OK, I have created signed Ethereum message and sent it to Cyrus as you advised. Thank you all!

I believe a signed message from a BTC address was advised.  I'm not so sure ETH sig will be accepted.

6103  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a leading currency? on: May 06, 2017, 02:49:07 AM
@OP congratulations, ...

Bitcoin doesn't have inflation, it's like a glass of water, if you fill it with liquid gold then does it still hold the same value as the water?

Reminds me of this...

So it's more like a glass of liquid gold then?  You lost me.
Would it be possible to illustrate this some other way?  I would like to understand.

I want to point out that the electricity cost in my country is maybe the lowest in the world around (0,001055$ per Kw/h)
I know it sounds ridiculous but its true. So I want your opinion about investing in this computer and if is profitable during the time.
I think I can invest around 9000$ to purchase the computers and all the equipment that is needed to put them to work, can you give me any advise or your opinion about this project?

How fuckin' weird is that?!  There are also 0,001055 Mega joules in a British Thermal Unit!  What are the odds?
So what utopian country is this?  Was there previously a capital city called Shangdu?

the country is venezuela, we have the cheapest kw/h in the world hehehe.
the Kw/h cost 4.22 Bsf
the exchange rate is 4907,63 per dollar (today)
do the maths.

Okay.  I thought maybe you were in Mongolia and I've only had bad experience with Mongolia.
So I can't verify your claim of 4901,63 BsF per dollar anywhere.  If I use Xe.com it shows the exchange rate for VEF (Bolivar fuerte) to be ~0.1 per USD but I know that Venezuela is in turmoil at the moment so anything is possible.  Can you point me to a more reliable site for exchange?

the think is that we are one of the only country in the world that the rate exchange is decided by the government, no-one can buy dollar in the banks, so you can only get dollar by the black market.

the "legal" price for a dollar in my country is 750 bsf per dollar

http://www.simadi.today (here you can see the price)

the price in the black market is 4989 (today, because is always changing) bsf per dollar

https://twitter.com/dolartoday?lang=es (here you can see the price)

Thanks for the links - now I understand the differing exchange rates.  So, if you exchange your USD (assuming you have some) on the black market, you get nearly-free electricity.
There is still a long period of mining before you will break even on the cost of the Bitcoin miners (if you can obtain them), you might not even have an infrastructure to supply electricity in Venezuela for that long from what the news reports say and as far as I know, rationing of electricity began a year ago in Venezuela.  How many kWh are you allowed each month?
I don't think this is something you should pursue.  Save your USD and maybe buy a couple of Bitcoins - both would be stores of wealth against a hyperinflationary currency but the USD has less volatility than Bitcoin and with Bitcoin flirting with all-time highs, it may not be perfect time to invest.

6108  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The pursuit of money has negative psychological consequences on: May 02, 2017, 06:38:26 PM
Prostitution is generally a very relative concept. Every woman wants to have a rich husband and live in abundance. What is this not prostitution? Everyone needs money. I believe that any earnings is acceptable if does not harm others. Anyone who earns € 10,000 in the industry are poisoning nature and does more harm than a prostitute, but respect him.

When a man provides a family, this is not considered prostitution. A wife can feed him in return, take care of the house and children.
Prostitution is the same. Just you covertly, told about the same. There is a trade, and there is a natural exchange. If in a poor country prostitutes will take the service of food, what would you call it prostitution or a civil marriage?

Civil marriage for me is the same hidden prostitution. A normal family in which a man is engaged in providing and protecting the natural function of the male is different from the consumer attitude.
Even the official family is the same. A man can get sex from a prostitute and pay her money for it, and she already buys all that she needs. In marriage, the wife tells you what to buy you bring and you get sex. What's the difference?

I guess the difference would be that both man and "wife" are working in your prostitution scenario whereas in your official version of family the woman isn't working.  Also, prostitutes are generally not interested in having children.

