6121  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the banks dont give free money? Why they loan it? on: April 02, 2016, 05:24:07 PM
I wouldn't call it a scam, but robbery yes. It's the way that banks make their living but often this loans are to expensive and unfair forw their clients. Islam banks, though, give loans without interest.

How does Islam banks survive without charging interest? Does it charge a lot of fees to cover their cost?

i have replied to this only 6-7 comments above you. i don't know where bitbunnny got this idea that Islamic banks are giving interest free loans! they do take interest for their loans.
i can give you links to the banks with percentage interest rates mentioned in the pages if anybody wants.
6122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Increase Incoming. on: April 02, 2016, 05:15:46 PM
yes it seems today we have increased several dollars. I hope it will continue until halving occurs Smiley

The price before the halving will be around $600. The halving is around 100 days from now. So that is $2 per day.
And that $2  is much beneficial for some people in the third world countries as in other means of earning they have to do much hard efforts to earn that $2, which is free with bitcoin.

the price rise has never worked that way for bitcoin, it just goes up suddenly. for example you wake up in the morning and open up preev.com and see the price has changed $30 and by the end of the day it can even be as big as $60 change in one day.
6123  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet / unsafe computer on: April 02, 2016, 05:09:09 PM
you are already using Ubuntu on your USB stick then why not completely switching to it as your installed OS, it is more secure than windows and you don't have to worry about antivirus if you are familiar with linux.
6124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to give away Bitcoin at a public event? on: April 02, 2016, 04:59:06 PM
So much advice, I am very grateful for it all.

Just wanted to note that the reason not to go full digital is that some people don't like to download anything (paranoia) or have what they don't understand flying into their phones or laptops. Hence the paper option is a gentle approach. The idea is that they then go home and explore  Smiley

you should make them the same size as a dollar bill mostly because they can easily place it in their pocket/wallet alongside the rest of their money, no message can be stronger than this visual trick.

on the front you can print bitcoin logo, the QR code, the amount, address and private keys
and on the back you should print instructions on how to use it with some links to wallets especially simple online wallet services like coinbase.
6125  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you hate about Bitcoin ? on: April 02, 2016, 04:52:14 PM
what i hate about bitcoin is the state we are stuck at these days. the bitcoin developing team and the community is broken into groups instead of staying united and everybody is shit talking about the other group and sometimes it seems like nothing is moving forward.
6126  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone noticed the C-CEX April fools prank? on: April 02, 2016, 04:46:57 PM
yesterday all kinds of crazy things were going on.
i have also visited c-cex and i found the sphere interesting but it was also annoying, they should have made it so it would go away if you clicked on it not just stick around,
luckily i was just checking some stuff out i didn't have anything important so i just played around with the ball and then left Cheesy
6127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 year from now 2MB HF will be proposed will you support it? on: April 01, 2016, 07:43:09 AM
i don't feel there is any rush for getting a block size increase like right now but also i do believe that there is a need for block size increase as soon as possible and 1 year from now sounds too late to me. and it might hurt bitcoin if it is prolonged.
6128  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: April 01, 2016, 07:36:41 AM
the only thing that you need to do in order to be able to save up money is to learn "Money Management techniques" that is all to it.
it might seem simple but i assure you it is not simple at all and requires a lot of planning for different expenses and how to cut unnecessary ones and how to earn more and more efficiently.

I have a broad and fixed plan for saving the money goal but while engaging in that kind of activity, some of the pointers are not managed properly due to unexpected event even you have reserve funds for your emergency funds.
....
i agree with u.
but, in reality we frequently a lot unexpected needs. such as hospital costs, accidents, donations, and others. Sometimes indeed we can save money, but when there are unexpected needs makes me to postpone saving money  Embarrassed

that is what i called "Money Management techniques".
i know that there is always some kind of unexpected expenses that happen, and none of us have any control over it. but if you are managing your money properly (expenses-savings-investments) then you can dive into your savings or cash out your investments in case of any emergency event.
6129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Increase Incoming. on: April 01, 2016, 07:32:31 AM
The hype is insanely strong for the halving, too much and I mean too much people scared to miss out on Bitcoin is going to hop on it at the same time during the summer it's going to be fantastic having done all the homework and just sit back and relax while doubters fight to get some cheap 3 figures per BTC.

i think the phase one of the hype has already happened and those affected by the hype has already bought bitcoin that is why the price rose(rised?) up but there were a lot of negative hype too like Hearn quitting and spreading FUD and also the block size drama.

so a second phase is needed if the price is to go up more than this.
6130  Economy / Speculation / Re: MMM affect uᴉoɔʇᴉq price on: April 01, 2016, 07:26:51 AM
MMMGlobal website claims 200 million users worldwide. Crazy.... But, just for the exercise, let's reduce that by a factor of 10.....

So, say 20,000,000 people want to play, only Bitcoin allowed.
IF the MMM scheme has required $100 original stake money from each of 20,000,000 people since 2011, that's $2bn in the basic system. It can't be any less, as the scheme would implode as soon as the amount of cash circulating dropped.

Bitcoin's current market cap ~$6bn.....

20 millions of idiots users?
:O mmmm I have some doubts about such claims.....  But probably we are so near to see this MLM collapse.

