6101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Bitcoin Whale Accounts Accumulating BTC, Says Crypto Analytics Firm on: March 26, 2021, 01:46:20 PM
Theoretically, according to the past BTC cycles, an ATH is to be expected. So if we think strictly about the past and expectations, whales may be accumulating for the expected new high.

What if they are not just wallets but exchange or online crypto casino cold wallets?
I personally find analysis of rich wallet no conclusive enough to classify the wallets as ones owned by whales
And it's scary to know that as a whale of BTC, literally everyone in the world could check out how much money you own and where it's going.

Which is why the really anon whales probably just sell private keys or some kind of secure storage with parts of private keys and just change custody with OTC brokers. Or that's how I imagine it actually I don't even know if that's what they do.

Or are they really just doing everything with offline agreements now? How do people keep anon being whales?
6102  Economy / Speculation / Re: 3 reasons why BTC will unlikely trade below $50,000 in the near term on: March 26, 2021, 12:06:42 PM
Phew, I saw that we almost took 50k support away in the past 24 hours. Not that we still will not, but it does look like the bears and sellers are trying really hard and we can only see this level of dip? Not 20% dip many people are talking about yet so it seems like a good position to be in on Friday!
6103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: March 26, 2021, 10:57:25 AM
The thing is, most of these projects do not come from an idea of "lets improve upon the world", bitcoin was like that, it was created because satoshi nakamoto saw a big gap in the world of finance and created the perfect currency, it wasn't supposed to be even like this, it suppose to be a currency that people spend everywhere, that is the ideal point it should reach, whereas we are in a world where people buy and hold it (I do too) to make more money.

Most? I would say all actually, with the exception of very very few. I think people trying to improve the world are few and crypto, really isn't filled with such people. Even I would admit if I did a project it wouldn't be to change the world or make it better, it would be to profit from it. Projects don't want to admit that but they really should.
6104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 26, 2021, 10:20:06 AM
@slaman29 this is an excellent chance for these 3 to step up their game, and show to the world that they’re ready to replace the big 3. Also I’m spoiled for choices as all 3 player’s look good, but I personally feel that Zverev has a good chance and then followed by Medvedev.

Some mid table favorites went out yesterday including Anderson and Chardy, so yeah definitely looks better and better every day that passes and the big 3 will be eyeing all the later rounds to see who they might have to meet up in the next Grand Slam.

Still haven't decided to take any outcome yet:) Good luck to you!
6105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meeting about Bitcoin and inviting people to it on: March 26, 2021, 06:52:36 AM
I'm so F***ing done to introduce people about crypto.

Since 2017 i try to talk to my familly and my friends about this and they just don't care about what i'm talking they said bitcoin is looks like ponzi scheme or etc.

And when the price of bitcoin has reached more than $30k most of them come back to me and asking me about bitcoin and how to invest on this sector. LOL

LOL haha but hey as I was saying above, I think you really need to teach people about basic money and economics first before you teach them about Bitcoin. Not that I think anyone should be teaching anyone, but like for kids for example or younger siblings and cousins especially, I think we really need to open their eyes as ours were open to the current system and how wrong it was

^ Did you calculate if you won a lot more betting here than if you bet on straight odds at another bookie? Very curious to see if people would earn more here if they found a way to bet early (to get close to max multiplier). Personally I have bet but the eventual odds have not been so good but then I always go for the favorite in general and maybe that affects the outcome?
6107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: March 25, 2021, 05:14:49 PM
It is easy to determine why a project does not continue to be developed or in other words becomes unsuccessful as others say there is a lack of funds and the second is that there is no expert skilled for their project and another reason is that there is no investor so hard to make or build a project I can't complete the components.

Nope, it's not as easy as you say. Lack of funds is the worse excuse too. Bitcoin didn't need funds to develop in the first place and any new project should also not ask for money to make initial development. ICOs proved this funding for devs was false also!

The second reason is true though. Not enough talent and all the best ones already have great jobs.
6108  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far below $10k in 2021? on: March 25, 2021, 03:09:08 PM
Oh it's the camel guy again with a "fact" that BTC will go below $10k.

