@buwaytress is there any minimum amount to be wagered to claim the free bets?, and is it compulsory to do KYC to claim those free bets?. Also what you say about the big football teams is correct because 8 out of 10 times one will win their bet placed on Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool, and I’m limiting this to premier league only because these 3 teams have consistently performed this season.

Min is 0.1 mbtc, can't imagine anyone going through the trouble to play with that amount though;) But man, instead of asking, better just go and see FJ's own sportsbook and promos for terms. Trofo listed some, I did, but you always go by their own ToC so we don't misinform you.

https://fortunejack.com/promotions/4-plus-1/

Oh and I said big football leagues... not teams =)

Not long left (til 27th Nov) til this promo is done, so can squeeze in a couple more MatchDays thanks to bloody international break, unless you want to place early early bets.

Klopp’s existing contract expires in summer 2024. I’m thankful to Aston Villa for training Gerrard up as a PL manager so he can get some experience before taking over from Klopp (if Klopp decides to go in 2024).

 Wink

Me too! I mean, I honestly really personally thought he was wise to stay on with Gers, and he's always been saying he wants to get experience first but I suppose 3 seasons (and what a successful one it was) in Scotland is good enough to cut his teeth on.

My second favourite Liverpool player (Carra's always been the one occupying my heart oddly) and so many good memories, plus Villa is actually exciting to watch even without Grealish (who actually played against Gerrard in Stevie's last FA Cup game!)...

And yeah, we have to enjoy Klopp for these last couple of years more... I'd love to keep him but he seems set to leave and we won't stop him but what a dream if Gerrard steps in after (even if I agree with cryptofrka that it's a hard call to be ready for such demands)... and he'll have Villain training which can't be bad! Just don't want him to take the baton from Ole, yknow?

First game: Everton, then Liverpool. Sorry Stevie, but 1 win and 1 loss, all right?

Nice free bet but unfortunately I did not get it, maybe it is a random reward for active users. Hope your parlay will be a win and you can have free balance to play anything you want in Fortunejack.

As Trofo says, almost certainly from the ongoing 4+1 promo (bet 4 accas from selected big football leagues and you get the average amount settled back as a freebet, regardless of the eventual outcome of those bets). Made a lot of freebets from this promo last time around and already myself up to 2 now (with very bad luck though heh).

P.S. Tornike. My email server marked you as spam (I unmarked). Think you sent us the same email 3 times in quick succession (regarding early release on a new game). Might want to check that out.

Cricket was horrendous, both favorites looked good at the start of the match but the team that bats the last always has the edge for some reason.

Good thing I didn't bet much on the game yesterday and cut my losses midway through the end before Australia turned things around.

Cricket's like most American sports for me, betting wise. Don't know much about it, and the 1x2 odds (ok 12 odds) never look attractive to me unless it's live and someone's trailing a lot (but trailing teams don't normally catch up right?).

I have hit a couple of weird cricket Blackjack specials from Brett Lee, don't really see them around anymore but I tend to skip cricket when I scan the Specials page now.

I doubt that "most" traders are shorters, I mean maybe now but I doubt it. Why? Because if most of them are shorters, how did we move from 30k to 67k+ in few months? That means that most people are not even on leverage, most people are buying on spot and then some few of them are on leverage trading and some of those are shorters so it must be not so much money involved compared to rest of the market.

I am not saying that it is not impossible but I am definitely doubting that most people are shorters, most people are holders if you ask me. I mean imagine how much bitcoin is just sitting in wallets, not even moving, that’s the real majority if you ask me. However, the reality is that those who speak the loudest are probably the ones who shorted, only because they really want it to drop and it is really going up so much so they are working extra time.

Think you could be confusing yourself. We're talking about traders, not people in general. You can't call yourself a trader if you're a holder, it's almost exactly the opposite principle. Traders want to close positions as quickly as possible so they put their liquidity to work.

You're asking how we moved from 30k to 67k? From buyers, investors, retail and institutional, who want Bitcoin to own, not to trade.

Not hating on traders at all! Wish I could do it =) Just saying I'm certain most that do are selling (including myself, I use p2p platforms solely for selling, of course I only sell because I earn Bitcoin, so I wouldn't really call myself a trader but there you go).
6086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: November 11, 2021, 08:44:28 PM
So how did you all do with cricket? All I know is England got their hearts broken, but can't really tell if any of the stuff you guys were betting on hit. Even Googling the results don't tell me about the 4s and 6s (what are those haha).

