Anonymous BTCD Debit Cards for Fiat Withdrawal

Crypto ⇒ Cash! An Anon Card is similar to a traditional pre-paid debit MasterCard but will allow BitcoinDark users the ability to anonymously transfer BTCD to fiat.

Anon cards will enable users to bridge the divide between Crypto and the Traditional Banking system. What this means is that you will be able to load your Anon card with BTCD and convert to fiat to make purchases or withdrawals.

However, Anon cards allow users to keep personal information private. Traditional debit cards are directly linked to users through personal information that is required in order to receive them, but with Anon Cards, no personal information is required to receive a card so your personal information will remain private, and your use of the card anonymous.

great job guys Smiley

i have a question though, how can the card be totaly anon? arent there anti money launderings laws that prohibits something like this?

i.e. there exists visa/mastercard prepaid credit cards that you can buy and load with money - without a need of registration.
the problem here is though, without registering the prepaid credit card you only have a annual volume of 500-1000 € i think.
could you give some more details about it? also is it still possible to get shares of it?  Grin

greetings
Not all countries have laws that build in the assumption that anybody with money is a criminal. Hopefully the monthly volume limit for the card will be ~$5000 USD. If that is not enough, you would have to get another card. Still haggling with the bank, they seem to not understand crypto time and people are taking some summer holidays!

These cards are meant for personal use, not practical to push through millions of dollars required for large criminal enterprises, so that is how it is allowed. The whole premise that anybody with money is automatically a criminal is just so wrong. I made a lot of money in crypto, am I a criminal? As the crypto economy grows, more and more people will be able to earn a living working in crypto and without all the insane regulations, lawyers, accountants, taxes, etc. it is possible to work less hours and make more money. Of course if you worry about those sorts of things, please comply with all regulations and make sure to properly submit the cost basis for EVERY crypto transaction, including each and every mining block you stake, and properly calculate the capital gains earned using complex accounting methods you need to hire expensive accountant.

James

5000$ per month would be probaly sufficient for the majority of people, i hope that works out - i would be one of the first people to get the card Smiley

tbh it would be ideal to use crypto profits with this card - if its anon u wont feel the weight of government taxes  Grin

I've got through 60$ and 340$ but this is the worst one for me, first time I feel fear.

At 60$ it was play money, few btc and I couldn't care less. Than I managed to make that 30+ btc and invested all in one alt that went down heavily and I still couldn't care less. At September alt jumped up, I recovered and then came bubble, then I made some huge good trades in alts and mcx fees and in no time I was at 500 coins. Around 300 000$ net worth after one year and initial investment of 1000$.

And then I started to make mistake after mistake, investing too early, buying too late etc, etc..

But today I am at my lowest. Got called first time and lost 16 BTC. Not big deal that usually, I have taken losses in that range or bit below before.

But I'm currently only on like 70 BTC that are not locked in various bad investment. So my available net worth without taking losses on invested stuff is barely 30k. And it looks like this id not end of downtrend.

In April, I laughed 340.. my alts investments were still good, not in profit but in acceptable losses. And most important of them were at break even and I was extremely positive it's going to be profit one soon. And I was in fiat with 80k bucks available. Then that big investment went down heavily out of nowhere and instead of being in position to take 120-150 BTC out of it whenever I wanted, I can't take 30 of it now, lol.

It's so different now and it's first time ever I feel fear. Gonna be some heck nervy period in front of me. Got out of much worse one and came one step of dreams, hopefully I'd do it again, and if I do this time it would be dreams. But loooong way to go now, lol.-

Holy ****! How did you lose 430 bitcoins ?? Only with altcoin trading ? Asic hardware ?

Shitcoins and margin trading. Sorry to hear about your losses, seleme. Gotta risk big to win big I guess.

Shitcoins mainly, I got margin called just once. This morning for 16 btc.

Yeah, I had some huge wins and I needed one more step to come to Dreamland. Unfortunately that went wrong so far. Hopefully, it will turn again, I hope it's still just temporary drawdown, I haven't sold anything. And I'm pretty sure I'll recover the biggest losing trade as it's not classic shitcoin investment, not sure how fast and the time between is what is worrying me but hopefully I'll get out of this mud.

the year is not over yet, there will be some big movements in the alt market and in btc (hopefully)!
good luck with your trading Smiley

Whats up with all the 14 activity posters here telling everyone its over, pack your bags and go home?

uhhh how many times do I need to tell you people. My account was banned by moderators for spreading truth and causing a panic amongst the holdtards. That got me banned, so I was required to set up a new account. I've been through the ups and downs of this market and if there was any justice in this world, I would be "legendary".

what was your account name?

Obviously I can't say that or I'll be banned again.

so? just start another one... to prove you are not talking bs... what was your old account name ledg?

just out of interest..but you know I really could not give a crap about it/you... but there is a simple way to prove what you say.. spill the beans, start a new account , you only have like a newbie status anyway so who cares right?  Smiley

Absolutely not. In this short time, "Chuckee" has become an inspiration for many on here and helped them cut their loose before it was too late. I have received several PMs from users asking for my professional insight on the market, and to leave them in this time of need would be unethical on my part.

they always say the same.
btw we need more smileys  Grin

Is manipulation like this on non-crypto exchanges legal?

