I looked at your post history, and in most posts you're just advertising your services - it's not likely that you will get merit for such posts.
Similar questions about merits were asked so many times. And there is many guides made by Bitcointalk users where they are explaining how to get merits. Just don't be lazy and do some homework - you'll easily can find these threads. Shortly - you should participate in discussions, don't repeat what was already said, post interesting and useful information, be helpful and etc...
6102  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BitcoinTalk's 2019 Premier League and Champions League Pool Sign Up Thread on: August 05, 2019, 08:47:04 PM
@hilariousandco, Maybe it's time to start collecting money? EPL season starts this Friday, so, not much time left. And it's sad that we didn't reached 30 players like last year. But there is still some time left and I hope that 1-2 people still can sign up...

I don't agree with you. There was time when I was able to get more than my monthly wage just from faucets, I can't call it as bad thing. And about historical context - you forget how many people got introduce to Bitcoin and crypto world exactly through faucets.

No one's doubting that values may rise in future, though obviously it's a finite number that's going to become vastly more sluggish, but instead of spending ten hours to make a few bucks you can make more selling one old game or broken phone on Ebay and putting that into buying BTC.

You could've spent ten hours mowing lawns and sold a knackered phone and wound up with 10x more BTC for the same amount of time expended and probably less grind. The same has applied at any point.
Actually, most of BTC that I got from faucets were received as referral cimmission, so, I didn't had to spend lot of time. I agree with your point about waiting long time until value will increase, but I didn't had to wait - these BTC from faucets were more than my monthly wage at the moment when I received it.
6104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Gambling and e-sports? on: August 05, 2019, 09:14:45 AM
Betting on e-sports events is already quite big thing. Now it still can't be compared with traditional sports, but seing how fast e-sports industry is growing, soon they may reach or even overcome traditional sports.
But personally, I've never tried to bet on e-sports - I know nothing about it and I'm not interested. I just feel strange when I'm watching how other people playing computer games. Maybe I'm just too old for it.

• Junior Firpo (Real Betis) to Barcelona FC done deal: https://twitter.com/FCBarcelona_es/status/1157970540939886593 He's literally the perfect replacement for Jordi Alba. Even if he flops, 18M is nothing considering the state of the market.
I'm little surprised that Barca bought Firpo after his old tweets where he insulted Messi were revealed. But yeah, it's good transfer considering it's price

@coinlocket$, I think it's safe to safe that Lewis already won tittle - it's clear for long time already. And I don't agree with you about Bottas - it's nonsense to call him bad driver.

For me, he is only a normal driver nothing more else.

For sure is no easy to run with Hamilton but Bottas is falling often when Hamilton got some issues.

When you have the best car on the game and you are behind Verstappen prove that you are not so good, IMHO.

I like other drivers like LeClerc and Norris more than Bottas.

He did some great race on the past but hey what a car he has.
But Bottas constantly brings result that Mercedes needs and he is still 2nd in drivers championship. Being front wing of Hamilton, he is doing his job fine. Yeah, he was behind Verstappen several times this year, but I think we can call Max as the most talented driver on the grid.
And you should remember how many times other talented lads like Vettel or Lecler made mistakes this year, but you don't call them as bad drivers.
BTW, Toto Wolf said that they are choosing between Bottas and Occon, who will be their driver next season. So, few upcoming races is probably crucial for Bottas

I agree about faucets. In past it was great thing and it was possible to get decent earnings from faucets, but now things had changed and faucets become waste of time in general.
But things that you're suggesting - giveaways, aidrops and etc, isn't much better than faucets. It's still waste of time and you will earn only peanuts from it. It's definitely not the best way to start without investing.
Faucets are a bad deal, no matter how you look at them, and they were bad even in historical context.
I don't agree with you. There was time when I was able to get more than my monthly wage just from faucets, I can't call it as bad thing. And about historical context - you forget how many people got introduce to Bitcoin and crypto world exactly through faucets.

