6101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is KuCoin better than HitBTC for trading altcoins? on: December 17, 2019, 03:55:02 PM
Obviously yes, apart from the outrageous charges on HitBTC, it's very obvious most active traders on the exchange are bots most especially as the orders (buy or sell) are mainly in small fractions just to manipulate the price of the tokens (coins) been traded. From my experience kucoin is next to Binance in the exchange ranking when it comes to trading altcoins. Both exchange are somehow similar and if you're not told you won't realize you're using two different Exchanges.

Next to their outrageous fees is their scamming operations which has resulted to many previous customers including myself to dislike the exchange and some have aired their views on the forum. Do some research and you'll find them but to give a direct answer I would advice you abstain from patronizing HitBTC. In some instances I prefer kucoin to Binance due to the problem I encounter when trading with Binance mobile.

6103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: December 17, 2019, 03:35:26 AM
Do you tell others about your big winnings?
Or do you wait for the time to pass and then talk?

It all boils down to the motivation behind your storytelling, if you telling people about your big winning main purpose is to brag about it to them then obviously, it isn't the right thing to do and as such it's not a good thing to talk about them but supposedly your reason is to tell your story so they serve as a motivation/inspiration to others then of course, you should never shy away from letting the community (your audience) know about the big winnings.

Sometimes your story could be the reason another gambler profit by trying the same gambling strategy that's why the testimony feature is enable on some gambling site to attract other gamblers into patronizing them based on the experience of others which were positive in a hope to replicate same success.
6104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Deflationary model failed? on: December 17, 2019, 03:24:04 AM
The idea was very unique, then why they are not making a success? What can be the reason guys?

Haven't heard much about the other projects you mentioned so I won't be basing my reply on them instead I'll reply based on the knowledge I have on one of the example you mentioned which is BOMB. Although this is a success based on what you presume successful project to be but I think it's a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. The only reason why it hasn't failed is because it's still been hyped but others have lost the hyped that brought them into the limelight.

For starters, the deflationary model is just a speculative model without any real life product as the project utilizing this model just promise a continuous increase in price of their token, which to me is just another form of ponzi scheme since the only factor causing the increasing of price is a promise and no real life adoption or usability.
6105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin now Pump and Dump? on: December 17, 2019, 03:08:15 AM
But recently, I have also gotten another perspective that bitcoin might just be a tool in the hands of a few whales, manipulated for quick and short gains on daily bases.

Firstly you have to understand that anything tradable can be manipulate by some few individuals to favour their greediness, cryptocurrency is way easier to manipulate due to its volatile nature and market capitalization. Bitcoin has always experience some manipulation in the past but its price success hasn't been built on price manipulation instead it's built on the trust and believe the community is having on the technology.

The last spike in the cryptocurrency market in general was cause by the optimistic nature of ICO investors plus previous halving which both bitcoin and other existing cryptocurrency profited from. For such success to be recorded once again sometime has to trigger the optimism believe once again among the community which the halving of block reward occuring in 2020 might just introduced as from past history, the price of bitcoin has always reacted positive after a successful halving. You should pay less attention to analysts as all they do is speculate as not one individual knows the future of bitcoin, not even Satoshi.

6107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 16, 2019, 12:19:05 PM
Round of 16:

My picks in bold. What are yours?

Dortmund vs PSG
Real Madrid vs Manchester City
Atalanta vs Valencia
Atletico vs Liverpool
Chelsea vs Bayern
Lyon vs Juventus
Tottenham vs Leipzig
Napoli vs Barcelona

There'll definitely be some upset in the round of 16 so some club which on paper can easily make it pass the round of 16 based on their opponents will be surprised. Never write city off as they're capable of defeating any team on their best day. Chelsea game isn't an easy match but it's my club so I'll definitely be hoping they advance.
6108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stable coins and Liquity problem on: December 16, 2019, 07:06:43 AM
There is Not enough ways to Get stable coins like usdt in to cash
And what we need is Something like app so we can pay with stable coins at Grocery store!

Why do we need stablecoins to pay for groceries when we already have bitcoin and probably other cryptocurrency that can be used to pay for the groceries. Don't forget stablecoin weren't introduced into the industry to replace bitcoin and other currency but was introduced due to the need to minimize losses when the market is experiencing a downward movement. Beside things like this might discredit the importance of cryptocurrency and we should be more willing to utilize our coins and not just use them as investment vehicles (store of value).

They should be spent like how our everyday fiat currency is been spent although not misused like the OP is suggesting e.g ethereum been used as a currency to pay for groceries when the likes of bitcoin/Litecoin is present etc.
6109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 7 Things to Know to Become a Successful Crypto Trader on: December 16, 2019, 06:56:58 AM
1) Build a diversified portfolio: Beginners put all their eggs in one basket while a professional would know what to do exactly. The smarter approach is to build a diversified portfolio based on market cap, tech and team behind the project. This decreases the risk of incurring losses.

