6081  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time To Exit Trading on: March 14, 2018, 05:55:48 PM
There is a time for exit only for the day traders and short term traders. The traders who invest in crypto for a long time don't need to wait for the right time to exit since their exit is pre-planned and is yet to come after a long period. For the day traders and short term traders, they should watch the market carefully and observe what the media and news says about crypto because that creates a direct impact on it. As you said "Buy the rumors , sell the news " works like a charm in this case.
6082  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: March 14, 2018, 03:30:17 PM
Yes it does. I had the same doubt when I first entered into a signature campaign but then the forum made me realize that it is effective. There are so many people using the forum every day and signature campaign is a way through which many people advertise an ICO. It gets recognized by the other people easily since many people advertise it at the same time. Many investors who are interested in it , join their ICOs and invest in it. It also paves way for the ICO to develop the team by adding more interested developers to their team.
6083  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic or to be calm on: March 14, 2018, 02:41:27 PM
the more days the bitcoin price slumps down, how do you think, whether the price will stabilize or it will keep falling down ,, seems like I'm getting scared Angry

This dumps don't seem to be related with news, or bitcoin development. They actually look like coordinated sell outs to crash the market and cause some panic. Some say it's Mt Gox sell out, maybe it is, maybe it's not. It's hard to tell, but they don't look natural, so they should be over eventually. Or maybe it's from rich people that don't believe in bitcoin, or that just have so much coins, that they simply want to sell out a few, without completely destroying the market, so they do these sell outs in a timed way.

Either way there is a lot of selling pressure right now, and it's hard for the market to follow the good news that we are getting in terms of bitcoin development and adoption.

I would say don't worry about it. The sell out sill eventually stop, and since LN is near, and adoption should probably happen in the future, the markets will eventually resume a very positive trend.
Your post gives me hope. I was in the same position as OP . I was a little scared since it has been so many weeks since the price has gone down. Although Bitcoin is trying hard to break the resistance and go up, it is failing repeatedly. The reason might be anything since it is a bear market. It is better to stay away from the market for a few months. I hope the price might skyrocket when the implementation of the lightning network is done.
6084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google ban crypto ads. on: March 14, 2018, 02:27:59 PM
Another bad news against cryptocurrencies. The price of BTC along with other cryptocurrencies is already going down these days. This type of negative news against crypto will decline the price further more. It has been 3 months now since the decline of BTC. It has been going down day by day and as the article says it is quite true that we don't know how the future of crypto will be.  So it's better to be alert and take the necessary steps before anything bad happens.
6085  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Artificial Intelligence on: March 13, 2018, 05:50:25 PM
Where have you read the article ? What is the source of your context ?
There are many rumors that keep on spreading these days.Kindly update the post with the source so that users could believe what you are saying.
Although AI has entered the market and has showed us its great ability, it's tough to believe something like this. It would be really good though if something like this would be happening since investors would be benefitting a lot from it. If it were true, it would still be a little risky since the accuracy rate is 83% in which case some of the legit ICOs might get a bad name because of it.
6086  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do people use bad exchanges like YoBIt? on: March 13, 2018, 05:42:13 PM
There are many reasons why many people use Yobit. Yobit has been in the market from quite a few years and it has developed over the years. Although it is still a shitty site, it has attracted many users from throughout the world. It offers a wide variety of features such as dice, investbox, yobitcodes etc...
Apart from that it also gives free coins from the forks which not many other exchanges gives. It has supported almost every fork that has ever happened till date. So even though it is a shitty exchange, people still use it because of the features it provides.
6087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people have no faith in ICO's? on: March 13, 2018, 01:44:02 PM
It's not like what you think. There are different people who think differently about investing in ICOs.
For instance some think they are all scam becuase they would have already invested in some ICOs which would have scammed them. Some think that ICOs don't generate enough profit because of theire earlier investment in some ICO would have resulted in a loss. Some think ICOs are a good way to earn huge profit in a small amount of time which is why they invest in them. So in most cases, the people who are against ICOs are becuase of their past bad incidents with ICOs.
6088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My thought outline on wether to invest in bitcoin. on: March 13, 2018, 01:29:09 PM
Please provide feedback where you disagree but also please let me know where you agree
Cons
• Tethering subpenoa by US government
• US banks boycotting bankers ability to purchase bitcoin
• Facebook banning adds
• Recent news about scammers
Cons Summary: Bitcoin has been made harder to purchase and potential users are less secure in their purchase.
Facebook had banned ads related to cryptocurrencies becuase of the continuous scams that were ongoing in the crypto market. This should be taken positively because it will eliminate fraudlent ICOs and will increase the opportunity of potential ICOs to be more successful.

