6101  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: May 26, 2016, 12:45:39 AM
I would pick the bitcoin without any doubts because the fact is that they have a pretty good future if you ask me.

If it is about future gold did it and is still doing it. I bet you would choose gold if it will be shown to you physically.  We just say it because we are here but when it is in front of us. That is a different story.
6102  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: May 25, 2016, 02:06:37 PM
Currecy that depend on fiat anyway can't replace it, and bitcoin also can't become fiat currency, cause in many countries it's still illegal for using.

I think fiat will always be fiat, like we know it today. I don't think much will change about it. I just don't think bitcoin can replace fiat. The only way this would happen is if all the governments worldwide would adapt to it. Which I doubt that they would.

Governments will never support bitcoin, they will support only their local currency they don't want to loose their control on the money and they will never allow bitcoin to be a primary currency.

I fully agree, but never the less I think BTC will be as common as fiat one day

Looking forward to seeing that time too. There have been to many coins out there but I think BTC will still stand out as the best one and trusted all over cryptocurrency.
6103  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: May 25, 2016, 01:54:17 PM
The thing i like the most about the bitcoin is off course the unstable price of it. There will always be one day  that the price of the coin is that big and then im going to sell my coins and invest in new ones when the price go low.

Grin The basic of bitcoin. True that is good profit for some of us. But it takes a lot of time. Patience is needed in that kind of trade. That is why I chose the other side and try to make it faster for I have no longer patience like yours.
6104  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 25, 2016, 01:51:49 PM
Quitting my job for the bitcoin is a whole sacrifice and I will never do this because I also have a family that I have to feed and because of that its not worth it in my eyes.

so you think that bitcoin could not make a living for your family? there are a lot of some of my friends have a family and children, but they have gone full time for bitcoin, yes because they can get greater results from their previous work. they can get 1-5 BT /month

Its not possible for everyone to earn that amount in bitcoin per month, and to be honest my salary in fiat is more then 5 btc, then why should I quit my job.

There are certain skills that are required to earn at least an average amount when doing this kind of thing. Unless you are good at those then it will really be hard to make a living through this kind of thing.
6105  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: May 25, 2016, 07:40:04 AM
I can't use my bitcoins actively cause i am wating for halving, better to keep myself far from bitcoins till halving come. Or it will be wasted on useless things.

Just dont forget your password.  Grin If that is the way of you keeping it then that is good. We are expecting for a rise, but many of us are profiting in trading altcoins. Better learn that also because there in only takes a little time to make some bitcoin.
6106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: May 25, 2016, 07:37:52 AM
I see a lot of answers bitcoin can live with itself.

I dont really know much about that because I am still not knowledgeable regarding altcoins. But I know that it all started with bitcoin.
of course all Startlingly on bitcoin. bitcoin is the originator or cryptocurrency first created and with bitcoin phenomenon that began to be popular then lots of smart people who wants to follow bitcoin and create a new cryptocurrency. but bitcoin first born and famous. bitcoin will survive even stand alone as when you first start

That is what I think also. It can stand alone. Unlike altcoin where they need bitcoin as a standard currency which is know. I think the true question is will altcoins live without bitcoin.
6107  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: May 25, 2016, 07:35:06 AM
Who will reign over United States of America? China? Yes that is possible but that wont happen without a fight. I guess I will think more about the state of the world after that before thinking of the US dollar crashing.
6108  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: May 25, 2016, 07:32:40 AM
I would pick of course Bitcoin and that is because Bitcoin will also longer exist than Gold and that is the problem of gold that you cant spend it online and that is bad.
But people have to know that the value of Bitcoin is also really hard to predict for what will happen.

Gold have existed so long we are not even alive when it was discovered. That wont take out its value just like that. It will exist still longer that bitcoin for human always look for something to touch. And they see that in gold.
6109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: May 25, 2016, 06:40:51 AM
I also do not know why people are stopping with Bitcoin. Maybe did expected something else from Bitcoin or thought that making money with it would be allot faster then they expected.
you will not know until you try Lol there are many reasons why people get out of bitcoin. clear them out for sure there is a problem that follow them.
like my friend who out of bitcoin. because they were deceived from Ponzi site and spend all their bitcoin

Yes that is one reason why others stopped. But I think the wrong thing about that is thinking it is the ponzi fault. They shouldve analyzed it and see to it that it is their own fault and it is a risk that they decided.
6110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: May 25, 2016, 06:38:34 AM
bitcoin for in terms of fast transaction. but paypal in terms of security  Wink

Security or the fact that they have been there for a lot of years. I guess that is trust that they planted to the people and now still growing as years go by. Bitcoin is young there are many things that could happen.
6111  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: May 25, 2016, 06:36:28 AM
Bitcoin can be used in many countries. It is accepted by various international companies. I bought things with it.

Very right. It is almost global except for those who cant be reached by internet companies which will not allow them to see it. But if they have a connection then someone with a good intellect could share this to them and Boom with got a new bitcoin user.
6112  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 25, 2016, 06:32:40 AM
Doing both will be the best thing that you can do and that is because there are still a lot of people that is holding now because it can be more worth later and that is nice.
But saving money is just for backup if you are losing a lot of money with investing but that wont happen so fast.

I agree with you, doing both saving and investing would benefit you and this is the best thing to do in case of your decision.
Once you have savings you can use it to back up your investment.

If you can do both yes it will be good. But people tend to risk more or gamble more than saving it. Thinking "what ifs" when they saw the profit from investing it. So the savings will be also risked for the investment.
6113  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: May 24, 2016, 03:34:40 PM
I do not know the exact reason and I am sure that there are multiple reason because of this. The main thing I can think about is when the price is stable then people say it is dead I agree because then there is just not many to do on Bitcoin.