I'd be much more interested in what you would do if your facts do not come out again? A prize of 0.01 BTC should be no problem as it's only going to be less than $100 if your fact comes out right:) What do you say to that OP?
6109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meeting about Bitcoin and inviting people to it on: March 25, 2021, 01:57:06 PM
Its quite surprising until now for me that our professors didn't taught anything about money to me. They are my professors but they don't know anything about financial literacy. In the current era right now where most of the things are digital and online, we should teach Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general in the young people even it the basics only at least they have a starting point and then they will do the rest by researching if they really are interested to learn it.

I learnt about economics in school but it was very basic levels and very wrong. The banks also force students to learn about old theories that are unsustainable and even should be made criminal but they don't tell you everything like fractional reserves which banks all practice now (having no reserves to cover every loan they make out for example).

Teach people about real economy first before you teach them Bitcoin:)
6110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OSCARS 2021- Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: March 25, 2021, 01:07:41 PM
The director of Nomadland is a Chinese born woman from Beijing. The skeptical me is thinking that the Chinese communist party can manipulate the results and have the movie win all major nominations as a manifestation of their global power and their arrival. China has been manipulating Hollywood already.

The best picture, the best adapted screenplay and the best actress will be won by Nomadland.

https://www.heritage.org/asia/heritage-explains/how-china-taking-control-hollywood

I think the problem of identifying people and directors, where they are from etc, has become bigger in the film industry. Why should it matter if the guy is even a criminal or a saint? We're supposed to be judging their film quality, not who they are and where they come from, right?

Of course, judges are not impartial so we will be seeing "karma" votes where ppl will vote for people they believe have not been getting fair attention in the past.
6111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Data suggesting more than 95% traders are losing on: March 25, 2021, 11:48:57 AM
I read the article that the OP included because there would be more information obtained, and from the 24 points in the article, there were several times mentioning day trades, and from what I understand from the article that day trades will be more likely to experience losses and eventually traders choose to quit from trading.
It could be that the 95% figure is dominated by traders who do day trade, while for those who do long-term they can choose not to quit from losing market and wait for their choice to be in green.
My conclusion, long-term is more profitable than day trades but only traders who have a high level of patience can change theirs trading activity into investments.

It's pure psychological factors here. If you hold, then you are the ultimate "long-term trader". You buy something you believe in whether it's stocks or crypto and then you don't trade until the price is right at some point down the years.

But if you day trade, it becomes a job and a stress to keep eyeing profit/loss. You break down and make bad decisions from a tired mind.
6112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 25, 2021, 11:05:05 AM
Since the big 3 will be out of the Miami Open, who do think that has a good chance to win this tournament? It's going to be a good opportunity for others in the top 10 to break in the winning column here.

For one, Medvedev should be a good candidate here and so is Zverev and Tsitsipas. But there are also a lot of good players in this pandemic, outside of the top 5 or top 10 that can pull a surprise here.

I didn't know they weren't all playing, looking at the outrights markets here now the favorite is clearly Medvedev at 3.5x but I would definitely be looking at Tsitsipas for over 10x. Maybe even someone like Nishikori at 66x:)

But maybe the better outrights are Zverev verses Tsitsipas? (Who goes furthest).
6113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't buy this dip yet! on: March 25, 2021, 09:36:29 AM
I would like add that anytime is a buying opportunity, its just that dips are a good one because they can help you buy at lower prices and get more out of your money, I mean you will wait for a dip and no one will know that it is the until it has happened so the only way is to get in instead of waiting because the dip that you might've been waiting for never arrived and the prices just goes up continuously.

There's just a difference of method. What you're referring to is dollar cost average which is really popular because there is no stress or complications of buying at certain price. You simply keep buying at whichever price and it all works out well on the average.

But some people trade so they sell at highs and buy at lows to keep multiplying at optimal rates.

Not for everyone for sure.
6114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Gold is government assest,Bitcoin is all yours." A Comparison between them. on: March 25, 2021, 09:03:21 AM
The only problem is, even if we know Bitcoin has a limited supply and somehow manage to reach 1 million USD each. Do you think it will be the same as before after the 1 million bitcoin that Satoshi mined will be released in an instant? If ever it will stand a chance, it will would probably have a hard time bringing it's glory again or for worst it won't. That's the only thing that bugs me. Unlike gold or silver, they are continuously needed, for hardware purposes and alike, name it. So I am suggesting we diversify the investment, bitcoin at the same time gold.

