6141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling is portrayed negatively almost everywhere? on: April 21, 2018, 08:14:52 PM
You can see the negativity it gets all around the world just from what happened in the Philippines early last year.
With that guy who lost all his money and all his mother&fathers money at the casino and then set casino tables on fire and shot up the place.
With news like that coming fourth about what can happen if you gamble and lost so much no wonder it has garnished a bad reputation on a global scale.

Gambling is to bad on wealth if you got addicted to it, I also heard just related on that case on the Philippines.
On June 3, 2017, A gunman burst into a casino in the Philippine capital on the said date, setting gaming tables alight and killing at least 36 people who suffocated in thick smoke, in an attack claimed by Isis but which officials believe was a botched robbery. The gunman killed himself in a hotel room after being shot.
See? that's why some people had a bad comment on gambling because of there some cases like that cause of gambling.

6143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: except for bitcoin, what is your prefer? on: April 21, 2018, 04:58:29 PM
As we all know, bitcoin is the most famous in digital virtual currency.
with the effect of national policy, bitcoin is hurt.
Change the angle,if the bitcoin is banned, who can replace, even do better than it?
Do you have the suitable choice in your heart?
Just tell us!

Ethereum which will be my next choice, ethereum has the talent to keep growing, and also the increasing amount of ethereum demand will make ethereum become a strong and reliable currency.
If bitcoin is banned? There's no other alternative cryptocurrency will replace if bitcoin is banned expected that all cryptocurrencies are banned not only bitcoin. If there's a country banning bitcoin and that means that was the whole crypto not only by bitcoin.
Yes, ethereum may have the opportunity to replace bitcoin but I don't know if that happens because bitcoin nowadays is more going strong to the people's like they keep embracing bitcoin due to the asset of being promising and profitable when it comes investment.
6144  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine a cashless society on: April 21, 2018, 12:28:43 PM
this is a little difficult. because the necessary infrastructure does not exist all over the world. maybe 50 years later. credit cards are still not used in many places. cash is still a very important place in trade.
That was near here in my country mate, as of now we can pay bills, we can buy a mobile load and easy cash out money through our mobile phone by using apps wallet for those who engaging cryptocurrencies. But speaking of eliminating fiat and replace digital money well I guess it takes more time before we can be used that. Probably that will happen because nowadays people level up in modern technology used.
6145  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: difference between bitcoin and blockchain on: April 21, 2018, 08:13:17 AM
good explanation, and blockchain is part of bitcoin, bitcoin transactions will not work without blockchain, because blockchain that sends P2P transactions, processing each data and transactions, and saving block storage.

then also segwit bitcoin helps minimize the size of the transaction, so the transaction system becomes better.
Well said mate, it's just adding your statement, blockchain is a kind of technology that used by bitcoin to have transactions, and yes they are now adding segwit for lessening transaction fees and faster transaction time. They also plan to use lightning network aside from blockchain but I think that was in progress as of now.
So, this blockchain is a decentralized technology which is bitcoin a virtual currency that uses the blockchain.
6146  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Buy bitcoin for someone else? on: April 21, 2018, 07:13:28 AM
Yes, for as long as you pay all the applicable taxes. Make sure you document everything, including the transfer of coins to them in case they try to do anything shady because they'll likely be traced back to you.