It was really interesting race. Mercedes choose risky strategy for Hamilton to change tyres to medium, but it worked perfectly today. Though I think that Lewis woulds have overtaken Max even on hard tyres. As we saw Max had dead tyres in last laps, while Lewis had 6 laps newer hard tyres than Max. And I can't understand why Mercedes waited so long to pit Bottas when he had broken front wing.
@coinlocket$, I think it's safe to safe that Lewis already won tittle - it's clear for long time already. And I don't agree with you about Bottas - it's nonsense to call him bad driver.
6109  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Forum is Numero Uno 👑 on: August 03, 2019, 10:33:28 PM
Interesting stats. Number of total users probably doesn't shows how big and active forum is. Bitcointalk have 94% dominace against 2 other compared forums, but as we know, Bitcointalk have insane number of Brand New users who haven't made even single post. In other forums number of such users isn't big probably. It would be interesting to see how these % would change after excluding Brand New users. Number of total post is most intereting and as we see, Bitcointalk don't have such huge dominance there. So, considering not big number of total users, we can say that other 2 forums are very active.
6110  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Brave, the so called "privacy" browser now requires KYC! on: August 03, 2019, 09:52:19 PM
lol I think crypto-related projects are evolving backward. Even google-chrome doesn't require you to do any KYC or that sort of thing to use the browser.
Why Chrome would need KYC when Google already knows everything about us. If you're using Google products, cookies settings won't help you to hide from being spied. Google knows where you been yesterday or month ago, what are your interests and etc. It's much bigger thing thsn all these KYC.
6111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 03, 2019, 04:23:39 PM
Would anyone want to include next years Formula-E in this thread?
Yeah, I know some people think electric racing is not real racing.

Since I'm a New Yorker, I saw last years and this years race in Brooklyn. Really enjoyed it.

-Dave
This thread is for all racing series, not just F1 or MotoGP.
I saw few races of Formula E and it left me strange impression. They do races at very narrow street circuits and it means there are lot of crashes every race. And all cars are identical, so driver skills is most important here. But what I don't like is sound of these cars - they sounds like vacuum cleaners and this noise is a bit annoying. Damn, I miss sound of V12 engines in F1...
Pole position for Verstappen.

Mercedes 2nd and 3rd, this will be a super boring race if the rain will not coming, here is almost impossible to overtake.

They should delete this race from the schedule.
Why you're so sceptical? Yes, this track isn't best for overtaking, but few last races here was really interesting. There are some worse and more boring race circuits in F1, like Sochi, France, Monaco...
6112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: August 02, 2019, 08:28:53 PM
I have no doubts that Hazard will become great addition to Real Madrid, but he obviously need some time. And from what I saw, I got impression that he need to loose some weight.
In other news, Barca sold Malcom to Zenit. I'm a bit sad, because I see big potential in him, but unfortunately he don't have future in Barcelona. Probably it was bad decision for Malcom to choose Barca instead of Roma.
6113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Champions Cup 2019 - Discussion thread on: August 02, 2019, 07:13:32 PM
Does anyone else think that all these friendly tournaments In Asia or USA are just a waste of time and a money making machine? Elite clubs have forgotten how a real pre-season preparation should look like. It should be about going to a remote resort high up in the mountains, training in a nice climate and getting in shape for the new season.