Pros
• Bitcoins history to bounce back
• At its core the value that is provided by bitcoin as a service has not been devalued.
• Despite negative news bitcoin has held positive hype and faith from its community.
Agree with the Pros since they are true. Bitcoin does have the ability to recover from any crash/crisis .

Unanswerable questions:
• What is bitcoins actual value minus any hype and with all future regulations added?
• How far down is bitcoin going to go? (guess 2-5k)
• How far back up is going going to go in a 5 year time span (guess 50k)
1.We can answer your first question since t requires the knowledge of future regulations which can only be known when the time arrives.

2.Bitcoin can go as low as $2k - $4k because last year the price pumped around $2k and kept on increasing until the dump from $19k occured. So according to my calculations the real price should be anywhere near $2k - $4k .

3.I believe the price might reach $100k in the next 5 years if the rate of growth is the same as last year. If the growth rate is average then price could be anywhere near to $40k - $50k .

P.S: All the speculations are based on experience and doesn't guarantee anything.
6089  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin a pump and dump scheme? on: March 13, 2018, 01:15:42 PM
It can't be a pump and dump scheme. You can call it  a bubble or a tulip mania but it can surely not be a pump and dump scheme.  A pump and dump is something when large group of people starts buying an asset at the same time and create a massive pump in price in a short time. In case of Bitcoin the price is although increasing but it is taking a good time since we have been waiting for so many years for BTC to reach at this level. Bitcoin has been dumped many times because there are many early investors who have the majority of the supply and many other times it was dumped due to panic and FUD but that doesn't mean it is a pump and dump.
6090  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: I want to learn coding / with blockchain whats the best language? on: March 12, 2018, 05:32:37 PM
I have recently joined an IT firm and through my experience I can say you that if you have the passion to learn coding then it won't be difficult for you to understand how its done. The first and foremost thing you need to do is learn the basics of coding and the logic needed ro solve problems. Once you do this, you can select any of the languages of your choice to start coding and practice the problems level by level. I would suggest you to start with python and then c followed by c++ and then java. Once you learn all these you will know what to do next. It will surely take time, at least 6 months for you to get on the track.
6091  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchanges will survive? on: March 12, 2018, 03:26:06 PM
For some reason, I have my faith on Bittrex.
But everyone is talking about coins and ICOs but I tend to believe most of the exchanges will be closed soon.
An exchange is a hell of a thing.

I believe Bittrex will hold it very well until a very long time. While there have been many issues regarding trading, balances, deposit and withdrawals, Bittrex has never betrayed anyone I can remember of till date. It has been running smooth from the beginning of its launch. Apart from Bittrex, Binance is the one which I think will make it huge in the future. I have read much about and have been following it online for many months. It has a good team behind it which is all it takes for any exchange to survive till the end.
6092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of my investment move? on: March 12, 2018, 03:18:17 PM
I have never heard of the DIM before. These days the ICOs which get more hype in the beginning are the ones which are able to make it to the top later. We can take the example of Electroneum, EOS, ADA which received more hype in their ICO stage and are moving very well now. The current market is bearish and while most of the cryptocurrencies are falling , these are holding it quite well. So I would advise you to take pretty good time to do a research about the coin/token you are going to invest in because you are planning on to invest in it for a long term.
6093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple: Global Payments Infrastructure Takeover in Progress on: March 12, 2018, 03:03:35 PM
Ripple does have the chances to rise up very high in the near future since it's technology is being implemented by many banks these days. Also, it's team is creative enough and they are into the development of the currency which gives more advantage to the XRP investors to speculate accordingly. Though there are many advantages of investing in XRP, it does have a few down sides which many people keep telling about. Its centralization is the biggest one among them. So we have to make our own choice whether to invest in it or not by keeping all the pros and cons keeping in mind.
6094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Country who accepts cyrptocurrency on: March 12, 2018, 07:56:36 AM
China was the dominant country which used cryptocurrencies but later after the ban in China , the dominance moved over to Japan. I appreciate every country who accepts cryptocurrencies and have legalized it. There are many other countries who have not legalized cryptocurrency because they don't find any profit in it. Governments can't benefit much from cryptocurrencies which is why they have not legalized it. Though there are some countries who have legalized it but regulated it to their benefits.
6095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "ETHereum crashed " don't worry and wait on: March 11, 2018, 06:43:31 PM
Remember when ETH crashed from $20 down to $8 in a week? That was the end of the world. It sat there and did nothing for about 6 months. Agonizing. The death of ether. Will never come back.

