6101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: April 03, 2019, 03:40:33 AM
It is really risky to invest a shit coins, few of them will go pump, but most of the shit coins go dump and also scams, better to invest in bitcoin and ethereum, just invest coins that has gained popularity.

Hey I feel one should not be lured by his greed to invest in shit coins, believe me all you’ll get is losses which you’ll regret for a long time. I feel there’re many good coins which one can hold for the long term, rather than invest in shit coins which disappear in few days. I would suggest to only invest in bitcoins, Ethereum, and Ripple for now as these coins have good prospectus going ahead.
6102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ⚠⚠️⚠~Beware on active phishing Electrum websites~⚠⚠️⚠ (Collection list updated) on: April 02, 2019, 05:38:05 PM
People also need to be aware that older versions of Electrum's software has been hijacked by hackers now which will block your attempt to send BTC and fool you on trying to install a "newer" vesrion of Electrum which is also fake as its just a phishing software trying to steal your seeds and private keys. Electrum hacks are almost everywhere as its a popular desktop wallet and I think Electrum should keep up on their monitoring to avoid potential losses from their clients.

Hey this reminds me of the hack which happened in Electrum wallet a while ago, where people were asked to update it from the wallet itself. I feel this thread contains valuable information as large number of people including me use Electrum wallet for storing and transacting bitcoins. Also I feel one should use Electrum app on mobile to be on a safe side, as all issues seem to be on the desktop version so far.

6104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just popped! $4700! on: April 02, 2019, 01:03:13 PM
At $4700 on Coinbase Pro right now! Just under $4600 on CMC!

Hey yes Bitcoins touched 4900$ levels and then corrected itself at 4700$ levels, it was a spike which has caught everyone off guard. I also read about a trader who said that bitcoins will reach 20k very soon, but I don’t agree as I feel it may only cross $5k levels in the short term. I also feel it’s too early to label this as a bull run, as we need more pumps before we can declare that the bulls are back.
6105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should humans be free agents in the gambling world? on: April 02, 2019, 06:20:23 AM
Obviously, when you think of freedom, it usually comes with a positive connotation in the mind. Freedom is the lack of restrictions, and being able to do what you are economically incentivized to do.

Right now, the brick-and-mortar gambling world is heavily regulated. Monetary inflows and outflows are monitored, people are not let in without rigorous identity checks, expensive licenses need to be obtained from the government in order for a casino to set up shop, and so on. Clearly, the government is trying to control the world of gambling. It's their belief that we, as humans, are not able to decide for ourselves, and that our choices may have negative impacts that we did not forsee.

I'm curious as to what you guys think. Do you believe gambling should be open and free to all, and that we should be able to choose where and how to risk our money? Or, do you believe there should be regulations imposed on gamblers and gambling institutions for their own safety, and for the safety of their families?

Hey each and every land based casino has different rules for their own safety, and also safety for parents whose young children don’t end up blowing their money without realising it’s impact. I feel you have yet not tried online casinos where you’re not subjected to scrutiny, all you need to register and you can start playing quickly. In my personal opinion I feel those rules are harmless, and if you’re a legit person why would you be bothered with those rules?.
6106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: April 02, 2019, 03:54:22 AM

I'm now leaning towards a child of Dany & Jon being raised as a future king with Tyrion as their protector/regent.

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

We must consider that George R.R. Martin is also crazy hehehe. Your ending would be the model ending, however when did the writers take that direction? We will certainly see more surprises.

I predict Daenarys, Jon and Tyrion will die before Cersei.

Hey I feel that could happen as this could be one big story that Sam is reading, to Jon and Danny’s child. I had read leaked scripts last year not sure if it’ll be true or not, but Cersei shall be bumped off very soon by her so called lover Euron so it’ll be interesting to see how long she survives. I feel Danny has to die as that’s logical from the shows perspective, but Jon and Tyrion better survive.
6107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to invest on: April 01, 2019, 05:31:57 PM
Investing in bitcoin is a great idea, especially now when the prices are so low but I would also recommend you to put some of your money in top-10 altcoins and in a few promising Icos.

