6101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite casino game or slot? on: June 23, 2017, 07:51:51 PM
What is your favorite casino game to play or slot and why?
Everytime I play in gambling sites I always pick the dice game. Dice game is easy to play yet it is not requires a large amount if money inorder to play. Playing dice is more challenging because you can predict if you are goinng to win or not so you should have a lot of luck to win this game.
Doesn't dice bore you after a while? It's easy and fast, but offers no way to influence the odds.
I prefer card games or sports betting, because there's that shorter or longer period of uncertainty. With dice everything is revealed instantly.
6102  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST play/invest, NUMBER HUNT GAME with over 0.5BTC in prizes on: June 23, 2017, 07:46:35 PM
I haven't seen an insult channel anywhere else and I think it's a great idea.
You guys must be working hard, because there's something new on your site like every week.
#insult  Grin Grin Grin
It is going to be chaos there.
I think it's going to be more like with alcohol in the times of prohibition. Once it became legal again people lost some of the excitement.
6103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Satoshi Nakamoto Is Dead!!! on: June 23, 2017, 07:33:46 PM
Since Satoshi isn't in any  way controlling Bitcoin or influencing it, I think there would be no reaction. Maybe a small dump by market manipulators that hope to cause panic among clueless investors and buy low. I wouldn't care if he's dead or not, why would you?
To know that he's dead we'd first have to know his identity. This would be a more breaking news than his death.
6104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where to invest my 20 BTC (lifesavings) on: June 23, 2017, 07:28:49 PM
If I were OP and had 20BTC right now i wouldn't risk an investment. There's a high chance Bitcoin will break $3000 this year and you have a lot to gain just by holding it.
Investing is taking a risk. Why would anyone risk a possible $10k that you can have from holding for another possible $1000 from an investment in something like a casino?
6105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Surging Anew on: June 23, 2017, 07:25:26 PM
Looks like we're bull flagging...

hopefully we'll get some price action this weekend!  Shocked
The SegWit news are creating this positive aura around Bitcoin. Litecoin is also doing great. It's possible both will gain 10% before the end of Summer.
Just don't forget that when everybody is getting excited it can end bed. The majority is rarely correct when predicting the market.
6106  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: June 23, 2017, 07:20:00 PM
In my own opinion and study of bitcoin. My Answer to your subject is Yes because there are ATM and you can pay bills right? and you dont need to have a cellular plan(opinion) because you can buy a load Via Coins.ph (My wallet that I been using).
Maybe you can pay your bills with Bitcoin, but I can't. Bitcoin isn't accepted by most governments even as an alternative form of payment. If you want to pay bills, taxes, or pay any institutional fees, like in court, you have to use fiat.
6107  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good news everyone: SegWit may finally be activated with majority support on: June 23, 2017, 07:17:15 PM
If Segwit2x is implemented what would that mean for the Core developers? Are they out or are they included in the new implementation and allowed to continue development?

Losing all that talent could be a big blow for Bitcoin.

With Segwit activated Core Devs will still have a go. Bitcoin requires constant development and this time their idea didn't gain the majority of votes, but we still have a lot to do. In 2 - 3 years we'll need another update, because 2MB will not be enough, maybe then it'll be their time to shine.
6108  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Liqui.io is a scam. BEWARE on: June 22, 2017, 08:50:14 PM
I think you might got a real TX ID, but the transactions are stuck.
Maybe this has something to do with the recent flash crash. Somebody dumped $30 million worth of ETH, maybe Vitalik is buying a private island Tongue

Also, take a look at comments here. People are waiting for 48 hours for confirmation.

6109  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Safe to buy accounts here? on: June 22, 2017, 08:42:29 PM
I think it's pretty safe. There's a certain risk that the account is somehow compromised and you'll find out a week or 2 after buying it, but that's a risk you're willing to take.
Like others have said use a reputable escrow and you can be sure to get the account. What will happen to it next is another story.

I added  your transaction to viabtc and antpool, it will be mined as soon as possible. As I am saying already to everyone that is having this problem, please do think more than one time before setting up a fee.

