If it is going to be "regulated" (which I doubt it is going to happen any time soon), any tag without a reference should be concidered as neutral even if it comes from a DT member or simply any tag must come with reference..

The only thing that should change is how these people think and behave. Sorry, is that a logical solution? Yes, it is. By ignoring shit-posters, reporting their replies to moderators, not validating their activities by bounty managers... They will be forced to improve the quality of their posts or just leave the forum. |

@rat03gopoh, your idea just will stop legitimate new users from signing up. In past theymos said that he don't want to make more restrictions to new members, he was even against 1 Merit requirement to become Jr. Member, but then he changed his mind. High number of new signups isn't a problem, the problem is what big part of these Newbies are doing.
Exactly, there is nothing wrong with the system, the problem is in people misusing it. The only thing that should change is how these people think and behave. |

There is already a solution: make your thread self moderated and remove shitposts or simply use the "report to moderator" button.
Users wearing signatures aren't always shitposters.
Besides, it will be impossible for bounty managers to track their participants activities.

I recommend changing the "zoom percentage" on your browser, so by default everything appears bigger in size [including fonts].
- I'm using a 4k monitor and this is the only easy solution/fix [applies to your situation as well].
No, we need it for Arabic letters only, it is really hard to read. Changing zoom percentage will zoom every thing else and we don't want that. Besides, it is hard to do when using a smart phone. |

With all my respect to you, I think you don't understand the main reason behind banning copy pasters.
It is not just to punish these membres but to keep the bright image the forum has as the biggest forum dedicated to bitcoin and blockchain and all its content should be unique.

Beside the fact that this is the project's team problem and shouldn't be discussed here, your suggestion is not going to solve anything.
It would be easier to lock the coins or paying bounty participant in BTC or Eth.

I'm tired of having to waste time searching the report queue, or meta or the staff forum to find out why they've been banned when the answer is usually copy and pasting.
Just wondering if it is possible to give moderators the ability to quote the plagiarized/ copy-pasted post and save it as reference and publish it publically! |

I mean copying news that cryptopia is delisting your coin and about to keep your coins in a few days to the pertinent thread is not copy and paste you SHOULD BE banned for. This is important news and is a very net positive post to read if you have those coins.
If so, he could easilly avoid the ban by quoting the original post and adding a link to it. Moderators do not tolerate copy pasting or plagiarizm, I don't think they have enough time to run a full investigation for each case. |