Irrespective of all this yet when the bear market comes, it affects all the altcoins so what was the need of diversifying in the first place if your investment capital isn't protected from this. Diversifying in cryptocurrency was only favourable when the market is experiencing positive return as the chances of profiting more increases although in the period were market price is declining it because a negative and wrong decision to make.

You're fall better diversifying to other assets outside cryptocurrency since they're not related and your investment capital will be protected from a downward movement in the market.
6110  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is buying bitcoin using ewallets like Paypal safe? on: December 16, 2019, 06:48:12 AM
It's totally safe considering you'll be recieving the bitcoin first before crediting the seller assuming you're carrying out the transaction through peer2peer means like how many buyers does on the forum and for transactions you're mandated to pay before your recieve the bitcoin, you can utilize the service of a third party users to stand as escrow.

If you're using the service of a Exchange provider via website, you can research on the site to avoid falling victims to scam and feel free to ask for favourable recommendation on the forum and users wih the right knowledge will be willing to assist but still carryout personal research on the recommendations.
6111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New solutions on existing industries on: December 16, 2019, 06:38:16 AM
Hello there. What I have noticed these days - there are more and more solutions being brought to the market, however every particular one requires deeper analysis. And what I always pay attention to - practical value and benefits for users. What makes sense - there are pretty young and bold solutions even on the industries with large key players.

Have you stopped to ask yourself if those new solution are really that necessary?, There are some new solution i see that doesn't technically need a token to execute per se supposedly they're really interested in bettering the industry and fastening the adoption of cryptocurrency they can easily make use of already well established coins like bitcoin and still succeed to implementing their new solution.

Looking at the Exchange industry as an example, everyday new solution are been introduced but they're been accompanied by worthless tokens thereby introducing more shitcoins into the market. Supposedly this new solutions utilize existing cryptocurrency the story today might have been different and we would had have less worthless Exchange tokens circulating the market.
6112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 15, 2019, 09:39:55 AM
Just hope the spending will be done wisely mostly on defenders, we saw the importance of a strong defence in yesterday game. ~snip
Are you really sure that Chelsea must focus on defense?
I think Chelsea are also quite difficult to put goals in the opponents goal, it looks like they also need a striker in the next transfer window.

Hope you observe Abraham always returning back to defend set piece like free kicks and corners, supposedly we had defenders that can take clear of such threat without needing additional support we (Chelsea) can easily counter attack our opponents and probably get some goals. Abraham is performing even more that we expected although I won't deny the truth of him needing support. We have players like Pulisic, Mount that can assist Abraham to bring in goals when the right passes are completed.

But just like I said, Lampard has missed something he looks confused lately on the touchline, maybe mount should be given some break to think about his position in the first 11 just as he did to Pulisic (and got a positive result). Using two strikers has been ineffective so far, maybe Giroud can introduce something new when we need crosses to breakdown our opponents defense.
6113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold backed coins are real?? on: December 15, 2019, 09:23:25 AM
what do you guys have to say about new projects that are backed by real gold? do you know any project that is legit and backed by real life Gold and not scam? any one have information about PGpay project?

The new projects are hardly what they advertise themselves to be, majority of them are just profiting from the hype of already existing project's with similar idea like the gold backed coins. It isn't that hard to established a project backed by real gold considering you have the gold in store. so for your question on that area I would say yes, we can have real projects that aren't scam based on the backed by gold ideology.

Came across this project [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold some few months ago when I promoted them through signature campaign, it looks legit although this is a stable coin and not the typical cryptocurrency that gives profits. This can be used as example of gold backed coins.
6114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 15, 2019, 06:34:26 AM
So, Chelsea lost, again. Only one win in their last 5 games...Get ready to see Chelsea spending a lot of money in the next transfer window  Grin

Just hope the spending will be done wisely mostly on defenders, we saw the importance of a strong defence in yesterday game. Rudiger was brilliant although the lost overshadowed his performance. Saw some rumor about Lampard wanting to buy Wilfried zaha in the next transfer window, this to me will be a poor utilization of the fund since we already have Williams and both don't have goals to their performance just ball control.

The inexperience and lact of effective conversation of our chances is becoming a problem resulting to our back to back losses. Lampard inexperience is becoming more visible as he looks confused.
6115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you learn as a gambler? on: December 15, 2019, 05:55:08 AM
You probably heard the negative sides of gambling, some people who dont gamble has this bad impression towards it and we cant blame them for thinking that way because of the bad affect of gambling to a person who dont have control and let himself became addicted.