I think there is fewer than 2 million MMM users. If it is 200 million, the bitcoin price will be more than 1000 billion.

first of all, each and every one of these numbers in all the posts are being made out of nowhere and pure speculation. so there is no proof of such big numbers.

also, all these scams have a cap that when they reach it they close the scam and run away. if it was 2 or 200 million users, it would mean a massive amount of investment and no scammer is going to wait around for more, they close shop and run away already.
6131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: April 01, 2016, 07:18:34 AM
Here's one way get another hobby instead of gambling play some farmville Shocked. Or just say to yourself that you will always lose. The way I deal with it is by playing poker Grin. Instead of losing my money quickly it goes up or down slowly giving you more time to your bitcoins.
If i keep saying to myself i am going to lose i am going to bet bigger, because my mindset keep on telling me to finish my money quickly

just try to deposit as much as you can afford to lose. you don't need to put all your money in the casino and bet small. by restricting the amount you deposit in the first place you automatically restrict yourself to lose a certain "affordable" amount.
6132  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟2016's Best Bitcoin Gambling Site Award!🌟 on: April 01, 2016, 07:14:21 AM
i pick primedice for the best gambling site in 2016,its have many factor, beside that site so often to giveaway, also that site is fast and have good feature. and if i can choose second place,i will pick dice feature on yobit, its legit man! Grin

the dice part of Yobit is both good and bad.
i got the idea to play dice there from someone on the forum who said those free shitcoins are for gambling. which is the good part
but it is also bad because it doesn't have enough features like other dice sites, autobet + different multipliers

I dont really think that yobit have a good dice games. If I not mistaken people ever said that yobit dice is not provably fair. I dont know if they already fix their dice or not. If you want to get a good feature I can suggest you betterbets or coinchiwa. AFAIK these two have really good feature

Yobit is not really a dice game. it is just a side project (a bad one too) that they are running on their exchanger making it look unprofessional and desperate for earning money.

besides there is no option on their dice game you just have low/high on 2x chance and there is no provably fair section. and no autobet either

the only good thing is that you can claim the countless free shitcoins and play dice with them.
6133  Other / Meta / Re: How to protect an account from being hacked? on: April 01, 2016, 07:10:21 AM
sign your address and post it in the thread for account recovering, here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.0

there is no other way, and btw don't use the question and answer thing it actually make your account less secure

no, it doesn't if used properly.
correct me if i am wrong; the problem has happened only once when bitcointalk was hacked. the secret questions (for recovery option) was not encrypted but the "answers" were encrypted.
so the hacker could technically keep guessing the answers to recover the account. in which case the account will be locked to prevent possible hack if you recover through this method.
6134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Paypal & uᴉoɔʇᴉq ? on: April 01, 2016, 07:05:32 AM
PayPal is restricting accounts left and right without even doing anything against their TOS, simply because they feel like restricting your account for something as simple as sending/receiving more money than you usually send/receive

off topic : why the hell the word "Bitcoin" became "uᴉoɔʇᴉq" inthe OP ?  Huh

it is April Fools day, check meta
6135  Economy / Economics / Re: uᴉoɔʇᴉq can not replace fiat on: April 01, 2016, 07:01:56 AM
uᴉoɔʇᴉq can become equal to fiat but can't replace it. Dollar one of the strongest and trusted currency so it really imposible to compete it.

theres a huge debate either we know the dollar being the strongest for now obviously.

but theres a change in the wind of how china wants to see their yuan become #1 replacing it theres a article on their dominance on wanting to change that.

but in general i still don't think that bitcoin can ever replace fiat. because it is a global currency after all and each Country has its own money system and their government (as the one printing that money) will never let their currency be replaced by bitcoin
6136  Economy / Speculation / Re: uᴉoɔʇᴉq is not the new money on: April 01, 2016, 06:53:16 AM
bitcoin is not one thing or another.
it is both money and gold!

and that is the beauty of it. you can use it just as you use money with a lot more security and a lot less fees and restrictions. all the while you can hold it as a initial investor and be a rich person in the future when the rest of the world realize what we already know.
6137  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the banks dont give free money? Why they loan it? on: April 01, 2016, 06:50:21 AM
banks are just another business trying to earn money by getting it out of the people who are in need of money. that is the whole purpose of their existence.
before there were mafia and loan sharks with face scars who broke your legs if you didn't pay back now there are banks doing the same thing wearing a nice suit.

....Islam banks, though, give loans without interest.

haha. you wish...
it is 16%-20%
6138  Economy / Speculation / Re: China will destroy uᴉoɔʇᴉq on: April 01, 2016, 06:42:17 AM
another FUD topic posted here by kwukduck's sold account.

what is it this time another bank conspiracy or is it desperation for buying cheaper coins off the market?
6139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use uᴉoɔʇᴉq? on: April 01, 2016, 06:39:39 AM
bitcoin is the future. and for me the best part of using bitcoin is the fact that i don't need any third party to handle my money. i do it on my own, while holding the wallet myself and securing my own valuables. so i don't have to be obeying all these rules of sites like PayPal and provide them with my personal information just to be able to use my own money.
6140  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Forgotten wallet string sentence on: April 01, 2016, 06:31:57 AM
the sentence or the mnemonic phrase is only to recover "password" and "log-in link" so if you have these two, you should not worry there is no other use for the phrase.

AFAIK there is no way of recovering it if you have lost the mnemonic phrase. you can contact support and ask them about it because i can't find anything about recovering the phrase on their site.
