6121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are having the difficult time, are you still a Bitcoin HODL? on: March 29, 2020, 08:08:43 AM
Indeed nowadays is hard to be courageous to hold your Bitcoin because of our current circumstances. If you are able to preserve your bitcoin even though you're run out of funds to buy some stuff, after this pandemic, man! you are a legend. One of the reasons we saw the price not improving today is, investors are taking care of every action they will do in the crypto industry. Some are waiting for this pandemic to be done and they will invest after that and other has withdrawn of their crypto assets to stock some necessary needs of their families.

6123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: March 29, 2020, 02:26:56 AM
They just wanted some fully secured investment platforms with a lot of benefits. also If they lost their funds accidentally in that investment, they have a higher percentage of getting it back. unlike in a decentralized investment in the crypto industry, the chance to get back your investment after some major problem is almost impossible. we always see each year that some exchanges are fallen to some exploit of hacking activities. Only one exchange has recovered their funds to their investors. from all of the histories of hacking the only exchange that recovered their investor's assets is Binance.

Corona virus can spread easily US needs to have more preventive measures in order to be able to cope up and lessen the potentials spread around them.
In a daily basis, the number of infected people have increase and the fact that US now become the number 1 in terms of number of cases, they should put everything in lock down, they have to deal with this virus properly as it's life of the people are at risk here.

What measures they really do? Why is it the number of cases has been skyrocketing?
Does the measure means its not effect?

One of the reasons this has happened because they did not impose the lockdown protocol as soon as the outbreak in China became unstoppable. now they are hit by this huge problem right at their head. because the USA is not like China, they having a hard time controlling their people especially those homeless who don't even have a home to lock themselves on. I really hope this will end soon, I really miss watching NBA games seriously.
6125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: March 28, 2020, 01:42:56 PM
Some people I personally know are voluntarily helping the front liners to help some delivery of foods and supplies. Some are just stuck in their homes and imagining some strategies when the world returns back to normal. as of now, every game is stopped and we can't do something about it.
I was looking forward to seeing some alternative thing to do, I found playing online games is not that bad because players are returning because of this pandemic.
6126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: March 28, 2020, 07:16:21 AM
You can always see people panicking with this kind of scenario like we currently facing in the world. Panicking leads to doubtful result but sometimes it is a good thing to do. as you can see on the internet, grocery stores are running out of supplies because of the hoders and there are no rules implemented yet. that's why those who have a lot of money can grab as much he wants and as many foods he likes. Later on, when you want to convert your coins into fiat, you will have nothing to buy anymore.
6127  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Location of Bitcoin ATMs in the Philippines [will update from time to time] on: March 28, 2020, 05:15:34 AM

6128  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Paano] Magbigay ng Bitcoin bilang regalo on: March 28, 2020, 04:40:23 AM
6129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the best place to watch cryptocurrency courses? on: March 28, 2020, 03:28:18 AM
Aside from courses, you can watch out on youtube, you can also add the lists of this wonderful collection of Movies and Documentaries that are related to cryptocurrencies. Either way, you can benefit a lot from both sources. You can use my thread for choosing a variety collection of movies. here's the link:

6130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 27, 2020, 03:25:50 PM
Watching movies, reading books and saving money because after this crisis, surely there will be a lot of expenses that was delayed during the pandemic. I just watch poker tournaments because I don't want to spend my money on gambling right now.

I am doing the same thing, saving money nowadays is what we need to do and to stock, some foods can also help in the meantime. we don't really know when this pandemic will end and let's hope it'll end soon before we run out of cash in our pocket because right now there is no job available for me and that's mean I don't have anything to spend except my savings. Meanwhile, watching Dota 2 games is fun and exciting because those professional players are really fun to watch.
6131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and illegal activities on: March 27, 2020, 02:55:45 PM
In every kind of currencies whether it's fiat or in the form of digital money, you will always find some fraudster who wanted to take advantage of every situation like what we have seen in the crypto industry. In the meantime, let's just think that this kind of situation is normal in the crypto industry because they are not yet fully validated in most parts of the world. that's why we always see some flaws like this one. criminals are often using cryptocurrencies for their shady transactions.
6132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 26, 2020, 05:31:39 AM
Another saddened news for NBA player KAT mother that has been in a coma coz of the covid-19.

