6121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The $3 to $10000 challenge on: March 05, 2021, 06:11:15 AM
Wow I actually have to say I remember seeing that name Bitgisell or however you spell it. Bitcoin clones I didn't expect to see trying to make a comeback.

You know it's pointless when all the Bitcoin forks tried to pretend they were trying to fix Bitcoin's "flaws" but nobody really cared about actual development right?
6122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH now available on Amazon Managed Blockchain! on: March 04, 2021, 03:02:12 PM
It's AWS!
A very known company and really into technology. This is a very good integration with ETHs API and ETH blockchain.

Now, I'm waiting when Lambo! Just wonder how much Amazon charge for this service? Any thoughts?
Maybe just as the same with how much they ask for the pay what you use.

AWS? It's quite expensive for the clients I know already use them before but it's not fixed and you can always try some parts of some levels of the service. All I know is that you can even pay as low as $100 per month for Pay-as-you-use but for most companies in Asia that's way too expensive. Not sure why they'd go for Ethereum though.
6123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: March 04, 2021, 01:42:14 PM
As a financial backer and crypto devotee I will pick bitcoin, gold is just acceptable on occasion of terrible occasions in worldwide economy or frenzy circumstance in economies around the world. Additionally for bitcoin you have full control and liquidity while for gold you may not generally discover purchasers in your neighborhood.

What does financial backer and crypto devotee even mean haha. Sorry but in my experience, the people who actually use crypto the most aren't financial backers or would even call themselves devotees.

So funny to read people who blog or write and say opinions but actually hardly ever use bitcoin or crypto.

But you're right of course and I agree. If I could buy gold I would. But I can't. Bitcoin just makes sense. Easy to find, buy and sell.
6124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HoDL Pays Off Finally on: March 04, 2021, 01:11:32 PM
As long as you realize profit, sure it pays off. But as long as you hodl and not sell, the profit is imaginary.

So just do yourself a favor OP and sell something to make up your initial investment. And always sell a little more all the time to enjoy and reap the benefits. Because we all know a bear is coming, sooner or later;)
6125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quit My Full Time Job to Trade Cryptos Full Time on: March 04, 2021, 11:50:20 AM
The one you described is a win win situation so seems like the best choice for you.
This is not something I would recommend to anyone doing profit now in this bull market like last months  some people may get fooled into thinking they are great traders, but not your case as your profit comes from arbitrages and it shouldn't matter bull or bear situation.

I like your "scientific" approach to what you are doing and am curious about your studies background and the job you quitted was somewhat related to this new path or was something totally unrelated.

Yup same way people were fooled in 2016 and 2017, thinking they were amazing traders and investors. Made money from every strategy and every ICO, and some people thought bounty hunting was going to be their life profession.

Read research about traders and how majority lose money.

Arbitrage is tricky too and can bite you.
6126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tim Draper: Netflix will be the next one to fall on: March 04, 2021, 11:10:01 AM
Ugh, I've been seeing a lot of NEtflix videos lately on my facebook, supposedly the CEO is such a nice guy with progressive leadership and what not. Saying how they have no expense policy cause people spend as much as they need, I'm like, yeah right my ass haha;)

Anyway, Netflix BTC? Hope they start paying employees in Bitcoin rather!
6127  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: March 04, 2021, 08:36:01 AM
There were lot of matches yesterday and ended up placing 2 Multi's (one @47x and another @429x) and came up very close but failed to win with 2 misses on each slip Sad. Both if won and combined would have landed me 110+ mbtc winner from only just 0.5 mbtc stake. Damn U , Man Utd.

Wow man you actually picked the hard games right (Sheffield win and under for example that was amazing) but yes, got let down by Leicester and Man United. I got let down a lot this season by my team too.

Also to share that I made a small win from my 2MBTC freebet, and but I actually made 3.2 odds, on two cricket games (Pakistani local and yesterday's Zimbabwe/Afghanistan) but took it to parlay together with a Serie A match which got postponed so my odds went down to only 2x. But still won it, so I have $100++ from a freebet!
6128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Congrats to the Diamond Hands Bitcoin Holders! on: March 04, 2021, 08:04:34 AM
First time for me to hear about diamond hands but indeed, we should also give acknowledgement not just to those who held when it was $1 and waited at 2017 not to sell,,, I think those who bought AT the TOP at 2017 and did not sell even at 3k were the adamantium hands:) I know many did not survive that at all!

$100k in their accounts wow, that's 2 Bitcoins. 423k accounts like that. Half a million accounts.
6129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "People who have invested on ETH soon will be poor", said CZ #BSC on: March 04, 2021, 06:53:54 AM
It is a bias statement because there's a rally between Ethereum's Smart Contract and Binance's Smart Chain. Can you imagine where Binance, CZ and associates?
They all started with Ethereum as an ERC20 token and now made themselves owner of their own chain.

Smart guys build their own smart chain I guess. Binance have been very successful at their products due to a lot of money spent on marketing but you can thank the BNB users for buying it up all the time and making it go up and up in price. Crazy to think about how it really hasn't any real utility other than what they made up for users:\
6130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 04, 2021, 06:13:52 AM
Totally totally in love with my team again at the moment.

I was the first one to say we were out of copa del rey when we lost, and I was actually happy because then we could focus a bit more on a rebuild but now after last night thanks to another youngster we are in the final and wait for Bilbao or Levante only!