6109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can multiple bitcoin addresses on the same wallet be linked? on: May 01, 2017, 06:36:28 PM
As in, traced back to the same user. Assuming you only had the BTC addresses and no other information.

Given an address, we can look up whether it was involved in a transaction or not.  If it was involved in a transaction, then it likely links to a change address on the same wallet.  If you allow the wallet to control spending, then that change address will be used in a subsequent transaction which would link at least those two transactions to the same wallet.  Continuing in this pattern, eventually every transaction could potentially link back to your wallet.

Of course they're food!  They are no doubt healthy because they are so fresh.  I used to pick fiddleheads with my grandfather in the spring.  We would also go looking for wild asparagus and giant puffball mushrooms.  The puffballs were my favourite because we would slice them and fry them in butter.  If you were lucky enough to catch a spring smelt run as well, you were in for a gourmet meal!

I also tried them and I can say that they are quite edible. Of course, you can not eat one grass, but you can eat for a change.

Not only are they edible, they are delicious and nutritious.  There is no comparison to grass other than the green colour.

6112  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone to post a thread on: April 30, 2017, 06:15:14 PM
This guy is posting from a full member account looking for a higher-ranked account to post a thread for him...and all you low-ranked members want to gargle his sausage like it was your last effing meal.  What is it about this forum that attracts illiterate bottom feeders?

OP, give more details or retract this offer.  No one here knows what exactly you want or what your requirements are, though you've piqued the curiosity of many.

Everything apart but does making useless posts like you made one helps at all ? I don't think so.
Using two accounts, HUGEBLACKWOMAN .. is yours as proved, for God's sake oncecheck it's post quality. Its like a 5 year old kid is talking seriously insane. Its like A thief tell others not to try it.

The Pharmacist made a good point; maybe you didn't understand it?  He doesn't always use the Queen's English but that's what makes his posts infomative and entertaining.  OP made a post asking someone else to make a post with absolutely no useful information... In a perfect forum, it would have been deleted.

6113  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The pursuit of money has negative psychological consequences on: April 30, 2017, 05:43:54 PM
Your topic is misleading.  The article claims that staking one's self-worth on the pursuit of money makes one more vulnerable to negative psychological consequences.  Most everyone must pursue money to survive in this world and the pursuit of money alone is not the concern.

I remembered reading that Ruja Ignatova was supposedly on the cover of the Bulgarian version of Forbes magazine but that it turned out to be false.  She was actually depicted as being on the cover in a paid advertisement inside the magazine.  Apparently she has done this same deception at least twice:

6116  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Brainwallet from my own poem on: April 30, 2017, 01:37:29 AM
Let us see this poem you speak of!  We can then tell you if it will be secure enough. Roll Eyes

Seriously, Brainwallet is not a bad idea per se but the way people were using it left their addresses open to easy hacking.  I've seen a newer version that forces you to include a salt to make your phrase more secure.  If your poem is unique and unpublished then should easily secure your Bitcoin address with or without salt.

It's not going to be much of a safe thing to do just eating wild plants that you don't know. It's better to be safe than sorry. Buy vegetables that are safe and maybe from the supermarket or something.

Then I guess we should note that Rhubarb leaves are poisonous and should not be eaten.  Eating large amounts of raw or cooked leaves causes difficulty breathing, burning of mouth and throat. Symptoms set in within an hour of eating the leaves and lead to convulsions, internal bleeding, coma, and death.

Many people eat cherries and potatoes from the supermarket but they don't realize that cherry pips are poisonous as are potatoes when they begin to turn green.

I've never tried fiddleheads but they grow nearby. I have to pick some and try it out as a side dish.

What I did try is dock. My mom used to make a tasty soup with its leaves.

I also loved cakes with rheum. You should try it, tastes a bit like lemon.

I've never tried dock but we had some rhubarb (rheum) growing in the yard which we used exclusively for cakes and pies (not the yard BADecker but the rhubarb).  Rhubarb pie is delicious.
