Do you even realize that this forum suffers from low quality content for the likes of people like you who milk this forum for every buck and then cry when their accounts get banned or red trusted.

So it is advise able to search necessary information before doing trading on any new exchange .
You are right about this. You cannot trust any new exchange that comes up out of the blue with any team.

Look at nexybit which was following that "trade mining" method like some other Asian exchanges like Fcoin and what happened to them? They sold off their company and told investors to f-- off. They had got a large number of investors who were looking forward to getting dividends from holding their token generated by "trade mining" and now their tokens are worthless.

Its even bad that there is no legal authority to got after their owners because of this and basically they scammed a lot of people.
6103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Margin Trading at Binance on: October 12, 2019, 08:00:06 AM
How is it working for you?
Binance is trying to get into the bandwagon that Bitmex started and now they are providing margin trading options. But it should be well understood that one who does not have any prior knowledge of margin trading should not attempt to do so without practice with dummy coins at their own excel spreadsheet first.

Let me remind you that margin trading and spot trading are different things. In margin you are given a leverage and you a contract not the coin. If your contract of price prediction realizes then you win the money that you put in multiplied by the leverage. But this is just a luck game, its not possible to accurately predict the prices easily and you will have to liquidation fees at every instant to keep your position open and not get liquidated which will waste all your work trying to buy the contract.

It seems that the traders who are now looking at the more stagnant market are looking to more risky methods of money making and marign trading is one of them. Newbies should never attempt it. They will lose money.
6104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Overall winning - Dice on: October 12, 2019, 07:45:08 AM
I don't know if that it is a good mind to consider gambling as a source of income because it is very hard to win the games.
You are not supposed to consider gambling as a method of income. It is a mode of playing and trying your luck with money. People who call themselves professional gambler are fed by the casino owners to promote their casinos. They rarely take risky bets, and mostly live on the money they get from affiliate services, promotions, gathering investors and high rollers.

Quote
I think that is only people with big luck that can win the games. Gambling games can only give entertainment for people who want to spend their money without thinking of the win or lose. I agree that the crypto gambling site becomes popular nowadays, and many people attract to the gambling industry.
They are popular but only to a niche of people not those who prefer the ambience of the land based casinos and visit them for spending some good time with friends
6105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many crypto exchanges are really required? on: October 12, 2019, 07:42:17 AM
No more than two. Binance and one that you use for exchange for fiat
There are a lot of older exchanges which are trusted and even if they have forced KYC on many users still they have a large userbase. What you say is strange because since more than one of them already exist, how can you stop them from existing? People have been using Poloniex, Bitfinex Kraken and also P2P exchanges. Whether Binance itself is trying to get a monopoly is questionable but that is not the topic of discussion here.

Maybe you are using two exchanges for your deals but not everyone is having the same circumstances as you are.
6106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help. Need info on ETH Tokens. on: October 11, 2019, 03:31:48 PM
its icerockmining.io
Ok things change a bit here. IRM did not scam its token holders. But they are currently in a stasis about their location and have stopped mining but admins are looking for a new location.

ROCK2 token holders were getting paid in a ROCK2PAY token which contained ethereum in their contract. If you bought ROCK2 that ethereum address
where you hold ROCK2 would be getting the payout every month in the form of ROCK2PAY and there is a method to redeem ethereum from those tokens. Its very easy to do so and has been explained in the group.

Currently payouts are not happening because mining is stopped.

You should look into their official telegram groups here

https://t.me/icerockmining
https://t.me/Ice_Rock_News

Be careful to not send your token to anyone. We have a lot of impersonators trying to scam others.

The admins are trying to resume mining. You should be able to get some better answers in their group.

At this point I would not suggest investing in them. Its your choice though.
6107  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No Bounty For Newbies .. A new war on: October 11, 2019, 03:19:49 PM
-snip-
Nope.

Signature campaigns are still playing well if you look at the average earning of a senior to hero member of this forum. You are just delusional that everything ends with being paid here. It does not.

You all need to clear your minds and decide what is good for you. If you want to reach a higher rank then you need to earn merits. There is no other way to clear that hurdle. You have to work on it.

And boycott bounties. They are worthless since the days ICOs started except those who sold at pumps and got out. Again I reiterate the fact that this forum is not your workplace and should not be treated like one. Get a job in real life if you are in need of money.
6108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help. Need info on ETH Tokens. on: October 11, 2019, 03:15:59 PM
I want to buy into a project ICO, which offers lifetime payouts to my ETH  adress.
Very likely you are looking at a scam project. I would recommend you to not invest or buy their tokens. It is unlikely that any system can be developed that offering payouts for lifetime unless its a payment of worthless coins. In other words its a scam.

