6121  Economy / Economics / Re: Rate cuts money printing inflation on: September 30, 2019, 07:34:22 AM
We all ready see this, prices specially Property rent and buy prices are going higher.

Do You think its coused by inflation?

If so do you think the gold and btc Will be hedge?

I think the assets prices going up in Europe,  USA, Australia Central Banks just started money printing those 3  countries wich i mentioned above

As we Know in canada there is about to start Economic recessions If they dont start rate cuts like USA, EU, AU just did.

Uk Economic situation is 50/50 it can go down.

Do You personally feel that Fiat Currrency losing slowly puraching power?

I do feel that, but the problem is i cant buy groceries food and daily needs with Bitcoin first i have to Exchange my btc to Fiat, so the Bitcoin and gold is Not really Solution for that problem!!

Gold is a lot better of an option to use as a hedge than bitcoin. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is a lot more volatile than gold and could change rapidly in a short span of a few hours so you can't really use it as a hedge. Inflation can rapidly change the price of commodities in areas affected and as volatile as bitcoin is, it couldn't really support you when inflation comes.
Besides, crypto hasn't really been able to spread globally or at least is not yet accepted globally so it is difficult to turn to it as a hedge. You can hold bitcoin by using a part of your current assets but reserving some in case of emergencies is needed since you cannot ensure that the amount you used to buy bitcoin would still be the same when you sell it.
6122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smile-to-pay - facial payment technology in China on: September 30, 2019, 06:49:39 AM
I reckon many people have seen the latest “Smile-to-Pay” facial payment technology that are introduced in China. Large companies like, Tencent is using this in their popular WeChat app and other companies like Alipay are spending millions to develop their own technology like this.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/sep/04/smile-to-pay-chinese-shoppers-turn-to-facial-payment-technology

So, do you think this is a truly revolutionary payment option or is this just an extension of the Chinese surveillance goals? Now, you cannot deny that you made a payment or that you were involved in a payment, because every face is unique.

Will the millions of people in China blindly adopt this technology, because these platforms are widely used already or will they opt for something a bit more anonymous like Bitcoin? <The Chinese people are very disciplined, so I think they would just bend the knee again and go for facial recognition.>

The convenience is also a big factor, just imagine leaving your home to go shopping without a wallet or anything to remember... you just take a product or pay for a service by looking into a camera and you pay with your face.  Roll Eyes

Let's discuss.

It's a really nice step towards progress and security though. Adding facial recognition to fingerprints can really help secure bank accounts and such. But it's also bothering at times since like every transaction you make, your face is recorded and basically every company now has your face. They can use that then to basically gather information about you and stuff like that. Well, facebook almost does that at the same time since you use your face as your profile pic at the same time, but that has your guarantee and you can adjust privacy settings to whom can see it and such. On the other hand, once the pic gets to the company, you don't really have control anymore as to where it goes to.
6123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which betting type gives you the most payout? on: September 30, 2019, 06:22:20 AM

Sports betting is broader than most beginners think. It takes many forms. It’s not limited to placing your bet on who you think will win between two teams or players in a match. Sometimes, it gets challenging when odds or point spreads get in the way.

There are various bet types you can choose from when placing wagers on sporting events. But which of these earn you the most money?

  • Straight bet
  • Money line bet
  • Total line bet
  • Parlay bet
  • Head-to-head bet

If you do not know these betting types much, here's an article to help you understand them better: https://www.bitcoinsportsbetting.co.uk/news/most-common-types-of-sports-bets/

The best type to go for would either be Money Line or Straight imo. Total line and Parlay are a bit risky but Parlay can give you the most money you can get if the risks are much higher. The higher the risk the higher the profit after all. But you can just go for Money Line and try to see whether the team with the lower odds has a chance, you can try your chances there. Most cases in sports betting just depends whether the underdog has any chances of winning so you can just get data in your hands about the teams and try to make up a plan on which types of bet that can make you profit more. Different types of teams may give out more profit in some types of bets than others after all.
6124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of Bitcoin growing Dominance on the Crypto space on: September 30, 2019, 05:41:04 AM
Bitcoin being the pioneer cryptocurrency has always had a big gulf between it and other cryptocurrencies in the market mostly in term of valuation. Although this is expected, the growing dominance BTC is having on the entire crypto market does not speak good for the crypto space...
As at the time of this publication, btc dominance in the crypto market account for 68.4 percent, with this being the highest since April 2017. The question is what does this growth in dominance imply?those it suggest an immiment pump? since the bull run started not long after such high dominance was recorded  or those it imply further dump for altcoins and increase it btc valuation...
Please share your opinions.