EFL Trophy 6/1 special hit last night, felt good about it but I only put in a small bet. Spain/Germany/Croatia/Portugal all to lead at HT was at 7/1 and Portugal leg already killed it. No betting on games for me this internationals, but I do like me specials.
6087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 11, 2021, 06:40:26 PM
On the other hand, Luis Suarez has a great international career. I am not saying that Suarez cannot play in club football but what I am saying is Luis Suarez is good at both club football and international football.

Um, are we talking about the same Luis Suarez?

1. The guy who won the treble (Cup, La Liga, Champions League) with Barca in his first season, and was one of THE key players in that crazy Neymar-Messi-Suarez triumvirate?

2. The very same guy who is still La Liga's highest assist+goal record holder (in the same league where Messi and Ronaldo played)?

3. The guy who just won Atletico its first La Liga in a long time, also in his first season with them?

Sure, he's also won international honours, but it's hard to argue for me he's better with his national team than he is at club football. He's won 1 Copa... and was responsible for losing 2019 Copa (missed penalty in QF shootout).

6088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Genting Casinos awarded for their safer betting standards on: November 11, 2021, 06:15:24 PM
Wait, does that have anything to do with the Genting casino in Malaysia, it looks like the Genting casino is not foreign to me, the only difference is that there is a base in the UK and in Malaysia, Genting casino in Malaysia is one of the oldest casinos operating since 1969, it is the richest revenue casino ever listed, after all, Genting casino in Malaysia is also a Legal casino, this casino is currently led by Lim Kok Thay.

If you visit Malaysia it is very easy you find Genting casino in hotels and resorts.

What I want to ask about Genting casino is: is there any relationship/partnership between UK and Malaysia, I mean the owner.

Missed out this topic so replying belatedly.

Genting Casinos is, indeed, owned by Malaysian super tycoons under Genting group. Actually, you'd be surprised to learn just how many UK casinos are actually owned by Asian big cats.

Just checked Genting Casinos and it's the exact same Genting logo too. Not sure about safer gaming standards award, but probably compared to land-based casinos, sure.

I can feel Mino Raiola's handwriting Wink I would be very surprised that such an agent would require the least salary for his ward, and even deprived himself in terms of finances Grin Another question is whether the management of Manchester United agrees to such conditions. The series with the extension of Pogba continues and every week there are new rumors, because just a week ago it was said that Pogba could not agree with his current club and wanted to return to Juventus and sign a three-year contract, even with a salary reduction. I think it's all agency games and stuffing information into the press in order to put pressure on the management of the club.

Ronaldo, for sure, Pogba, nah. Don't get me wrong, I was in awe at him while he was at Juventus, but he's been slowly regressing at United, doesn't deserve a new contract (and if he did they'll keep playing him out of position and in a shitty formation).

As a neutral who wants to see him back at his best, I'd love for him to return to the Old Lady.
6090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 11, 2021, 04:04:14 PM
Portugal has a difficult match in their hands today and Ireland can honestly make a surprise .Portugal needs a win badly here if they win they will only need a draw in the final match against Serbia to go to the World Cup.Luxemburg match is honestly difficult to predict and i will stay away from that match today

I'm staying away from every single game tonight. Tempted to look at Ireland and Greece but the odds, while pretty, just somehow didn't give me enough juice to go walk up to markets with a bet. Now if the odds were slightly prettier, say 10/1 and up, yeah, I'd have a go.

Internationals might look a bit more interesting after the first round of games or after qualifications are set but otherwise I'm taking a football break on regular markets.

I am not sure about all of the points that you are making buwaytress, but I will acknowledge that your point about the "it's too BIG to pump as much as it used to pump" blah blah blah nonsense has been a repeated theme (talking point) to cause people to fail refuse to adequately prepare for UP on a number of occasions, just like you mentioned.. $100 $1,000 and a whole hell of a lot of other price points, too.

Yeah, I saw it myself at 10,000 -- one guy liquidated and left even this forum (but at least his reason was just to enjoy life and stay true to his personal price target), but a few others I was in contact with did that because they thought that really was it. I wasn't around for $10 or $100 but Twitter and memeverse record plenty of instances.

