6121  Economy / Services / Re: Cheapest and reliable plan ? on: April 19, 2016, 09:30:45 AM
I believe when it comes to cheapest and one of the most reliable plans for hosting with domains out there, Namecheap is your choice since I've seen many tend to use it when they want cheap domain (I haven't used it personally but from my understanding, the first year is really cheap and then the second year, it's normal rates like others). Regarding best script, I would recommend faucet in a box script, it's a free one and surely does the job done, without extra cost: https://faucetinabox.com/
6122  Economy / Economics / Re: What was the biggest amount of Bitcoin that you have earned here on forum? on: April 19, 2016, 05:28:37 AM
The biggest one time earning that I've earned so far on this forum, was 0.24BTCitcoin (value was around $300+) for doing various graphical works for a client (the tip wasn't included). I believe from those that offer their services here, coders have the highest income of all.
6123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first confirmation is taking way to Effing long!!! on: April 19, 2016, 03:32:19 AM
Just because you used a fee higher than required minimum fee of 0.0001BTC, doesn't mean it's going to be confirm in the next block. Did you try to actually compute an estimate to the size of the transaction you made prior to sending and give a fee base on it? transaction size and fees used per byte is what makes it to confirm in either the first block found or the next one's. Could you post the transaction link, so we could evaluate the situation?
6124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advertising Bitcoin : responsibility of the community on: April 18, 2016, 05:20:18 PM
I do like your suggestions and will list some ways that we could do, in order to promote BTCitcoin to a wider audience:

1. Those that are popular in social networks (Fb,YT,Tw), could easily say stuff about BTCitcoin or accept donations in BTCitcoin or even better, give rewards in BTCitcoin to their followers.
2. Make self funded (nothing too fancy) campaigns towards educating the surrounding communities (real life) about it.
3. Add BTCitcoin to the payment options for the services they offer (in real life).
4. Try to introduce how easy and small a BTCitcoin transactions are to those that are in need of sending funds to their family when their working abroad.
6125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin will come in his currency NOTE?? on: April 18, 2016, 02:24:43 PM
Officially there aren't any physical notes (like a normal currency) but some have made a custom made ones (unofficial), more like just for fun (can't find their links). IMO there won't be any of them (officially) any time soon or rather never will happen since the whole purpose of BTCitcoin is something different and by doing this, a part of it's purpose will be gone.
6126  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New faucet: BIT FREEBIE; 3500 Satoshi every 15minutes (30% referral) on: April 18, 2016, 11:33:31 AM
Good rewards for a faucet (specially when your just new). Got 1500 Satoshi on my first try and it arrive on my faucetbox account. I think it would be best to update the title of this thread as well since it's not just 3500 and also not 30% referral commission (it should be: New faucet: BIT FREEBIE; Up to 3500 Satoshi every 15minutes (15% referral) instead). Aside from that, it's very nice and simple, added to my list.
6127  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: surf4coin on: April 18, 2016, 09:46:34 AM
The site doesn't seem to be a trusted one due to the following reasons that I would site:

1. Lack of SSL
2. The website was registered for a year initially and since it's expiration (3 months ago), they have renewed it for short time basis only
3. They've used free email addresses for everything (technical, administrative and etc...)
4. On their faq page, nothing has been said regarding the cash out amount but I found out on another website that: (The likely scenario would be, they would runaway with your money, before you could cash it out)
Quote
This site requires one to earn 0.15 BTC before one can cash out. The amount of time needed to reach that is quite lengthy. Once level is reached they REQUIRE to PAY THEM 0.06 BTC, they say to confirm you BTC wallet address.
6128  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I'm looking to make a competition for the design of my steam avatar. on: April 18, 2016, 07:29:49 AM
Regarding the price, 0.05BTCitcoin would be good enough for the winner but won't be that attractive if split over two or three winners (unfortunately). Since your in a tight budget, I would say make it 0.035BTCitcoin for the winner, 0.01BTCitcoin for the second and 0.005BTCitcoin for the 3rd spot. You could also add every earned money from the posts you would be making on the contest (from signature campaign), to the rewards as well (like a bonus). Honestly I have to say, you have to increase the reward or else you'll be ending up with same results as before (not being satisfied), since you get what you pay. The competition should go for a week.
6129  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coinrates.info : Buy/Sell Cryptocoins at best rates on: April 18, 2016, 04:59:22 AM
I do like the interface and it's functionality of refreshing every 30 seconds plus the highlighted best rates for buying and selling, however I would like to suggest that, those texts that are highlighted green, should have a grayish dark color instead of white, so it would be much more clearer. Also if you could implement a button that users would be able to get the rates sooner than the normal 30 second, that would be a good option as well.