Hey investing in bitcoins is always a good idea, you never know when bitcoin prices suddenly shoot up. If you see recently it was ranging in the $3.6k levels and today it shot up to $4.1k levels, had you invested few days back you would have made nice profits. Also for diversification you can choose few alts like Ethereum, Xrp but I would caution against putting lot of money in alts.
6108  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Brexit news - The UK may have left the EU on: April 01, 2019, 01:40:02 PM
It would appear the the Soros funded action by Gina Miller which forced a ruling that the triggering of article 50 required Royal assent for a statute. This means that any revocation or variance would also require such a statute to be passed through parliament. This was not done, and it is obviously too late to start the process. Under international law and English law, it would appear that the UK is no longer a member of the EU. I understand a suitable High Court action has been started, and it will be interesting to see how that is fought, and the results.

Hey according to what I have been reading in news it says UK has time till April 12th, and EU can give them some more time to wrap up the process. I’m failing to understand why can’t UK conduct a fresh referendum, and save itself from this disaster? Jetcash you’re from Uk is there no way that ordinary citizens can stop this, maybe dissolve the government conduct a fresh referendum and then stop this can you shed some insight about this.
6109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breakout Scheduled for August, Says Fundstrat’s Tom Lee on: April 01, 2019, 11:07:49 AM
@cybersofts. Can you add a poll for this thread to survey and asking if Tom Lee should be followed this year or not hehehe? We laughed at him for a whole year on 2018, this might be the year for him to begin laughing at us.

Hey while last year he got it completely wrong I feel we should give him the benefit of the doubt, and hope that this time his predictions come right. I feel a poll would be a great idea, as we will get to know how many believe he’ll get it right this time. Also as we speak bitcoin prices have slowly but steadily began to rise above $4K levels, I feel if bitcoin prices can sustain these levels for few days then we may see $5k levels by May.
6110  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Over Estimating Their Popularity by Requesting KYC? on: April 01, 2019, 07:02:26 AM
Hello guys,

I logged in to this forum this morning and here is the notification message I got:-

"KYC is now required! In order to continue using the forum, submit your KYC information"

1. Does Bitcointalk seriously believes they are that important, that people would sumbit their detailed personally identifiable data just to use a forum.

2. Has anyone completed the KYC here?

3. Who gave Bitcointalk the mandate to conduct KYC on their users?

I am just curious to know why would a common forum be requesting KYC from users. I think this forum is over estimating their popularity.

Hey you do not need to submit your real documents as this is not real, and Bitcointalk.org is run by Theymos who’s known to pull off such witty pranks on April fools day. I believe Theymos would be smiling his prank worked, I knew he would pull something off but for a second this seemed so real lol. Also op why don’t you read this thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5124947.0, and I hope you use some common sense post that.
6111  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - 🎲 Crypto Casino 🎰 Multi-Currency | Rainbot | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: April 01, 2019, 03:27:17 AM
2,000,000 Doge will be given away to our top 10 when the competition ends on 5th of April. That makes it 4 more days left to participate.

Details: Thread

Leaderboard:

Hey with only four days left to go we are seeing Abaa still strong, and taking every precaution that’s he’s not beaten I wonder if he’s expecting a whale to show up, that could be a mouth watering finale right? I feel the other 9 spots are yet not secured, and with only four days left now is a chance to step in and climb up on the table. Also I understand people tend to leave it for the last day, but in competitions like this getting in early is always a good idea good luck to the participants.
6112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: March 31, 2019, 05:18:22 PM
Im a long term hodler and im not an idiot im just preparing for the future of my family. Long term investment will give you huge profit in the near future, and thats what when i started to hodl some of promising coins but the risk is so high if you want to go for long term

Hey I too don’t believe that people who hodl for the long term are idiots, in fact I feel the long term holders are visionary’s who are seeing the bigger picture, that small term holders are ignoring. If people study bitcoins price history then they’ll understand that, those who have held it for the long term are the ones who have made profits. I have always recommended that it’s best to ignore short term fluctuations, and hold it for bigger gains.
6113  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁V3 LAUNCHED🎁$100,000 GUARANTEED MONTHLY IN WAGER CONTESTS🎁 on: March 31, 2019, 02:31:41 PM
Yeah, this is one of a good day to get more and more players because not every site succeed with this style of promotion, some of them have this to change to faucet but somehow their site can't afford to give this to their players as well because it can't be changed to real money so they just giving nothing to the new players. But bitsler gives everything to their players in order to expand their site
Faucet is just one of things to help gambling sites get participations of gamblers.
The technical and graphic designs of their games, provably fair specification, and the speed of deposits and withdrawals, especially withdrawals are other important things for success of gambling sites.
In addition, KYC might restrict potential success because gamblers tend to hate KYCs.