No regulations :x

are you bagholding too much xrp?  Lips sealed

dont see xrp suceeding, BTCD, just saying.  Wink

Yep, you don't see it. And when you see it you'll probably like those people knowing about bitcoin when it reached 1000$ and find that 400$ is cheap....

its ok if i have the chance to buy 95$ coins next week  Roll Eyes
6087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 17, 2014, 10:04:39 PM

LOL. bears/newbie trolls really trying hard on here last few days.

Oh yeah sure. I'll quote this over and over when we are at 95$.... NEXT WEEK

i will give you 1 btc if that happens next week, can quote me for this l0l
6088  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 17, 2014, 10:01:10 PM

This transition to supposedly 100% may NOT happen for 50 years or more... so in the meantime, BTC will NOT be everything.  And, really I doubt that BTC would completely take over every single aspect of currency.. maybe 80%... and I could give a ratt's ass that smart people think differently... b/c they are likely wrong about that point.. we have a lot of competing storage of values and currencies and transactional mechanisms... and that diversity will likely continue

We all know that Ripple will win the massive adoption race through bank adoption. The best thing to do right now is to buy as much XRP as you can and hold them until it explodes.

Basically it will cost you less than 12 000$ to buy 1/100000 of the network XRP capacity. With Jed new XRP selling commitments this is probably the best opportunity we have to own a significant part of the ripple network.

6092  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wohoo drop drop drop on: August 17, 2014, 09:07:19 PM

I haven't forgotten.  I'm not sure how long I should wait in anticipation, because if you show up 5 years from now yelling "SEE, I FKN TOLD YOU!" I'm going to laugh at you again.

At least you're right in that you own up to your fuckups.

No. The $200 range would have to be part of the Wave 4 correction, DanV style that I had bought into and believed in, which I then abandoned as soon as the dollar signs in my eyes lit up at the prospect of another Bitcoin take-off, but which I am now buying into again, except I aint 'buying' or selling anything to do with crypto.......actually, I never abandoned it all, but I figured on a rise up to around $800 for the B wave of the Primary wave 4 correction......man, I have lost my fucking shirt on Bitcoin in 2014. It has also just come to my attention that I am down around $1.5K on crypto investments that I 'didn't care about', namely 30 Litecoin and 3500 Quark (lol/cringe) that I bought in Nov 2013, which are now worth next to fuck all.........great having so much cash that $1.5K doesn't matter, innit? Except for the fact that I don't, and $1.5K certainly fucking does matter to me.

Anyhow, if Wave A took from Dec - April, and Wave B took from April - June, then Wave C should reach it's conclusion by Dec 2014. Only grounds upon which I can come gloating full of self righteousness after that date, would be if Bitcoin just continues to grind and bounce up weakly as 2013's China and/or Willy bot inspired exuberance is slowly but surely deflated out of the market.

Hi mat,

I think you should just put some btc in cold storage, forget about crypto and come back in some years.
I think this will make your life alot better  Cheesy
6093  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 16, 2014, 09:29:20 PM
Right now every sold BTC can be considered as a loss as the chances to rebuy it for the same or even a lower price are almost non existent.

Reading this from you is kinda disturbing.
I feel like im in twilight zone Cheesy

Btw i got 2 more coins from this
6094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinDark (BTCD)--Sha-256/PoW-PoS hybrid/Bounty Opportunities on: August 16, 2014, 09:25:29 PM
In my opinion if someone don't know how much should he donate.
http://bitcoindark.net/development-pot
Little math 1.6 milion coins guys need 5 k
So if you own 100 k it should be 312.5 BTCD
But let's double it ( ' let say somebody don't know he should donate' )
So
100k           BTCD = 625   BTCD
10k             BTCD = 62.5  BTCD
(1k) 1000    BTCD = 6.25  BTCD
Is it bad idea ?

approve, but people might just be in holidays right now or getting a heartattack  Cheesy

No reason to get a heart attack   Wink

I mean btc price drop and nxtbter hack haha

/edit
@jimmy

of course your are right, it was bter that got hacked!  Wink

Whenever you get a new address, you need to backup the wallet. Or you can do a:
dumpprivkey <addresss>

that will display the privatekey and from that the rest of the info can be recreated when you import it

With telepods, you will be creating new addresses each time you get a telepod. In general it is a good idea to make a local backup whenever you get any new address. USB or encrypted online backup whenever you have received enough new BTCD that you would not like it if it is gone.

James

P.S. To the person that wanted plain english, I have been trying to speak normally, I just cant tell so well if what I am saying is easy or hard to understand. So if there is any specific question about anything, just ask

You broke this one down nicely James.   Smiley

One more question then...... what are the security risks involved with having a wallet unlocked for staking?  If none, I guess I'd just like to know the difference between a locked and an unlocked wallet?

a wallet unlocked only for staking can only stake, to do transaction you will still have to type in your passphrase.
after encrypting your wallet it will always be locked (you cant do anything besides looking) until you unlock it by entering your passphrase - at this point you can do what you want.

so its really important to always encrypt the wallet.
and for more security while staking you can unlock your wallet only for staking.

/edit

i.e. you have your wallet (completely) unlocked for the purpose of staking: whoever gains access to your computer could steal all your funds (without the need of your passphrase)

Because people are moving their coins from cold storage to exchanges in order to sell. shouldn't that be obvious?

The only thing you have made obvious with this post is that you are posting to deceive naiive readers, to shake weak hands.

Weak hands will be shaken sooner or later anyway. This has no effect at all.

It certainly has an impact on the credibility of kireinaha. It identifies him by category, and implies that the behaviours characteristic of that category are likely to proceed from that account.
