6121  Economy / Speculation / Re: 350 USD in August on: July 17, 2016, 01:28:32 AM
Only the OP is thinking that the price is going to dump in August I disagree with him.
The price we will see in August will be around 700-750$ or 600$ series.

Same thoughts here, Bitcoin price wouldn't dump as low as 350$ if that would happen there's probably a problem in Bitcoin. The price would be on $700 I guess or 600+ as I also assumed but 350$ nah.. it's impossible to happen in my dreams. Lol
6122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you want to become Rich you need to Put Higher bets on: July 17, 2016, 01:11:12 AM
A really bad move, if you know that higher bets can make you rich, I think not. Its easy to say that, but after you lose, in the end you will regret it. I saw someone who always bet higher and now, he's on 16 BTC negative profit, until now he bet higher to retrieve all his losses and he is continuously loosing.

Your right, that's a really bad move and also a wrong mindset these would lead to a total disaster on your money. There's no such rich in gambling, just bet on amount that you can afford to lose. If your continuing betting on higher bet and keep loosing then you'll end up crying and regreting.
6123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the longest you have gone without checking the price of Bitcoin online? on: July 17, 2016, 12:57:53 AM
For me I checked always the price of Bitcoin since I invested lots of Bitcoin. I checked it once in a while let's say hourly but there are times I haven't check the price for 1 month because I'm too busy on my work and didn't able to hold a pc or connecting thru net.
6124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: July 17, 2016, 12:04:53 AM
I just wanted to get your opinions on this one , what do you think Bitcoin would be if there was no Alternative coins such Litecoin & Dogecoin and the others ...
I mean it would be better with or without them Bitcoin would have no value at all ?

In my opinion Bitcoin is independent and altcoins only copy the concept of it. There no such way that altcoin could affect the price of Bitcoin. When there's no altcoin maybe price of Bitcoin would be high but it's better also to have altcoin so that there are more ways to gain btc by doing trading.
6125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the price for January 1, 2017 on: July 16, 2016, 11:51:47 PM
I think the price would be 800-900$ by January 2017. As you observed on the 1st halving event the price of Bitcoin gradually increase even if the  price drop sometimes then again it rises up. So, it would happen again now after the 2nd halving event but still no one knows what would be the price in the 1st quarter of 2017 but all I can say I'm sure that price of Bitcoin in 5-10 years timeframe would be insanely high. Grin
6126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin would follow the path of Bitcoin? on: July 16, 2016, 11:44:00 PM
forget anything long term and don't wed yourself to one coin. ride the pumps and you'll end up with a whole load more money. if you stick to one coin for years on end the chances are strong you'll end up with zero.

look at the charts on poloniex. there are giant pumps and then they disappear again.

I totally agree with you. Don't focus just on long term since there are lot of opportunities on making money on altcoin pumps just observe chart as he suggested there are huge pumps on alts then disappear it's really true they do happen every time. If you hold and alt and invest too much on it you must see the price pumping up and sold it or else you'll end up zero/ nothing.
6127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin would follow the path of Bitcoin? on: July 16, 2016, 11:36:43 PM
I'm wondering everyday what coin should I collect since there are lots of altcoins. It comes through my mind what coin has the potential to follow bitcoins path?Smiley any idea?

nothing really can compete with bitcoin, it has been around for a very long time and it has already succeeded the test and came out with flying colors.
so if you think you should invest in some altcoin now and keep it for a couple of years so that it goes from $1 to $1000 worth, then I think you are wasting your time and money because that is highly unlikely with the coins that are available right now.

That I was thinking too. Buying all altcoins would be a waste of money and time. Hoping I wouldn't regret like I was ignoring Bitcoin last 5 years ago.. Smiley

and I don't think that a person will manage trade with all of the available altcoins as they are in hundreds, I think more than 300 hundreds, so how will he be able to know about that which one will be good at which time and what to do and when!!

You have a point there mate, how he could manage all if he decided to buy all altcoins that's a lot of money and you'll have a headache on checking each every time. I wouldn't suggest that method coz other altcoins usually pump only a few then dump forever. It's okay if you sold it on the highest price as possible but if you've ignore the chance you'll end up loosing all your money invested to that coin.
6128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MOST COMMON MISTAKES OF A NEWBIE on: July 16, 2016, 10:25:20 AM
I think the common mistakes made by newbie is easy to believe in others and trust in such HYIP investment sites that offer great interest. My advice avoid sites like HYIP, CLOUDMINING, and do not easily trust people not known.