Many ways do the project owners try to lure people into investing into their project but disguise them in a legitimate manner. It would help if you provide us more information on the project.

BTW, is it a cloud mining scheme? Those are definite scams/confidence frauds.
6109  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The very great project free Cryptocurency credit by your wallet history on: October 11, 2019, 11:40:50 AM
The Better is your wallet history the more often and bigger is your Cryptocurency rewards!
Nice method to screen high roller wallet and sell that database to hackers and scammers to potentially gather intelligence and attempt to rob the owners of their coins. The other group that is going to fall for the free money scam will be noobs with zero grey matter to suspect a shittoken being added and false promises given possibly after the collection of data.

We are going to start with bitcoin but more coins will be added.
Oh yeah right, you are going to give away bitcoin for free and that too from your own wallet? Such things dont exist except in dreamland. Grin
Stop smoking that low grade pot from your backyard dealer and clean yourself up.
6110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: October 11, 2019, 08:18:46 AM
A lot of us here love sports and we are betting at the same time.
Love for sports should not be the direct reason for betting though. Emotions tend to make our decisions biased and that makes wrong decisions.

Quote
I am not successful in this kind of venture but I would love to know from people here on what they do in order to win.
First you should know the basic terminology thats sports betting sites use and then choose those games that you are confident about. Meaning those games that you know how its played and not those ones you are playing for the first time. Next do analysis on teams that you know of or of a league that you follow, this will vary with the type of game. Then predict the next match also taking into consideration the other factors in the match like weather, injuries and probable fixing.

Quote
They say that sports betting has no house edge, but why is it it's still hard to win here?
Hose edge and hard to win are not the same thing. Sports is good for those who are knowing the game and have been doing it. For fresh entrants it can be tough, but it needs a lot of dedication and hardwork just like spot trading.
6111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange platform are why ieos have gone quiet on: October 11, 2019, 07:49:10 AM
Yeah i do really think exchange charges are seriously affecting the success of some project, apart from the charge of ieo, they charge high fees for listing as well plus all the conditions attached to listing on their exchange, they are just being exploitative which is affecting the survival of most project in the market, until they decide to cut down their charges, this will continue to happen even good project will be affected.
If the project owners are diligent enough they would not start a project in the form of IEO funding. They would go for the traditional stock market IPO approach which gets listed in a few days without any hassle. Getting listing is like a mafia trade nowadays with exchanges charging huge fees and bounty hunters crying scam if they dont get listed. So in a way the team if forced to list the project on some small cap exchange before moving to a midcap exchange.

The only one laughing hard here is the exchange owners. More and more shady small exchanges are coming up and trying to get their share by offering a lower fee but with zero trade volume. Bounty hunters go on selling their token creating a huge sell wall and nobody to buy them. Its a shitshow in short.
6112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Removal of signature before end of the campaign shouldn't cause disqualification on: October 11, 2019, 07:44:41 AM
It's true, it's not fair for those who work for weeks.
Work for weeks on some shitcoin project? Nah, those guys should know better what t promote and what not to. They are a part of this forum and they need to know the things that go on the forum. Otherwise they are just being selfish.

Quote
But these rules will still apply so that all participants can better support the project to completion. In my opinion, there are a number of campaign managers who give participants to their signature campaigns the opportunity to remove their signatures but must be reported in advance. Without reporting, all bets will also be deleted. I think this is fair enough for participants.
Depends on individual projects as per the decision of the team. Most of the time when the funding for the project is going badly you will see such measures of forcing people to wear signatures. You can get the hint that the project would not be able to reach a good cap and so its better to exit and consider the money you expected to get as lost. Those tokens anyway are worthless so dont waste time on them but develop your own skills and go for bitcoin payment campaigns.
6113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Different type of altcoins have their season which attract scammers be watchful on: October 11, 2019, 07:41:40 AM
I completely agree with you, you need to be careful when choosing a project for investment, but there is always a risk. And unfortunately no one will give you a guarantee that the purchased coins will nevertheless grow in value.
It is not about guarantee but its about a use case. If some project is being developed and the tokens being issued for that projects backing giving the stakeholders some sort of benefits, then the minimum viable product (MVP) must have some sort of a use case and can develop and sustain a market of its own. Look at what amazon and facebook have done. It is more or less a matter of luck here if you are going on into ventures but with bitcoin you can be rest assured for its rise in price for the long term.