A negative review will always be associated with gambling since most gambling are going to end up lossing more than they can earn. People review badly when they're affected. That those negative review are present doesn't automatically make gambling bad especially when you don't over do it and can have control over your decision making by not getting addicted. Those trying to invest into educating themselves and acquiring the required knowledge plus luck been on their side can make gambling a professionally source of their income and might be successful.

My lesson so far has revolved around been able to control my emotions and not letting my greed make a fool out of me. Supposedly I was to give an advice to those trying to profit from the industry it'll be the same, (control your emotions).
6116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 15, 2019, 05:18:44 AM
We all know that being an addicted gambler is a very tough spot in our life, but what if you need to decide what to choose, your addiction or you family? i.e., the given situation will be that you need to decide on the spot if you want to pursue your "career" in gambling or make a good simple life with your family? what will you choose?

In Don's voice (Main character in fast and furious), "Family is everything". So definitely my obvious and instant answer would be family. The love I have for my family both extended and immediate can't be compared to anything else. The idea of choosing between family and gamble has become a house hold discussion although I don't buy into that idea. You can be a professional gambler but still have time for your family.

I hate the idea of choosing between two things one love so I would always make out a way to enjoy both options i.e to make out time for gambling (professionally) and spending quality time with my family.
6117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s IEOs keep Dumping, but why? on: December 14, 2019, 10:42:29 PM
Binance is facing yet another criticism as one of their IEO tokens has seen a huge dump once again. Matic, which was put on Binance launchpad, Binance’s version of an IEO, fell 60% in just minutes.
On a general note, IEOs were just ticking time bombs like their counterparts ICOs. We all knew, the chances of then declining in price were present due to the market conditions of altcoins although our greed always get the better of us. The issue involving the coin in your OP goes beyond just mere IEO dumping.

Matic price decline has a lot to do with FUD and price manipulation, as from the rate at which the decline occured, it's abnormal and most have been a professional dump organized by some users with privileges
6118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is a better alternative to Bitcoin and why not use it? on: December 14, 2019, 10:28:05 PM
DigiByte!

I'm not hyping this one. And I love Bitcoin (actually i have stacks of it). I am on the verge of looking something useful. Creating a FUD or Hyping does not help me grow my knowledge.

You opened your thread positively although you should understand bitcoin isn't like your average cryptocurrency, it has been tested over time and has proven itself to be very reliable, dependable and profitable. Concerning your title, judging from the current type of coins in the space, i don't think there's any alternative to bitcoin that can complete and probably replace it in regards to it been used.

The coin you're highlighting isn't worthy of been categories as an alternative, we have coins like Litecoin that is very similar to bitcoin but still can't be classified as an alternative due to it's inferiority to bitcoin.
6119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May Altcoin have chance to rally even if Bitcoin dominance is below 70%? on: December 14, 2019, 10:15:39 PM
If Bitcoin Dominance is Below 70%, And Altcoin is back to a sideway trend did you think that the Altcoin may have a chance if not reclaim the number 1 slot which is not gonna happen, but in just having a fighting chance in the market of cryptocurrency to still increase in value in spite the value of Bitcoin not going any where what can you guys say about this?

Altcoins has never achieved the number 1 slot so your statement is kind of confusing. Also no cryptocurrency currently existing is worthy of overthrowing bitcoin in market capitalization so irrespective of the bitcoin dominance declining, it would never result to altcoins reclaiming the number one slot.

Currently the altcoin market has been on the decline lately so irrespective of the movement of bitcoin dominance it might not be very positive to the altcoin market in generally although few selective ones might benefit.
6120  Other / Meta / Re: Who are owners of this forum? (Bounty Manager or Users?) on: December 12, 2019, 08:44:11 AM
Is the OP still confused? I think i should just drop my opinion although it won't be different from what most well reputed users on the forum have said but it might add some additional thoughts, first the OP should understand the bounty campaign aren't regulated by the forum so they're a body of their own but since they're been hosted on the forum, they're obligated to follow the guidelines of the forum's unofficially rules and regulations, that's why most of their campaign rules is drafted out of that of the forum. (e.g no spamming etc)

That a campaign doesn't accept alts doesn't automatically mean you can't have alt on the forum although since they (campaign) have stated clearly you won't get paid when you're caught that's the punishment you will get. And in the scenario of recieving red tagged, it's due to the fact your actions can be deem untrustworthy on the forum since you were willing to cheat a member of the forum (the BM). If you observe most bounty managers don't tagged bounty cheaters but definitely they won't pay them since that repercussion was already indicated on their campaign rules.

PS: Your freedom ends where the BM freedom begins, you have freedom to have alts but the BM has freedom not to accept your alts into his campaign and when you try to cheat your way in by denying the BM he's right, you get the consequence of your actions