And then a few months later it had gone up to $400. 50x gains. Ah, that was sweet.

Remember right after that when ETH crashed from $400 down to $200 in a month? That was the end of the world. Oh, the insults we had to bear here on the forum. The death of ether. Will never come back.

It took 2 months to come back to $400, the sat around $300 and did nothing for two months. That was the end of the world. Agonizing. The death of ether.

But then it came back and went to $1400. Ah, that was sweet. We were all picking out our Lamborghinis. Mine was orange.

Remember when it crashed from $1400 down to $650? That was the end of the world. The death of ether. will never come back.

Moral of this story: if you think ether is dying, if you think it will never come back, you're too young in this game or you haven't been paying attention. If you think after a while of ether doing nothing that it is suddenly going to go up to some ridiculous price, then yeah... you've been paying attention.
Funny and True at the same time Grin Grin . Ethereum is my choice of coin that will make it to the top in future. Although it's price has come down to more than half now it still is holding well according to me. There will be many criticising Ethereum and Bitcoin but then who cares when the dogs bark. We can't bark back at them right. Just play the game along and knowing when to enter and exit would make us good amount of money at the end of the game.
6096  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading actually worth it? on: March 11, 2018, 06:36:50 PM
There are only two types of traders in the crypto market who can actually earn some serious money in trading. This answers your question whether we can make serious money in trading crypto currency."Yes, we can". People who "Actively" trade cryptocurrencies on a regular basis are the ones who can make good money becuase they know what the current market is doing and hence they can trade accordingly if they have got good skills. The second ones are like me who buy crypto and hold it for long term or for atleast the moment when they get good amount profit while selling. All the other traders most probably lose the money they invest in trading.
6097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Regulation worldwide on: March 11, 2018, 06:17:09 PM
Everyday lots of new investors are joining with digital currency world and starting to grow their business on crypto world.
I won't agree with you on this because if this would be happening then  the price of Bitcoin would have increased a lot by now or at least would have crossed $15k but that doesn't seem to be the case. In fact BTC is dropping in price day by day. People are selling BTC and other cryptocurrencies which can be noticed if we look at the market cap.

Coming to the regulation part, I believe it should happen, at least for now because this way it will be legal in some countries which will in turn make people believe in BTC and then the price might rise again. BTC's regulation has its own advantages and disadvantages which would require a new topic to be created since it is vast.
6098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a good investment? on: March 11, 2018, 06:07:13 PM
Ethereum is really a good coin in my opinion. I have been watching Ethereum from quite long and according to me, it has the required potential that is needed to survive the decline of prices during a crash. It has in fact hold it's price quite well in the current decline as many other altcoins with good potential have gone way down. Ethereum will surely be worth lot more in the future because unlike Bitcoin, it's developers are actively participating in developing the currency further more.
6099  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beyond bitcoin on: March 11, 2018, 12:50:20 PM
I think I will agree to whatever the person above have stated. Bitcoin is no doubt a great currency and a trchnology but as technology gets updated, there "Must" be a new or existing cryptocurrency that will surely outperform Bitcoin in terms of price and technology.
I believe ETH and NEO have great potential to increase in price in future although it might be very tough for them to beat BTC.
6100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the Biggest Bubble in Human History? on: March 11, 2018, 09:53:59 AM
If you think Bitcoin has no value , then gold, diamond and pearls should not have any value too. Its the humans who give a value to an asset. The only difference is that Bitcoin is virtual and the others are physical. Who knows, gold , diamond and pearls might be just stones in some parallel universe. So we can't say that Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency has no value at all. It took 9 years for BTC to reach at such price.