Karl-Anthony Towns: Mother in coma; Wolves confirm COVID-19 diagnosis

KAT even mentioned his father that has been affected by the virus as well, but managed to take down the fight between the virus and now is in recovery.

Indeed, one of the Sad news in the NBA, players are being isolated to their families and friends. Those who are not showing symptoms can past the virus to their love ones except they are proven negative. This is what happening right now in the world, we hope this pandemic will end soon. I miss seeing those surprise dunk by the star players, I'm tired of watching replays.
6133  Other / Off-topic / Re: Coronavirus Prediction Thread on: March 25, 2020, 02:29:18 AM
I hope this pandemic will subside before the 2nd quarter of this year, for us to be safe in our places again. We need to hope for the good things to come, there are no impossible things for God, He can do all things. He can make this virus disappear like the other virus that infected the past nation. Let's just hope in every country will take the necessary measures to combat this disease and will support its citizens in their everyday needs.
6134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 24, 2020, 12:46:59 PM
There are still lot of players who are found with the virus but teams haven't announced the names yet.

I was waiting for the 2 lakers players who test positive for the Covid-19 but until now they didn't announce the names yet. I saw some posts on Facebook the other day and the other player's results are pending. the other teams have not yet announce the result of their players. I wonder what's going to the association not announcing the names of the players who are positive in Covid-19.
6135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 24, 2020, 07:53:33 AM
Gambling could induce a higher risk for minors that are already engaging in the actuvity because, underage are more vulnerable in acquiring bad habits due to the fact that they do not still have fundamental mindset that will guide them on what is right and wrong. Here in our place, even though there is also an age restriction for gambling, the government cannot still always monitor people doing gambling in the streets even with minors in it because,  people can do it anytime and anywhere.

When I was young, we have some things that are similar to gambling it is allowed along with certain festivals. On that day, minors and elders are free to play. I thought it was legal since those elders are also playing. But when I'm getting old I realize that it was not. The policemen raid those places and capture those people who are behind those illegal activities. so until now, I never see them doing that thing again. if their government is just, they will make laws that give their citizens a good place not to turn their places into casino country.
6136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I realise Coronavirus is not a reason why on: March 24, 2020, 06:42:35 AM
I don't get your post but I somehow understand you're talking about the sudden fall of the price of BTC. Well, we cannot blame those holders who we're suspended on their job because of the Covid-19. if they don't convert their BTC into fiat, they don't have something to buy their everyday needs, especially food and medicine. If you don't act fast, you would run out of things to buy. as you can see on the internet today groceries are scarce of supplies and most of the daily needs are sold out. If they don't convert their cryptocurrencies into fiat faster, they will go to grocery stores with nothing to buy there.
6137  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Covid Email Scam on: March 24, 2020, 06:05:30 AM

6139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 23, 2020, 03:03:09 PM
If they somehow manage to get a charity match going on, why can't they make a real game as well? The only way we can be sure about everyone being safe is everyone staying home, there is no way that a charity game could ever be safe.

I understand that we are talking about billions lost in revenue but we can't just make sure everyone keeps the hype up. Just stay at home, no regular season, no big3, no charity, there should be NOTHING, this is a serious thing and we should definitely have nobody outside, just the vital sectors that will keep people alive and well, that's it, if you are not doing something very vital for the world, stay at home. I hope they are not serious about the charity game and they will take a look at other options on when they can comeback and stay home until that moment.

Staying at home will be the best thing they can do because if those men become sick, there are some possibilities that if they healed, they won't play the same game again. because if it reached the lungs, it will affect most of the organs out there and might cut some stamina of the players. that would make them only play fewer minutes if they survive the infection. that's why staying at home is the good thing they can do right now and wait for this pandemic to end.
6140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: March 23, 2020, 07:56:50 AM
There are a lot of people who cannot control when they are addicted to gambling especially those who already lost some huge amount of money. He always thinks that if he gets back to that place again, He can get what he has lost but honestly that's not always the case. more often, he lost some more money over and over again. The only thing to stop this kind of view is, to accept that you're not gonna get the thing you lost because its already gone. there are some cases that you've won some huge amount but that will only cover your past month losses. Some gamblers are gambling for some decades and some are through out their life they have been gambling. You can only recover your loss when you stop because you're not gonna lost some more.