Hey Faucets in a site are always a nice idea as many newbie users first like to test it, before playing big hand and I like the way one needs to earn his faucets at BTSLR. I think yours is a valid point as site design, instant withdrawal, instant deposits, probably fair game are also important factors for a gambler. I don’t think all gamblers need to worry about KYC, as you only need it if you win a very big amount, for small amounts you’re not subjected to KYC regulations.
6114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All life with cryptocurrency on: March 31, 2019, 12:02:56 PM
We just need to wait until the market is going to recover and we would reach the mass adoption.  This happens as soon as the most perspective projects will release their working products that will be based on blockchain.

Hey crypto’s are spreading everywhere but there’re yet corners of the world it’s yet to reach, so hopefully it reaches there too soon. If you consider Blockchains it’s being adopted in healthcare, Banking and other institutions too, but crypto’s are facing some resistance yet which I feel shall iron out in the near future. I feel if masses adopt it then government can tax it, and reduce tax rates which shall helps us all.
6115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 31, 2019, 08:19:17 AM
Charles Leclerc takes his first career pole position in Bahrain GP, Vettel is second, Hamilton third, Bottas fourth. So far in qualification and practice sessions we saw total dominance of Ferrari. If they won't make mistakes, I think they're going to win easily. I just hope to not see team orders from Ferrari and they will let their drivers to race.

Hey I remember bbc.reporter saying how the Bahrain tracks will work in favour of Ferrari, and I have to admit I was wrong to say it won’t make any difference. I feel this race is Ferrari’s to loose, it’ll be interesting to see whether Charles or Vettel will win it. Also I’m sure Hamilton will try to cause an upset, but with Ferrari’s speed he may be unable to do it.
6116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 31, 2019, 03:35:15 AM
The next Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund match is in round 28, that's next match for the two teams, This game going to be really exciting to see the score of that game, Bayern Munich seems to be the favorite to win that match, but if they don't get all 3 points, I don't think they will be able to win the Bundesliga this season.

Hey this match will be an truly epic match as both teams will be playing for a outright victory, knowing that if they win they have moved one step closer to the title. However if there’s a draw and since both are on level with the same points then Bayern has a better chance of winning it due to easy fixtures. I feel Borussia lost the plot midway when they surrendered their lead, but they yet have a chance to make it up.
6117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 30, 2019, 05:13:30 PM
Fulham making it very easy for Man City to win this game, it’s 2-0 City at HT but Fulham have invited City pressure & defended badly on both goals.

wasn't a good game, a waste of good time Roll Eyes

man u also didn't impress me, first goal was nice but beside of that Roll Eyes

leicester didn't see anything but when i see the scores, yeah then its like.... if you wanna keep the premier league interesting then keep buy those Belgium players Grin Cheesy

Hey Manchester City has won the game comfortably, I feel the title will be decided only when the last match is over unless Manchester United can beat City. I’ll agree with you Manchester United were awful, and they didn’t deserve the victory their tactics were absolutely poor. That was Rodgers third straight victory as Leicester boss, and they deserved victory according to me.
6118  Economy / Economics / Re: What the true believers know but don't express well on: March 30, 2019, 01:07:46 PM
The people who are had a huge confidence with their investment that they made in the recent days will not being more expressive about their thoughts they only made a silence and analyse the things to get the success and definitely they had a huge confidence then normal people in this type of field I think there thought was almost right at any point of time.

Hey as a true bitcoiner I don’t expect bitcoin alone to create magic in my life, because alone it can’t we need to be wise and buy at every dips and then sell at the right prices for profits. I keep on saying to all hodl your coins for the long term, there maybe few fluctuations in the short term but we all will be rewarded in the long term. Also one important thing I stress on is to do your own due diligence, and not fall for the mainstream media false catchy headlines and end up making rash decisions.

6120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's your favorite to win this year's Europa League ? on: March 30, 2019, 07:48:47 AM
I would like to see Slavia Praha in the final, I know that is almost impossible, but it will be sensational to see a club not from the EU-top5 major leagues to win this competition
It's football mate, anything is possible.
By the way, when an under dog gets to the final, I usually prefer them winning it as they would have really used a lot of hard work and determination to get there.

Hey I doubt this will happen while I agree anything is possible in the football world, you’re praying for an impossible event to take place. In earlier years this league was for small teams to taste European glory, but then UEFA changed the rules and big teams also started playing along with the small teams. Also it’s pertinent to note that just because an underdog team reaches the finals, they’re not guaranteed to win they often choke under pressure like Ajax did against Manchester United in the finals.