You've already stated the fact of bitcoin dominating the crypto space. It was its pioneer. Almost if not all price of coins are affected whenever bitcoin price increases or decreases and that's why the bitcoin market is the one that is always watched by the people since it pretty much dictates how some coins rise and fall. Of course, this makes it very difficult for some coins to survive since the meaning of altcoins was to fight off bitcoin at its throne and try to surpass it. Observing the current course of events from the past few years, none had been able to shake the foundation of btc at the market and I would really doubt there would be one in the near future.
6125  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Bitcoin eth, ltc and others on: September 30, 2019, 04:45:07 AM
Do you think its a good idea to have paper Cryptocurrency in circlelation too?

Like we have fiat currency digitally we also can have Fiat Currrency as paper.

I personally think its a good idea to have btc paper Currrency or metal coins too wich Will be accepted any shops!

Second point is that the dEvil is not the paper currency or any Kind of fiat currency the devil is the just the money printing out of thin air and lending this money out.

So nothing wrong with cash cash is not a devil!
Nah I don't think so. It defeats the sense of what cryptocurrency really is. Crypto was made when technology was advancing forward AKA most of the transactions were made through online management. Creating a physical appearance or existence for the representation of crypto is degrading its status as cryptocurrency. Besides, it's a waste of trees and other resources which could have been used in a lot more useful applications rather than using them to create paper and coins.
6126  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Beware] FairWin, is allegedly putting user funds at risk on: September 29, 2019, 12:00:29 PM
If that is the link then obviously you can't trust that site because it's not even on SSL.

I think there's a lot of fake and phishing site which involves online gambling. So gamblers really need to be careful which site to use and play. Just stick to the old and reputable gambling sites around and not those fly-by-night site like this one.

There's also a lot of them in the Google Play Store and IOS app store so everyone should be very careful.

That is why it is risky trying new gambling site nowadays. So, users should be cautious. If you want to try a new site never ever use credentials that is similar to your other accounts to avoid getting phished. Also find a review first and check all the information you need to check the site illegibility.

I'd rather just go to those legit and reviewed sites out there. There are quite a bit of legit sites out there and they can easily be looked up and see if it was legitimate or not. Besides, we should have all known by now that the more something is tempting, the more it is likely to be a scam. Newbies should really try and research about how to prevent being scammed instead of researching how to profit quickly in gambling. Thanks for spreading the news and hopefully can be read by those who use the said site.
6127  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: September 29, 2019, 11:05:15 AM
The world economy keeps crashing with many incidence of inflation. What is happening at the moment is  a clear indication of a world that has failed the minority. Although the underdeveloped countries could partly be blamed for the high inflation that exists in their respective economies. Would things turn around for good  if underdeveloped countries start to add value to their natural resources themselves without selling to the countries with good economy?

A lot of underdeveloped countries have natural resources that could compare to those developed ones but they lack the technology or resources to develop them. Either that or their government would just rather quickly be rich by selling resources to developed countries and then pocket a huge amount of profit from there. The people can't really do anything about it since the government are the ones whom control almost all of the products that can be imported and exported and it's really sad to see that instead of trying to develop their own country, they develop their won pockets instead.
6128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: :-> Bitcoin are helping to reduce global debt. :-> on: September 29, 2019, 08:08:34 AM
Ok, let's forget for one moment that Banks are also getting money from thin air, when Reserve Banks are printing money. Let's just concentrate on the millions of deposits that are deposited into Banks on a daily basis and that most of this money is borrowed to other people with interest.  Angry

This money is channelled to loans <Short-term and Long-term> and people pay interest on those loans, resulting in higher debt.