The same nonsense has been asserted to cause people to believe that they are justified in investing in shitcoins also, and largely it seems that bitcoin has been absorbing value in such a way that it has been keeping up with its own various value propositions.. and sure, maybe it cannot pump as much.. so instead of going up 1000x and then 100x in various subsequent time snapshots, it might ONLY be capable of going up 50x in a similar time snapshot, but still does not mean that it cannot continue to have exponential price rises that continue to beat the pants off of a large number of other asset classes and to remain as the best in vestment, even if there might be uncertainties regarding how much it is able to pump in some 4 year cycle or if the cycle might deviate from its earlier time expectations.

+100!

I still can't believe reading the reasonings altcoin shillers make up for their x1000 "analyses". People still can't wrap their heads around the fundamental supply and network reasons for why Bitcoin is valued the way it is, choosing the lazy route of projecting market rationale and capitalization.

"It's only 0.0001% of BTC market cap so of course it can go 10000x and only be 1% of BTC, which is so conservative!"
6092  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH choo choo time ? on: November 11, 2021, 03:05:41 PM
Other traders were saying that the market now were too good that almost the top 10 crypto in the market were all in bullish trend and somehow as a trader it mean that we must be careful because if there's no price correction takes place after it then we will might going to see a massive price drop again, it is still expected that the correction may takes place which we don't know when but I am also waiting for a price correction of bitcoin. I am expecting that there might be a little price correction coming after hitting $68K which is another record for the ATH of bitcoin.

Nah, traders are saying that because most of them are shorters. And a lot of them also thought Bitcoin was done with the 63k ATH. Leveraging long-term positions, and now feeling the pain and shame and regret of not getting on the train, holding a ticket to get off that keeps getting less attractive.

We've seen a few corrections already. In the midst of one right now. But we're no longer experiencing crazy parabolic gains, either, so the bears are probably squirming in their seats hating on the relaxed moves up and muted moves down.
6093  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin makes new ATH. More ATHs to come shortly. on: November 11, 2021, 06:34:29 AM
Have a little faith, because we are still approaching the month when beautiful things happen (of course, if you believe in Santa Claus🎅) - and if you remember the end of 2017, who then believed that the price in December would double?

Tell you what, 100k by end of 2021 is still a heck lot more plausible than Santarina sitting me on her lap and asking if I've been a good boy. Yes, even with this current "dip" right now.

I absolutely remember Dec 2017. I would really not like a repeat, though. 100k by the end, in a series of weekly highs, followed by a good half more year of slow swells, and then a more relaxed return to, say, 50(?), where it plays for a few more years.

Since I'm recounting my life-long Christmas wish, I might also win a nice lottery or two and swagger into an OTC office and plonk an order down.

There are reports coming out that after Dean Smith getting sacked Aston Villa is close to make Steven Gerrard their next manager. Most of us know how well Steven Gerrard managed Rangers and holded a dominant result throughout the league with Rangers. I think getting Steven Gerrard for the job is a great target and surely with the squad they currently right now, they can bounce back if they get an experienced manager.

I think he's brilliant too, and he and Rangers were just the right fit. Made for that sort of club feeling the thirst induced by their direct Old Firm rivals. But Stevie's always been a bit pragmatic about his own abilities and has said before he needs more experience, more reputation, more clout. Which he no doubt will gain in his current tenure.

I think it's cool he's linked but I hope he has the sense not to take the trip back to England just yet. Get Gers properly fighting in Europe, an appearance once more in Champions League, stamp their dominance in Scotland, and restore them to their old glory. Then, and then, he'll be ready for a job like this.

You can believe whatever you like in terms of the BIGGER players abilities or inabilities to move the market or to take advantage of momentum to push the market further than what it might have otherwise gone, and even your seemly somewhat detached beliefs that BTC market has become "too big" to move.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Brain tells me "too big" but brain also is reminded by everything else going on around crypto and fiat how pointless it is to rely on brain (for instance, the US dollar which was certainly too big to just allow to print to insanefinity, yet went ahead and did anyway). And god knows how many people thought $100 was too big, or $1000, as evidenced by countless hands letting go at those peaks, believing the unbelievable had impossibly happened and that that was it.