You got it right. Bulls eye. That is what I dont want to happen also. If it gets stable then profit from traders and investors will get stucked up too. We dont want that to happen or we will lose a lot of users.
6114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the best future currency? on: May 24, 2016, 03:31:39 PM
I think its' the best futute currency cause of fresh style and also good advatages like free transaction all over the world and many many others.

Fresh style. Yes that is the best word for it. New option. A thing that should be tried and will be sucked on how it works. It is really a good transaction way for new technology.
6115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: May 24, 2016, 02:02:33 PM
i prefer to use the paypal paying method thats because of the problems with the bitcoin paying method. I was buying something with the bitcoin paying method and he stoped working mean while my coins where gone and i didn't received anything.

I think something just might happened with that. Have you tried doing something about it? That is a disappointment but still there must be an explanation why that happened. It just dont happen just like that.
6116  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 24, 2016, 02:01:03 PM
Quitting my job for the bitcoin is a whole sacrifice and I will never do this because I also have a family that I have to feed and because of that its not worth it in my eyes.

Agreed, day time job is better at this stage in compare to bitcoin, as we can never expect stable income from bitcoin, but day job offers you financial security.

That's the reality that day time job is way better than having a bitcoin job since bitcoin doesn't give an assurance that you could get a well
compensated job rather than the company that you are working with you day job.
It is still depends on the value of bitcoins you are holding, if we are talking of millions equivalent of bitcoins then you can have a good income doing day trade earning at least 5% a day. However, in contradiction you need to keep your job if it is worth than your bitcoin portfolio today.

The thing is if the bitcoins downfall happened (just for an example), and you are a full time bitcoiner. And you are trying to apply again
for a daily job, I think your bitcoin portfolio or bitcoin experience won't be considerable by the employer since it is digital and there is no paper
reference that can certify it.

That's true and if you have descent gap in your professional job then no employer will entertain you and at that stage it would be difficult to find good job.
So you are saying that before we go focus on bitcoins we need to have a stable job first and experience for a long period of time so that our career will be our first learning and then we focus on bitcoins. Am i right?

The fact is that you can focus on bitcoin in your extra time, you don't need to leave your job for bitcoin, what will you do in future if bitcoin simply disappears?

This is the best thing to do, you don't have to sacrifice your daily job for bitcoin, or your bitcoin job for your daily job.
You just need to manage it properly your time.

Same with me. Actually that is what happening now. I dont need to give up any one of this. Do it at the same time. If you have 8 hours or 9 at work. You still got a lot of spare time to do bitcoin.
6117  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: May 24, 2016, 01:47:31 PM
I dont want to spent my bitcoins because there are allot of people who do and i dont feel that i need to do it. If others spent them i dont need to just waiting for a increasing moment and dont know if im going to sell them on that point maybe in about 20 years.
it was nice to not spend your bitcoin for something that is not important. but I prefer to spend it in a way to exchange it for fiat and save money in the bank. when the high price I would take the opportunity to sell, but if the price is low I will continue to hold for the next few years

I will use it when the price is high. That is the same as selling it but not sell directly. So it will help the usage.

Yeah I think holding it will be good to hold our coins for some time at least till the halving  and its better not to spend our coins till we see the higher price.
because most bitcoin users are an investor or a trader to obtain and collect bitcoin for profit. This makes only a few people who choose to spend their bitcoin. This is reasonable because most of the time of initial adoption is due to the high price of bitcoin. I'm sure a lot of people it is a trader

Trading is a good way to multiply your coins, and everyone wants to try their luck on it to earn some extra profits over a period of time and is quiet reasonable.

True but knowledge in trading is the hard part. To what coin will you trade it (if you are in altcoin) you  would need some knowledge if that coin will really grow its price.
6118  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: May 24, 2016, 01:46:20 PM
I buy when price is lower and sell when its higher, so price really matters for me and I am sure everyone is doing the same, price matters to everyone.

Yeah that's right, nothing will circulate in the market if there is no price or value of bitcoin. And if bitcoin doesn't have value it will just be totally
dumped.

Just like the altcoins that are created for just a scam opportunity. There are a lot out there with a good price then go back to the lowest it can be. Next is what would you know it is all forgotten.
6119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: May 24, 2016, 01:44:23 PM
As the title say, what is the proper way to teach someone about what is Bitcoin?

I would say videos mostly.

videos can definitely help them in knowing bitcoin but you also need to show them how they can earn money from it and it will surely motivate them.
yes, video is good way to explain about bitcoin, people should understand if they watch bitcoin with video tutorial, but the problem is how we can teach them to use it directly for payment??
Absolutely I think the video is still very difficult to become clear to someone about bitcoin because if they do not understand is not necessarily that he does not understand in the video. But if they could ask direct teach and can run bitcoin very clear.

A teacher put a video in front of the class. Do you think the students will learn? True. Videos are not that helpful if no one can really explain thoroughly. I would still suggest a proper guidance. That would take out the risk also of this person joining in some scam groups.
6120  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: May 24, 2016, 08:42:56 AM
Prices always matter. people always refer that currency which has a market value, if price doesn't matter so why people use the bitcoin. you and me and the other people are using the bitcoin because now bitcoin is a highest price than other coins. most of the coin i mean crypto currencies are here, but mostly people are not usning it because they want to use the highest price currency and that is bitcoins.
I saw someone save their bitcoins and wait for the increasing price and when price increased than they sell their bitcoins, we can call it is an good  investment.

True that it is a good investment. So better not lose any time then start buying for now. I can see more of a rise in the upcoming days or weeks and it is a really high price now what more it can do on the weeks to come.