It's not about bringing glory though my friend. It's just about how the market values Bitcoin not just as a speculative asset but as an actual REAL asset that most importantly now for people stores and protects value. And about how secure it is, from hacks, and from market manipulation. The more people understand this and believe it, the more demand for it grows. Then it is not about price anymore especially when US dollar is getting weaker and weaker.
6115  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: March 25, 2021, 07:39:05 AM
IHL promo is available for me:) You have until 8 April to make the bet so there's plenty of time. I went for the outright favorite Mumbai Indians but it won't be an easy one for them. Quarantine things to take into account when choosing but I don't mind. As long as they win 4 matches you win your stake bet so this should be great value. 10 matches if you make it to the final!

6116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is falling fast right now. At what point do you get out? on: March 25, 2021, 07:06:37 AM
Nope. Bought my ETH at close to $500 and I held out even when it was $80, do you think others who also held when they probably bought it even higher than me would have sold at $80 but didn't, and would do so now? You underestimate the patience of strong 2017 holders:P But no, seriously, this is a low point in the market and it could/will get lower, but it's nothing to panic about.
6117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't buy this dip yet! on: March 24, 2021, 03:04:57 PM
Bitcoin prices are below $ 55k now, for me this is a good opportunity to buy gradually at this level,
^ If OP bought BTC at this level price, OP will probably have now a profit of at least 2% from the initial capital.
I know that after a short pullback there is a resistance, BTC will not down beyond $50k. It will not down straight as I have noticed with the price movement in the market. Nevertheless, that is my personal assumption, it will also change in a different direction.
However, it is very hard to know when is actually a dip in the price, just buy BTC and wait until 5 years, guarantee there is a new ATH.

Never say guarantee, but ya by the way we're looking at things I cannot see why we can't push for new ATHs in the next five to ten years.

Crazy to think 1% at this price level is $500++. Soon (or not soon, whenever) when we're in 6-digit territory, we'll be talking about fractions of a percentage when 1% is an entire grand.

What exciting times we live in and what exciting times we have to look forward to already!
6118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if a stable coin fails. on: March 24, 2021, 01:44:57 PM
I usually trade at Binance and I prefer BUSD over USDT now days, but a trader who doesn't use Binance would always prefer tether USDT because it has better liquidity and trading volume.

I see no difference in BUSD or USDT and yes, Tether has a lot more legal issues now but even the regulators know they can't kill it, as to do so would be to crash the crypto market or at least cause a huge hangover, they will choose to protect consumers first. Or they could not care and go after it, who knows? But the same risk lies for Binance at some point right?
6119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop comparing BITCOIN on 2017 & 2021. It will never be same again on: March 24, 2021, 01:08:35 PM
I kind of agree at some point but to say that Elon Musk buying Bitcoin is totally not hyped as opposed to ETF possibility being hype? I'm not sure about that. ETF news should be more "worthy" than some guy who also pumps a memecoin and sells Tweet NFTs for fun.

I do agree 2017 rally was more hype though, but not just because of ETFs.
6120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 24, 2021, 11:07:30 AM
Xabi Alonso, coach of Borussia Moenchengladbach, starting from next season .
an ideal opportunity to enter the world of limelight, first because of the team's ambitions, as it is not looking for the league championship, but rather to be present in the European championships and then the kind of German league loved in the beginnings due to the lack of the need for exaggerated tactics and the situation of the competitors It allows him to learn .
he was rained under the leadership of , Guardiola , Mourinho , Ancelotti in addition to his leadership personality in midfield and years of experience in clubs and the national team make of all this a global coach project looms on the horizon .

Oh wow I didn't see that coming at all. Always respected that player even though he was playing for the enemy, he was always very underrated even when at Real, the way he calmly distributes and keeps rhythm in check. I think this is a good move and I wish him the best. Gladbach actually already have a great coach and mentality, let's see how Spanish influence checks on a German footballing team:)

Amazing guy good luck!
