@ndnhc , you can't use the [font ] in the full member signature ( it is not allowed).
It is allowed. You can change the Font Style in the Full Member signature. You just can't change their size. You can also bold it and curve it in Full Member signature. I was wrong , yes I meant the font size (sorry @ndnhc ). |

What if you lose your phone? I'm sure I read there's alternative ways to restore access to it if you lose it.
Contact the support and get your account back. Authy binds the 2FA to your phone numbers. You would need to reset the phone using your email and key in your password and you would gain access to your 2FAs. It isnt hard to get a new sim card for your phone number. This kind of 2FA can be a bit dangerous compared to google authenticator. The email + 2FA is the best solution in my opinion. I think the email verification is easy to add here in the forum, but theymos don't want (or am I wrong ?). Well i'm not pretty sure about him wanting to add the 2 factor but i think its included in the upcoming forum upgrade. He would have to redesign the login page to include two factor and have to make modifications to the database to include 2FA as the SMF for this version didnt include 2FA. I think the ability to recover/reset your password via email actually decreases security. For example BitMiningInvestments just offered to sell me the email address quickseller@live.comI obviously am not going to buy the account, however if I did buy it then I might add it to my bitcointalk profile and he could later try to recover it via social engineering from microsoft (which has a much lower standard to recover accounts then the forum does). Once he recovers the email account he can reset my password and have access to the account. You're wrong on so many levels. Why in the name of all that exists would you : a) buy an email account b) set up an account with an email that you've bought ? Recovering via email increases security by a huge factor, especially if your account is protected by an not crack able password/encrypted. Waiting a year for this feature is way too much. Yes , you're right . It is also possible to use the 2FA , and it will add a major level of security to the email address. |

This is probably the closest to the truth. He obviously deals in accounts in some capacity and is trying to cause a fuss around what he sees as competition.
If thats the case then why did I cause bitpop the most fuss. I don't deal in accounts here. Trading accounts doesnt seem like fun and is a lot of effort for little btc. sigspammers have ruined the forum too and I hate them with a vengence. Hacking scammers is really fun and pays much better especially when there is collateral damage.  What does bitpop have to do with this, and so you hack accounts to do what with them exactly? Troll for fun? How do you make money if you're not selling them? Scammers and trolls (which you are both) do more damage to this forum than 'sig spammers' ever will. He pissed offbitpop a lot when he opened a random scam accusation against him with zero validity. This forum is awesome , but why don't put a simple email verification ( are we "talking" in a bitcointalk forum? bitcoin = security , but it doesn't give the security to the members community. I think it will more efficacy a simple email verification , and for theymos will be a relief not to have to receive all those PMs to "recovery" the accounts) ~ It will prevent all these types of problem (hacked account , etc...) . See this post why that may actually be a step in the opposite direction in terms of protecting account security Simple don't use that email ( quickseller@live.com) , you can also use a gmail email address (with the 2FA). The email verification will be a best option for this forum , I think it is right to add it . |

I think only the 70% of bitcoiners ( or better who own bitcoin) pay with it directly , and the other 30% convert bitcoin >> FIAT money ( like dollar , euro , etc...) and pay the item with the FIAT. However I there are some sites like brawker.com , purse.io , etc where you can pay directly with BTC ( and I think it is better).