Also some other exchange additions:

6130  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: April 17, 2016, 09:51:12 PM
I voted for "Yes, but my own fault" since I forgot my password to my initial BTCitcoin address after coming back from a lengthy off spell from using BTCitcoin (roughly 2 years). I forgot to save phrase for wallet recovery mnemonic (blockchain.info), so I couldn't request the password anymore (lesson learned and I deserved it for being careless).
6131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need ebay like site to promote bitcoin on: April 17, 2016, 06:49:30 PM
Well I think we really need ebay like sites (including ebay itself), to make BTCitcoin their number 1 option, before we could see it get promoted and have any significant results. Local one's are good as well but the impact wouldn't be that much. The downside to those are, if they continue with PayPal as their other payment option, then the impact would be minimal since most might still use it and never try to go with other payments. Promoting BTCitcoin is something, but making people to actually use it, it's something else.
6132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are not newbies indeed... on: April 17, 2016, 05:47:47 PM
I do agree with your points and had a similar path in terms of getting into this forum, at a very late stage when compared to the time, I get to know BTCitcoin itself (just in general and not a pro user). I used to mine using multiple GPU's back in late 2011 and tried some faucets when I had the time (along the way), then got real busy with college and after a failure to one of my GPU's after a week of mining, I never re-invested again and sort of didn't use BTCitcoin up until I graduated. Then a year after my graduation, I red from a different website that, this website is the best site to put my Faucet rotator link and as result, I did it back in June,2015 and slowly I found out that this forum is actually more than just that  Wink
6133  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does sending Bitcoins feel good? on: April 17, 2016, 04:38:55 PM
It's feels great most of the times, specially when there's a case in which I have to send to few people at the same time, and what makes me feel good is, if I guess the transaction size correctly and I send the appropriate fee when there are many outputs used. It's like a challenge to me but there's one other factor that makes me feel good when I use BTCitcoin to transfer funds and that's the fact that it's the only online payment option for me and it has made my life from a leaving hell (when dealing for online payments) to a piece of cake.
6134  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Pointless releasing anything like OpenBazaar on any other format besides Android on: April 17, 2016, 08:27:27 AM
Can't agree with you regarding this, since having more competition in any given service is going only to have positive impact on those OpenBazaar like websites, mainly due to them trying to be better than the other but the moment competition is eliminated or absent then no improvement will be done on their end.

6137  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How Bitcoin will smash Donald Trump's Mexican remittance wall on: April 15, 2016, 03:45:10 AM
Indeed this is a great opportunity to come as solution to those who will be affected (if ever Trump's plan come to success). The increase in demand, would surely help to increase the value as well, since the supply rate would be cut in half in few months. Regardless of the whole Trump thing, a big salute to Genesis mining for those awareness campaigns that they've been doing since couple of months ago.
6138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A long time ago... on: April 14, 2016, 05:59:49 PM
I'm surprised I never had similar thoughts to you, even though I've been using it since late 2011. It's a great way into showing non techy people that BTCitcoin usage it's not that complicated to use (if ever this gets implemented in the future). A simple change of name aside from the chain of letters and numbers would surely make it easier to the eyes of public and as result, drive more users to try it. This function could be used as a option for others into remembering the address better, just like how we can do it with identifiers.
6139  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mixing bitcoins, not a service, but want to put a group of people on: April 14, 2016, 10:51:43 AM
Having group of people doing this is much more riskier than a brand or organization doing this. It's security could never be in a satisfaction level like what merelcoin sited. Regarding the logs, most mixer companies have this particular issue on their faqs tab and say if they keep logs or not. Personally I haven't seen a complaints against such companies (yet). Regarding which one's have the best reputation here, I have to say, obviously bitmixer but there's also a new one called cryptomixer, in which many users in this forum (including me), tried it in beta and even though it had a small glitch in terms of live updating of the situation, it did the job done.
6140  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Askingprice for faucet on: April 14, 2016, 05:53:02 AM
Honestly, I can't give an estimate since you haven't posted a demo, so we could check it's functionality but usually the average custom faucet scripts goes around $20 with the exception of few out there that cost around $200 to $400 (FreeBitcoin, MoonBitcoin and etc...). My advise would be to make two versions, a free version of the script with some limits on it's functionality (in which faucet owners would decide if it would be worth it to purchase it or not) and a premium version with all the functionality there. Since this is your first time doing this, then try to not ask more than $20 and focus on selling it base on quantity for now.