As it’s always risky as buying for third party whom you do not know may end up in a trouble as we are unaware the purpose for which the Btc would be used. So ideally better not to buy as their documents could be fake one as well and end up we being in trouble .
That's why I must prefer when buying bitcoin those trusted and you already know. Money is very sensitive to the people, so it's better to avoid the possible scam than to say thank your money lost. Third parties it's risky, yeah you are right it is very risky so be careful on people that you dealing with. Peer to peer transaction is must better to deal with compared to the third-party transaction.
6147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing not understandable. on: April 20, 2018, 08:54:22 PM
I don't think that there's any reason to panic now. I would prefer such slowly creeping up market than a totaly unpredictable swings. Some of my friends continue asking me the same question: "Should I buy crypto now???" I don't think that anyone can say for sure that it's the right time to buy. So the only thing I can advice is to buy only in you're not afraid to loose everything.
Don't think that you've lost if you invested, in crypto investment especially in bitcoin you never lose if you know how to manage and never act as a panic seller. They say that patience is the virtue, yes they are right patience in investing is the best thing to do. But much better if you invested last month while the market has decreased all cryptos, then if you see that your profit was there then the decision is your's whether you sell or still hold.
6148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Halal or Haram: A Shariah Analysis on: April 20, 2018, 06:44:41 PM
Bitcoin is in accord to the Shariah Law. What is being taught in that law that a muslim should not engage is gambling. Bitcoin is a currency and at the same time it is like a commodity like gold and thus it cannot be considered gambling. Some muslim scholars have already have this viewpoint and said that bitcoin is healthy to be used by the Muslim community.
I agree with your opinion, bitcoin is not haram, bitcoin is a currency and investment is like gold, bitcoin is not gambling but there are some people who use bitcoin for gambling, bitcoin deserve to be said as a medium of exchange if it can be accepted by society

Until now that issue was continuously discussing whether bitcoin is halal or haram, somebody says bitcoin is halal because bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and worldwide payment system. It is the first decentralized digital currency, as the system works without a central bank or single administrator. Meanwhile, there some people say haram through the thought of buying and selling virtual currencies is not compatible with Muslim religion at this time because of the fact that their valuation is open to speculation, they do easily use in illicit activities like money laundering and they are not under the state’s audit and surveillance.

Hi!

Well done coins.ph!
6151  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin Legal? on: April 16, 2018, 08:16:37 PM
bitcoin is legal in major countries.

In major countries bitcoin is still in the dilemma stage as their is no clear guidelines being stated if they have banned it or accepted it. They still are figuring out if should be allowing it completely or should bring under some regulation so that they can control to an extent.

Agreed with you mate just like here our country they did not put any law regarding cryptocurrencies besides they are recognized bitcoin as a kind of payments method that using blockchain technology. And they warn people just be aware that it is may lead to a possible scam.
So, not all countries are the same policy regarding bitcoin.
6152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: April 16, 2018, 01:53:17 PM
Gambling can provide instant result but that does not mean instant money because most of the time gamblers are losing their money
that is why the gambling sites are growing faster because their industry is so profitable.
Yeah, gambling makes us an easy money but not all the time, there's also the possibility you are going to lose in gambling.
Trading is a sort of gambling when you trade another altcoin I just like you are in gambling too but the worst is gambling quick money but a high possibility of losing money. So which do you prefer much? for me, I go in trading.
6153  Economy / Reputation / Re: I got red trust... what to do on: April 16, 2018, 04:02:50 AM
I got red trust... what to do
That's your lesson to learned mate and you should remember your mistakes not to do it again.
You must know what is don'ts and do's here in the forum that buying account was strictly prohibited why are you jumping in the high rank you should be learned first before you have and right rank for you.
Well, only pharma can answer your question and I think there's is no chance regarding that you are already punishable.
6154  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: April 15, 2018, 08:15:19 PM
Since mataas na ethereum may balak sana ako i withdraw fund ko from hitBTC exchange.
Okay naba ang Coins.ph for receiving ethereum?

6155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: crypto going strong ? on: April 15, 2018, 05:29:19 PM
Now is a good time to buy, because some time ago fell too powerful. But I don't think the rise in short time can confirm that encryption has become stronger. Recently, communities have encountered many obstacles, and not many new investors have joined.

I heard that bitcoin consider as halal so it's affect on global demand for muslim people.
I just believe that this will happen, just keep hold as long as possible because bitcoin are made for us in this digital era that require digital transaction.