Yes, they do always fall on those scams like hyip investments site believing that they'll gain such big money but don't have any idea how hard to gain a single Satoshi. Well everyone passes thru newbie and we can't blame them since we also do the same thing when we're only a newbie. We learn from mistakes and don't fall into it again.
6129  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: July 16, 2016, 10:18:36 AM
I am looking to help move BTC forward into our economy more and would like to get some suggestions on how we can get more retailers to accept BTC as a payment.  The best part about accepting BTC is that they do not have any threat of charge-back from the customer.  I am just looking for some more input before I start approaching some of these local retailers.

As of today, it would be hard since Bitcoin isn't popular in some countries especially on third world countries. It would be possible on some because already lot of people knows about btc. I think it would happen in next 5 years I guess.
6130  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: July 16, 2016, 10:09:43 AM
This is my first post. Please do respect

My post intention is to help readers to save their money.

Some of the employee are not saving their money. They spend it on things that they dont need. For example gadgets, buying a concert ticket, accesories, etc.Buying things that not they need is also like a wasting money. Because this thing give a happiness  not a good life. Saving money is just like securing your future because your savings can help you in emergencies. These are the way to save money .
If you are empolyee. You must save atleast 20% of your salary. The 20% of your salary divides into two .

The 1st way : cash reserves- medical insurance, retirement, life insurance  and if you not have salary yet. And emergency. But dont spend all of you 10% in this emergency. You must know if the injury is serious o not before you spend the 10%.
The cash reserves must equal of your 6 months salary this will help you and ensure you becauas of you loss your job you have extra money .

The 2nd way : investment, business- you can invest in some company so that you have a extra income. And you can also built a small business that will always have an income like apartment.

Example. My wage is $ 7.5 per hour and i work for 8 hours and i work for 20 days. So thar my salary is $1,160 . The 20% of $1,160 is $232 .
So that my cash reserves is $ 116 i can spend this money in emergencies and medical insurance.
If my 6 month salary is $6,960 i can stop my saving money in cash reserves.

Thank you .

Thanks mate for giving and idea on saving up money. Every person has its own will and decision on how he/she spend or save money. Some people likes to have a happy life rather than good. But its up to them how to manage their lives.
6131  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: July 16, 2016, 10:03:46 AM
It would never happen because Bitcoin is now flying with colors.lol.The only direction that Bitcoin would take is only going up.  Grin so as as of now buy Bitcoin as much as you can because in future the price would be doubled or even tripled and that could gain a huge profit for anyone of us.
6132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: July 16, 2016, 09:53:40 AM
I lost around 1btc I think playing on dice, binary, sports betting. I've realize ived lost too much money on gambling hoping that I could won back my money but It didn't happen cause I'm already afraid on losing again which really hurts a lot.
6133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: July 16, 2016, 09:46:44 AM
Yes, it happened to me. Last autumn I decided to finally leave the gambling life. However, it took only a few months (until December) before I started gambling again. I wanted to leave because of the continuous losses. Now I'm back, but I'm not depositing any BTC left. I'll just play with small amounts, like faucets. Stay safe! And don't be greedy Cheesy
I want to say something here, if you can not control yourself and start to gamble again even after some commitments made to yourself then how do you think you will resist betting big out of over ambitious/greedy ?
Please try to develop some strong will to control yourself or else gambling can be very harmful.
If we decide of stopping gambling it should be for good and we should only decide to do it when we are already losing a huge amount of money that we cannot afford to lose anymore. In addition, if we feel that you are starting to ruin our relationship with our family we should immediately stop gambling.

I do agree, gambling have many negative effects if you're loosing too much money into it. You should stop when you realized already that your loosing huge amount and when the time comes that your already out of budget for your family, some instances that you'd even sold your house or car just to gamble. This is the worst case scenario if you don't stop gambling or you don't have control of it.
6134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 16, 2016, 09:38:51 AM
You should never get to a point where gambling can 'wreck your life'. Seriously my friend gambling is supposed to be fun, we all have the highs & lows of winning and losing but please never gamble with sums of money that can 'wreck your life'.
It's supposed to be fun, the main & only rule of gambling is to only bet with amounts you can afford to lose, please remember that. It is not worth getting into financial difficulties. Good luck.

