6141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cheapest Altcoin. on: March 01, 2019, 04:06:19 AM
I don't think cheaper is better when it comes to cryptocurrencies, though the market downturn has made virtually all cryptocurrencies relatively cheap. I don't see why people even bother giving attention to low-ranked coins, when the top coins are down just as much. I invest with the assumption that most coins will eventually fail.

That's good way, good investors don't know which coin will be the 'next big thing', they just invest in bag of coins that have possibility of becoming next big thing.
6142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: March 01, 2019, 03:59:55 AM
I agree on ICO rating, social media accounts (if they keep on updating), website is also important but i disagree om the number of people on their telegram. Coz nowadays you can hire people who can add thousands of people on your telegram. Whitepaper and roadmap is also a good one.

ICO rating is bs. Those so called ICO rating websites change the rating on the go when they see some money.
6143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding EOS? on: March 01, 2019, 03:41:18 AM
i think eos is a very useful project in the future it can easily replace the internet in the next decade but inflation rate must be too low to preserve the coin value in the future Smiley

That's bit over the top, how exactly eos is going to replace the Internet? Both are different things.
6144  Other / Meta / Re: How to tell which mod actually deletes a post? on: March 01, 2019, 03:33:31 AM
If it's self moderated thread, it was deleted by op, otherwise moderator/global moderators, their names can be seen on sub boards.

Unfortunately, forum wasn't kind enough to directly show who deleted your post  Grin
6145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i lost my private key of my etherdelta account on: February 28, 2019, 03:58:10 AM
Have you contacted the team or customer services of the Etherdelta? I think that they have that kind of support team that will help you to recover or reset your password. They will use some detail info in order to prove that the account is yours.

They can't help with this probably. If they can get access yo anyone's private keys then it makes the platform untrustworthy.
6146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC as a Scam on: February 28, 2019, 03:55:59 AM
Sometimes projects have to add the kyc procedure due to some legal issues. We can only see the top of the iceberg above the water, but its biggest part is hidden deep under it. We can be unhappy with the new rules, but sometimes it is the only way to pay the stakes out.

Then those legalities should be done from the start, first they say no kyc, so hunters join and promote their project and later they play a foul game.
6147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO still have huge chance of surviving on: February 28, 2019, 03:53:22 AM
Indeed, some only learn from their own mistakes. Although, sometimes it may cause you to lose something but lesson is learned.
6148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending altcoin without fee? on: February 28, 2019, 03:51:04 AM
Generally, it is not possible to send altcoin without a fee. Because the altcoin system works based on Block Chain Technology. Some mining fees are required to send altcoin. So there is a fee to be sent to send the altcoin to the wallet address.

But altcoin can be sent without fees but it is not in wallet address. Altcoin can be sent through personal email without the fees. It's actually done to send the altcoin internally. In that case, the sender and the recipient need to have the same wallet. If not the same wallet, then altcoin cannot be sent. This is the only way to send altcoin without the fee. If you have any other idea kindly share with us. Thank you

Was it really possible to send without fees? I think there should be some people that will going to develop some kind of crypto that can be tradable without fee. At this time, binance has their BNB which has a low transaction fee which is good.

Well there are already some dpos chains which does not have any sending fees, for example, Steem, Enumivo, EOS.
6149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will destroy Ethereum! on: February 28, 2019, 03:49:09 AM
I am hearing about cardano since long but still yet to hear about any dApps being made over it. 'operating on a first-of-its-kind proof-of-stake (PoS) algorithm' — first of its kind? Peercoin started POS and its nothing new.
6150  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos, proposals and rules. on: February 28, 2019, 03:41:00 AM
I see only sense in increasing the amount of merit obtained for the following ranks:

Newbie: 1-5
Jr Member: 8
Member: 25

And I see the point of adding only one highest rank, for example, with merits of more than 2500.

Those members having 2500+ merit should be given rank of 'God of Bitcointalk' of something similar xD

Not sure what you are talking about, Gemera official telegram is open (and afaik it was never closed).

Access friend communication, grub can be open, but can't do communication. Because moderators to clean grub after users who posted pornographic content.

Ok, seems to be regional problem. There was some porn material spammed on their channel but still channel was accessible to me.
6152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I pay taxes when I sell an alt coin for bitcoin? on: February 27, 2019, 03:29:48 AM
If there are tax laws then yes you need to pay, some exchanges also keep track of your orders/transactions to make things easier for you.
6153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: February 27, 2019, 03:26:51 AM
There is an old saying that, learn to distinguish between the value of product and price you pay, waves is kinda overrated and no it's not going to replace ethereum.
6154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Voting on the blockchain being done in Southern Australia on: February 27, 2019, 03:22:31 AM
A great Blockchain use. However, does it bring any consequence to the voters? I mean who voted for whom will be public that may breed hatred?
6155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl some of your coins Billion people will use Crypto in 5 years on: February 27, 2019, 03:19:26 AM
Good article. I also believe we are literally witnessing a revolution in front of our very eyes, this will a good story to be told to people when you get older haha
6156  Other / Meta / Re: [Proposal] Enhance the requirements for ranking up to Member position on: February 27, 2019, 03:10:45 AM
I also feel that merit requirement should be changed.

For example,

5 merit for jr member, 20 for member, 50 for full member, 100 for sr member, and 250 for legendary.

I am not asking for merit airdrop to everyone again, start from scratch, I don't care. In current system, reaching jr or member status is ok but anything above it the gap is HUGE!

Hey, they might be not online on social media channels but who knows if they have real-life connections!?
offline connection ?? don't expect too much, if it's true they have an offline connection of course they will also be active at least informing online investors not to run away like now Wink

yes you are right, if they are active in real life they should be able to take a minute to provide the latest information. but in reality, they seemed to disappear.

Actually, one of the team members showed up few days ago, after saying 'Hello' he disappeared again lol

May I know where the word 'hallo' it's come, email, Social media, or?
I try to contact they for a long time, by email, but there is no answer.

Some simple maths:
Lets say per spin you get 100 satoshis
1hr: 100sats
1day: 2400sats
1week: 16800sats
59 weeks: 0.01 btc (money back)

so you are saying we will get our money back in 59weeks if we don't turn off our computer? would you pay for our electricity bill? LOL. most freebitco.in users don't even claim atleast 5 times a day

You can use vps, but I guess that won't be worth it either unless you are getting it for free.
6159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed on: February 26, 2019, 04:05:57 AM
I laugh at this thread today. People who you call fools probably made lots of profit from their steem investment. Founders pay for steemit infrastructure from early mined steem so selling is expected.
6160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile or card ? on: February 26, 2019, 04:03:54 AM
I personally prefer mobile phone to do things so I'd go with mobile+nfc, that way you do not have to pay for debit card charges as well (I think).