Always visit this website to check out the best fee for the moment: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

Also some answer can be found here: https://support.21.co/bitcoin/transactions-and-fees/how-do-i-calculate-my-transaction-fee
You should thank him OP if what he said is true. If your transaction got added on viabtc it's most likely going to be confirmed within an hour. I've used them and they are very reliable, but you have to be quick and reserve a spot at every full hour. If your transaction is not confirmed in the next 1-2 hours it means that it wasn't accelerated.
6112  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advice- Should friend send 6500 USD to just one exchange? on: June 22, 2017, 08:23:59 PM
Tell your friend to choose a more stable exchange that didn't face Bitstamp's  problems in the past. BTC-e is a better choice IMO.
Also, if he's not planning to keep the money in there for long it doesn't matter which exchange he chooses. Chances that it gets hacked on the exact tad when he sends the money are slim.
6113  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: June 22, 2017, 08:21:38 PM
Cryptocurrencies are better than the regular fiat currency for so many reasons, no central controlling body, low fee (This is now an issue), no government intervention (This is also an issue) and so many other ways to make mankind independent.
Independence means there's nobody to turn to if anything goes wrong. No shoulder to cry on if you fuck up.
I've noticed people have became very childish, unable to make their own decisions, and this is a huge issue for them. I'm happy that Bitcoin came up now, because 50 years from now people would be unable to use it. We'd be so brainwashed that independent money wouldn't have a chance.
6114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you include bitcoins in your will (and make it a quest)? on: June 22, 2017, 08:16:37 PM
I have no children and ideally will never have any.

If I did I'd have to think long and hard about it. A depressingly large amount of families seem to come apart at the seams when money's up for grabs.

The quest element would add the opportunity for them to slowly murder each other.

LOL.....I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at something so depressing.

But yes, include it in your will. Technically it's money, so  technically it's an asset.

If you're worried about your kids murdering each other over your stored coins, you might as well be sure not to leave them anything or they might do the same over your house, car or anything else that you own.

I'd make a challenge for them, since including it in my will and making it official would probably mean huge taxes.
6115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Games and features of a good gambling site? on: June 18, 2017, 11:41:00 AM
Poker and BJ with live dealers can be quite fun to play, I recommend if you haven't tried. I wish more sites were offering it, but it's expensive to set up, so not many can afford it. A good gambling site should be provably fair and reliable. Always online and quick to update balance and send you your money.
6116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite game provider? on: June 18, 2017, 11:37:13 AM
It depends what I want to play at the moment. For instance I rarely bet on sports, only on huge events and only certain sports like football, because I don't follow too many. When I feel like betting, I choose Nitrogensports. As far as "games" go I like dice on yolodice. I'm usually checking which site gives out bonuses or has a competition going on and play there.
6117  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Genesis Mining experience!? on: June 18, 2017, 11:34:19 AM
ive posted a few times on here with my experience, i have done well just over 2 dash in 3 months so for 475 dollars not bad.

But how many dash did the $475 contract cost? I bet it was more than 2. Three months ago dash was $50-$100, so did your 2 dash cost you 4.75 -9.5 dash?

it cost 0.39 btc, but there was so much volatility at the time i wanted a hedge. it is not GMs fault that profitability drops or btc went up. like i said they payout on time, respond to my email and fulfilled so far the service i wanted, and because i am not the at best trading i prefer mining.
But it's their fault that they choose to mislead customers offering them lifetime contracts that are not meant to last a lifetime. If your contract starts making very little profit they'll terminate it. Their system is based on borrowing money from customers and paying them back over a period of 1-2 years and then terminating the contract.
6118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man Robbed at Gunpoint for $1,100 Worth of Bitcoins in Brooklyn on: June 18, 2017, 11:07:20 AM
Soon thieves will prefer pickpocketing your smart phones rather than taking your wallets because you might have more virtual than real cash with you  Grin
I also believe this is going to happen and not only because of bitcoin wallets. Wallets are usually encrypted and people don't carry huge money in their mobile phones.
What makes the thieves target phones are their ridiculous prices. A new model can cost over $1000. That's more than a good PC or a bicycle, but much easier to steal.
6119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Speeding up transactions on: June 18, 2017, 11:00:13 AM
Another thread about the same thing. I've seen at least 10 similar ones where people were crying about transaction times and fees. Guess what, whining won't make your transaction confirm faster and it won't lower the fees. We are all aware of the problems and block size debates and we are all hoping for it to get resolved.
6120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crime funded by bitcoin on: June 18, 2017, 10:57:53 AM
Crimes are part of everything because people are always looking for easy money. You have IRS scammers calling you and threatening to put you in jail if you don't pay your taxes by buying a gift card and sending them the code! Does that make the IRS responsible in any way?
Where there's money there's crime.