I don't want to distract from La Liga but game on with one final to appear to.

4 goals against PSG anybody?
6131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A Big Secret of BNB coin! You Must Read This Or You Would Regret Later on: March 03, 2021, 02:10:25 PM
Still not convinced, and I would still have preferred to invest in dogecoin, made also the same 3x at the time, if not more, and be much more confident I was using an actual crypto with an actual use case.

Not saying BNB doesn't have one but they had to make it up and keep making it up. It's coming down some day, you know. When CZ and BNB whales find the next shiny thing.
6132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge profit but how to withdraw on: March 03, 2021, 12:49:00 PM
Move it to yourself. No need to move it to any exchange.

And go ahead and sell it p2p on a lot of platforms. You might end up selling it much faster than on a normal exchange actually with an even better price. You won't run into problems unless your own bank starts calling you up though but that's why you open 10 bank accounts to trade p2p;)
6133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 03, 2021, 12:06:06 PM
Real Madrid should give thank much to Vinicius Junior because last night one goal at the end game make Madrid success from loss, I think Real Madrid have big problem on forward after Karim Benzema injury and Eden Hazard become bad buying player for Real Madrid transfer, exactly Madrid have load Luka Jović and just get only fit forward right now and not any get attempt so far.

I'm not a Real fan but this is what I've been saying for many games already. We at Barca would have to count on Fati and our youth, just too bad for his bad injury keeping him away from action but others like Real will also have to start counting more on guys like Vinicius, and he HAS been delivering for them, whether they want to admit it or not.

Can't keep buying nonperforming Hazards really:)
6134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why I am confident Bitcoin price will still rise A LOT before the next big crash on: March 03, 2021, 10:55:27 AM
Two or three months from the top means max June, which means this rally would only last for 6 months (from old 2017 ATH to new ATH). Doesn't really feel like good news if we see that in the past, the bubble lasted a lot longer (almost 1 year in 2017 from old ATH to 20k).

But maybe this also means less longer bear periods?
6135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: March 03, 2021, 10:23:04 AM
How does everybody feel like having a good old challenge for the NBA All-star three pointer and slam dunk competition? Grin
Will it be similar to the bet builder one ? Regardless, i'm down to join the challenge so we could have something going for the weekend.

Also I saw this interesting bet on sportsbet's special. If only the odds aren't 1.01 i'd probably drop my free bet on it.  Cheesy

NBA picks seem cool but again I've no idea on who or what to bet (but that won't stop me from making a bet haha I so know myself when it comes to Sportsbet bets;)

Oh man that's an interesting bet, I didn't realize bookies were already considering it. 1.01 must mean they are for sure on the outcome, the wiser "bet" is to buy Bitcoin now when it's still below 50k I guess!
6136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest news for BITCOIN in 2021 🔥🚀 on: March 03, 2021, 08:54:17 AM
Not even close for the title of "Biggest news for BITCOIN in 2021". In the first place, it's only a filing. They very well could decline this one, just like the past VanEck Bitcoin ETF filings. And even if it does get approved, it's not like we don't have things like GrayScale's Bitcoin Trust(GBTC) yet. It's a good sort of success for Bitcoin don't get me wrong, but probably not as major of an event as most people think.

I fell for the clickbait headline myself too. I thought all this ETF news already lost their appeal though? I mean, we were all so hot for it in 2019 but when the ETFs finally came on to market last year, the interest wasn't so high. Institutionals now want physical Bitcoin and they want it to hodl, I guess. ETFs at least not physically settled ones, not so interesting for them now.
6137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin needs Electrum on: March 03, 2021, 08:10:33 AM
Problem is most people are using the other existing wallets like coinomi (this is based on my experience talking to people since 2016 who use doge at gambling anyway).

Even they use the same for Bitcoin instead of Electrum or other specific single blockchain clients.

People don't really care at the end of the day?
6138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 03, 2021, 06:59:37 AM
Slavia eliminated Leicester because I think Leicester didn’t take them seriously and this was their mistake which cost them the elimination.I am pretty sure even the last place in the standing of the Premier League is of better quality compared to even the first team in the table of the Czech league. There is a lot of difference between these two leagues.

I also think Rangers will crash Slavia easily in this upcoming round.

I don't think it's just all about people not taking things seriously. If you ask anyone in Leicester and Brendan himself, I don't think anyone for one second would say they want to fight for top 4 more than Europa.

Look at their squad and see their long-term and short-term injuries. They are playing with a thin squad now and still pulling the points. I think it was perhaps a small underestimation and just bad luck, which is what gets you at these tournaments.
6139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 03, 2021, 06:29:24 AM
Had a not bad run if I say so myself this round, and last night thanks to City (or thanks to Wolves for scoring 1 goal) I was already at 1.5 points even at 3:1 (I picked 3:0) so when they had the late goals I was hoping they wouldn't go and score another one!

Going to be another highscoring round here with teams playing catch up on games in hand:)
6140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Top Ten Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Projects Today on: March 02, 2021, 02:17:52 PM
The biggest joke to me is to see Binance listed in a list of "decentralized" projects. I know this CZ fella is big everywhere and wants to talk about his Binance Smart Chain like it's better than Ethereum (and I'm not even such a big fan of ETH just think that BSC is a joke).

But really guys? What are we considering these days as decentralized??
