work is crazy
2. Lack of familiarity with the league and being cannon fodder

Not one of them mentioned anything about the fees but they are much more of a factor for PL.

You are forgetting Champions League which will start in about month. Then we will be back to 4 pools at the same time, just like last year and how I like it
Then I am also playing PL Fantasy with some local guys so season beginnings come very expensive for me.

I am leaning to following:
- 2 games each week, biggest game that week, usually one from La Liga and one from Serie A unless there is 2 big derby games in one of them and other has boring matches
- Only main markets, 3 per each game, ML, BTS or GOALS and BOOKING POINTS or YELLOW CARDS, does not matter if it reveals our picks since there will be 20 games each week, or 10 per pool
- Every correct choice one point (6 max)
- Tie breaker: time of first goal in last game played
- only for members of the pools, it is enough if somebody plays in one of them
Will probably start it tomorrow, still working out some details with sponsor

You guys can holler if you prefer BTS or GOALS, BOOKING POINTS or YELLOW CARDS, especially if you can add a good reason for your choice.

I will keep the competition same trough whole season or maybe tweak it in few months if it gets boring.

You are totally disregarding marketing side which players like Ronaldo and Messi bring to the club and league. Here is just some numbers I read while browsing local news from last few hours:
*Since PSG signed Messi people are waiting in the line for his jersey, they sold 150 000 shirts with price of 108$. That is 16.2M $ in one day. First bunch of shirts went out in 7 minutes.
*According to some research, Messi leaving Barca will cost them 137M $ per season just in sponsorship deals
*When Ronaldo left Real, interest for La Liga dropped 8% around the world, now when Messi left as well whole La Liga will lose insane amounts of money from sponsorship deals and TV rights

It was sure interesting how Sinner performed, in short like shit. Sort of expected he will emotionally empty after winning the title but nevertheless he lost way too easy. Looking bad for Felix AA as well. He lost first set and is trailing one break in second. Not gonna be the day of favorites.

So far my ticket looks good since Harris managed an easy win against Lopez. Bit afraid for Fognini match, you never know which side of him we will see.

Those are numbers for PL and I agree they are a bit on expensive side for casuals. These 2 pools have a buy in of 1 mBTC, half of which you get back as free bet. When I started the pools buy in was under 40$, now it is a bit more but still well worth it in my opinion.

Ja sam konsolidirao svoj portfolio i izasao iz svih shitara. 95% ovog sto imam sam siguran da ce imati novi ATH u sljedecih 5 godina, to mi je dovoljno da se ne grizem ako zakasnim.

Ja imam targete za izlaz, recimo BTC pocinjem prodavati iznad 56k, pa onda iznad 76k i izaci s vecinom na 95k. To ne mislim veliki dump nego par posto svakih par dana ili kako mi vec bude pasalo. S tim da necu izaci do kraja dio pustam. Slicno i za ostale projekte.

Ono moje gore je dugorocni plan koji znam da necu ostvariti za vrijeme ovog bull runa osim ako ne dodjemo do stvarno epskih brojki. To je plan za recimo 10 godina. Kratkorocno mislim izaci s jedno 70% kada procjenim da je kraj bula a 30% pustam u BTC, ETH, ADA, DOT i mozda jos jedno dva projekta. Sve projekti za koje znam da ce docekati sljedeci bull.

Tih 30 posto pustam jer si nikada ne bi oprostio da kripto nastavi dalje bez mene ako falim izlaz, dok me ne smeta cekanje 4 godine za nove ATH.

Ja si nekako mislim u idealnom svijetu isplatiti dovoljno u fiat da pozatvaram sve kredite, da ostane lijepo sa strane a uz sve to da mi otprilike 50% i ostane u kriptu. Nisam ni blizu toga da se razumijemo, ali uglavnom poanta je ostati s ozbiljnim novcem u kriptu šta bi se reklo zauvijek osim ako se stvari jako promijene.

I am actually thinking Barca will be very good this season. They have enough quality for several players to take over Messi responsibility among them. They will also be a bit of unknown, everybody was basing their tactics against Barca on containing Messi, what will they do now nobody knows.

That financial fair play is a joke. Barca doesn't have enough for players wages and PSG does with all those star players in their team? I am sure Neymar, Mbappe, Ramos, Donnaruma, Di Maria, Icardi and Verati are basically playing for free, right? UEFA should either stop pretending that they care about Financial Fair play or start enforcing it on all clubs. Maybe implement salary cap like in NBA for all members of UEFA.

It seems like we are getting to respectable numbers again, can't wait for new season to start

Ovo je korisno, baš sam se pitao kada će se pojaviti nešto slično jer mi je trebalo da lakše popratim sve šitare na BSC u koje sam ubacio par dolara ili zaradio kroz nekakav staking. Ne očekujem nikada ništa od njih ali na ovaj način je barem lakše kontrolirati.

Da li koristiš wrapped ETH ili kako se to već zove ili trejdaš direkt u ETH? Transakcije su ti manje za wrapped ETH jer svaki trejd ide preko njega pa ako si u ETH svaki put ti ga prvo zamota i odmota na kraju za šta ti plaćaš fee.

Yo did not get me properly or I was not clear enough But good think that this misunderstanding happened since you are actually right. I thought La Liga has been decided to start earlier while the truth is Serie A has been pushed to start one week later.

There is 9 of us currently in the pool. Still expect 3 people to join and hope for one or two surprise participants.

I forgot about that one for now Still plenty of time left and I expect hilarius will be doing it again, if he decides not to do it, I can take it over no problem. I see interest in the pools has diminished from last year. So far we always had more players every year and this year we will less for first time. That goes mainly for Premier League, I am still hoping/expecting same number of players in this pool like last year.

It is probably true and I read the news as well. Problem is Barca is looking childish and petty but they are absolutely right. They can't give new contract to Messi because financial fair play and PSG can? With Neymar, Mbappe, Donaruma, Ramos, Di Maria, Veratti and Icardi already in the team? Please, they are making fun of that rule and should be kicked from Europe because of that. Not gonna happen, but then it is better to dismiss with the rule or put on proper Salary Cap like USA and make sure everybody is compliant.

Did not watch Dinamo game since I was playing football with my mates but I am really happy they passed and Crvena Zvezda did not. Not that I have anything against Zvezda but there would have been some shit situations with supporters for sure. Better we avoided that and our (Croatian) European coefficient got another boost

Really surprised about Rangers, I was sure they are winning this. Killed all my tickets but I know they feel much worse than me so not gonna rant here.

Regarding pinning the thread, I agree with what DireWolfM14 wrote and more importantly I don't think it is actually needed. This pool is running for several seasons and whoever wanted to join it, found out about it sooner or later.

I found it middle of the season and waited for my opportunity to join and never missed football pool from that moment onward.

Imam osjećaj da ako ju iskoristim moram odmah staviti i uputstvo kako da ga ljudi pročitaju. To pogotovo vrijedi za ovu "bijelu" varijantu za koju se ni ne zna da je tamo. Ali dobro bolje znati za taj hack nego ne znati. Ja sam do sada kada sam imao portebu za tako nečime napisao tekst i smanjio font na mislim 4, tek toliko da se vidi da tekst postoji ali da nitko ne može pročitati dok ne stisne quote ili zumira.