So, when people remove their money from Banks and they invest in Bitcoin, they actually reduce the amount of money that Banks can loan to other people, effectively reducing global debt.  Cool

This is why we always tell people not to buy bitcoins with credit cards or loans, because you are borrowing money from Banks to invest in Bitcoin and that increase debt levels again.  Angry

Hoarding Bitcoin also stimulate a saving habit and that helps to counter increasing debt levels.  Wink
That was a mind-blowing fact. A wow moment for me right there. Only though, as you said, if people buy bitcoins using loans it defeats the fact that bitcoin reduces global debt. It was a great idea observing it from the surface but since the world still mainly revolves on banks and loans, I doubt that we could observe it's effects that much.
Holding is better than the loans of banks since it generates more profit but looking at it from a broader perspective, Holding depends on the market flow and its more of an instant profit when you sell it on a high price but loans have a constant amount of interest made so you would be basically making money every day. I'd say reducing the global debt of the world is a good thing but I don't think it would disappear any time soon.
6129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think satoshi will ever come back and post on this forum? on: September 29, 2019, 07:27:15 AM
I think he or she will, something in my heart tells me they are still alive. I don`t think they will reveal their location or who they are, but I do think they will post on this forum in the next 5 years. It is only a matter of time before some big big rogue miners or bitcoin devs do something he or she do not like or see`s a problem with and they will have to come back and have a voice in the matter.

It will probably start by him or her saying something like this.

"Keep using the longest chain" or maybe "use this chain instead from now on"

I did a poll earlier a few months ago I think 19 out of 20 people said they would use whatever satoshi said.

I doubt he/she/they would return. It's kind of like the heroic act of an anonymous person and well he left like that. His name was renown all over the world but he didn't try and bask under that glory. He left the community silently without anyone of us knowing who he/she/they really was. And I doubt that even if he did come back, he/she/they won't give his/her/their voice into matters at hand in that time cause well it's a growing community. He/she/they made it as a type of anonymous transaction without a third party so his/her/their goal was not to make it under his/her/their control or under his/her/ther watch but rather just see what the community can do to build it up from what he/she/they started. And it's going pretty well imo.
6130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get the best at this moment? on: September 29, 2019, 06:49:12 AM
After the long time anticipation of most traders on the result of Bakkt's rally, unfortunately it was not positive, critical observations and analysis has revealed that bitcoin has broken below both the symmetrical triangle and the descending which has resulted in a declination below the 200day EMA now. This will automatically extend the bearish market.
What a painful condition. The big investors sponsored the failure by selling out the news. How else/how well can we manage this moment,to get the best.

It's happened before and would surely happen more and more in the future. This is just a single situation of how bitcoin went down but that's nothing new. In any case, it's a good chance to buy btc while it's at it is low and hold and hold until the moment where you could reap profits gained from you, holding. Bakkt was overhyped and that's why many were scared about the future of BTC but it really didn't impact it that much. It's still the normal market and even if Bakkt did impact the market positively, it's still a gain. And since it didn't, rather than call it a setback, it's more like just another failed try.

Just keep holding and wait for it my dudes. That's how we get the best not only at this moment but for the future as well.
6131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wallets on older iphones are insecure on: September 29, 2019, 05:55:37 AM
Crazy how fast technology moves and advances in our world. The iPhone X was one of the most flagship phones apple ever made, and now your telling me, that after only 2 years of it being out, it can easily get hacked and exploited? That's crazy.

It isn't as bad as it's made out to be though, they need to have physical access regarding the device and it's very specific and hard to do.

So just don't let other people use your phone if you have BTC or other coins on it - invest in a desktop wallet.
Yea and this is why I mainly invest in desktop wallets instead of my mobile phones. But the portability of a mobile wallet is really nice so it can't really be helped that people want to use them instead of desktop wallets.