What they are doing now is promoting their brands internationally, flying around the States and Asia getting jet legged, constantly tired from the travels, playing in hot and humid conditions.
I agree with you, but this is reality of modern football, it's just a game, but also huge business. Clubs earn a lot from playing these matches, they also promoting their brand in new markets. Last year there was plans to held even some official La Liga matches in USA, but fans were against it and it this idea didn't turned into reality. But I think these pre-season tournaments are also good because fans from Asia, States can see their favourite club playing in their country - not everyone can travel to Europe just to watch football.
6114  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Brave, the so called "privacy" browser now requires KYC! on: August 01, 2019, 08:40:47 PM
I think topic title is a bit clickbait. Regular users of Brave browser aren't required to pass KYC. Only publishers will have to that. Still, browser which focus on privacy and KYC is strange. And I suppose that one day they may ask their regular users to pass KYC... I haven't used Brave browser, but I believed that's very promising project with great future. Now I have mixed feelings about it.
6115  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC and European banks on: August 01, 2019, 08:00:17 PM
Yeah, such amount isn't big enough and your friend can be calm. But as said above, some banks don't accept SEPA transfers from/to major crypto exchanges. I think that your friend should Google for information about bank's policy before trying to make transfer. Or you simply can ask here, maybe people will share their personal expetience with specific bank.
6116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Liverpool VS Man. City, 2019 England Community Shield, By a Fan of SEER on: August 01, 2019, 07:33:51 PM
Community Shield isn't considered as important trophy, but it's not some kind of friendly game and finally we will see serious football. Such match between 2 best EPL teams is best way to start new season. Seems that bookmakers are favoring City to win, but I think there is no favorite in this game. Especially because it's first official game in this season and it's difficult to tell which teams had prepared for it better.
@LFC_Bitcoin, enjoy the game!
6117  Other / Off-topic / Re: 💛 Emoji: we make a topic on the Bitcointalk beautiful🐞 on: August 01, 2019, 04:47:58 PM
Personally Idon't use emojis much when I chat with friends or posting on social media, so, I'm not going to use it often on Bitcointalk. Maybe I' a bit old fashionated for it. But I don't mind to see other people using it. Just don't overuse it - post with emojis wouldn't look serious. Some people may be annoyed to see it and they can put you on ignore Cheesy.
6118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: August 01, 2019, 04:07:46 PM
I have a few questions. I lost a Bitcointalk account to a hacker a while ago. People have suggested I sign a message from an old address to prove ownership, however, I'm wondering if giving away the signature will compromise my wallet's security.

What do I do after I've signed the message? Do I give away the signature, address, and message, then?
No, it won't compromise your wallet's security. Signed message just will confirm that you have control of that address. Just don't share your private key.
You can read more about recovery of hacked accounts here if you haven't saw it yet:

6119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 01, 2019, 04:02:19 PM
Crusaders F.C. played very bad against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the last match, and I do not think Crusaders F.C. would have any chances to progress to the next stage even with the support of their home fans today. But I guess Wolverhampton Wanderers might field a much more defensive formation today as Crusaders F.C. would have to attack aggressively right from the start of the match in order to score goals, and this would allow Wolverhampton Wanderers to launch a counterattack when the players of Crusaders F.C. mess up their defense.
I think that Crusaders will park the bus again. I hardly imagine amateur team can play against solid EPL team. Such tactics would mean that they will concede 5-6 goals. I doubt that Crusaders are thinking about next round, they will probably focus on how to concede not many goals.

@buwaytress, Astana won 4-1, but looking at stats, seems it was difficult match. It strange to see team which playing in Europa league group stage almost every season struggling against team from Andorra.
Imade lot of bets today, I'm looking for Zorya, Torino, Apollon, Luzern, Sturm Graz and Utrecht wins. Ihope there won't be many unexpected results Cheesy

EDIT. So, there are some surprising results again - Riga FC kicked out Polish champions Piast, Pyunik Yerevan eliminated Jablonec, Utrecht got eliminated Zrinjski.
Eintracht had another difficult match against Flora, but managed to win.

If you want to buy something with PayPal, you're in wrong place. It's Bitcoin forum and deals are made here using cryptocurrencies.
Escrow simply can't take such risk. PayPal is reversible payment method and you're new member here without any reputation. It's two red flags that you may make chargeback, PayPal is often used by scammers on marketplaces.
I suggest you to aquire some BTC and contact escrow providers then if you want to buy something here.