Trading in alts which cant be developed or developing something that has already been developed you will only be wasting your time and money unless your goal is to just pump and dump the coins.
6114  Economy / Lending / Re: I don't know what to do anymore on: October 10, 2019, 07:03:36 AM
That's how every credit card has worked that I've came across
Sure, but that not how bitcointalk lending works. If you dont have any collateral to offer and you are a newbie coming with zero trustworthy reputation, no previous trades done then you have exactly zero chance of getting a loan here.

If you are in need of money at this state go for the credit card option. No one is stopping you from doing that. Why even bother posting here?
6115  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITSTAMP frozen my 10 btc and asking years worth of signed address transactions on: October 10, 2019, 06:59:10 AM
No, this is normal for bitstamp, they have been asking similar questions for >5 years now. Other exchanges are catching up with their intrusiveness. It's better to take your time to find a trustworthy person to make an exchange in-person.
I would be extremely uncomfortable with having to deal with a person face to face but its better with a P2P exchange like LBC.

I always feel it to be better if governments would allow trading in crypto and that country people use an exchange where they can verify themselves to buy and sell. As for the OP this is not important but I see your point here. The more the governments try to supress crypto the more AML/KYC problems will arise because of non-compliance from public.
6116  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: An appeal to all my fellow Cryptotalk signature campaign participants! on: October 09, 2019, 10:32:55 AM
OP you write a nice post with good tips. but I also think that any of 211 banned users or users with same post rating will read, understand and accept advice from such a long post. the only thing they understand is the manager's ban hammer but then is too late.
they just won't accept any advice, they just think they make a few bucks. you tried, but I don't think it will have any effect to "critical" users.

As long as the smell of "free money" is there yoshit and its associates will be using this forum to prepare nuptial rites and make it a breeding ground for spammers. Are you not horrified seeing all the negative trusted accounts bustling in to join this campaign for the last 2weeks?

We should actively report any post that comes to our notice which goes offtopic or low quality post. Getting their posts removed would deter their post quota and increase their chances of getting banned. Its actually a good thing if some negged trolls get banned.

They will make new account but the merits system will block them from ranking up too soon.
6117  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITSTAMP frozen my 10 btc and asking years worth of signed address transactions on: October 09, 2019, 10:11:14 AM
Are those coins really from FJ casino or did you hide the details here about tainted source coins that you had be dealing with and used FJ as a "mixing" mode or a transit wallet to cover up your tracks? Most of the newbies posting such threads, I would not trust without having head both sides of the story. Bitstamp has been here for long time and them asking KYC with such strict details does make me wonder what juicy information they have obtained on the coins.

You may try to present a story in your way of describing but this is what I suspect has happened.
6118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bad habits from devs with bounty rewards on: October 09, 2019, 10:03:44 AM
I thought Cryptocmarketads will be honest in dealing with their members I was wrong they even ask people in the bounty campaign about their project, it turned out they cannot be trusted at all, if even I will go back to bounty hunting I will now prefer payment direct to smart contract let us not support project that only misled bounty hunters.
Most projects mislead the hunters, its not like 2017 ICO buzz on the top of the world scenario but a sluggish sector for earning. If you are going to go back to bounties then be sure to get paid with tokens that will be worthless but will seem pretty nice and high rising to you when you first receive them. The projects dont even have any basis of market making and their demand for the product will be low since crypto based ventures never attract that much attention from big investors than the traditional IPO market.

So promoting them is basically a waste of time whether you like it or not.
6119  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange coin 'pooling' on: October 08, 2019, 01:03:55 PM
My coins have always come from localbitcoins, and I've never used the darkweb myself. My concern is that some of the coins I purchase from localbitcoins may have been used by individuals on the darkweb and are now tainted.
So you are concerned about whom? The authorities? If you are not a large-cap trader you wont be under their crosshairs. But it is better to use a mixer in these cases to remove the taint on your coins. However you should note that doing mixing and thinking that your coins are completely off trace is also wrong. With proper blockchain forensics they can be found out about their source.

Now this is a problem with P2P trades done. But a trader with a good score on LBC will probably not be trading in tainted coins. But you never know. There was the incident of escrow.msa and he was jailed for his wrong doings or cloning credit cards.
6120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think Voodoo works in Gambling Games? on: October 08, 2019, 09:19:41 AM
A few months or a year back there was a thread on superstitions and gambling and then there was a fortunetelling and gambling.

I laugh at these threads because I feel amused by the amount of effort these people go on into thinking that gambling outcomes can be known from beforehand. If it was so then casinos would never exist and speculative market trading would not be a risky thing to do. Heck you would even tell every accident that would happen to you and you would never die. Does that sound illogical? Of course it is illogical.

But these people who have lost money have been in such states of mind that even magical thinking makes sense to them.