~Stay Strong , keep HOLD
I also read that article mate regarding Muslim and bitcoin, they are considered bitcoin as halal to the Muslim countries.
It's too early that crypto now is going strong, I think it only takes 4 days of recovering the price value from deep decreasing until now it bouncing back again. I hate to predict but there is possible happen that this is it our long time to wait bitcoin will raise up again.

If you are bought bitcoin last month then this your time that awaited, just keep on holding bitcoin will raise up more and we all have profit.
6156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time To Exit Trading on: April 15, 2018, 09:38:47 AM
As of now I stuck my balance in exchange site since last month because of price too much decreased, the best thing to exit for is to recover my capital and my profit was there. I don't exit if I only have lost in trading that's why as of now I holding my coins in exchange site hoping that all prices in cryptos are bouncing back since I invested coins. Trading also need patients or just to have a profit then if you can't control your emotion that's the time you've lost.
6157  Economy / Economics / Re: factors to consider in joining business campaign on: April 15, 2018, 08:25:20 AM
What are the factors that we need to consider in joining this kind of business campaign?
We must know their mission and vision and we must read carefully their instruction before joining campaigns. Sometimes those who don't understand the rules, they just remove by the manager of that campaigns. We must also know their policy to avoid those mistakes.
As of you now before you have done reading to their mission and vision maybe you are in the 5 pages replies on your dropping application.
For me, if there is a campaign that holding and managed by a reputable manager like yahoo I don't hesitate my self to drop my application quickly because I know some of the members here in the forum are thirsty with a  signature campaign.
If a good reputable manager who manages a campaign he knows everything about it he never risks his reputation just to manage a scam project.
6158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which coin do you think is best for gambling? on: April 14, 2018, 07:44:37 PM
Bitcoin is #1 for me as it is accepted in every crypto casino, which is important factor for me as I don't like stick to one casino for a long. And of course confirmation time and fees is also important.
There is nice article about the subject "Top 5 coins for gambling".

Yes, bitcoin is acceptable in almost all gambling sites. But there are times when bitcoin transactions run not as expected, that is when the confirmation comes so slowly. At such time, it would be better if we have alternative coins like doge which mostly will have a fast confirmation time, hence we can avoid such delay that sometimes can ruin our gambling momentum.
Yes that is right that most of the online casinos accept bitcoin for playing gambling, but i think that there are so many other online casino that along with bitcoin, they are also like to accept Etherium and so many other crypto currencies for playing gambling, but overall bitcoin can be consider as the best currency for playing gambling online.
Those coins that have the initial positions on the price chart are mostly supported and accepted by the casinos that offer gambling. This is because use of low valued coins s a loss for the house itself as the total earned profit is not equal to the desired amount that is to be shared amongst the players’ and the house where they are betting.
If you mean ethereum, bitcoin and litecoin well I am right. But mostly gambling site is use bitcoin for to deposit their site even it is high fees. Because they think that the most valuable coin is bitcoin that's why this is mostly used by gambling site now. There are a certain amount of gambling sites who used altcoins but the high volume used is bitcoin to all gambler.
6159  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sarap sana mag mina kaso wala akong pondo mag isa. on: April 14, 2018, 03:51:19 PM

6160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can ruin a Country? on: April 14, 2018, 11:07:46 AM
I think bitcoin will not damage the country, let alone if it is legalized by that country. currently bitcoin can actually improve the economy of society in a country.

on my opinion, blockchain technology can damage the country (on some time)... most of countries have centralised system and its too hard to change it on 100%, so... anyway - decentralised system is cool and it have right to exist in our lives Smiley
Are you sure that blockchain technology can damage the country?
There some country using blockchain technology because it has the fastest transaction compared to any online transactions.
One thing that government refusing bitcoin or other currencies because it is decentralized and there's nothing to do with manipulated these cryptos. So, some of them decided to ban due to avoid near in the future that bitcoin may compete with the bank near in the future, and those maybe ruin in most countries.
