The more I listen to the comments about Ethereum and Vitalik from the known people of bitcoin like Peter Todd and others, the more I am pessimistic about its future. Last year no one would dare think that Vitalik is a scammer. Now some have been slowly thinking that he is a dreamer or a con artist. Take your pick.

I really do not understand why you guys are expecting a 10000 dollars per coin,don't you think it is greedy prediction to say the least.For the sake of argument lets say the price of bitcoin will touch 10k how would you be able to deal with fiat if the prices soars to those levels and who is going to spend money to get those coins,have some realistic value even with wild predictions. At least the price of bitcoin will be stabilizing on $1000 and that's better than being a bubble. Some were giving unrealistic wishes. That's a troll. From what I can see, the price margin between btc-e and bitfinex for BTC/USD as of right now is 49 USD.
Is it feasible to buy BTC from btc-e, and sell on bitfinex? Or do the fees completely kill the profit?
Has anyone tried something like this?
I've tried it but not for the bitcoin trade. Mostly just alt trade and it's useful for me. But the risk is so high. BTCe and bitfinex are the biggest bitcoin exchange sites in the foreign. that will automatically mean the volatility is so high and it will give high risk for you. |

The price of BTC is more than 20 times higher than the price of ZEC. 2. ZEC is new and unstable, so the price of it might drop even more in the near future. Anytime bitcoin mine still profitable. even compare with ZEC. Let say if bitcoin can guarantee his price. and everytime the supply will be decreasing and it will make the price will increase. economy 101. The mining phase of ZEC still a long. I still mine the ZEC. It is profitable. But for the time being, ETH is more profitable. For miner who are mining ZEC are making some decent money with ZEC but the people who have invested in zec are waiting for their turn, but it will take some time to reach to at least 0.1 btc. miners sell because they have to pay their bills and keep their operation running to make money with other things they are mining. and others are either bag-holding and hoping for a rise to get out or they are trading the ups and downs for profit. nobody is waiting for miracles. I'm planning on getting a fraction of a bitcoin. Maybe about 1/4 or 1/8 BTC just to fill my wallet with something. Is now a good time to do so?
I could say that its not the good time for now to buy a bitcoin due to it will surely goes down a days from now, just hold and wait, that's the only thing we can do for now. And by getting bitcoins the option are; join in the signature campaign and do their rules, or do the the bitcoin faucets, or buy bitcoin if you have enough fund for it. but to me i think it is still good time buy bitcoin, because still there are goo expectation from the price of bitcoin, and hope that this time it is going to cross the all time high price and will reach to 1500 USD even in 2017. therefore i think it is still good to time to invest your money. When the price of a coin(in this case bitcoin) goes down and is still on that phase then itis not recommended to buy because the price can go lower and to be able to get the ROI or profit will take longer, but the risk i this case is higher than when the price is increasing. That's right, the price will still continue about the rapid decrease. It's going back to the previous price. The simple decision are caught some at the middle price. But this is will be risky if the prices were dropping a lot soon. |

That's a very bad news to me, I missed the time to sell but I will just going to have a comeback and will wait for another chance and will try to get that right time of selling. And no, we are around $880 now. Hoping that before the Chinese new year many people are going to buy and will make a big impact to the rapid price increase.Doesn't expect the bitcoin will get rapid increase again. I already sell my bitcoin @$1124. The bubble is already including in my prediction. so you may wait some years later for seeing the yesterday's price again. |

I really dont care bout the price falling down. It will just recover quickly again anyway. We have been through this before and this is a normal for me. Everyone can buy and dump their bitcoin. We cant do anything bout that. We cant stop them to sell their btc.
It will recover but not for over $1000 again. At least it's will be back to the previous price before the bubble was happening. Who the peoples are not selling his bitcoin @$1100++ They will need wait about some years later to see the price will be back over $1000. I don't think if this is an effect by the massive adoption but more likely to call it manipulate the price. |

Iconomi seems like an interesting idea (if im understand it right... and maybe not). If I get it right, I think it's like a cryptocurrency fund.. now I don't get why there are multiple tokens like ICN, ICXN or whatever, can someone explain how that works? is there multiple tokens or only one?
Also, why does it work under ETH and not BTC? How can I trust a token that works under Ethereum? Ethereum seems like a failure to me, ETH doesn't stop collapsing and im not safe with Vitalik and is crazy hardforks.