Do you mean that according to Loshan and all iPhone device units are no longer advisable to use in case the user downloads Bitcoin or litecoin apps for wallet use? Is this what you want to convey on this topic that you did dude? But other device units like Samsung, Oppo, and Vivo are okay. Do I understand correctly that I'm right?
Well if I read that correctly then yes. Only iPhone devices are affected and other device units should be safe from the exploit stated by the poster. That is considering the current information at hand regarding the safety of using Android devices anyway.
6132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2019, 05:08:04 AM
Recent article "Is it time to Buy Bitcoin?" here: https://www.cryptofish.com/blog/is-now-the-time-to-buy-bitcoin/ so supposedly the 200 Day average may hold up price? then again, we are below the 200ema so maybe not. Fear and Greed sentiment indicator is showing a lot of fear....

And that's why bitcoin can bring profit. Not knowing when to buy bitcoin or not is the challenge that the world gives us and when you manage to time yourself at the correct moment, then that's what can give you profit. That's pretty much how investing goes after all. Even if you do thousands and thousands of research, it still doesn't guarantee a 100% guarantee that you can profit from that investment. It's a mixture of luck and timing in the end. Of course, if you fear that you may make a mistake, then progress would never follow so I'd rather invest than get swallowed up by fear. If you can just invest when you trust is the right time. I would suppose it's around mid-October is the best time probably? The recent launch of Bakkt would also push BTC up but it wouldn't produce results right away so I suggest waiting for a few more days before buying BTC.
6133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any reviews on Betonbit.com? on: September 29, 2019, 04:46:22 AM
Nitrogensports is great, anonymous and everything but the lines they offer are lacking and often take a while to be posted.

I've been looking for an alternative, and I stumbled upon this site. Does anyone have a review for them?

Or have any recommendations for an anonymous esports sportsbook?

Seems like its pretty good. Just viewed their site and haven't really noticed anything so far that can be marked as suspicious. Of course, this lacks much information about how it really works since I've never used it but appearance-wise it looks nice.  If you want alternatives you can try looking up the net and then ask about here again. Can't really recommend others since I rarely bet in esports. You can try reviewing these sites and see if any meets your eye.

6134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now or wait for Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2019, 04:35:58 AM
Hi all,

I want to invest some money in Bitcoin (long term investment)
It's better wait the next fall down (like the situation on December/January), or buy now?
Otherwise fixing a target for example 7000 or 8000 $ and buy in that moment?

Thank you in advance for your suggestion

There isn't really a good or bad time in buying Bitcoin to be perfectly honest. Rather than asking advice for when to buy them, you should rather ask advice about observations of the past market and try to come up with a variety of possibilities that may happen. From there, you can then adapt and decide for yourself whether to invest or not. It's a lot more about researching and luck since the market is really hard to read at times and we still have people who pump or drop the prices continuously
6135  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin ATM Operators in Nevada Requires License to Operate on: September 29, 2019, 03:52:16 AM
US State of Nevada Financial Institutions Division has recently issued a statement concerning the need for the protection of the general interest in view of the increasing adoption of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.

The regulator's statement implies that even Bitcoin ATM operators are required to get their licenses before they can legally operate.

According to the NFID,

"Any entity that facilitates the transmission of or holds fiat or digital currency by way of brick-and-mortar,
kiosk, mobile, internet or any other means, should contact the NFID to request a licensure determination."

Well, I really doubt people would trust BTC ATM's when the said operator is an unlicensed one. For the sake of the safety of users of BTC, and for those that are still uninvolved to trust BTC and believe that they can get into it as well, regulations should be applied towards those transactions where a middleman is involved. Besides, without those licenses, scammers would enter the scene and it would basically render the usage of ATMs as useless. Not saying that all things involved in BTC should be regulated, but some should be strictly regulated to prevent problems from arising and help the community develop better. The BTC community shouldn't be run or controlled by the government but should rather cooperate and build a lasting community instead.

The veteran investor of hedge fund, Mark Yusko has said that it is not the right time for sell and Bitcoin (BTC) is only showing a buy signal. Yusko gave this statement in an interview with CNBC on 27th September.