Agreed. Only bet what you are willing to lose. Gambling is something to do for entertainment. You can make or lose money, but you should not "expect" to make money. It's just a lucky accident if you do.
Just want to add, if you don't like to have a wrecked life don't spend the money that are kept as savings or shall we say emergency funds, expense budget. Just do gamble on money you can afford to lose or extra money. If you're winning then stop, don't be greedy.
6135  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: July 16, 2016, 09:30:43 AM
There's no steady income in Bitcoin, if you don't like trading, gambling etc. . Maybe the safest would be collecting Satoshis thru faucets but it takes soo much time and you'll earn a little fraction of it. Second, just do signature campaign you can earn thru posting on threads just make it sure that you don't spam so that you won't be banned by admin.
6136  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 16, 2016, 09:20:06 AM
If the income from my bitcoin is much more than my day job and I know that it is a long time job or permanent job, then yes I will leave my day time job and will seek more jobs like that in bitcoin with which I will have increased income.

Currently, there are no jobs in my views that give you more in bitcoins than your day job, as most jobs in bitcoins are development and programming related. Not everyone has the potential to become a programmer, so I think it is better to stick with our job and take bitcoin as a secondary option.

Absolutely you are right, because if any type of jobs are here so why not people want to do day job or night job with bitcoins, but i have a lot of search in bitcoins, so my final result is that, no one job is here except Signature campaigns. On the other hand we can do investment or trading with bitcoin but that are not job, these are all business where we invest our money and than we get profit.

Yes and its not possible for everyone to invest money at initial stage, and investing money in trading can be risky as you may loose if your trade goes wrong.

yes i think when the initial stage the better looking for experience and use free bitcoin to do anything. so that when you are really ready, you can start buying with your money for capital. if you do not want to lose at the beginning and end badly, because it would eliminate the spirit in the beginning to get to know bitcoin.
Well that's one of the main problem. The not quite a risk to me but my main problem is the available job that is being offered. The services that people offer thru bitcoin is still not much to have a decent earning.

Yes and we cannot expect that we will get bitcoin projects on regular basis, if demand of those services is less then it will be difficult to earn stable income from it.

Yeah and even we don't know how long we will getting those kind of work, it can be risky to get full time on bitcoin as there is not guarantee of steady income.

Yeah you are right there is no guarantee a steady income in bitcoin. because it all depends on the efforts of each person. I'm sure if they are sufficiently skilled and diligent, they can earn a steady income in bitcoin. could even become rich in a short time.

I totally agree there's no such steady income on Bitcoin unless you're very skilled on programming or developing but I do believe only a few people acquire those skills. All I can say you musnt exchange your day job to go full time in Bitcoin since it's very risky.
6137  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: July 16, 2016, 09:13:08 AM
Hello,

Where do you use bitcoins? First i buy food, medicine, bills

I do use it on loading my mobile phone, paying my bills only because shops here in my country doesn't accept Bitcoin as payment. I'm also a gamer purchasing steam wallet codes online thru Bitcoin. All I can say that Bitcoin gives convenience regarding on buying digital goods or paying something that accepting bitcoin.
6138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: July 16, 2016, 09:08:14 AM
Without any doubt, bitcoin is used for illegal activities. There's no reason why not. Any currency can be used for illegal activities, be it dollars, euro, etc. As long as it's money, you have no idea where it came from. The penny that you're holding right now might be from a drug dealer, serial killer, etc.

In the dark net, bitcoin is widely used because of the anonymity privileges it has. They can transfer it to their bank accounts without having any trace that the bitcoin they have was acquired by doing illegal stuffs.
Yes right bitcoin gives advantage for those who want to use it for illegal activity because of its anonymity no one can trace who is sending the money to you bank will show money coming from exchange only. Not the third person name or identity or address.

I totally agree that Bitcoin is widely used on illegal activities since it can't be traced on any ways. Criminals use the advantage of it and that's reality we can't stop it.
6139  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: July 16, 2016, 09:02:53 AM
yesss. i spend my bitcoin on paying my electric, water and internet bills, i use it also on buying mobile load online

Were the same on spending Bitcoin on paying my electric, water and Internet without the hassle of paying It on their main offices. That's the advantage and I hope that in near future some shops would do accept Bitcoin as a payment here in my country. As of now Bitcoin isn't popular to some people
6140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin would follow the path of Bitcoin? on: July 16, 2016, 03:31:56 AM
i think Etherum and Litecoin is the best coin to choose after bitcoin as an alternate coin.
because you can see their price is make sense and stable. And people will always love when the price growing up.

Yes people do love the increasing price of each coin and I think eth has the second highest price in usd but according to its coin users there's a problem regarding with its security and still have bugs.