We've even got bloody JPM ascribing the true value "minus volatility" of Bitcoin today as way more than S2F's 130k range, so who's to say that very same weakness can't push price above and beyond what's "true"?

If I win, I'm throwing a send-pizza-to-all-participants party with the prize, cause I'll be flush =D

No experience but I've scouted around there and on others.

I actually have some NFTs all on -- never bought any, all dropped to me or claimed a couple of years ago from when people were giving out stuff. They're relatively small projects so OpenSea is where you'd find some of them but the 2 main ones I have, have their own marketplaces (internal) and I will say from what I've seen, people aren't looking any longer to list non-premium on OpenSea due to high fees (very, very high, often more than the NFT value itself).

I have sold one NFT on Treasureland, put up what I thought was a ridiculous price in BNB back in May and someone actually bought last month. So I have tasted this "money for nothing" NFT thing already.

Pancakeswap (BSC chain) looks like their NFT marketplace is launching real soon and people will flock there, for the cheap fees if nothing else. a few cents to trade and mints as opposed to hundreds of dollars on Ethereum. No brainer I guess if people look past blockchain security.

Think there is a way to port over cheaply using Polygon (L2) on OpenSea to avoid fees but haven't had the need/desire to check.

Thanks for the picks, box looks amazing. So it was +1 deal to bring your significant others on the trip as well? Classy touch from Sportsbet if my guess is correct.

Yeah, it was, absolute class -- my +1 has now seen Liverpool and Arsenal play without really being a fan of football at all. Her colleagues, many are Gunners, for some reason, and she kept them updated on demand as the match went on (they watch with 2-3 min delay). Was also my first time making bets on paper slips (they come into the box asking if you want, odds nowhere near SB's haha), even at UK bookies in past I used a terminal.

And the pitch yeah. My school days spent running on pitches that had goats eating from them, and then parts of the pitch no one wants to go on as the thorny weeds get at your bare feet. Never mind the grass but uneven clods of earth are what tropical pitches look like. I did train at the national stadium actually and they had practice pitches you could rent, those were the best we had but even then, uneven and leave-your-boots-if-you-jump muddy when raining or bruise-your-heels hard when sunny. I do remember hilarious saying the pitches in UK get rock-hard in winter though and I've seen non-league pitches and they also look shite haha.

Emirates definitely many steps up from Highbury I guess.

6098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you think of Meta (Facebook) allowing bets in the metaverse on: November 10, 2021, 01:16:14 PM
Maybe I'm old-fashioned but you don't get good results when targeting a completely different bunch of people for a completely different type of interaction. You don't advertise gaming to gamblers, nor gambling to gamers, not if you want great results, anyway.

Gamblers look for value, gambling entertainment, excellent customer support, maybe interaction with other gamblers. They're not going to switch over to some fun metaverse Facebook thing to get their kicks. Bitcoin gamblers especially chose Bitcoin for a specific purpose, at odds with many of Facebook's principles.

And Zynga poker players will never be the same type of users as we are.

Circa 2013 for me. Was a journalist and told to cover the Silk Road goings on. Did, even made a wallet and got some faucet stash to try it out (research, you know) but neglected to look deeper. My excuse was a painful experience with e-gold about a decade earlier, just saw this as yet another p2p currency that would inevitably get knocked over by the US government.

Would be 8 years into it by now had I dug deeper. But no regrets. 2016 became my entry point and my 5-year plan isn't the worst thing to admire =)
6100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎰 Sportsbet.io 🎰 "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: November 10, 2021, 10:23:34 AM
@Betwrong welcome to Club Soccer Blackjack! I actually recently had the honour of personally meeting one of the brains behind this special offer.

1. It really is as simple as it sounds. On the match, every card, corner, and goal counts as 1 point, from kickoff to full time whistle (90mins plus added time). Cards only count if the recipient is active on field so benched players and other staff don't count.

If the total points are 16-20, it is considered a push and bets are voided. An exact score of 21 pays out 21/1! Any other result is considered a Bust (loss).

2. As icopreds says, this and all other specials on Sportsbet can't be placed as part of a multibet/acca/parlay. So it is a single bet. I know, I've tried and the bet won't be accepted haha.

Good luck! I play every game I have the chance to bet on =)