Im pretty sure old timers are already experienced with how the bitcoin market flows. Fear always holds those whom are beginners and those old timers are fearless in holding. Holding is the number one key to success mateys so trust the experts and hold. Btc has been through a lot of downs and most people took this as an advantage. Now look how much they profited now.
6137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Supply is meeting demand. The number of Bitcoin ATMs worldwide is up over 500% on: September 28, 2019, 02:50:33 PM
Hey, it's Bitrawr. I've been following the Bitcoin ATM landscape for a while now and recently drew attention to the latest figures.

The number of Bitcoin ATMs from September 2016 to September 2019 has increased by over 500%. As of now, there are currently 5,457 Bitcoin ATMs globally. I believe that this is indicative of the strong demand for anonymously transacting between fiat/bitcoin.

https://twitter.com/bitrawr/status/1174682600834764803

The increase of Bitcoin ATMs is quitw good for its publicity but that amount is still little to cater the world. Ofncourse, compared to the past its a huge increase in numbers though. But the usage of Bitcoin ATMs are imo quite low. People would still rather p2p to be fair and since a lot of people still dont know what BTC is, it would still take some time for people to adopt the usage of ATMs on a regular basis. Sure some people would use it but only every now and then.
6138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Make it back to $20k ? on: September 28, 2019, 02:24:30 PM
There is a reason why bitcoin price surge in 2017
from three thousand us dollar to five thousand then goes up to 20k
during that time bitcoin is Introduce to public  and they are slowly
getting interest to invest on crypto , suddenly it started a bull run
and the public goes crazy over it excitement and everything
they buy bitcoins to hoard, then a news breakout china is banning bitcoin and exchanges, also closing mining firms, all kinds of fud
release over the internet, and the price declines
Now bitcoin is under fire again with Bakkt first day of trade price crumble again but slowly regain, they say october is the time that it will reach 16k are we gonna see 20k+ by november ?
feel free to share your thoughts dont be rude to everyone smile

Its really hard to compare the period of btc reaching 20k to now. And besides, coin dumps and pumps are a common thing since forever so you can't really read how the prices would go. Prices dropped like quite a bit of times and went up sometimes. Resting its increase on the recent release of Bakkt aint that good. Although it is a nice rope to cling to and hope that bitcoin would really surge up cause of it, its not the only factor involved. But I do hope it goes back to its prime or maybe exceed it though.
6139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first Bakkt Bitcoin Futures trade on: September 28, 2019, 01:50:08 PM

Finally, it's lived now. I wonder what will happen in the next few hours after this. Will it affect the bitcoin price, and we will see the next higher price, or it will remain like the price now?

What do you think, guys? I don't know if the news is real or not, I just read on twitter Grin

Source : https://twitter.com/Bakkt/status/1175938226554658824?s=19

It should probably be a goodthing in the long term but as of now, I dont think its possible to see any positive benefits it can give out. Assuming that it can hold out to the point where it can pull benefits by itself already. It appears quite weak since it really was kind of hyped too much but it should surely bring about benefits if it can stand its ground.
6140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be good for bitcoin if it will be regulated by the Goverment's on: September 28, 2019, 01:21:19 PM
I think it's inevitable. For bitcoin to really break away and receive mass adoption, a government regulation of some sort must be in place. Let's face it, at this time, trust is not that high for  bitcoin and crypto in general. Many people are still seeing it as a scam because they don't understand it. A government regulation should be able to reach out to the masses and give confidence that bitcoin is legitimate.

Yes it may give legitimacy for bitcoin but at the end of the day, government regulations would surely adopt policies that would favor them in the long run. Compared to the now of the current BTC community, it's really just some people scamming others. And if goverment regulations were implemented, those people would just be chaned to the government. I rather like the current freedom the market has since it reallt helps develop the community a lot more because it develops its own rules and regulations. What you said about the legitimacy of cryptop and btc is we all just need the acknowledgement of the government, but they dont really need to take control and adopt regulations and policies for it.
